  • This could be so fun. No perks or add-ons and a new map made specifically with this game mode in mind. Because I think a lot of survivor's would just pre throw for the entire duration instead of actually expressing skill if they just threw us on coal tower.

This. People blamed their losses on comp 4-mans too much when they often got ######### on by solos because they played bad. Now you only get beaten by those or if you just make 400 mistakes.

Yeah, people may go against 4 man swfs try harding. But in my 9 months of being a blight main with on and off breaks from the game I have gone against 3 comp teams to my memory. And I gotta say they are the most boring salty players ever. Killers most definitely over exaggerate the teams and players they go against at times.

6.1 was a massive failure and didnt bring the hoped results. At the same time survivors are not having fun anymore and Q killer all the time or not even launch DbD. Very well seen at the constant BP BONUS incentive on survivor side aswell as all the complains and general low motivation of survivors to just give up.

And if that wasn't enough bhvr continues with this trend in the next patches. Amazing.

Killer has 100% past 6pm on na most of the time lol. If unbreakable patch goes through it will inflate survivor's without actual skill input.

    Your blue is very pretty.

As for the OP, gen rushing is a big problem, especially for weaker m1 killers. You pretty much have to run at least 2 gen regression perks, but even sometimes stacking those do the gens fly past. I really wish they'd just make gen regression and repair standardized and not able to be affected by perks to make room for using more fun and interesting perks. Mandatory gen regression just isn't fun for either side.

I agree remove gen speed up and slowdown entirely and balance the game around that. Then both sides will have more interesting meta's. But take my word with a grain of salt, I am a blight main that runs no gen regression.

  • Intercepting is probably the happiest medium you can get. Lets say someone is on hook, you chase the first person that comes for them if you can't find anybody. Now there are 3 maybe 4 people depending on if it's solo queue or not, not on gens.. It's one of the best ways to apply pressure to a team. As others have said though, if someone goes for the hook in your face you aren't camping you are chasing them. Unless of course you were camping and they gotta go for the save in your face.

its just really weird to post a screenshot from this long ago and still talk about it. like this was a completely different era of dbd at this point. yea, ur going to get a bunch of bots who play like this. what else can be said about it? you ran a strong build and they didn't want to play against it. its that simple.

The point is the only didn't want to play the game because they actually had to try. If they don't want to go against players on par with them they shouldn't play the game.

  • Also to add to other people: If you vacuum into a killer who's lunge is far enough through the pallet, you are forcing your hitbox into the killer's lunge.

  • @Vampwire said:

This is so long ago why are u even posting it? lmao.

They're probably bored because it was the millionth blight they've seen that day with alch ring and crow (which is super boring, even before when survivors were stronger). It's still super common and basically puts him on easy mode. I'd say what you brought was basically equal to the same thing they did. They didn't have boons or medkits so it's not like it would've been impossible to pressure them. They also didn't bring ds either, so the UB+SG isn't really forced.

but part of me suspects you uploaded it just to get some reactions or validation.

Read my replies in this post. I would say those builds are probably equal, they went in for a bully squad but they can't just stand around an alch ring blight like they can a wraith. I don't need validation nor do I care about being "bullied". My other replies give thoughts and context.

Most Blight's run those add-ons because they make winning easier.

That's why I said decent amount, and if they wanted an easy win they would be running c33 every game. Most brainless free add-on in the game that I would equate to old dh. And for more experienced blights iri tag is also better though that does have mild map rng factors. Alch ring has counter play, it just leaves very little of it. Most of the time you just have to play the tile you are at, there is no using the hit speed burst to get to a tile farther than either 12 or 16m I forget. After 6.1.0 there is even less of that counter play left, and I run it rarely because of that. I would say 95% of survivors don't actually know how to play vs blight well and that comes from not having first hand experience of playing the most complicated killer in the game. Although I myself know how to play vs blight I usually mess up because my survivor movement and gauge of distance is terrible I am getting better the more I play survivor though. But I have only been playing survivor consistently since 6.1.0 and even then I play dbd less overall these days.

You've got good bloodpoints, so it must have been a decent way into the game (was it still when the max bp was 32k?). Guessing they were getting steamrolled?

I was having fun, because it was the first decent team I had gone against in quite a while, while on the verge of quitting due to what I called high mmr survivors "bots with perks". Especially the guy named Yooni, he actually knew how to play against blight and then he dc'ed first followed by the other three within 2 seconds, it was quite jarring when it happened. I was having enough fun to run to the other side of the map to let them reset with their builds, guess that's when they decided to dc. Guess I didn't answer your question, 4 min in I think. And I genuinely do not think they would have gotten steamrolled at all if they were actually trying to win.

    @Pulsar said:

It's from people who have gotten stomped one too many times.

I do genuinely feel for them because what do you do when you really try to have fun/win and you still can't?

Anyways, the game promotes a toxic gameplay feedback loop where it feels so ######### to lose that you'll stack everything in your favor to avoid that, hence you get matches like this.

Also yes the reason I even had half a full meta build on blight back then was because I didn't feel the players I was going against were good, just running good builds and didn't feel the deserved to win. But I quit until 6.1.0 probably two weeks later because sweating like that wasn't fun, I just want to get better at blight not try hard to win as that usually doesn't improve mechanical skill on blight doing the most efficient methods to win as killer. High mmr has improved drastically in terms of survivor skill level since then, if enough players are playing for matchmaking to you know work. Not a bunch of boosted survivor players. Now it's the killers who are the boosted one's playing full gen kick, 3 gens. I despise perks and strategy's that take away gameplay other than slugging.

Now I just run chill builds with no slow down and random assortments of add-ons. Alch ring went from strong to unfair after 6.1.0 imo. Although it makes me sad because rushing = fun, alch ring = more rushes = more fun, green speed = faster rushes = more fun. I can pretty much say a decent amount of blights run those add-ons because of that. So if I am running alch ring it's just shadowborne, bbq and lethal.

I mean full swf pre 6.1.0 with those builds vs 2 good perks and 2 strong add-ons. And the reason I made this post wasn't because of that, it's because they were all hovering around me trying to "bully" me even though they know I got alch ring. And imo with those build's and the way they were playing you would think they would want to have the fun slug only chase game, because they were most definitely not trying to do gens. Also if they were trying to win they would be stacking medkits/toolbox's not flash lights. They went in with the intent to completely destroy some poor wraith or m1 killer not sweat for the win.

The 2 main bugs I am aware of and I am talking about for example are Blight "hug tech", and the "infinite" (gen limited technically) flashbang bug mentioned in the patch notes. If someone on either side uses these can they be banned for doing so?

Both of them can be accidentally or purposely done very easily, without much clarity on whether it was done purposely or not. At the same time they can be used an excessive amount of times in a single match, making it clear the bug is being abused. Are they considered 100% intended/allowable until patched out? If it is bannable, do I need to record multiple instances of the bug abuse for the report to prove intentional instead of accidental use?

If they hug tech was ban worthy it would have been patched out in one or two patches or lilith omen would have been banned months ago.

  • Trade offer: I keep hug tech, you keep double flash bang. Tbh hug tech probably isn't getting removed at this point any way, unless they billy blight but hopefully not.

  • Play huntress, she is just better in every way other than camping.

Before you decide to run your mouth is assumptions you know nothing about, I'm primarily talking about solo q's. Lower MMR solo q's. The kind of queues that you PRAY people stick to gens or can atleast run the killer well. Alot of the time you have Campy Caludette or Locker frigging Leon's that hide whenever they hear the killer's. I've watched randoms hide in lockers for 20 seconds at a time and slow creep everywhere while the killer has been chasing me for the past 3 minutes. 1 gen pop. Not unhooking people when a killer is proxy camping. Solo q is far from being fun and something needs to be done about it. Give us an in game voice chat so that solo players can coordinate the game alittle better then they can nerf survs or buff killers or whatever accordingly. Also I AM NOT OBLIGATED BY ANY MEANS TO STAY IN A GAME I DEEM UNFUN AND UNFAIR. If I get tunneled to 2nd hook and there's still 4 gens left to do I quit the game and could care less about the opinions of others.

Ok but that's what I'm talking about and in every online game ever you get punished for repeatedly ruining other players game's. This game is no different 4 suicide on hooks or dc's in a week and you are suspended for a week, repeat until perma ban.

And in assumptions I know nothing about? I climbed myself out of low mmr into mid mmr since 6.1.0 and tunneling and camping may be bad there is no justification for ruining games right at the start. DoNt RuN yOuR mOuTh.

That's weird. I consider myself a good survivor. I have over 6k hours in the game and easily 5k of those are solo q, yet I am winning around 25% of my games.

Not sure what you mean with "MMR doing its thing" because I keep getting 100 hour survivors in my lobby, or even less and those hide their hours.

So it really is difficult to believe when someone says they have an almost 100% escape rate in solo q, and then say they mostly play killer.

You really misread things a lot no offence. Every other means 50% about. Thought tbf you also thought blight was one of the worst killer's to bait dh when he is the best by far.

What leads up to that tho? At what point do survs say "you know what? This game isn't worth it" I know after the 5th or 6th time getting tunneled in one night I genuinely don't care anymore if I get spotted and hooked only to get camped or tunneled off of hook I'm quitting the game

People always say this, Like I tunnel maybe 1 in 20 games in a super sweaty game. And guess what? No one dc's the sweaty game just when they get downed fast vs 0 gen regression blight with some of his middle of the ground add-ons. Sorry you suck and got downed in 20 seconds. That's what majority of my DC's are and I consider DCing myself everytime it happens early because the game is over and boring. They say iti's not worth it before there is no chance of being tunneled in my games XDXD

    1) they want to bully the killer, and found out they can’t bully the current killer

    Highly unlikely

    2) they have a rift challenge, and found out they can’t do this rift challenge with the current killer

    3) they have a rift challenge, and they already did as much as they could for the rift challenge in the current game

    Rift is definitely a problem.

    4) they don’t like the current killer, and they want a killer they like better

Nurse is a massive problem with all but the top 1% of players.

    5) the 1st chase with the killer was very short, and the survivor wants to ragequit out of frustration

Ragequits have always happened in every game, but the current state of the game is causing increased DCs and Ragequits, so you have to ask yourself why this is happening post 6.1.

    6) the survivor thinks they are better than the other survivors, and wants better teammates

Current MMR is a massive problem. It's putting too wide a range of survivors together.

    7) some else already DCed, or gave up early, and the survivor thinks the game is hopeless

This is just true. If someone gives up early the game pretty much is done. This is also a problem, where the developers can reset the lobby when someone DCs early.

    8) the game is being held hostage

    Another problem.

All but the ragequitting are problems the developers can fix.

) they don’t like the current killer, and they want a killer they like better

Nurse is a massive problem with all but the top 1% of players.

Thinking it's only nurse omega lol

  • I mean there would have to be a gameplay overhaul for the core idea of meta perks to shift.

NA Midwest and almost always killer incentive for a few hours in the evening and survivor incentive during the morning and afternoon. Don't know about super late/early hours as I'm out like a light by 10-11 most nights.

Quality of players also seems to follow this trend. Daytime is better survivors, worse killers and vice versa in the evenings. This is why I limit my survivor play to my days off so I can play during the day, and then on the evenings I play, I log into my killer roster.

I'm on NA midwest and play from 6pm-3am randomly. Past 12 seems to be random.

  • Huntress because they all proxy camp the entire game.

  • Maybe but I get on anywhere from 6pm to 3am and there is no consistency just mostly killer since unbreakable basekit was announced, not saying there is a correlation just what happened.

Actually making the yellow mori offering which lets you kill the last survivor in the game be base kit was a common request. This new system is just taking that further.

I'm actually looking forward to the new system, it'll speed up the cleanup portion of the game when nobody is standing, the survivors have for all practical purposes lost the match, and all that's left to do is hook the last dying survivors and maybe get a lone straggler if they stand back up. I have yet to see a game from the PTB where the killer hadn't obviously won the match when the Last Standing mori triggered.

For me the most fun is the end game slugfest vs an altruistic swf. And only twice ever have they been salty about it in the end game(both comp teams XD). Most of the time It's the most fun that can be had as it's all skill no gens no playing safe just all out skill from both sides. IMO this makes killer win faster if the are winning hard but takes away that fun end game for no reason I can think of. But it also gives base unbreakable which is just absurd especially paired with the real perk. Overall bad change.

  • I mean they already made blight, It's kinda hard to beat that in terms of gameplay for both sides. But I agree 85% of killers are boring or have something that feels unskillful to go against.

  • Yeah really can't tell if this is bait or not. Her slowdown is decent with her extremely boring rng traps and her chase isn't a thing. So no.

  • This is the only game I have play where I agree low elo hell exists. Unless you are god, nothing you do can make up for 3 players being non existent. Survivor in low elo is impossible alone, I genuinely recommend you find people via reddit or discord something to help get you out.

  • @Gandor said:

DH validation for killer back then is same (and for exactly the same reason) as survivor using DH right now. If you get killer with ping, you don't have DH. That's why I refuse to use the perk (well I play in EU so russians are likely to connect. Sometimes even middle-east. I presume this is much better for US).

Also the game is not in a good spot. 39% escape rate means it's killer's fiesta. Not a good spot to be in.

I play both sides, survivor more than killer actually lately. Those stats mean nothing stated by the dev that posted them directly(peanuts). The biggest problem with survivors is matchmaking. A combination between mmr being loosened for queue times and A smaller survivor pool than before meaning survivors are being backfilled instead of killers. On top of that a decent amount of games are played at low mmr where it's very killer sided due to the core functions of the game(killer is easier than survivor when survivors have no idea how to loop). On top of that survivors had extremely busted carry perks taken away from them and ONTOP Of that eruption is busted. This game is much closer to being balanced than it has ever been in it's life, solo queue just needs some information buffs. Other than that maps are extremely unbalanced and have terrible design in recent times, Med-kits are still op, nurse exists and blight has 2 maybe 3(if you count the 1 in a 5000 games that a good blight takes iri tag) that need to be nerfed. But these stats you are referring to have to real reflection on the state of the game, because we have no idea the parameters on them, just as the stats freak dev says. And against as I play more survivor more often than killer since 6.1.0, it's more teammates being inefficient than it is the power disparity in this game. Lets be honest if you are losing to wraith regardless of their build the team sucks or isn't trying. I've said what I want for the most part, but against blight and nurse are capable of being the killer version of sweaty good swfs. It's like damn my solo queue team can't stand up to the 1k hour blight, yeah not surprising, the 200 hour oni can't do anything to the 8k hour survivor team.

Lastly no dh validation was way worse than the interaction with a laggy killer now, I run dh every game and It's not even close.

  • BT,DH,WELL MAKE IT and Windows

  • Well I am 10 months sober from kicking gens, and pain res requires no effort. So If I am ever running gen regression it's pain res.

I see the same perks every single time on killers. Try to play more solo queue more often.

I have 56 games of solo queue and 36 killer games in the last month. If that isn't enough, then idc because ow2. Some people enjoy aura builds or even meme builds. I do most commonly see the meta gen kick perks, but it is way way better than it was before 6.1.0 on both sides. Killer's have way more option and builds they can go with than before, although most are slow down as believe it or not that is always going to be the best killer perks in the game until they adjust the game so much that they can be removed. And survivor's aren't relegated to their same op set of perks every single game to the point of being unable to switch off of them due to the sheer power difference. Survivors lost like what IW and DS right. Wow 2 perks. They got like 6-8 good value perks in return.

Edit: It's kind of irrelevant if you play solo queue or not now that I think about it. If you play swf you naturally have higher mmr and get killers playing more and more for the win.

  • @feffrey said:

Players who tunnel should outright get banned if not suspended its unsportsmanlike conduct and just a hostile gaming environment.

Those who tunnel do not care about the strat winning or losing they do it because they can and to ruin a players game.

It's fun when I can ruin another player game right ? Until they out it down and go elsewhere. I honestly did andvkinda just play once or twice a few weeks.

Now they're trying to address the tunneling camping issue but it's kinda too late now for a returning player they've made too many changes at that

What an incredibly biased opinion with literally no real though put into it. I tunnel very rarely as I don't really care that much, but sometimes I really feel like sweating for that 3-4k in a close game. You think I want to make that person feel bad? No. So many people are incredibly closed minded or have played very few other games in their lives. League" you can be shutdown in lane so completly that you are just waiting to die as you go back to lane now matter your skill level. Apex: you can hotdrop and die right off the bat and just like dbd it's a go next scenario. OW: the enemy team can get a rotation of ults going to the point that it's simply a stomp for most of the match. Are these scenario's unfun? Yes. Can the devs do there best to mitigate it without ruining the balance of the game? Yes.

What I am saying is that these very uninteractive moments happen in every game and 95% of the time there is no malicious intent behind it, it's just a drive to win. I do think camping and tunneling needs more work in this game, I really do. But your opinion is grossly encompassing and unfair to anybody with a competitive drive.

And with all of that said I don't tunnel because I like chase more than I like a 4k in this game. Chase is the only fun part about this game imo on both sides. If I happen to find you without finding anyone else you are getting chased, I would prefer you healed but Injured too as I can't just ignore you when I can't find anybody.

One last thing if I come back to first hook after getting a second hook as blight and see only the unhooked person, that is the healthy survivors fault for hiding not mine. If I see there scratch marks I'll follow but only because I can as blight.

  • @ArthurVeloso said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/349775/regarding-6-1-0

I agree with you. This last update sucks because I don't feel that, as a survivor main, I can run a funny build and get alive before the last gen is done. I mean, many killers are using a combo of regression perks, call of brine, overcharge, Pain Resonance, etc. As a result, I always feel forced to run a gen rush build to have the minimum opportunity to power up a gate and escape. Sometimes, even with a gen rush build it is not possible to do that because some teammates mess up (that's okay), and it is harder to lift them up and recover the damages done already.

To be honest, I miss so much using DS, Old Dead Hard, Resilience and Spine Chill. Damnit, it gives me goosebumps just to think about it. I could play bold, but now playing dbd feels like eating a chunky piece of beef without seasoning. It is like meh...

Decisive Strike is useless because 1.5 seconds is not enough time to reach a pallet or window, especially against nurse, blight, huntress, deathslingers, etc.

Dead Hard is meh. I loved to give a dash to reach a pallet (even though I mostly hit a wall LMAO) But, seriously, 0.5 seconds is so little time that if the killer has a 100 million ping, you are absolutely destroyed.

Self Care, for everything that is sacred in this world. In which universe self care was op? The dbd community constantly made jokes about how bad it was. (Self care Claudette lol) But, people still use because it is a starting perk.

Not to be rude, really. But your comment translates to: I can't run meme builds when killers run full meta now because they are not lagging behind as they were before and I really miss my old boring busted perks that were meta for 5 years. It was a meta shakeup because people were tired of seeing the same old perks EVERY SINGLE GAME. As much as people want to think nothing has changed the increased build diversity is there 100%. I quit this game from April until 6.1.0 because survivors were quite literally running the same 7 perks(max) every single game. I would call them bots with perks because I wasn't going against good players, I was going against bad players running carry perks. Although I would still win against these "bots" because I am playing blight and am capable of beating players in my mmr but way below my skill level. But imagine wraith or bubba or slinger or demo or anyone that wasn't spirit, blight and nurse. The killer had to be that much better than the survivor's and even more so the worse the killer they played. IW and DH being the most unskilled free perks on survivor side by miles.

Now I more often see sweat squads that actually know how to play the game, know how to play vs blight. Hell I went against a comp team a couple weeks ago and for the first time ever since playing blight said "Wow they are so good at w". This game is in a way better spot then it has ever been in it's history. Solo queue is lagging behind now, but as a solo queue player myself and from killer pov I would attribute it way more to bad players getting randomly backfilled into a game they have no right to be in than the lack of information that solo queue deserves.

And one last time I will mention how DH after validation was the most busted perk to exist for such a long period of time ever in this game. Not only did it start deleting killer powers instead of dodging them(victor being an auto kick, huntress hatches getting deleted instead of going through to a survivor on the other side), ping above even 50 started to become extremely annoying to play against. I play on 50 ping as killer, and I could finish a hit fully before dh kicks in and says no because they had 80 ping. Quite literally the most forgiving thing I have seen since playing this game.

As a side note I do consider full gen kicking meta to be way too good right now on killer side but mostly due to how busted eruption is. It promotes a hit and run tactic that I find disgustingly unskilled.

  • Excluding blights first three add-ons, they will never come close to a killer that is that strong and has counterplay. If you don't like blight understandable, but really the best part about blight is that he negates w for both sides. While there are time's to w that's something you learn with experience, no other killer makes you play the tile until you either outplay him or he outplays you. Demo might be the perfect middle of the pack character with good counterplay and an all encompassing kit, he is not good enough to keep up with good survivors even if the demo's skill matches them. Although I really wish blight was free so all could play him at least a bit. In a lot of games it's way harder to learn how to play against a character without learning them yourselves(league, OW). Blight is the one character in this game with so much to his kit that you would never truly understand him without playing him. Most people learn through their friends, which is actually very obvious as a lot of swfs will all wiggle or do the same types of plays without ever having anything else to use when that fails them. Or they think well this worked so I will keep doing it without really understanding why it worked. He is truly the most well designed killer and is strong.

  • I used to just let them do gens, but most of the time they want to farm and don't understand that I just want them to go. I don't want to waste time in a game the can't be lost no matter what. I'll get them out asap and go next myself. Half the time I just get off dbd if I get a dc.

Do you ever NOT victimize yourself as a Survivor on these forums? You're crying about sportsmanship while being bitter that Killers don't throw the game for you because YOUR teammate decided to do you dirty...

    no he doesn't

“Still a few kinks on both sides but 6.1.0 didn’t make anything…start happening”

Sorry but I couldn’t disagree more. They wrecked the fng game. Here’s the highlights:

Weakened key survivor perks (Iron Will, DS, Self Care). The supposed balance of weakened killer anti-gen perks had zero effect since they use other anti-gen perks.

    Strengthened killer in chase

    Strengthened Camping/Tunnelling

Reduced the survivor pool of good survivors

Introduced yet another high mobility killer

So… matchmaking is worse (hard to believe), killers are stronger, survivors are weaker. People complaining on these forums about solo queue aren’t making it up. It’s awful.

"Weakening key survivor perks" yes that was the point. Iron will was a crutch perk that if got value was free. There are many other things for survivors to use that's not self care for healing. DS did get a little too much, but other things in this game make up for it for the most part. On the flip side ALOT of other survivor perks are viable now. The only anti gen perk that is too much is eruption.

Yes they did strengthen killer in chase and guess what? Most of the changes only affect m1 killers, who are still weak in comparison to good survivors not even swfs. Blight and nurse got a meter in chase after a hit.

Camping/tunneling did get a indirect buff due to gen speeds, but tunneling is genuinely harder unless you get hooked in a complete dead zone. Well honestly that is without old DH factored in though.

They reduced the survivor pool of good survivors? They didn't do that, only a small portion of them left and that was due to not having a busted set of perks for the first time in the games history. Quite literally killer had it way worse than survivors do now a year ago(excluding bronze player equivalents who really don't represent this game in any way) unless you played blight or nurse.

And Wesker. High mobility? I would not call him high mobility whatsoever. Blight, Billy and nurse. That is high mobility, Wesker has mid mobility if I am being generous.

Matchmaking and solo queue are the biggest issues in this game right now. Solo queue can start with the action indicator buff. But when I play survivor and lose hard it's usually because of bad players getting filled into my games not because it felt like the killer was that oppressive. The only killer's that felt impossible to deal with were nurse and iri tag blight.

So what does the game actually need right now? Map balance, matchmaking improvements or at least a checkmark that say let me wait for as long as it takes to get a good match with me and solo queue information improvements.

  • It's a survivor sided map because of the gen split. But definitely one of my favorites to play on for the slippery collision, survivors typically have no idea what going on in the table/snow pile area vs blight.

Do you hook all 4 and get it over with or do you let them reset?

Feels like a lose lose situation imo. When i hook all 4 i feel bad and when i let survivors reset it usually turns into a farming game and i really dont like those.

I used to just let the survivor's do the gens and leave if someone gave up, now I just kill them as fast as possible. If I'm winning that hard mmr isn't working that night which means games won't be fun which means I'm ending asap and alt+f4ing.

but remove the sound effect, so that the killer has to look for them too

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a survivor DC or give up on hook when the survivors are winning. It makes no sense why they would. If it happens, maybe they have to quit/leave because something is happening offline.

I've seen from both sides, your giving them too much credit.

This is mostly a result of survivor fatigue with an oppressive game balance and being fed up with seeing the same crap over and over.

Tunnelled again, Wesker again, Anti-gen Legion again, Franklins/Hoarder Pinhead again, Ridiculous Blight hits again, Huntress aiming at hook again, 2 minute run and no gens done again, running into a closet instead of vaulting again, hit by silent zombie around a corner again, Camping bubba again… the list is almost endless.

I think many survivors have hit a limit and they’re not willing to suffer more BS… they just check out. The game has become so unfun for the most part that these are mostly survivors who are playing because they still love the game but they can’t take the excessive BS, so they limit the suffering by checking out when they hit the limit rather than quit the game altogether.

e.g lets say in the past i loved the game when it was 90% fun and 10% BS. Let’s say my theoretical limit to make me quit playing a game altogether is 40% BS. The game is currently at 50% BS. So I’m almost always near my limit for what I’ll tolerate while I’m playing… I take as much fun as I can from a given match and then when it crosses a threshold, I leave. I think that’s going on….

Play something else. I've always been a killer main, yet I play more survivor than killer now. There are still a few kinks on both sides, but 6.1.0 didn't make anything you mentioned start happening. Not trying to be rude, but you are not getting anything positive from this game anymore so just stop.

If you choose to believe the worst then believe the worst, nobody here can help you with that. I say it because I mean it. If i say absolutely nothing, it generally means you played badly because I will certainly say WP even if you kicked my ass or maybe we had an even fight.

Christ people are so desperate to make something out of nothing.

At least half the posts on this forum are bait. Either for views and upvotes( who cares it's a dbd forum?) or they get a kick out of the reaction(also weird can't understand it).

Why do people do this? What's wrong with you? Get some help.

I mean the killer can play for 8 hooks, 0 kills with no gen regression and play exceptionally well. On the other hand I can go against 2 good survivors and 2 people who weighed them down immensely. That might be a 4 gen game due to how fast the 2 bad survivors played, but the 2 good ones could have played amazing. It's situational.
