What killers are much more difficult to learn? Im definetly interested. Huntress requires a lot of skill to master, that I can agree with. Then theres killers that require strategy. Blight, Deathslinger, sure. Billy also perhaps. But definetly easier to play than Nurse.

Huh? Nurse may have the highest skill floor but nurses skill ceiling doesn't even touch blights skill ceiling in any world. You would have to be on that major copium for that. Blight beats nurse in terms of mechanics, strategy, potential counterplay vs blight and how to counter that and counter the counter to that counter. Nurses counter play is just 50/50 all the way but in reality the nurse should just blink near you then blink on top of you at 85% of tiles. Blight is the pinnacle of killer in every way and people that think nurse is really that hard have never played an actually difficult game to master unlike dbd. Again if you want to talk skill floor nurse takes the cake, but that takes like 4 hours if you are competent at video games to start stomping majority of lobbies.

I'm also a blight main, and some blight or nurse mains tunnel from 5 gens even with 3 -4 regression perks. try to get that win streak with another killer that is not blight/nurse/spirit.

Why would I play killers where the individual survivors control the flow of the game? Why would I not play blight when he counters the worst part of the game for killer? If you get a 30 win streak on bubba or nemesis or billy the survivors simply played bad. The issue with 85% of the killers in this game is that they have little skill expression and there is never a scenario where both sides can outplay the other at the same time. Once you go blight everything else is boring.

  • 3K with hatch is a 100% win for killer. If they are slugging for 4k make them wait. If you are both hiding then someone should do something because you are holding the game hostage at that point and wasting everyones time. I really don't know how some survivors have the patients to just sit in a locker while bypassing the afk system every so often. It's a rarity that happens to me but geez don't do that.

I’ve got 1k hours in blight and I will admit that I do not run into many survivors that can’t loop blight well or know his counterplay. Most games are ended at 2-4 gens left. To try and even it out, I’ll run only shadowborn and BBQ.

The issue isn’t blight, as he has a lot of counterplay, but rather it’s that survivors won’t learn his counterplay. You cannot just hold W or loop him like normal on most tiles.

Now a good nurse… yea it’s prolly ggs 90% of the time. 🫡

I think the issue is that it's hard to learn Blights counter play without outside influence and most survivors won't put in the effort for it even if they are struggling against blight a lot. At the very least everyone should know not to shift w but if they want to learn more than that they would have to get tips from friends, watch Lilith or even play blight themselves. I truly wish more survivors knew how to play vs blight well, I have only run into 5 survivors ever who I would consider amazing playing against blight. It disappoints me running into 2-5k hour players who just shift w and pre throw, when the two best players have had under 2k hours. Although hours are a little over rated in this games populace.

It's sad to see how many people will defend a loophole to quit but without taking the penalty.

    Very very sad.

  • I really don't get the point of these posts when half the people are going to come in here defending them. I agree with you by the way but these players that have mostly played dbd for their multiplayer experience just can't grasp not being able to get out of a game whenever they want even if it makes that game pointless.

  • @proxy_taxfraud said:

Notice how it's predominantly survivors complaining about killers.

Being able to stack up 12 health states, predropping every pallet while rushing gens with BNP & Prove Thyself, always knowing where the killer is with Fogwise is totally normal though.

For the 100th time we're just gonna cry to nerf everything a killer can have so that killers stop playing again or resort to the dirtiest tactics available. Surely that won't circle around into the next best worst meta.

At this point I am convinced that the healthiest move possible for this game's balance is to disable all perks without exception for a Month and draw actual conclusions from the resulting data.

Watch me get laughed at tho because read the first line of this post.

I don't think it's the power level though. It's the fact that the gen kick meta is boring and makes the game less interactive. I get no complains ever in post game even though I am playing blight. The earliest death is hook 7 and most of my chases are from healthy. It's way more fun to go against a strong interactive killer playing in a more interactive manor than a weak non-interactive killer running a non-interactive build.

    e.png

    red - gens

    Triangle - killer path

circle - area of distance from gens until the killer drops chase

    Square - the map

This describes how like 30% of killer players play right now, that is boring. Sure you don't have to use eruption that way, but a lot of killers do.

    Really?

I've tried it in the custom match against bots.

Before, it looked like a lawnmower.

Now, it's one hit every second or so. Kind of pointless.

I don't use mad grit very often but I know if you hit fast enough most of the animations won't play.

I feel you, but at the same time, I think one major issue might be matchmaking being super lenient. For instance, this was my second game ever as Clown :

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/8R5MYRW4DG4M/lobby-of-doom-part-2.png

(At least they were super nice, both during and after the game, which is fortunately common enough for me. I'm also pretty sure the Nea gave me the kill, since I was patrolling the gate on The Game and she had all the time in the world to find hatch)

I think matchmaking being lenient is the first thing to adress to deal with squad SWFs without harming casual SWFs that aren't that good. Because if a SWF really is very good, escapes a lot more than they would if they were not in a group, then logically matchmaking takes care of that and puts them in front of killers who can handle them.

The problem is not the SWF (BM notwithstanding), it's the fact that they're matched with killers who are not ready to handle them.

When I SWF with my friend, we're chatting about other stuff, and we die like 70% of the time. We're not a danger to anyone, so a better matchmaking would not affect us negatively. However, if Mark, Tim and Jen are a tight team that have designated roles and call out killer position at all time, have 3E and 4Es often and still find time to gloat at the gate, then clearly they we can skip a couple of mmr levels and put them directly in front of killers that are more experienced than the ones they're facing.

Maybe make gaining mmr cumulative, and if you're on a winstreak you win increasingly more mmr ?

That way, there is no need to be bulk nerfs to SWF, only buffs to average and lower tier killers so that they can compete on higher mmr brackets. Hopefully, buffs directly at their power and not in sheer numbers, so that it becomes more interesting. I'd love for the Clown's yellow bottles to be easier to use, or for Nemesis's zombies to finally have a working AI or collision failsafes when they're glitched into a bush.

    Anyway.

    Food for thought !

I really wish there was a button to wait for a more accurate match. I know most people wouldn't click it even high level swfs who win most games, but I would. Although my big issue with that is it would probably just result in squads running 4 med-kits with anti-hems instead of their skill level actually improving too much. I've been gloating in forums for the past month about 12:00-4AM on NA having pretty accurate matches but all of a sudden I guess due to Christmas break, I feel myself going against players not up to me. So that check box for accurate matches would make me play more for sure.

    Nah.

That's a horrible idea, sorry. At least you aren't as bad as the guy who wanted anyone who DC's to be hardware banned.

I mean you always defend DCing being unpunished but don't explain. My argument is that it's either a game over or a insta loss for one side. It ruins the game.

  • @Pulsar said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3303337#Comment_3303337

If the bots are actually good, it shouldn't matter if someone leaves.

Even if they aren't, it's still better to have 2 teammates and a bot than just 2 teammates.

But it's even better to give harsher punishments for people who serial DC.

within a 1 week time period

    1 dc - 5 min

    2 dc - 30 min

    3 dc - 1 hour

    4 dc - one week

If it's a dbd problem then yeah the penalty's can be lowered like normal when they are happening, but if it's a hardware/internet problem you shouldn't be playing an online multiplayer game like this in the first place.

Should the bots replace DC's on top of that? Yeah there is no downside only potential upsides but they cannot supplement actual penalty.

  • @Pulsar said:

Replace them with bots and then remove the penalty.

Keeps everyone happy. Nobody has to play a game they aren't enjoying, Killers don't lose BP and Survivors don't instantly lose. Oh, but people who play in a toxic way looking for reactions get cucked.

I care about DC's because the game is over when a survivor leave, if a bot gets added in it's place I will still hard win that game. DC's cannot be so minuscule in a game where a player leaving so heavily affects the outcome. I don't care about bp either and it's not like I am some 2k hour vet, I have 800 hours where 200 is probably afk and I really don't have much to spend bp on anymore. It's fine in cod where one less body means nothing, it's not ok in dbd how do people not understand this?

  • Prepare for the flood of people defending giving up on hook/DC's like they know what they are talking about.

  • @Monlyth said:

In most PvP games, if you don't have any teammates who need you, you can concede the match at any time and that's that. You lose, your opponent wins, end of story.

But the Killer not only won't get any points from the match but receives a matchmaking penalty for conceding? Why should the Killer have to put the survivors' fun before their own?

Why should either side be able to dc without penalty. I cannot stand that survivors can just get out of the match whenever they want for free ruining the game and half the people on this forum defend this bhvr because they don't know better. At least on killer it really doesn't affect anyone but the killer I guess, but one survivor DC's and that game is just doing the works for the remaining players until it's over.

Freddy would be the only real rework, but I'd say Doctor and Leatherface are both acceptable to refer to as reworks too.

I think things like the Haddonfield and RPD reworks count, too, they ended up pretty significantly different.

True, I wasn't thinking with maps in mind at the time even though I started by talking about a map. I hope real reworks like those happen more often, though I was disappointed with Haddonfield a bit for both sides as I was kinda hoping it would have more loops and less "can the killer I am playing counter these houses and windows with their power". It's like a win in champ select type thing on that map, although I guess if you strictly play for 3 gens and get lucky that's pretty gross too.

    1. Why should I not play blight in this game that has so little skill expression for most things.
    2. Why should I tunnel when I either get survivors who can match me or survivors can't beat me on fractured cowshed with 4 med-kits. Typically I play at 12:00 to 4:00 AM where people can actually match me consistently whether it's due to builds or their skill(rare). But for the past couple days I have been playing earlier and it's just so boring, why would I ever tunnel these survivors way below my skill threshold?

It's either I play at the right time where mmr can match me with players who can actually match me or against players who are running all the good stuff who are nowhere close to my skill. If you are playing a m1 killers all the power to you the survivors quite literally dictate your skill expression and potential to win. Regardless of the perks you are running on wraith, it's the survivors who let you win due to their own skill. Although some maps can change this like swamp and any other map with super close 3 gens. Blight, Wesker and Huntress are the 3 killers I can think of where both sides have an opportunity to outplay the other at the same time in chase(I know incredible).

My biggest issue with dbd is that the best strats on both sides have way less skill expression than normal gameplay, especially on the survivor side. At least when a killer tunnels you, you can out play them if you make it to a tile. But if a survivor decides they want to pre-drop the entire map on fractured cow-shed there really isn't much you can do even on blight, even the filler tiles are too safe. Survivors complain about tunneling and camping which is boring and not very skillful but it goes both ways. It's why comp will never go anywhere in this game, the most efficient strats are always the most boring.

  • I don't think comp can be interesting when survivors just pre throw and hold w. Killers just tunnel the first survivor hooked out of the game. The comp teams I have gone against play the same way, but with builds that would never be allowed. Not to mention they get salty at any killer contesting them whatsoever.

  • The dbd definition of rework is so pitiful. I don't think the door and window swap on the main building can be considered 1/10 a rework, the legion and ghost face buffs were definitely not reworks. Doctor is probably the only real rework ever.

  • I kinda wish builds weren't so meaningful in this game. It's hard to tell how good the team I am going against is when they are running quad med-kits and full meta. Especially when they start pre-throwing, a bot could preform game play like that too bad it's such a good strat on most maps.

  • @Xendritch said:

I mean we really just need bots to replace DCer's and that's probably all that can be done for soloQ as a whole besides the new info symbols. The rest of the problems is user error, you can't fix stupid and honestly if soloQ is strong enough for bad players to win that's probably too strong.

Sure but also repeated Dc's or suicides should result in week long suspensions leading up to a perma ban. This game is way too lenient in that regard. And yet people defend it so readily.

RPD is such an underrated map for killer. Especially on blight. I have not lost a game on RPD yet.

East wing is free, west wing can be a little trouble but nothing hard. Also was watching a lilith vod, are you ratbastardjr?

  • I typically assume they are not actually streaming and that's it. I have also never actually seen an amazing ttv but that's just dbd.

  • Wait, you actually managed to make haddie look good. If only they can make her model look just as good.

  • I fell like for 95% of killers a specific map would have to me made for it. The survivor has absolutely no reason not to just pre throw everything.

  • The scream is global though all it tells you is a survivor is on any gen in the map. The reasoning for the revert is weird because it works with dms again but that doesn't matter since it's really not that good when compared to something like eruption call of brine overcharge. It's really on good on mobility killers as well.

  • Overall I have heard most killers say the same thing over time.

  • @Seraphor said:

So then use the word 'chase' instead.

There's no such thing as 'anti-chase' powers.

Not really. Your definition of looping is not running tiles which most people are referring to when they talk about anti loop, such as long walls and short walls.

  • Personally I don't like it because it denies chases. It's like would you rather me run slow down instead of aura reading? In terms of power level it's really not deserving of a nerf. If it ever becomes used often/meta killers will just stack slow down more than they do now. I use slow down rarely and if I do it's pain res about 1 in 4 games, that will change to 100% of games if I start seeing 2 plus distortions every match.

  • @Blink0925 said:

Half of what people say is entitlement is not.

Example, I made a post earlier expressing my frustrations about how killers have been jerks to me all day. I was trying to do the Outbreak Breakout achievement, I changed my name toe Read My Bio and explained what I was trying to do. Killers would read the bio, and then proceed to tunnel and camp me out. They knew I was going for an achievement, and they decided to be rude. Now, they dont have to help me thats not the issue. The issue is that they deliberately went out of their way to make it harder on me. I made a post about it and some one said I was entitled. I dont see how expressing my frustration is entitlement.

And I am sick and tired of this community attacking one another for their opinions and beliefs. Never have I seen a community so divided. Its time some one stands up for those simply just expressing their opinions and frustration.

Tunneling is not cool. Yes, a strategy, that doesnt mean its fun or right. Camping is boring. I mean just imagine sitting on a hook for two minutes. Everyone says all the time the most fun part of the game is the chases between killer and survivor, how are you gonna get chases if your being camped? Everyone wants to say that if you DC then you ruin the fun for everyone else, yet will sit here and defend camping and tunneling. How is that fun? One survivor sits on hook while the other 3 do gens, if they are smart. Everyone says that doing gens are boring. Just because some one DCs because they dont want to go against a camping tunneling killer, does not make them entitled. They have every right to have fun as anyone else and if they dont like something, they dont have to go through it.

"Oh, but when you DC you ruin it for everyone else." OK, so I am supposed to ruin my experience at the expense of your experience? How is that fair? If people want to camp and tunnel, thats fine, thats their choice. If people want to DC and go next, that is also their choice.

And just because you got lucky with map RNG and ran to a pallet and pre threw it a hundred times doesnt mean youre good. No one loops anymore, they just hold w to the next pallet. To no fault of their own, look at the new maps that keep coming out they were designed that way.

Its time for us as a community to stop invalidating the experiences and feelings of others. Let them be mad upset happy angry whatever. Because we as a community dont care about the choices that people make in game, and we will defend those choices, but we sure as hell care when they express their feelings.

And its not right. "Its just a game" Yeah maybe to some people it is. But to others its not. I lost my mother to COVID last year and this game is the only thing that helped me through because it was my escape from life. It was and is more than a game to me. And I reserve the right to express my feelings and opinions on it if I so choose to.

And I know that people are going to comment saying that no one is stopping you from expressing your feelings, well maybe not you but as a community you are. I myself and my friends do not feel safe expressing that we dont like the way some one played for fear of the division it creates. Just because we didnt like the way they played, doesnt make us entitled. We just didnt like how they played. It shouldnt be this way for something thats "just a game." And yes, there are some entitled people out there that are entitled, most people are just tired of not being able to express their opinion.

Tunneling and camping needs to be addressed but so does DCing.

What if we fix all his exploits (j flick, lag flick, hug tech, shoulder flick, 180 flick, moonrush), cap his maximum turn rate while attacking in rush to like 30-45°, and then make him 4.4m/s? I think that'd do miles of good to make him a bit more normal and less nurse tier.

Tell me you don't know anything about blight without telling me you don't know anything about blight.

    J-flick is removed

    lag flick is removed

Shoulder flick isn't a bug nor an exploit, it's intentional design

180 isn't an exploit it's just pre turning super early and using his lack of collision during the attack phase of a lethal rush to turn that much. Any time you get hit by a max range 180 it's your fault as the survivor.

So basically you are saying fix the hug tech which sure you can have that opinion but it won't happen. But you want to remove basic 90's? Are you ok?

How can you complain about something you don't really know about and probably don't know how to play against?

  • @Emeal said:

If you can loop the average Killer for 3 gens, then the matchmaking that brought you together isn't very fair.

You expect the Killer to be Thankful? You pretty much dragged them on for over half the game.

What do you expect of Killers here?

When I was a baby killer, getting better was my main priority. So when I actually ran into a good survivor who isn't just pre-throwing their heart out I would chase till I lose, I guess that stands true today as well. Although that survivor is 1 in 100 minimum these days.

  • Also guys looping may have been running around in a circle back in the day, but the term definitely includes all parts of chase now.

  • Most killers have some form of anti loop, it's just does it deny all game play. It's why me and other people in this thread think of Blight, Wesker and Oni as peak killer. They have Anti-loop that does not guarantee a loop is dead, they have mobility and they have just as much control in chase as a survivor. The issue with any m1 killer is that, it's up to the survivor to go to down and make a mistake which does not work in this game and is boring for both party's unless you like baby mode.

  • I am definitely not convinced it happens as much as people say. Maybe my survivor mmr is too low, I doubt I hit the soft cap with a 50% escape rate over 100 games. But in all those games I got hard tunneled once. I got proxy camped way more than anything else 90% of them being huntress shocker and then like one demo.

  • Dh works, it's whatever the server registers first. Either you have bad ping or you have bag ping or your bad. pick one. But even if the killer has bad ping just predict when the hit will happen at a pallet(like you are supposed to) and it will be fine.

  • Never seen an amazing console survivor in all my time. Although the most meta shift+w teams are console. Believe it or not running full meta plus 4 styptic stacked medkits doesn't mean your good XD. So essentially, PC players contribute the most important thing to the game.

  • @HugTechLover said:

Some killers on here loaattthh survivors that can loop. Many times I’ll run a killer forever and when I finally get downed, it’s head shakes, hit on hook, nodders, or slugged till last second then hooked. I don’t teabag, point, etc. My buddies that can’t really loop well rarely receive the same treatment from that killer.

I’m not upset, just find it funny at times. You shake your head at me after losing 2-3 gens to the chase.. 😂

P.S; I am a killer main, and I loveeee a good survivor. 10 second chases are no fun. The best looper usually gets to have hatch.

Why would I loath something so rare? Everyone who does is playing a terrible killer or not good at the role in general.

    • circle of healing / shadowstep / kindred
    • borrowed time / circle of healing / feather light
    • bond / open handed / kindred

It amazes me that 90% of the people who have 1k hours can't even be considered a threat to me, It seems the average player who picks up dbd is not adept at video games.

You can keep living in that world of yours where you think that Blight takes more skill.

Why should I tell you why it wasn't removed yet? I am not the dev, you are giving me nonsense questions.

Keep abusing the exploit and busted addons on your easy killer. :D

You came here first, talking about how great your killer is when NOBODY asked.

People like you who abuse bugs should be permanently banned from the game.

Yeah, pretty much what I thought. There's no point in being on the forums if this how you talk. You are quite likely bad at this game so I guess I shouldn't really be concerned with your opinion.

  • I want a full rework of the character, not a bhvr rework where they do an add-on pass and change 1-2 things base kit(what a joke rework). She should have a different power entirely.

Yep you are right I will ignore everything you said because you literally said that a " Blight player needs to know how to exploit a bug ".

For me you are done. Typical delusional Blight player, I know another player that once said, removing hug tech will buff blight, I bet you´re a fan.

I guess it depends in what way. Playing most tiles in the game, it's less efficient. It does genuinely save rushes in other places that lead to hits though. The hug tech is simply not fast enough to get a hit on a survivor that is paying attention, although small flat tiles like the tank treads on MacMillan its the only way to play them. I don't know what the point making your first comment if you weren't prepared to actually converse was. Was it just to provoke me on the dbd forums lol. Tell me why hasn't the hug tech been removed yet? It's been 8 months since Mandy made the comment and no dev has commented on it, it probably won't get removed. Like I get it, your stuck in the past playing your clunky abusable character when blight just allows for more skill expression.

  • You know this is probably a take most people won't agree with.

Blight is literally modern day billy.

    -High mobility

-Highest skill expression for both sides

    -A few busted add-ons

Probably like quite a lot of billy players, I will drop this game if they billy blight. Nerf his op add-ons it's fine. But his base kit is the peak killer design of this game and no other killer will ever reach it. My god if they managed to make blight as clunky as current billy, that would be truly impressive. Omg it'll probably happen before nurse gets full reworked.

  • @AverageKateMain said:

Okay I'm confused by this rant. You're saying people who swf are bringing up solo as a way to buff swf inadvertently? You are aware 5% of people actually swf and the 95% of people are those who consistently solo. This take is very weird to me cause you listed arbitrary perks like Resurgence when that perk requires other perks to be good.

Suggesting people to run perks to counter 1 aspect of he game that's problematic is quite literally why we have the boring meta we have today. You listed Exponential as a counter when that perk isn't good with how much set up you require and assumes the killer won't just snuff the boon immediately. Plus it's rarely in shrine to even consider as a viable perk to obtain.

They've been giving both sides changes to make games less painful. Are you intentionally ignoring the killer changes just to focus on survivor ones? Cause that's not arguing with good faith. Also let's not say survivor Gen rush builds are op as if killers aren't running full slowdown.

I don't want to be a jerk but it sounds like you had a bad couple of matches and instead of logging off and doing something that won tilt you, came to the forums to rant

Ok op's post is wrong and emotional. But 95% is no where near the right number. It's probably uncommon to not have at least a 2 man in a game. I could be disconnected after playing blight and playing late at night where mmr actually works for me for a long time now, but I am positive that 2 man and up swfs account for 30 -40% of games played.

  • Wesker is finally another killer that can some what counter W and doesn't force it. So success for me.

  • @iamhnf said:

Just wondering what are your thoughts and why would the 2nd last survivor that gets down loves to snitch on the last survivor when a killer tries to secure 4 kills (excluding those when the last survivor does nothing the whole game or sabotaging own teammates)?

I am back to playing killer for the most part against, and this rarely happens to me except when the person who gets ratted out has not been chased or hooked once. For me and how I feel about this game, that's an absolute travesty and I will chase the person who gets ratted out. At that point I can only assume they were not actually playing and were looking to get hatch from the beginning. Maybe this is a common thing for other people though, this is 1 in 50 games for me personally.

Bro you think hug tech exploit is part of his skill ceiling 💀

But I get it, you are a blight main you can't stand that there is a harder killer than yours.. :)

Keep using Blights busted addons and his exploit and thinking that he is harder. :D

Continue to ignore everything I said, it's definitely my biased that has taken over my thinking. His add-ons don't affect his skill ceiling. You can learn every way to play every single tile and blight will have a indefinite amount more because of map rng, look at the giant list of things I could think of off the top of my head to be good at blight. While the guy I argued with just said "curves" good jobs guys you got muscle memory!!! I also said billy was mechanically harder and blights techs were relatively easy to learn, but blight requires infinitely more knowledge and decision making than billy does. But yeah blight being a better killer than billy definitely affects his skill ceiling, I guess doctor is hard these days xd! Give me real actually thought out explanations that compare to what I said, I'll wait.

I've played both and from experience blight is easy asf as soon as you get familiar with bump logic. A blight with good bump logic shuts down most tiles and guarantees hits. Takes maybe 100 hours to get it down max. And with that and A decent build with maybe 2 slowdowns you'll 4k most pub matches.

Last time I will converse with you on this. Blight has a higher skill ceiling. Billy has slightly higher mechanical skill but blight requires infinitely more knowledge than billy. Him being more powerful doesn't lower his skill ceiling.

  • The biggest reason I never played billy much before maining blight is he feels clunky and has clunky animations. I might be alone in the but I could never get passed it. Although I never picked my killers off of power level.

Him being weaker does in fact make him harder. Blight is an S tier with busted add-ons and though there is some prediction in his power usage Billy is almost all predictions. When you play Billy you have to learn the survivors you're playing against and adapt your playstyle accordingly. Blight has five bumps. If a survivor does something you don't expect you have bumps to correct for it. And if not once they recharge you have 10 times the traversal power of Billy and can easily cut off other tiles and catch up.

You have to deal with survivors being able to W key anytime you put up your saw unless you predict it. You have to deal with survivors being able to abuse their smaller hitbox while crouching to avoid getting curved entirely (something blight doesn't have to deal with thanks to shoulder tech). You have to deal with the unique pathing of survivors that can completely negate your power. You have to either hold your saw or curve wide to predict survivor's peeling out on you. You have to manage your overheat and know when to drop your saw and M1 a survivor. You have to know all his mechanics including but not limited to, s curves, 90 curves, 180 curves, round the back curves, and 360 curves. And know how to pull all of them off consistently to catch aware survivor's off guard. Because he is so weak you have to know very intrinsically when to leave Chase with a survivor, for instance when a survivor is pre-dropping pallets or running to a tile that will take too much time to deal with. Going back to predictions You have to predict survivor pathing almost perfectly as once you curve you can only barely correct yourself.

Billy is the hardest to master killer in the game by a long shot. Even an average blight can 4k most games with just bump logic. In order to be that consistent with Billy you have to have mastered him. This is exactly why nobody plays him and the ones who do are either hot garbage or some of the best in the game. There's also a reason a lot of Billy players who have mastered Billy are some of the best killers in the game. A lot of us also play only and blight because they are very similar. Both of which are way stronger

You are mistaking how hard it is to 4k for his skill cap. His op add-ons can make him easier but it doesn't reduce his max skill potential unless you run them, even then though iri tag is the highest skill add-on in the game. People have mastered billy and no one has mastered blight. I gave you a large list of things to learn on blight, you said reading and curves. Massive knowledge diff between these killers.
