  • For me she's fun and pretty easy to play, but I don't understand how her red add-ons works.

  • I really think high rank killers quitted playing for some reason since devs implemented the new MMR.

I have no idea. I know that I've played against people from Brazil, South Africa and Canada before.

Maybe someone from your server invited them so they could play on your server as well. I played with someone from Australia. I always had lag when he invited me. If I invited him, it was him who had the lag. That's my experience.

  • Can you get Chinese players if you are not from Asia? I mean, there are servers for EU, Asia...etc. Right?

You get used to it. I think I've picked up how to call someone a 'tunneling noob' in Afrikaans, Japanese, Russian, French (well, probably French Canadian), German, Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish.

    Killer hate knows no borders!

    I don't mind them.

I was insulted in chat by a player and another backed me up. Was playing on the dreaded Haddonfield Map as Oni....already that is a recipe for a instant loss. I was being looped left and right getting hits and the occasional hook but nothing great.

They got all Gens done and prepped both doors at 99 (a strat I really don't like the doors should begin regressing slowly at first and then quickly speed up until a cap is hit) but I knocked down a survivor and picked them up to carry to a hook that was right by the door well someone decided to Sabo the hook so I dropped her, they open the door and decide to try to be greedy and body block the one I dropped. I knocked them all to injured state and slugged another one so I pick her up and carry her to a far off hook.

I was thinking welp that's a 1k game because the test will heal the other slug and they will escape. They DIDN'T! They decide to farm points off me by healing the slug to full (which they didn't) as I ran back I slug each of them bu the exit gate and hook a 2nd one getting a 2k match because the survivors got greedy.

In EGC I was told to go slit my wrist on a rusty blade, personally I had worst insults to me, but the other that escaped told them to STFU and that they had a fun game and it was their fault they lost 2 survivors vs just 1

The truth is you are hated just because you have played as killer. It's something odd to get hate as survivor. It happened to me but only few times. As killer, I received a lot of hate messages even if I'm not tunneling. I camp only in EGC if I didn't had enough fun the whole match.

Can either of your submit any tangible proof? Uncut video of these 50 games maybe? Screenshots even? Anything at all other than just "yeah I said so"? Because I mean if that's all the proof we need to make a claim, well dude, I'll tell you a secret.. I'm actually Elvis Presley. And you have to believe me because I said so. I can't give you proof, but I said so. So it's fact.

For what? Bhvr won't ban them if you are talking about report. For that they implemented censorship. It's funny that you really think I'm not playing chill. I won't even bother playing killer if I'm not playing for fun or my challenges. I'm not in a competition here to sweat how some of you do. I don't gain nothing.

  • @Fuzzels said:

I genuinely enjoy it. A lot. I don't really believe it's as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be. Yes there are definitely some annoying things to deal with but they don't ruin the game. i don't need to 4k every game to have fun. I don't need to worry about my mmr to have fun. I don't need to care about a survivor tbagging at an exit gate and take it as the worst insult ever known.

Contrary to popular belief, not every survivor uses all the meta perks, there's not a constant stream of 4 stacks sweating as hard as they possibly can, and most survivors are not out to get you. They just want a fun and interactive game too. That's not to say you won't occasionally get an angry doorknob of a person who spews some horrible things at you in chat, but unless you can show me solid proof of it happening literally every game, I can't and refuse to believe any claim saying its happening all the time to them.

And if a survivor DOES tbag, point, flashlight click.. whatever it is. Dude, it's in good fun. Not every single person does it to be annoying or to upset you. And it's also not just a you thing. It's not personal. So don't take it as such.

You are wrong. They will insult you in chat for nothing. Of course I never talk to them. I have better things to do. I would say 90% of them (clicky clicky and teabaggers) will talk ######### things in chat. Even if they escape or die. No exceptions.

  • And why are you talking about that guy? I have no idea why you people likes him. He's very disagreeable.

  • No. They are boring and sad people that needs desperately attention.

  • You should add to savior stun by head on. I like your ideas.

  • Because they are just stupid thinking they are good using second chance perks. That's why.

  • Wait, it's not possible anymore? :(

  • Demand? Where do you think you are? Demand your teammates to cleanse totems.

Hii everyone, I'm new to this whole forum thing so please treat me nicely! :D

I came here today to tell all of you killer mains out there that I appreciate you very much.

I usually main survivor only because it's always stressful to play killer even though I really really want to so I congratulate any of you that continue to still do so.

Today, I felt like playing pinhead for some reason so I did. I didn't run any meta perks because I'm here to have fun, not sweat. You can tell how that game probably went, but if not, gens basically popped everywhere even with pressure applied. Anyways, I'm not here to complain about that because frankly I expected it and don't really mind. What I want to point out is the toxicity I'm observing as killer from survivors.

I got absolutely DEMOLISHED by the survivors in the endgame chat and it was because I got ONE kill on their friend and I don't see why it's that serious when I did not tunnel/ proxy camp until endgame seeing as there was nothing else for me to do at that point when they were all hovering around. It's cool though, just get into another match and continue on.

Now survivors, I know there are killers that may do the same thing, it's not just one sided. From now on, I think everyone should play their part and have a positive mindset! It's not just what the Devs do, but the community plays a huge part in the health of this game too. :D

Oh yeah, I hope everyone is having a very amazing and wonderful day today! <3

That's the killer experience. Most of time I'm insulted in chat. You should play more killer. It's fun. Joke.

That was true before the invention of online gaming and eSports. To me, competitive gaming and fun don't mix.

When I hear competitive I'm thinking about a prize lol

Yeah but it can be hard to have real fun in an online setting sometimes.

I want a survival horror experience as survivor where I flee for my life from a scary killer and death is almost guaranteed making real survival horror, usually I get sorry killer gets looped all game and I sit on gens, run everywhere because I don't have to hide, and then walk out the open door when ready. If I do die then everyone pisses and moans about how the team failed ugh. I'm not that good of a survivor I shouldn't survive as often as I do.

When I play killer I want to recreate Friday the 13th/Halloween chase a bunch of fearful survivors around a map, scare the hell out of them. What I often get is BM guy clickity click while he runs 6 times around the same rock, then DC's or suicides on hook if you do catch him followed by post game sore loser/bad winner meltdown.

The game when played online caters to those who want to win a PVP competition not recreate and immersive horror experience. That's why I wish there was a solo play mode custom game with bots.

I don't hate DBD, I hate the DBD player base because I hate online PVP, its the bastion of sore loser'ism.

It's true. It's hard to have fun, but when you have it feels nice.

  • I don't know why you see this game as "lose and win". Games are not about winning. Games were created for fun. We should remember that.

  • Both. If they will ban you for DC I don't see the point to have a DC button. And also, as solo survivor you are also "banned" if your baby teammates DC. As killer, you may not have the chance to do your challenge if they rage quit.

  • Trickster op? Did you tried him at least? Play as trickster and see how many hooks and kills you get. Play more matches. Only trickster. Then come here with your conclusion.

  • I don't care about that. Even if I die, but I had fun I won. I remember a fun game when I said gg to a nurse even if I died and she was very mad. No gg back. I wasn't even toxic, but it was clearly she was mad because I kinda outplayed her.

  • @Zachcjjj said:

I say gg after every single match no exception it doesn't matter how bad i lost or how much i won but some people take it as a personal attack when i say gg after i beat them? can someone explain this to me?

I take it as insult. Especially if I get 0k. You can't tell me gg wp. It's not ok. I did bad if I hooked only 2-3 times and got 5 boring minutes. It's not a gg. It's big BG.

It got better for you with SBMM?

Weird, for me it got way worse and more stressful...

I mean as survivor yes. Before sbmm I faced only pro killers and it wasn't fun dying with 5 or 4 gens left. I'm not a pro survivor. As killer now is either hard and stressful, either very easy.

  • Iron will like lucky break? No thanks.

  • Now only for challenges. Killer gameplay is dead.

  • Tbh no. My matches, every single one, it was a sweat fest for killer. Very unfun.

I mean every idea needs to be finetuned, I'm just taking something I paid attention to as a benchmark.

People that complain about ruin being gone too quick usually say RUIN USUALLY LASTS A MAX OF 2 MINS. Which is why on top of that minute which they considered short, I added another minute and 20 seconds. That one just blocks hexes dude. You can still do gens even through the hex. I might not cover everything but here goes.

Devour hope - It usually never lasts till it has 3 stacks so having that perk I created will at least give killers that fighting chance to get 1 or 2 hits on the exposed rather than have this cleared before it works and be useless for the rest of the game.

Ruin - You need a slowdown perk so you use this, but I've cleared and also gotten my totems cleared in 20 seconds after the game starts. How frustrating is that?

Undying - At least you get to see people around dull totems while this remains up, other than that, not much effect here.

Huntress Lullaby - Need I say more here? People usually burst gens starting stack 3 and above so you need to get there before the totem gets cleared THEN HAVE IT SAY UP FOR LONG ENOUGH TO MATTER. So.... The new perk I created helps you reach the first phase which is like 3-4 stacks.

Retribution - Doesn't do much to this one cause you want them to clear hexes to see their aura. But well, if it was a new perk it would be nice to have.

Thrill of hunt - Again, nothing much here. Maybe just a heavy protection for your totems? I don't know..

Pentimento - Ahh the new perk. Together with the one I made, it's quite counter productive because you want people to clear totems for this to take effect so blocking it is a bad idea.

So yeah, covering those, I don't think 200 seconds is that strong. It just gives killers a fighting chance. The fact that I'm a surv main asking for this can only tell you it's to some extent a fair perk. What do you think?

I play both killer and survivor (more survivor because killer is most of the time frustrating) and I really think 200 seconds is too much in my opinion. I would say maximum 2 minutes. And also, noed should be an exception because it's an end game hex.

  • No way. 200 seconds to block hexs is a lot. I was thinking yesterday about a perk idea for killers that will block your hexs. I think it should be 60 seconds for purple perk. The entity will block your hexs same as corupt.

  • Jonathan because he was cheap. The only skin I bought for stranger things chapter.

  • No. All pro blights that I faced they were on console.

  • Yeah, it happened to me as well. Many times.

  • Nice story, but not a real one.

  • As killer, clicky clicky and teabagging is unnecessary. It's more bothering me than annoying. If I'm ignoring you it's clearly I'm not interested chasing you, so stop begging for attention. And also, don't follow me while I'm chasing someone else. It's creepy af.

As survivor, I don't like to be slugged until they find the last one. It's a waste of time for me.

  • Since when it's nerfed?

  • It sounds ridiculous and funny 😂

  • I have played some matches as billy today and I lived to read what someone said in chat. It was hilarious. They were skilled players and me noob Billy. I barely play this killer. So I got my first hook after they finished all 5 gens because I tried to use chainsaw and not M1. They asked my why I'm so noob lol and why I camped (considering it was end game). That's the wrong question. Ask yourself why are you paired with noob killers instead of asking me why I'm noob. And anyway, why do you care how is the killer? Especially if he's noob. That's good for you as survivor, don't pretend you are not happy getting easy games. I told them "I'm not here to entertain you". But most of survivor mains will complain no matter what.

Same as survivor, my matches are most of the time against noob killers. I know how to loop. I don't "deserve" to play against noob killers. As killer, I don't "deserve" to play against good loopers because I'm not that good as killer, especially with the hard ones.

  • @geldon12345 said:

@Sakurra At high MMR this game is blatantly survivor sided. I do lose some games, but majority 4k no matter the map. I love obliterating full SWF's and watching them cry.

It means my MMR is high as well. If I'm playing nicely I get 5 boring minutes and that's it. That's why I stopped playing nice.

  • At least you are enjoying playing killer

  • @RoachesDelight said:

For me it was my first flashlight save. I rarely ever used a flashlight and being on console sometimes it's a little hard to aim the flashlights. It was on backwater swamp against Plague.

Looping and escaping with 0 perks.

  • Why and who asked for cosmetics to be removed lol. What's the problem?

  • All I see in your post is complaining about complainers. Who is the real complainer here? You. Yes, you are...

  • I'm playing this killer occasionally to farm with him knowing I will get 0k.

  • You are right. I barely run a slowdown perk for gens and if I'm playing nice I only get 2 hooks and the match is done in less than 5 minutes. If I'm playing like a jerk I can get 1-3k.

  • @Terramortius said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2653078#Comment_2653078

Honestly, I'm not going to say anything much about this.

As much as 2 wrongs don't make a right but I don't blame you for camping and tunneling THAT SPECIFIC SURVIVOR if they BM you.

Sorry to hear your games are unfun. I really hope you get matched into better ones on your coming matches. Good luck!

I don't blame nobody for nothing

  • Since they nerfed him it's not fun anymore to play him.

  • I'm a survivor main that used to play killer sometimes because I enjoyed it. Now it's very unfun. Yesterday I tunneled one guy and camped with insidious bubba lol. I got my "revenge". They are toxic with or without reason, anyway. Now I give them a reason to be.

  • @Trickstaaaaa said:

Like for real, waiting nearly 10 minutes to find a match at night is too much. And even during the day It can take up to 2 minutes, at times. And when trying to find a match with friends, regardless of time during the day, it can take up to 15 minutes not even joking. The waiting times are getting worse than how they during pre-MMR.

Let's see the good thing in this, killers are nerfed and survivors got coh.

  • @Avilgus said:

Lucky break is way better, especially with a good medkit
