Swf and their second chance perks = no more killers.
Played Mikey. Had 3 in basement bc they were sloppy. One dude YOLOS bc he can and got one guy off. I hit the dude, BT kicks in. I hit the other dude. His BT kicks in.
3 out of the basement. I hook the 1 dude left. Chase the others to the exit. Hit one down at exit. Pick him up, what do ya know decisive strike! Free escape.
Last guy.. well he's healed.... there's a pallet. Let's just get a speed boost and run right on out.
There's no winning when all 4 of them run stacked second chance perks, and speed through gens in 4 minutes .
I'm taking a break. Gl other killers. Swf squads are going to be the death of dbd. It's hard to imagine they don't cap that crazy crap. Why do they all deserve second or third chances when they get rightfully downed? Why do I have to lose out and get teabagged all the time at the exit gate like they did something great, when it's ALWAYS the op second and third chance perks that save them?

Apparently queue times are getting ridiculously long for survivors.
The reason remains a mystery..
Welcome to our club of retired killers.
Tbh if the killer player really would quit the game would suffer more. Right now its still fine we still have 5 minute queue time for survivor if you are solo and that not much to what it used to be
Meh, give it few more months.
During a certain period when you were playing survivor you could wait 10 minute as a solo player for 1 game in a swf it was up to 30 minute now its nothing. In a few month we are going to have a license killer people will be hype for it and the player base will forgive everything just like they did with nemesis and pyramid head
Survivor its easy, but right now its full of jerks farming bps no matter what, play solo its almost impossible coz in three matches the killer going straight to me and ignores the other let their do all gens and pallets before leave, i report that teams right now.
The current strategy is to pretend the queues are not slow. In fact, they're faster than ever.
Because they are just stupid thinking they are good using second chance perks. That's why.
Really? Reading this thread and others, it would seem that the strategy is actually to pretend the queues are slow... all while parroting that one has quit killer and plays survivor because gg ez... and yet if that were true they would know queues are fast... (pro tip: from the main menu press 'play as survivor' and then 'ready'. It's recommended to do so before logging into the forum to say "zOmG kILlErS aLl LeFT, dBd Is DeaDeD hArd").
None of that will make my queues any faster, unfortunately, and they're up to 5 minutes. But hey, ignore the problem. DBD will be the top forever :)
Edited this because I misread the post completely, sounds annoying as ######### to see that happen but unfortunately that's what second chance perks can do.
Same here. Played 3 matches of Trickster. All t-baggy, clicky, swarming survivors. All literally hovered around me all game, not even remotely afraid of me, the Killer.
The only saving grace was downing one of the bagging survivors at the gate with STBFL, that was funny
You're telling me you played greedy, mismanaged your targeting, and failed to successfully basement camp?
Yeah, it really would be fairer if basement hooks just allowed you to instantly kill whoever's on it, right?
There is zero counterplay to DS in the exit gate.
Yeah, but that wasn't the real issue here, was it?
He mentioned a guy getting downed and then a free escape for DS, so it's one of several issues brought up.
What do you think the real issue is? If three people are downed and hooked at once, one of them can RNG off the hook and then everyone can unhook off that chance and get a hit of invulnerability and then get a freebie at the exit, and that's good design?
But the fact it became a 4e was pretty much purely down to greed, nothing else.
Hmmm. Should I tell him?
Now imagine if no one had had BT and DS, would that have been a free kill for you? Lol
Meanwhile this is me waiting for their endurance to run out… because I know better.
This was literally my experience earlier. Woke up a bit too early, thought I'd take advantage of the bp boost and play a few games. Straight away I get a clicky, tbag dwight stalking me across a map. His only strat appeared to be pre drop pallets and run to the nearest window so he ended up hoooked twice. The others were better but ended in a bit of a stalemate at the egc someone slugged but I could not hook or even leave them as they were trying heal in my face and had 3 flashlights (they were gagging for the flashy save). Dwight got too close so I had 2 slugs, egc running out so chased out the last 2 and had to choose, they were too close to gate to hook both so I grabbed dwight as he was nearest to a hook and he dc's whilst the other crawls out. Next game 3 flash happy killer stalkers, plenty of injuries and 6 hooks but they were relentless with swarming the hook and anyone I downed. Eventually it led to 2k only because they just wouldn't leave hooks or the killer alone. Rinse and repeat for 3rd game just with a leon desperate for me to chase him and repeatedly fast vaulting etc.
My survivor que times between 06:00 am - 14:00 pm are instant. After that my killer que become instant (Europe).
There is no shortage of players and if you want to leave the game, do it. The game won't die.
just play basement bubba to give swf survivors a small glimpse of whats its like playing a killer and have no control whatsoever
Won't die ....Yet. Just a matter of time im afraid, things cannot last the way they are
I agree the only reason why times are faster now is because of the double BP weekend. But wait times for survivors are getting longer and longer. I waited a total of 15 mins last week for a match as soloQ and that was at prime time
DS is so easy to play around you could've went after a different survivor.
Those threads were the same 2 years ago and the game is still not dead. If you guys are not liking how it is, take a break or don't play it anymore at all.
I have always the same que times, regardless of the bloodpoint event.
