Killer: I'm playing as Oni
Survivors: Ok lol
*Killer actaully picks Ghostface*
Would be funny wind up material pre game.
-
Barely go against Myers anymore. A couple of years ago, every other game was Myers.
-
I don't bother stalking, I find that it wastes too much time, I seem to thrive without it. I like M1 night shroud spamming which basically just gives survivors constant problems. Key to GF for me is chewed pen and the yellow NS recovery add on.
Nurses calling is mandatory
Discordance helps locate threatened gens
Thrilling Trem helps protect gens
Hex retribution gives you a free aura attack whilst using NS
He's good fun :)
-
NOED is helpful for killers that are;
1. Bullied by SWF
2. Trying a new killer for the first time.
NOED is a perk in the game, so deal with it (I don't use it)
-
Jeepers Creepers, Lipstick-Face (insidious), Imotep
-
I've played once (last week) as the spirit and got 4k and 1 gen popped. Picked up spirit, started a match and won easily. So my point is, if someone on there first go can clean up with her, how strong is she in experienced hands?
-
Oni's skin could have been its own killer. Cracking design.

What do you mean by "rank cosmetics"? A charm or something?
Coloured clothing to symbolise rank acheived, charms, costumes that are only unlockable at certain ranks, incentive to rank up etc
-
Hopefully rank cosmetics so that we can finally get rid of the blood stained clothes we all earned 2 years ago.
-
Hars to say as there are many aspects the obvious big 4 for survivors id rate myself on are;
Looping - C
Juking - L
Awareness - A
Stealth - A
For killer;
Hitting survivors - B
Ability use - B
Decision making - B/C
Game knowledge - B/C

I think it’s honestly survivor movement that pisses me off the most about playing killer. Gens aren’t as bad if you come equipped with the right perks. You can feed off constant information from your hooks and downs and speed. But the survivor movement being able to 180 or 360 you is bs
Amen
Infact, it's the ONLY thing that does make me actually camp the hook. Cba to spend another 5 minutes trying to catch Torvill and Dean
-
Ghostface - Remove the ability for slugged and hooked survivors to reveal ghostface. Why - GF gets penalised and loses his power despite downing/hooking a survivor. Reveal should only work for healthy/active survivors. It's annoying having to leave the line of sight before activating NS
-
You've ignored my 'narrow' point. Do players pick them EXPECTING a tough survivor squad or fear good survivors. If you are rank 16 and using spirit why do you need mori's and ultra rare addons. It detracts the fun aspect for survivors having a match ended in 5 minutes.
-
Got to be spirit. She's the only killer I've played where survivors panic and make mistakes, instead of running towards the killer trying to bodyblock him. She's dangerous and ice cool, litterally.
-
I ll bring a pink key or map if I need a pip to rank up. I run plunderers so find them quite often too. The spirit in last nights match was well in control, yet moried 3 survivors all after 1 hook. Could have played for more bp
-
Toxid tier 🤣🤣
-
Imo, the only two things that they can do add a level of fear and adrenaline, would be more jump scares, like Hag, and perhaps a killer that actually costs survivors blood points and pips.
Other than that, killers fear the survivors more
-
1. If a player D/C early then I let the survivors play last man standing, whoever I find last gets the exit.
2. If survivors refuse to play and spam hiding in lockers, i ll again, let the last live
Other than that, they aren't getting sheet
-
I love GF, but his reveal mechanism is junk and needs a rework. You get penalised for actually sneaking up and landing a hit, but the worst part, is activating night shroud and you get revealed by a slugged survivor or whilst carrying them. The reveal is also inconsistent.
-
Camping is a legitimate strategy, receipt in the bag?
-
Spot on. Lurking nearby using the hooked survivor is a baiting tactic, like you said, why should you walk off and put the kettle on....
-
I play survivor 70/30 around mid ranks Imo, gen speeds are slightly too quick, they don't need much work. The common pattern ofcourse is 2 gens popping after a couple of minutes because the killer will spend a half a minute finding a survivor to chase, followed by another 30 seconds till they hooked one, by that point the other 3 survivors have either gone 2 to 1 on a gen or got 3 individual gens done.
They don't need much work imo. Perhaps add 5-10 seconds to them.
-
Love GF and trapper. Not many things in gaming that are nicer when a survivor runs into a bear trap 💙
-
Gen rushing is a gameplay, so is tunnelling and camping. Tbagging at the exits is not gameplay, its just unsporting behaviour. I ll stay in the exit gates every time if a survivor is still on the map, I ll bait the killer and take a hit, but i wont t bag cos I have class, unlike most players 👌🏻

you cant say spirit is "cool, original killer" since its clearly a rip off Samara from the ring. I do love the oni design.
But if FnaF is against your delicate sensibilites, focus on the design and powers and pretend its not fnaf.
Disagree. Samara is a Japanese icy spirit girl, very different imo. As for delicate sensibilities, most people my age don't find robotic bunny rabbits scary.
-
Let's be honest folks, they are going to add a FNAF chapter arent they.... These darn kids just keep harping on about it.
Would prefer another cool designed killer like Spirit or Oni
-
Two rank 8's DC on me yesterday as I had just started a trapper basement game. The so called rank 8 was trying to disable a trap so she could save the other rank 8. Before she sabo'd it, she got hit and stepped on the one they were disarming 🤣🤣
Let the 4th survivor escape because of it.
-
Camping is a legitimate strategy albeit an annoying and risky one. Camping makes perfect sense if you spent about 5 minutes trying to down a survivor who is on 100% sensitivity and t bagging you at every pallet. Why why would you just walk off to let them get saved to start the process off again 🤣
Camping is good for the other 3 survivors as they can gen rush and get out 👌
-
Yet to play spirit, going to try her tonight on console. I have a headset and apparently that helps on spirit too. Could a pain in a few survivors ***es this weekend.

Most of the current issues for killers are caused by them and changing playstyle slightly fixes half the problems.
DS - just remember who you hooked and slug suspected users. If they run at you or blatantly abuse it, then remove them from the game.
BT - target the unhooker if they're that close and if the other one blocks you, then force them to mend and WASTE TIME.
Unbreakable - Bait it early by tactically slugging.
Gen-Rushing - play for stalling the game and protecting generators, rather than straight kills.
Adrenaline - don't slug for the 4k and just deal with it. Two hits isn't THAT hard to achieve for a competent killer.
Body-blocking - they're desperate or you're a tunneller. Just hit them and waste their time.
Also that the notion of kills make the killer is the single most outdated mindset in the game. The pip system exists for a reason.
So what are killers supposed to do apart from kill? Make survivors a sandwich?
-
Worst part is surely waiting for 10 mins for a game and then you
1. See the dream world countdown timers
2. Hear the doctor using his power
-
I play console and rank 13-17 for both (just don't play enough to get lower) As a survivor, the easiest killer to face is nurse, ive only faced one good one all the other occasions (about 15) have been easy escapes. The hardest killers to face I find are Spirit, Hag Myers and Ghostface. All 4 seem to clear up in low to mid ranks. The other killers are all ok, some good legions and trappers.
Billy's and Wraith's seem to camp a lot at low ranks.
-
It's a statement in itself that as a killer, you mustn't be baited or goaded by survivors when defending an objective. It's litterally 4 killers v 1 survivor. I love the game and the challenge that it brings, but its either do well or get bullied, no in between.
-
I was picking between Spirit and Oni to try next and went Oni. Should have gone Spirit 🤣
-
I sometimes use a process which I call soft tunnelling. If I go after the person who was just hooked I will slug them but NOT hook them. I let them get healed, this keeps them in the game yet gives me all the slowdown that slugging offers. As for tunneling, its super effective yet annoying for survivors. Targeting the weak or vulnerable is an evolutionary predatory strategy.

@Khakuate said:
Yeah I agree, if they keep doing this they will be forced to buff stealth.
In reality, it would be a stealth game. Would you really t bag and run rings around a 7ft bloke with a machete carrying bear traps?
-
Yeah that's what I did, just spammed traps and ignored them. It was an excellent match, very tactical and it tipped in each others favour more than once, only for them to act like little sods at the end. I survivor main and I do stay in the gates during thr EGC but only to try and save another and/or get a hit off the killer, but i never t bag or flicker a flashlight.
-
It is pretty boring going against 2 of either Claudette and Meg EVERY game. Shame nobody uses Quentin, Trapp, Ace etc.
-
Well the youngster's on here want a robotic bunny rabbit so why not have skippy aswell?
-
Because young humans are toxic. I think the toxicity cut off age is about 27 🤔
-
Gen rushing doesn't exist, its a made up word for survivors that do there job quickly and effectively against a killer not doing his job properly.
Gen rushing would be like whining about a football team scoring too many goals to early in a match ffs 🤣
-
I'm absolutely fine with deathslinger and Huntress. Oni is easily the hardest killer ive played. I'm not stupid enough to try nurse on ps4, played plenty of low slilled nurses as a survivor.
Need friends to practice with or a training lobby
-
Borrowed Time + We'll make it = Problem solved 🙂
-
I ll give him another try later. Its just the attack that i can't master. I'm also missing more with his sword, than I do with trapper and GF.
What's that smell? Oh its NOED ;)
-
I let a survivor live due to 2 of there team mates constantly going idle in lockers.

Haha, yesterday I had a Nea and a Feng hiding when there was 1 gen left and I spend around 15 minutes looking for them, I was playing doctor, I found the Feng, chased her, downed her, then I used my power and found the Nea, downed her too, I slugged both of them till they died , it felt so good to waste THEIR time after they wasted mine.
You Wasted even more of your time wasting there's 🤦♂️
-
Insideous
Killer - Lipstick-Face
Survivor - Elise
Map - The Further
-
Killer - Tatical move, slows game down and buys time. Only an issue if killer slugs the same survivor repetitively, apart from that its fine
Survivor - You get saved by a teammate more often than not which is better than being hooked. Unbreakable is available also.
Slugging is fine imo
-
If they ever did a DBD 2, then player specific abilites should be the way they go. Always believed that to be a good idea.
-
What does clutch mean? Obviously its used in driving but I've definitely not seen a clutch attached to the hatch.
Fun idea, not gonna happen
