Only ever played 1 Wraith who used Sloppy and Deerstalker. One of the longest games I ever played. Was reasonably effective but I couldn't just keep leaving survivors slugged.
-
Given that he suffers in chases as he has only 1 outboard, you want perks to help combat just that. Bamboozle and Brutal strength are two good ones. Wraith imo relies more on add ons than perks however;
Deer stalker is useful for slugging and baiting
Nurses C can help you sneak up on survivors from a cut off point or from behind.
Other than that, I don't think many perks make that much of a difference, just the add ons do :)

There's no excuse for suicides. It's just unsporting behaviour in regards to teamwork, especially against a face camping killer. Just gives the killer a huge match advantage because of bitter survivors.
Keep on the hook and give your team some help!
-
Bring back the lobby ranks or give is rank based clothing options.
-
Leave sexual orientation out of it. It doesn't matter.
-
I ll only camp a heavy juker. If they are litterally spinning all over the place and I spent 5 minutes catching them, im not gonna wander to far and let him get a chance to do it all again now am I? Camping makes sense, SOMETIMES.
-
What's sexual orientation got to do with a video game ffs ....
Embarrassing that they feel the need to reveal that aspec. What's next? Preferred political party? π€¦ββοΈ
-
Didn't know what it meant. I have come across them before, but I always play the same way. So you can rewatch the game from there perspective then?
-
Never heard of silent hill or pyramid head. Underwhelming chapter for me personally.
-
I run dark sense which is wonderful end game. If safe I bolt for the door to 99% it and then look for totems or go to assist injured survivors.
-
Killer can only chase 1 at a time, so you have a 75% to not being the targeted player effectively, so survivor is probably slightly easier with less pressure. Easier or harder really depends on the quality of player who are against.
-
Played as Jake since day 1, his cosmetics aren't great although he does have some stealthy attire.
-
I run plunderers instinct and get pink keys/maps every 2 or 3 games. Even found one once AFTER the killer closed the hatch π
-
I refuse to use self care. Its cheating in my opinion.
I run;
Dark sense
Plunderers instinct
Iron Will
Unbreakable/Camaraderie
-
The problem with face camping is that its bait for survivors to try and save the camped survivor, instead of blitzing the gens then going for the save. Seen a lot of face camping lately, and in only 1 game, did we punnish the killer by gen rushing. The other occasions, all survivors were trying to lure the killer away thus wasted loads of gen repair time. Survivors play into the killers hands when it comes to camping.
-
Killers at low ranks are fun, obviously the higher you get the harder and more toxic so you have to mirror that by tunneling/slugging if necessary to keep up with jukers.
-
The hatch keeps the game interesting for survivors when completely dominated and it rewards the last player alive. Its kind of like a goal in the last minute of a match scored by the team that were inferior all match long but it still can happen. I did prefer the old system which was 2 gens needed doing to unlock the hatch.
-
Yeah same here. I'm rank 14 and played alongside a 1&3 in the same game against a 12 spirit who was pretty bad. 2 games in a row against Spirit and only 1 player got sacrificed.
-
I've swept up twice thanks to NOED, but yes, it will help get 1 kill usually. Its a fair perk.
Survivors get a hatch regardless of how badly they played
Killers running NOED are playing 95% of the game with just 3 perks
-
I run a few different perks on both survivor and killer. I agree that pretty much everyone plays the same character and/or perks.
I use dark sense, plunderers instinct, no one left behind and iron will. I use Jake which is not as common as others also.
-
I love playing as Trapper as traps take cunning, skill and ingenuity to catch survivors. Ghostface is good fun when using night shroud and Wraith is fun because he's so mobile and simple to use.
I've not played as Freddie but i can't imagine him being much fun.
-
I also forgot to mention. The idea for the killer is too KILL the survivors HOWEVER they can. There is no obligation for killers to not face camp, as annoying and as frustrating as it is.
-
If the killer is face camping, all 3 other survivors can gen rush and get out, providing the camped survivor isn't a spoil sport. Survivors make a rod for the own back when it comes to goading a camping killer.
Only suggestion I have would be the entity progress stalls after x amount of time and remains stalled until the killer moves x amount of distance away. Rinse and repeat.
-
Dark sense is strong. 5 gens plus exit gates gives you 6 indications during a game where the killer, what the killer is and where the killer is heading.
I love dark sense, especially if the pink silhouette is heading staright at me ;)
-
I run plunderers instinct and find plenty of rainbow maps and keys :)
-
I like being chased, and against some killers i do ok and waste a lot of there time, but generally I don't loop well at all i.e wrong routes.
-
Full stealth. I use green clothing on Jake and frequently use it against bushes and rocks to disguise myself and it works everytime. I guess killers vision is based on movement π
My biggest weakness is being unable to juke or loop well.
-
Recent form (last 6 months) killers are dominating. I play survivor main 70/30 and killers certainly have the edge atm. Its a horror game so it should be that way perhaps.
-
Hahahaha Ive played for 2 years and never knew that there was a difference. I did always notice that a killer will get agitated and paranoid if I ever waved at him to make him think a survivor was near. Next time I ll either wave or flick
-
I played as survivor last night and I couldn't believe how fast the gen repairing was solo. It seems double as quick as it was a couple of years ago.
-
Teabagging is just gamesmanship and wind up tactics. Its also an excuse to tunnel and return the favour.
-
A pirate would be good, or have a T rex chase survivors π
-
I play regularly depending on what shift im working but im loving the ps4 play still. My only gripe is the waiting times for survivor. I got a 4K with Trapper against 4 very good jukers last night, without any post game email abuse, so things are still good here :)
-
Playing with NOED us the equivalent of survivors playing with Self Care and DS. Besides, a killer using NOED means he's played the majority of the game with 3 perks, not 4, so really he should be praised π
-
Problem is, a good Bubba is better than a bad nurse etc etc.
As a mid rank player, the hardest killers to face atm are; Myers, Freddy, Spirit, GF and Hag.
Nobody seems to play as Demo, Nurse, Clown, Pig or Oni on mid ranks I find, so can't comment on them.
-
I find crouching to be a hinderance. I like to be able to see long sight lines, not the bottom half of pallets and walls. His only good add ons are the chewed pen (NS recover) and maybe drivers license.
-
Game is killer friendly. Ghostface is lethal on it, trapper too.
-
I will tunnel if a survivor;
1. Is being toxic
2. Is very good at juking / hard to catch
3. If the survivor in question runs in front of me and leaves me no choice but to down them (especially with ghostface)
In the event of number 3. I ll slug them and allow them the chance to be healed before I return back and get them.
-
Played against him 3 times and we bullied him in all 3, yet ive played him 3 times and I now have 10/12 kills with him, yet I struggle with huntress. I am missing a lot of shots atm though and SWF would annihilate me id say.

Dude, high rank dwights are the worse out of those 2.
Yeah Dwights generally get my blood boiling as a killer, even at mid and lowr ranks. Claudette and her flashlights too π¬
-
Basement hooks are a trappers treasure. Survivors still fall for it regularly so its a useful failsafe if a game is getting away from you.
-
Another woodland one but darker, perhaps a graveyard.
A football/soccer stadium
-
Hide in lockers when he is chasing someone near you / if he approaches you near a generator. The shocks don't affect survivors in lockers. I played against one recently who must have had whispers as he fired about 20 charges trying to find someone π
-
I have 6 kills out of 8 with him so far including games on cornfield and yamoka temple. He's better than the huntress as he has no hum, a Myers tier 2 terror radius when using M&A and he doesn't have to reload at lockers. He is bullied however and if you keep missing your shots, you're getting a survivor whitewash.
-
Deathslinger is better.
1. No hum. Adding Monitor drags the terror radius right down so you can pretty close unnoticed.
2. No need for lockers to reload
3. Harpoon is so much easier to hit with than hatchets
4. Better perks
I've enjoyed DS so far. Only negative is having to reload the gun after every shot.
