Yeah maps like Haddonfield exist now which are pain and suffering on survivor side, I wish they'd do a mix of the new iteration and the original rework.
Yet new maps like Ormond Mines, and fazbears are really fun, it's just the reworks which are all doo doo (Coldwind and Haddonfield specifically) -
My guess is they have map rotations every day or something, but it could just be bad rng

Yes, let's forget about otr, vigil and tons of other perks that are stronger than several killer perks and require 0 investment from survivors
But of course tribalism is your everything
Why does it sound like you are projecting and only play killer

Why exactly would it gut him?
People say he is just M1 killer all the time, so let him be one. He really isn't right now when he can just press button next to a survivor to fully cancel his dash and slide with lower fatigue than Legion on top of it.
It would definetly make him more difficult, when he would need to actually know where to target his dash so he end near survivor and survivors would be able to double back if he dash too close, which I think would be hilarious to see his zoom past me.
His ability to cancel his dash is my main issue with him. It just makes him so easy to play.Agreed, if your positioning is so good as anime john, then you won't need the shorter CD, right?

I know that much, just wondering just how big those piles are. Do people have hundreds of these yet?
I have thousands across all my survivors in total, I just don't use them often.
Just like how I have plenty iris on killer. With how common they are I'd love a mode that doesn't allow iris on either side.
Also are you hiding your addons on purpose coz you are also using an Iri? Lol -
@PetTheDoggo said:
I like playing against him, but anything would look good after Kaneki.
You can juke his axe quite well and it's amazing to watch ambitious Springtraps trying orbitals. The amount of times I've screamed coz an orbital hit me LOL
-
@Feather said:
When i made post that we should AT LEAST reduce his speed to 4.4m/s i got "skill issue" comments, "Kaneki would be bad", "He is only m1 killer after first hit".
Nobody knows the meaning of m1 killer anymore LOL
-
Yeah he isn't balanced at all, terribly designed, miserable to go against.
-
Camping killers in general need a QoL change rn, there are too many that can get free downs now.
Feels like we are waiting forever for phase 2, sad it missed the anniversary when we needed it most. -

It had potential, but there were glaring problems...
Chief amoung them being if she doesn't hit a drone first, she doesn't have a power, as the EMP dart did nothing unless a survivor is claw trapped... and if she does hit a drone, unless she is there to EMP them before its removed, she also doesn't have a power, as drones cannot down either and claw traps can be removed.
So she basically is an M1 killer with a two part power, both of which basically did nothing without the other.
Think Houndmaster/Twins, but you have to set up like Trapper/Hag first to get a scan, where a scan will let you use Snug/Victor, but they are stationary so with a single shot, that you have to push survivors in range of them for your one and only try to convert it, all on a much longer cooldown/reset. If you miss, you lose phat distance, if you hit you then have to walk after a Survivor holding W away for phat distance after you switch back, to then have a shot with a Huntress hatchet, that you can't leave chase from, because if you let the survivor remove the trap, you lose your hatchet.
There is just no reason to play this killer over any other killer, since on all the others, traps are mostly autonomous, and the hatchet's threat is immediate; as opposed to having set a drone, chase a survivor into it, swap to drone and hit, walk them down, do a little rain dance, pay your taxes, sacrifice a small goat to the God Imhotep, and finally get to access to something remotely lethal for your power.
If I've learnt anything from recent patches, is don't knock it until you try it, there may be unique fun setups and plays to be made, if the recent rework and killers are to go by they have proven to be effective if not outright OP at launch (Ghoul)
The fact people are upset someone is excited for more content in here is wild. -

i think the bug you’re referring to is what’s called the “slingshot tech.” if i’m not mistaken it’s the “tech” where after using your first leap you immediately spam the button to use your second leap which will send you flying forward at like 2x the regular leap speed. i’m pretty sure the devs are aware of the bug because a couple patches ago in a bugfix section i remember them saying they “fixed” it but it’s still in the game. maybe making another bug report post could help but ik the forum mods get pissed if there’s duplicate bugs being reported.
Is Slingshot tech also affecting base 115 movement speed? What I'm on about is Kaneki's running much faster AFTER they've used their power.
Though it could also be I'm misinterpereting what they have been saying -
Maybe we'll get a werewolf down the line with them seeing interest
-
I change my builds up often and don't really rely upon meta where I can but that's mainly coz I play event queues, so chaos shuffle and 2v8 don't allow me to use them and make me rely on what I'm given.
That said I go through random head on + Deception + scene partner phases where I can't let go of the perks. -
I love Unknown and Dracula, like how diverse their toolkits are allowing for different plays.
-
What's the issue with a perk being useful in the situation it's designed for? Sure when you whiff it's like omg you lil stinker but that's just DBD. I don't really take issue with the perk playing against it, it serves its purpose and it takes up a perk slot.
-
Legendary/killers talking mroe would be nice, like how Wesker and Birkin do.

I said that I think god pallets should not exist. God pallets is those type of pallets that the killer is forced to break no matter what if they want to move on. The Game is a perfect example of those pallets.
They are a finite resource however, if people would stop respecting them, they'd get rid of them faster.
-
These gave me a giggle, it's sad survivor perks with conditions are all like this these days.
-
Can we add a feature where the survivors can mori his annoying screeching self, if he somehow loses.

so why butcher skull merchant since casual players cant hold a chess? why change knight working AI. Casual players actually consume a lot of youtube videos and they are not looping ghoul properly because they dont have the information on HOW to do it. Its not like they arent skilled enough for it…
Also casual players will be in a low mmr enough to get some diversity of killers in their trials, so asking for a ghoul change in the forum is just laziness to learn counterplay, because you need some decent mmr to constantly face blight, ghoul, nurse
People didn't like those killers because they were boring to play against, I don't see what you're talking about.
I'm looking forward to the new Skull Merchant however -
I'd love an MMR reset honestly, I don't even know if it does anything tho
I do feel the game could benefit from one atm, especially when the new mmr measuring lands. -

That is true, but what would you do about it? Nerf all the fast killers to M1 speeds or boost the M1 and lower mobility killers to blight and ghoul levels?
I rather play the faster killers because playing on slow M1 killer on bigger maps is miserable.. and 4.4 killers are even worse.
They have to have a downside somehwere, nerfing the S-Tiers will only promote healthier killer variety.
-
I'm still excited for her rework, it sounds exciting to play against.
-
Maybe they'll revisit them after whatever anti-slug is implemented
-
I'd be okay if this nerf goes through but buffs the base percentage back to 10 percent, that would be nice for m1 killers

Im looking at the wiki page and it shows a 1.5 second cooldown for Wesker. Where are you getting your stats?

I guess with Wesker as well he has plenty warning as he charges up his skill too is maybe what they mean?

Stand alone self care would be a better pick. Not even removing 1 chest off this would make the perk appealing I think. If the idea was to limit swf, self care would still be a better pick.
I agree with you, I think maybe if the timer was shorter also it'd be more worth it. IDK why they are so scared to tweak values of these perks and see how they do with stronger tuning.

fair enough! No problem at all! Here’s a couple examples If you’d like to see.
Yeah in these situations this seems more optimal for her to confirm hits faster, are the clips sped up when you grab them or is that just how fast snug pulls? I had no idea he could pull that fast if so

I have no idea why this isn't just one chest, 2 chests when only like 3 or 4 are available and there are 4 survivors is tonedeaf.
-
I am happy about the cakes, I don't care much for the event mode, good thing is I don't have to queue up for it to farm cakes if the mood isn't hitting.
So I welcome it!
Very excited for Chaos Shuffles new iteration though, sounds like a blast. -

The new pathing he just attempts to pull them to the spot where they got grabbed initially, yes.
The pull strength is weak so either way it doesn’t do ya much good. That’s why I I was thinking hahahaha huh! It would be more efficient just to keep it the way we had it.
That explains a lot then, thanks for explaining!
Yeah I don't have as much experience as a p100 so, if you feel she worked better beforehand (Personally I didn't have any problems with it before either) I'm all for it. -

As from skullmerchant nerfs, killrates doesnt mean anything, we can count them only from point when survivors cant kill themselfs on hook so from fnaf chapter. Tbh I think they will be near top mmr blight, still before his nerfs he shoul recieve big bugfix that would work now he is bugged trought roof I made few posts about this and reported some bugs, some of them make him less opresdive and just gave him enrage when he should get enrage with hit on survor and others make him use his power straiht judt as the one when he is enraged he looses one token intead two which makes his cooldown from kike 5 seconds only half of this time.
It's a piece of the puzzle context wise we need I feel, even if it's high it still tells part of the truth behind the state of the killer. It shouldn't be the sole reason a killer is nerfed/buffed, but it's definately a part of it.
This is off topic, when they were in PTB I was actually excited to face Ghoul, but I feel the changes made coming out of PTB made them unbareable. Blight also I feel giving him the pallet break was a huge mistake too baseline, part of the reason he is really strong.
In the same sense I feel like having escape rates for perks/items would help the community understand part of the context which is strong and what isn't. -
Invocations are probably some of the worst perks in the game by far IMO.
I love the idea of playing chicken to go to the basement, but the downside to them has to be the most ill thought through thing ever. -

We ignoring nurse exists?
People are just numb to her and forced to accept she exists really, because I feel BHVR do a really bad job at listening regarding the S-Tiers.
-
@SkeletonDance said:
I'm all for the nerfs for Nurse, Blight and Kaneki and the rest killers should get a buffs. It's time for different killers to be meta
Hard agree, tired of facing them all the time
-
@CrossTheSholf said:
His killrate shouldnt include the go nexts from when he came out
I feel like, if this is really high it could tell two stories:
-His time to kill is way too quick
-People just don't want to play against him
Either way it just tells it's a miserable experience. -
@Yggleif said:
There's no way Ghoul's killrate isn't the highest in the game, I have never seen a ghoul get less than a 2k and that's when they do astronomically bad. Any remotely competent killer player gets a 3k or 4k on them pretty much every time.
Do you know if they've discussed the chapter officially anywhere recently? It's been really quiet recently regarding it.

I was a hater before live release (and a little after release) but he's grown on me both ways.
The whole "camping in/returning to a door next to a hooked survivor" thing could maybe stand to be addressed, and Glitchtrap being ever so slightly P2W (to the point where most Springtraps I play against are using the skin) is irritating, but other than that I feel like the killer rewards skill on both sides adequately and doesn't feel that BS to go against. He just requires a little bit of knowledge & attention on the survivor end to counter his mobility more than anything.
Good power design, good add-on design (especially after the changes), stellar artistic design…nothing for me to hate here really.
Yeah this is my feelings with them besides the hating them before live release, I was indifferent about them.

Oh I totally understand. Truly. ❤️
I’m p100 with her and unfortunately for me, I don’t have that same experience. Snug usually for me gets dragged into resources.Previously though when I had a LOS. I would get the grab far away and snug dragged them right to me closing the distance which helped.
Obviously of course I wouldn’t do it with a pallet there because then he would drag into a pallet for them to get the stun so that would just be silly.
Thank you though I do see your point. Valid thoughts. 💭I can see it happening honestly, because I still don't understand how the new pathing works LOL I'm guessing it pulls the survivor to the end of the path he was going?
-
Yeah I feel like this too, I love all of them but I really hope we get the Werewolf eventually
-
As someone who plays her, I feel like it's a double edged sword, it going to the marked location has often saved snug from pallet stuns in some cases for me. So I'm kind of torn about it
-
maybe it could work like a weaker leader, like better than new does ontop of its current effects sort of like empathic connection of that sort of perk.
-

I absolutely will not stand for this claim!
Twins is by far the worst designed killer, that encourages the most miserable and unfun game play of slug, camp slug, slug and camp slug then repeat.
But Kaneki is pretty awful and unfun for sure, I do not enjoy them in the slightest and can honestly say I have never had a fun Kaneki match
I'd rather take a million twins over Ghoul honestly lol
-
yeah killers screaming endlessly and jump scaring you, are fun for like the first time you are introduced to the killer, but it gets old.
-
Casual players are the lifeblood of this game whether you like it or not lol
-
I feel it'd be really good for the casual side of things, helping newer players especially learn what perks activate when that they are up against.
-
Yeah I think high mobility should have a downside, even if it's something like 110 while power is on CD/off CD
-
I really would love to be able to have a charm on my killer's weapon
I'd also love to have emotes for more interaction with players. -
I went against a blood warden hellfire gate dracula yesterday, it was so funny. I don't think this perk needs a nerf, it has such a specific requirement, and you can do plenty to buy time if you still have the resources, if you don't then, the perk is doing its job.
Biggest sign of it is if the killer is waiting out a pickup for when a gate opens/the EGC timer is low enough to cause a close call situation, I'd say it's in a healthy spot rn.
Anymore time and it'd be impossible to escape from in a lot of cases, any less and it'd do nothing at all.
