Trying to survive is entitlement?
I would say wanting others to help you with achievements is entitlement.
And I don't feel sorry for people who only play mikey for achievements. If you played tombstone enough you would get the achievement eventually anyway unless you are impatient.
When someone is the last one left and they hop in a locker, they aren't trying to survive, they're just waiting to avoid the mori. But if the Myers isn't going for the achievement they'll just take them out and hook them like normal. There is no way for them to survive, so it's a simple choice between dying in a way that helps the killer get a difficult achievement or dying in a way to prevents it out of spite. Also, I don't play for achievements so it's irrelevant to me anyway. It's only rather amusing that people will pretend this petty action is about 'surviving' when everyone knows it isn't.

What did they do the perk
They increased the bonus to skill check chance

Hiding in a locker is a terrible counter to Tombstone Myers. Lockers aren't hard to find, they're everywhere. Hopping into a locker requires no skill, and when the last remaining survivor does it they're doing it just to deny the killer the achievement. That's all. It's not an attempt to survive or escape, they know they're dead. And hell, when I had someone keep running back to a locker each time I carried them away, I tried to wait them out, and they stayed in the locker for 15 minutes and then disconnected instead of just stepping out.
Maybe if survivors couldn't stay in a locker indefinitely it wouldn't be so stupid. (Not only that, disconnects are still handled poorly with no husk left behind.) Lockers are an infinite resource with no restrictions. There's no perk that blocks lockers, nothing that forces the locker to spit a survivor out after a certain amount of time. Maybe at least let Myers Tombstone a survivor if the locker has birds on it.
There's no argument against it, just survivors who feel entitled to deny people an achievement even when the game is clearly lost.

The 'high risk' of using Dead Hard for certain distance when you know the killer can't do anything about it. LMAO
-
Actually the devs will tolerate any amount of toxicity as they don't believe it exists.
-
Wesker is D tier right now since even if his pathetic power works you just get bugged out of your health state. Sadako is definitely the worst killer in the game.

To everyone saying "It's fine". That doesn't answer the question. Why is it even a thing? Sure, they have reduced the cost and 20K isn't a crazy amount, but I'd like to know BHVR's reasoning why it's needed.
'Bloodpoint economy'

Hyperfocus was literally just buffed out of PTB
-
Fixing 'slightly' makes me think they will increase it too little then call it 'fixed' and no further changes ever. Will be pretty funny after their 'slight' reduction from PTB destroyed him.

He effectively has no power right now.

Cowgirl Rebecca is the only skin I got for Project W. She was fearless, and crazier than me.

Nothing Mandy has said is toxic.
You meanwhile ranting, swearing and insulting the devs with every breath, is the definition of toxic.
Your entitled "serve me or else" demeanor is also very much Karen.
BHVR's stance here, trying to go back on what they clearly said, is gaslighting and toxic.

I'd be interested to see where we said that. As all our official communications has had MMI standing on their own and clearly explaining why we're using them...and there's no mention of replacements for bonus perks at all.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/337-developer-update-june-2022
"We will be removing the Bloodpoint bonus. While we understand this change may seem shocking, please keep in mind that this update reduces the grind by about 75%, with matchmaking incentives providing an additional avenue for Bloodpoints"
The change to BBQ isn't 'shocking' because the incentives provide an additional avenue for bloodpoints. I fail to see how an 'additional avenue' for something that has been removed is not in fact a replacement.
-
As replacements for BBQ and WGLF, this makes them a straight downgrade for the user because they can no longer choose which side they wish to play while getting extra bloodpoints. And they ARE replacements for those two perks, though perhaps BHVR will deny this.

If Ashley was a problem for you in Re4 you just weren't good enough at protecting her, skill issue. Seriously though I'd like to have her too
-
Dating sim "satire" games aren't a real satire of dating simulators, since most of the developers probably have never played one and it shows. They're just a platform for awful 'self-aware' jokes and bad meta stuff (blame Doki Doki Lit for this). If you ever wanted a real emotional experience from one, even the mediocre True Love from the 90s, one of the first ever translated into English, is still better than these 'satirical' ones, where the only real jokes are that someone made and that someone spent money on it.

Make Nurse Rebecca a thing and make it so Nurse can't kill her (she has too much respect for fellow nurses)

She needs a buff low kill rate.

I wonder. Do bloody party streams get more common? If so that would be sick but guessing dbd and there bloody party streamers they prob keep the locked up in a safe somewhere and never let them go out in bunches
Pretty sure BPS have a unique and very low rarity despite appearing green.

"Grades are purely a measurement of playtime now"
"Ok, so remove depipping"
"Nooo, that would remove the challenge in grades!"
In reality, we all know that the rewards are part of the sadistic enforced "Reduced" grind, and that depipping is a part of that so it would be removed. The devs NEVER respond to these requests except to gaslight with more 'it's just playtime' stuff.

Destroying Thana WAS their idea of doing something about Legion slowdown.

It’s BHVR map design, I wouldn’t praise it until I’ve actually seen it LMAO

If you want to know this is basically a sequel to I love you colonel Sanders. I expect it'll be exactly that.
OK, thanks for the confirmation it won't be worth the price 😋
-
I think they should halve the BP gain from matches. After all, it's counterbalanced by the grind being #75PercentReduced

I cant tell if you are trolling or have never played a visual novel before
This isn't me.
Only low-tier trash uses self-insert 'protagonists'. I trust that BHVR would never stoop to this level.
-
@TheArbiter said:
The protagonist is most likely gonna be yourself, and trust me you arent being added in to DBD lol
That makes no sense. I'm not a video game character. They will obviously have a unique face and personality.
-
I ran Distortion a few times and it usually never got activated once. Tell more people to use it when I play Killer please.
-
Just make sure the killer has a licensed skin and they won't get killswitched, ez.
-
Anyone who says Iron Will is useless now hasn't actually used it. Post a video of you using it and failing if you want to prove this.
And it certainly makes the grunts quiet enough to not be a bother. You literally can't hear them if you're on a gen or in the terror radius lol.
-
If there's a new male legendary, there's a good chance it goes to Leon instead of one of the new ones, although James on Cheryl is evidence against that.
-
Why would you encourage them to add more overpriced cosmetics
-
Nobody has said anything negative about the patch here. After all, it's a 'killer-sided' forum, so it's definitely not filled with dozens of posts about how survivor is dead now
-
It's not just a name, it's a way of life.

i posted a picture where there is everything explained and there is an overlap from the old cheryl on the new, but in sintesis the facial bones are completely wrong, Nose, cheekbones, jaw and chin are different and so are the lips. if you add the fact that she is skinnier and she is missing her freckles you can say that she is a different person and not the original character.
I guess you're right, though it's not nearly as bad as the Claire issue.
-
People are definitely lying about not using DH lol. I'm probably mid-tier with both survivor and killer, and I always play survivor solo. The number of pre-patch games where there wasn't at least someone using Dead Hard, whether on my team or against me, was probably less than ten percent; I kept track of around 60 games (30 each) on both sides for a while out of curiosity over meta perk usage, and it was 6% of games with no Dead Hard; that trend didn't change substantially in my other games. So when people say the single strongest perk in the game getting nerfed is unimportant and 'AcTuAlLy I DiDn'T UsE iT', I know either:
1) they're lying anyway, or
2) they don't realize that the vast majority DID use it, and their anecdotes mean nothing for how much the nerf changed things
I would say DH nerf accounts for about a quarter of the total difference in Soloq results; over nerfed perks (DS/Iron Will) for another quarter, and killer perks/buffed M1 for the other half. So I don't even think it was that big a factor overall, but pretending it doesn't matter is nonsense.

https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/ZFJC3EJVZZ9F/image.png
Perhaps you can elaborate on the differences some more? As far as I can see, the DBD model face is similar but just somewhat more thinner/smaller
-
Wraith is honestly very well served by the update, I haven't had a non-winning game with him since it, and he obliterates in my soloq games too.
-
There's nothing "classy" about formalwear, it's a remnant of an even more class-segregated society, and the ostentation of corrupt, decadent nobility and industrial scions. No thanks!
-
Trying to convince people DH wasn't that strong now it's gone = epic gaslighting moment
-
They won't do that, because they don't actually want people to get BP any faster. That would disrupt the precious 'economy'. Increasing the limit was just a red herring move to make it look like they're doing something, to head off all those pointing out the grind wasn't really meaningfully reduced.
-
Make another teleport killer that's better than Sadako to put the knife in deeper
-
BHVR hates the ability to mix and match. At one point you could freely select all cosmetics in the store, including the ones you had not bought, to see what they would look like together, but they removed it. Probably freeing less sales if people could more easily discern how cosmetics look together. Therefore, it's not impossible this is a deliberate further step in this direction. But it's also BHVR, and anything can be a bug with them.
