No it wouldn't.
This would still only tell you what generators got hit by the perk.
It doesn't continuously tell you whether they're still regressing, which is the reason you run Surveillance.
It would still show you they're regressing, which would stop if they get repaired, that's just Surveillance without the yellow aura.
I run them together and if they made Opression like that I would drop Surveillance, all I'm saying
-
Opression showing what generators regress would make perks like Surveillance look like hot garbage
-
It's a race track, full circle, huge with no shortcuts through the middle. Gens are evenly dispersed throughout the circle. People take small naps while waiting for their SWF to finish the game if they die and killers have to stretch post-game.

This was how DS used to work and it was....far from balanced
We have come full circle

Premonition is when you're looking at the killer, Spine Chill is when the killer is looking at you so that's how they're different
Premonition also has a 30 sec cooldown with no speed boost so I think it could do with a buff
-
Woah been awhile since I thought about Manhunt. Wouldn't they need Rockstar's permission?
-
@ad19970 said:
Is this because of the Mori nerfs or just for amusement?
It's because killers are so entitled, thinking they get to kill and stuff.

@JPA said:
Generators are far too slow to repair as well, it should be at least twice as fast, as I don't always spawn with 3 other survivors so sometimes I can't get a generator done before the killer comes and kills me.
Also the generator keeps exploding for some reason and I think this alerts the killer to my presence, they should nerf generators
Completely agree, generators OP.
Also every time we stun the killer it should uninstall the game for them

This is a good thing, because basically no other offerings have a strong effect on the result of a match in progress. You can earn lots of BPs, thicken/lessen mist, slightly space out or pack in hooks, influence hatch and basement spawn points, increase luck (which can be useful, but basically only in Lips / Up the Ante / Slippery Meat stacks), change the number of chests that spawn, influence spawn location, and now, you can kill survivors after second hook in order to dodge DS/UB, hook sabotage / bodyblocking, etc. and avoid destroying a hook when you remove a survivor from the game. I think this is absolutely in the same strength tier as the other offerings that exist.
I'm leaving map offerings a bit separate, since while those can certainly influence survival odds by picking a killer-sided or survivor-sided map, a map that suits your killer / perks, etc., they don't influence the outcome of a match in progress whatsoever. In other words, they can be somewhat strong, but not because they have anything to do with how the match plays out.
This Mori change is actually the exact change I've been hoping for for quite a while. Glad they went with it!
You're describing basic gameplay to someone with 17,000 posts lol calm down
"Now you can kill survivors after 2nd hook to blah blah blah" Buddy that's literally what moris did before, except one hook. You're right, killer NO LONGER have an offering that can seriously influence the progress of a match. Glad you see the problem.

Prepare for the "wHy ArE mY sUrViVoR qUeuE tImeS sO lOnG" posts later today
Twins was fun but I'm going back to survivor, where BHVR protects me from the bad decisions I make in game
-
Something new gameplay wise, I don't really care what but everyone shoots down new ideas here. It's all about nerfs and buffs
-
Unhooking yourself isn't a neat little thing to do that makes your teammates backflip with joy when they see it, it's an emergency move.
You have no reason to do it when you're obviously being rescued except because it's "Fun" okay well now if we care about everyone's fun, maybe it's "fun" to watch you struggle on the hook because now I feel like I wasted my time? You're right, it's not that serious, it's just what I'm gonna do for fun
-
Prestiged bloodweb doesn't give you anything either. At P3 you'll still be looking at 1/4 of common addons, with the rest being ######### map/BP offerings or if you're really lucky.. An item.
My advice? Farm all your perks and don't prestige unless it's for bloody clothes (It's the only cosmetic on Quentin, which is why I did it)
-
Great idea, for the killers benefit it could be something like
- Survivor actions are louder while using Backpack and can be heard from an additional 4 meters away
- Scratch marks left by you are visible for an extra second
-
Certain killers can work around this. When I get a map like that I'll park Victor in middle of the big house so if anyone tries sneaking through there I'll know
-
Remove the Twins*
There, fixed it for ya
-
I wonder how many bugs they had to fix to hack it lol
-
This is like your 4th "Unintentional DC" post, something tells me it's your fault lol
-
He's saying it sarcastically, because 10K is not a lot and a bad gift. I agree.

I've been doing it lately, and boy howdy do I feel dirty. But its solely to go for that awful Bill trophy. Also I make sure to run Borrowed Time, and thankfully, the killer hasn't ignored me once for the fresh unhook! Trust me though, everytime I do it, I feel worse and worse lmao.
Well at least it's just for the trophy and thanks for running borrowed time on behalf of solo players everywhere lol
-
I don't like how flashlights have accuracy. These aren't guns lobbing bullets that require advanced physics. It's a beam of light, is the flashlight bent or something?
I don't get it

Funny enough, this works way too often even without light born and while totally blind. There's a concerning number of potatoes out there who blind a killer and just stand there in the same spot the whole time.
Not likely to happen if it's a clear bully squad like your example though.
Getting hits while blind is so satisfying

@Saltjar34 said:
Problem is, MYC and Devour Hope are very powerful perks and they only activate after the killer is a certain distance away from the survivor so rushing unhook can prevent those perks from activating.
Plus if the unhooker has Deliverance and WGLF, there's practically no downside to rushing an unhook.
There is no "Hook rush" perk that can't wait a little bit while someone sits through phase 1, use it, just use it later
-
If they just would've released L4D3.. DAMN YOU VALVE!

Happening on PS4 too

This guy is the reason lol did you see those shots

It came off like that? That was never my intention. My intention was to look at what BHVR has done right during a time where there are countless things to b**ch about.
To be fair, how much did I have to work with?
A little but in a funny way, it's all good
-
Edit: To sum up this appreciation thread
-
Kicking Victor should make you the obsession, or something.
-
What do you suggest? Her powers and gameplay fit her perfectly, and as a Saw fan I love it. I don't think it needs reworked, maybe improved a little.
Could you imagine if she had a special hook ability like Demo though? Something like the rack device from the movies
-
I don't like how Victor getting crushed is just a global sound, it should be directional and give a notification. I wear headphones and still can't tell where my goblin got smushed
-
This guy is right. I solo and have used saboteur before and maybe 1 out of 10 games it actually affected the killer.
Often times I would sabotage the hook intended for me in order to save myself and it would respawn by the time I got picked up.
Even more often than that I would run to a hook with intentions of helping someone, tap it and realize I had the wrong hook, and now my ability is on cooldown. Gave up on it pretty quick.
I think hooks should stay sabotaged for longer OR not trigger cooldown for tapping the hook. Only one though
-
Survivors don't like it but tunneling works and can we talk about all the hate mail? I've got people banned off PSN for threats of violence after whooping their ass a few minutes in
Get over yourselves, killers don't owe you a fair anything lol
-
You're saying gens at 0% sometimes get hit by Opression? Can someone clear this up, do untouched gens have a chance to get hit and therefore waste Opression?
Cause if so that's dumb with an 80 second cooldown and it definitely should only hit active gens

i promise you that if you simply replace it with ruin you will get more value then it's until usage throughout your game.
if it didn't have a 80 second cool down i wouldn't say that but the cooldown is just too long to be viable, your basically getting mediocre value and running thrilling and pop would get you more value and info than that perk combo with arguably better info since you would know what gen a survivor is on with oppresion there is only a chance that it applies to a gen a survivor is on and they have to fail the skill check.
Ruin is a hex, it can be taken out right away and then you've wasted a perk slot that whole game
Thrilling does not regress gens, has a 60 second cooldown, lasts only 16 seconds and you're not guaranteed to be picking up a survivor every 60 seconds, I can almost always find a gen to kick and when I do I have kicked 3 gens for the price of 1 and have Surveillance which lasts until the gen is done regressing or gets repaired, and a sweet hearing bonus. Pop goes the weasel is just a really strong kick and you only get 1 after hooking a survivor so it's limited.
On the Twins this usually means I hook a survivor, kick a gen, switch to Victor and go check whatever gen just went off through Surveillance aura/Opression skillcheck (Which is way more often than people are giving it credit for) and switch back to Charlotte when someone unhooks. If Tremors made gens regress though, that would be a better surveillance combo for sure
I appreciate the suggestion but they're completely different combos. It's outside the meta and it works, just try it
-
People don't realize how good Opression is. I've been using Surveillance with it on the Twins and ending most of my games with 3 or 4 gens left
-
Can't wait to see all the constructive questions such as "How dare you release this DLC, I hate BHVR!"

Oh my god are people actually just taking Victor and running away with him?!

You think he should just explode after downing someone?

This is some delicious bait

I think she'll be fixed and buffed a little soon, she's good but Victor could be better

I don't think this combo is OP but running Trail Of Torment and Dragons Grip together is really fun. Kick the gen to get undetectable which doesn't go away until someone touches the gen and if someone touches the gen they become exposed. If you're REALLY SCUMMY you can just stay close to the gen undetectable and wait for someone to touch it and insta-down them. I personally like Trail Of Torment with BBQ & Chili so I can sneak up on other survivors.
Woah. Definitely gonna give that a try when I get Trail of Torment, nice combo

Ok so hear me out, im a little confused regarding the community.
See we like to say its 4 vs 1...but it isnt is it? infact this used to be brought up when people were asking for bans (again) because the other player did something they did not like.
Key Features
• Survive Together… Or Not - Survivors can either cooperate with the others or be selfish. Your chance of survival will vary depending on whether you work together as a team or if you go at it alone. Will you be able to outwit the Killer and escape their Killing Ground?
See? its build into the game that you are allowed to be selfish and running around the map dropping every pallet for the heck of it, farming every survivor just cuz, and sitting in a corner doing nothing...its all allowed and like camping/tunneling something completely gamebreaking but unbannable, perfectly within the rules.
So why is DCing a problem with punishment, when by the games own vision: "you are ruining the game for others" is not an argument.
It definitely is a 4v1 lol
That's because if you ran around the map doing nothing that's still normal gameplay, leaving the game isn't. Just suicide on the hook like everyone else and make the killers happy.

The mori animations for the Twins, the one Charlotte does with Victor (There's another 1 without him) is broken too

While its not op by any means, I've been running Nurse's/Deathbound together on pyramidhead and really enjoy it. Basically if you heal anywhere on the map, I know about it.
Got it comboed with BBQ & Ruin and just feel like I basically always know where everyone is on the map.
That does sound good, might give it a try. Love awareness perks

@TAG said:
Eh, Surge + Surveillance is probably better. Or heck, Ruin + Surveillance.
Right? I wanna say they would synergize well if you used all of them but I don't wanna use all my perk slots on gen perks

How do I delete someone else's post

@the_new said:
op? oppression is hot trash
It literally triples surveillance, and surveillance gives a lot of info. Saves a lot of time too when generators get hit by it.
It's at least mid tier by itself and the synergy is hard imo

"I rememer when I was in 5th grade. Over 5 years ago" made me chuckle
I'm not opposed to a FNaF chapter
