I doubt they'll ever unlink those sets, even though they shouldn't even have been linked in the first place.
-
Huh, you're not Sluzzy.
-
It was like 95 degrees fahrenheit (about 35 degrees celsius) here in New Jersey yesterday. Luckily, I've always been able to deal with heat pretty well.
-
The cosmetic glitch.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but are Clown's bottles still broken?
-
I'd just make it so things have a higher score.
Edit: And add a way to get more survival points.
-
Because it's a good build. Simple.

Just made me think - they try fixing the bug that removes perk loadout if you play tutorials, everyone now has to play perkless until next patch.
Oh Jesus.

The trickers blocks the switch, not the exit.
And yeah it was likely Black Box based on the situation described.
Oh, my bad. Yeah, it was Black Box.
You know, that's the first time I've ever seen anyone get any value out of that piece of ######### add-on.

What do you guys wanna bet that Clown just never gets fixed?
Bet.
I'll play perkless Trickster for five games if Clown get's fixed in tomorrow's patch.
-
He was either using Back Box or Trickster's perk No Way Out.

Watch tomorrow's patch will sideways break her like they managed to do to Clown. By fixing some little portion of Nemmy, her traps now just fall off when you hook them.......
Better yet: they don't activate at all. Oh, and she can't crouch.
Bug fix patch coming 2039.

Wait, what..... ummmmm....noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Amanda Panda has enough problems already leave her beeeee
Yep. Are the devs gonna bother fixing any of those problems, though? Nope.
The only time poor Amanda's gonna get changed is if she gets bugged.
-
I sorta bounce from killer to killer, so I wouldn't really say I "main" anyone, but right now I'm primarily playing Blight and Legion.
As survivor, I've mained Ash for a while now. And when I buy the chapter, I'll probably main Leon as well.

Congratulations on getting Ash to P3.
I genuinely think Bhvr wants to make the most successful game they can. I also think there is value in reporting that the grind is a differentiating factor in opening my wallet as a new player.
Yes I am just one data point in a sea of players, but what is the point of these forums if not to share our experiences?
Gotta keep hope alive! Hope costs nothing.
Thanks <3
Anyway, yeah, all we can really is hope they do something about the grind.
It isn't too bad for me, cause I got this game back in March of 2019 when things were a bit more manageable, but I can only imagine how intimidating the grind is to players who just got the game.
-
Through my experience, I've found that pretty much every map has janky collision; but some are definitely better than others.
Mac Millian is really good for him.
Crotus Prenn is pretty good.
Auto Haven is meh.
Really, the only maps you wanna look out for are any indoor maps and Swamp. Because all of those suck for Blighty boi a lot.
-
Yeah, the grind in this game is absolutely insane. It literally took me over a week of playing just to P3 Ash and get every survivor perk on him. (Even then, I'm still missing Leon and Jill's.)
Despite all the complaints, and easy solutions, are the devs gonna do anything about the grind? Nope.

I was so happy to see they were darker and so disappointed when someone pointed out it was probably bug because they stayed same when darkening add-on used. Every time someone asks what changes Trapper needs darker traps is always one I list, especially with indoor maps and the reworked maps.
I play Trapper a fair bit, and this is such a nice buff for him. He definitely needs more, but this is a good starting point for him.
Sadly, Behavior seems intent on ignoring Trapper. (As well as almost every other bad killer in this game.)

We have fixed an issue allowing players to break linked cosmetics.
Known issues: Auric cells now cost 10x the usual price and all cosmetics have been removed. We expect a fix for this around patch 9.1.4
Know Issues:
- A bug for Mori's now allow killers to kill survivors regardless of whether or not they were hooked.
- Brand New Parts now allow survivors to instantly complete a generator.

I'm betting Trapper when they fix the bug that made his traps darker without add on. Traps back to see from mile away bright but can only set in like 5 places that are completely useless.
I'm really hoping that that's not a bug (although it probably is, and it probably will get fixed even though Trapper really needs it).

Known Issues: when placing a Reverse Bear Trap on a survivor before 4 generators are completed, it will remain idle until the 5th generator is completed.
The Spirit now recovers her power 100% faster.
Solo survivors now have a totem counter basekit. This will be removed in the next hotfix because we hate solo survivors.
The Hillbilly has lost access to his chainsaw and moves at 110% speed.
The Nurse now has 30 blinks when using "Torn Bookmark" instead of 3.
Know Issue: You cannot select to play as killer or survivor.

Wasn't it revealed at one point that Huntress' hatchets have like a beach ball as their hitbox basically? Hitboxes definitely is the problem at times.
Yeah, Huntress' hatchets do have a big hitbox, but they're the only one I can thing of that's abnormally shaped.

I also would want an Ethan skin, only because I want to see this in an actual game
Well, Ethan has an actual face modeled after Yaya Chamki, but it would be pretty funny if his face was just blacked out like that.

He's a kind of mad inventor with his powers so I figure a reskinned version of the gun would work tbh.
I guess that could make sense, though it'd be weird to not see Heisenberg walking around with hammer.
-
Learn how to phase like Spirit can.
It's not hard, kid.

@STARS_truck said:

Definitely. A Heisenberg skin could probably work well for Deathslinger too tbh.
What would his weapon be, though? Because Heisenberg doesn't really use any ranged weapons other than occasionally flinging random pieces of metal at people.
-
Don't forget "Myers" is blocked.
-
I really want a Jack Baker skin for Trapper, a Karl Heisenberg skin for Doctor or Trickster, and an Ethan Winters skin for Leon.
Having classic Nemesis, Mr. X, and Birkin would also be really cool.
-
Hitboxes are fine.
Latency is the issue.

But how much compared to other reworked maps? Because I'd take my chances on Ormond instead of Badham or Storehouse
I mean, yeah, when compared to how survivor-sided they were before, Ormond probably got the best balance change. But ideally, wouldn't we want Haddonfield to become closer to the level of Coal Tower or The Chapel? Because aren't those some of the most balanced maps in the game?
What I'm trying to get at here is, although Ormond is better than how it was before, it's still pretty good for survivors. So then hopefully, Haddonfield gets changed to be even better than Ormond's rework. (That's wishful thinking though, because they're probably gonna make it darker, slap breakable walls all over the place, and call it a day.)

Yes, but like I said compared to Old Ormond you have a better chance
Of course it's wayyyy better than Old Ormond, but New Ormond still ain't that great.
-
Ehhhh, Ormond is still pretty bad for killers.
-
Charlotte and Victor.
-
Yeah, it looks really bad. They did Claire dirty.
Also, @GoodBoyKaru is gonna hate your username.
-
No, because that'd be boring as #########.
There are other ways to slow down trials.
-
Very well said.
I'm definitely the closest to quitting this game than I've ever been before.

Leatherface (Bubba Sawyer): Extreme durability, devotion, and strength (he can swing a chainsaw like it's nothing), and then there's the fact that he always has the hyper-adrenaline rush going due to having no idea of what's going on and being terrified of everything. Oh, and he's armed with a chainsaw. He's borderline superhuman in the end.
Ghostface (Danny Johnson AKA Jed Olson): Advanced intellect (just think for a moment about his add-ons and backstory), years of experience as a serial killer, deep connection to the Entity, and of course, he analyzes his targets' actions and movements specifically to bypass any defenses they could use to impede him.
Pig (Amanda Young): Utilizes victims' stress, fear, and distraction to land lethal blows without resistance. Plus, her sadistic streak and her knowledge of machinery and toxins combined with the opportunities to apply them give her an advantage that can't be discounted.
Clown (Kenneth Chase AKA Jeffery Hawk): Anesthetics and depressants filling your blood, lungs, and brain make it a bit difficult to fight back against an actual athlete with actual decades of experience in indiscriminate murder. Plus, the obvious... weight advantage.
Legion (Frank, Joey, Susie, Julie): Bad at stabbing. Inexperienced. Extremely young. Not all that bright. But they can run pretty fast due to the Entity, so hey!
The Legion (Frank, Julie, Susie, Joey): A group of ruthless teenagers; they can sprint extremely fast and make use of their size and agility to vault pallets and windows in a similar manner to survivors. Due to the Entity's assistance, they will never run out of energy as long as they keep stabbing, and additionally they can unnaturally sense the presence of any survivor near them. Thanks to their knowledge on the subject, their stabs and slashes cut deep into the flesh of their victims, causing them to bleed out if they do not address their wounds.
You're really underestimating them.

Lol I'm so 50 percent in agreement on your choices. :)
I'm guessing you disagree that an indoor map should be removed, and you agree that Wraith should be removed?
-
Having a fun match where everyone is chill.
Oh, and not getting cucked by ######### console optimization making me lag spike every nanosecond.
-
Map: Any indoor map. Doesn't matter to me. They all suck.
Chapter. Resident Evil. Shocker, I know. But in my opinion they really didn't do this chapter justice. We should have gotten a character from the modern RE games, a less annoying map, and a more interesting power for Neme.
Killer: Wraith. He's so bloody annoying. (Hag is a very close second)
Mechanic: Hatch. It's lazy and a complete dice-roll to see if the survivor escapes.
-
None.
No killer perk needs to be nerfed, in my opinion.
Noed needs a rework, not because it's op, but because it's an awful perk. Like seriously, it just sucks.
-
I read the title as "Homophobia Steam Achievement".
Thanks brain.
-
Ideally I'd bring back most of these, but if I had to chose, I want the og Dream Demon.
-
We're seriously complaining about Legion?
As many others have said, split up, don't heal, hold W, and juke.
-
Weird. Personally my uncle touches me the most.
-
Easily Wraith for me.
Hag ain't too far behind.
-
The game is next to unplayable on consoles and lower-end pc's, the first new map in like a year is disabled, the legendary skin debacle, multiple really bad bugs (invisible walls on the Temple of Purgation, Blight losing his power, Clown's bottles not doing anything.)
Overall, this has probably been one of if not the worst chapter in dbd's history.
-
At this point, the only reason I still play this game is because I've invested so much time and money into it. But there's only so much I can take. If Behavior doesn't optimize this game soon, I'm quitting.
-
I completely agree.
I, myself, am not spending a single dollar on this game until the devs optimize it for consoles and lower-end pc's, and reduce the insane grind.
