It feels like all we've gotten this year is licensed killers, and most of them just aren't that fun.

Honestly, they'd probably fix it to the bare minimum and then leave it again. DBD needs a competitor asap.

Because "we'll look into it" is a PR move. They're not going to because they have and know it's a rabbit hole of issues. Poor coding amongst many other things.
The reason for the lag is something that would require a gigantic code rewrite. Something that BHVR isn't willing to do, because their coding team isn't that big, I'm assuming.
It's not just the performance, it's all the bugs too.
Behavior needs to address this game's ######### spaghetti code before things get even worse. Every update, the game gets more unstable.

Ghostface is buggy as hell all around. Sometimes a survivor will stare right at you, and you won't be revealed. Other times you'll be hiding behind a rock and Dwight from across the map will somehow reveal you.

Goddamn, how is this thread still going? It's embarrassing that the biggest thread ever on the forums has still not been properly addressed.
Behavior really needs to just stop giving us their trademark "we're looking into it" response and actually start fixing this issue.

It's one of the most poorly designed perks in the game in my opinion, but have fun I guess.

It isn't op or anything, but I think it should be changed just because of it's cheesy effect. It feels really cheap to be downed at the end of the game and die even if the killer did poorly. It's just like why I think Dead Hard should also be changed.

I think Fear Street would be pretty cool.

Since then, I've tried my best to be better.
When I first started playing DbD, my friend and I would act like your typical annoying survivor mains, until we both started playing killer ourselves and realized how bad it was. If I could, I'd go back in time and punch myself in the face.

Same. I feel like a lot of us are leaving this game to go play VHS. Of course we can't predict the future, but right now it's looking like they could do a far better job running a game than Behavior.

This is the biggest problem for me.
NFTs are questionable regarding the enviroment but they do not bother me more than Dogecoin or any other weird crypto stuff (for me its just people playing stupid games to win stupid prices...), blockchain is an interesting tech that can have some good applications (not relaying on a central institution can have it`s merits) and so on.
But that they misled their community is a pretty big offense and impacts me more.

Well, for one, I hate how they harm the environment. However, I'm also pissed they lied to the community, like you said.
Honestly, though, I had been thinking about quitting for awhile, simply because I wasn't having fun with the game anymore.
Dumb decisions after dumb decisions.
Neglected issues.
Unfixed bugs.
MMR.
The Realm Beyond.
Greedy practices.
All of those things contributed to this decision, and much more.
