Wraith was going to be the first but Doc came soon after now that Wraith is buffed he is a secondary of mine and a close one at that.
-
I may be heterosexual but I love the charm its absolutely wonderful to have support for pride In the game and i'll wear it until I feel the game has gotten better. As of right now i've got it on my David and Cheryl and i've got it on my Doc's hook. But however much I hate that people are camping and tunneling people with the charm i've used it to my advantage. Anytime I have a daily to be chased or a challenge that deals with the killer in any way which I just had one with David I put on that charm then run that homophobic weasel till his legs fall off. It's actually fun when I face baby homophobes that try and catch me since its the only time I don't feel bad about teabagging at the exit gate. I may preach positivity but some people need to be thrown back into the sewers they crawled from so to let positivity reign supreme.
-
Neither please :)

But of course. After all it is my personal goal to promote positivity whenever possible and to make this game a better place both for myself and for the people to come. I see so many people leave the game because they get teabagged by survivors or the killer bms them to death and they just think " this is not worth it" and I hate it since I love this game ( no matter how many times in infuriates me ) and I want this community to grow so when I see a new person and they didn't have the best time if i can i will always help them out and give them the support they both need and deserve to keep going. And I'll keep this going as long as you and the others allow me.
I'm not sure why but whenever I answer stuff like this I feel like I should talk like alfred from the batman movies. Like a butler y'know but sometimes it sounds cocky and arrogant and Im gonna be honest tho I love talking like a butler but I hate being arrogant so im not sure what to do about that.

That's so wholesome to hear!
And it's lovely to see a thread promoting positivity, I think we all are victim to remembering the negative stuff and forgetting about the positive stuff - even compliments, it's human nature I guess. But I think it's good to stop and think of all the positives that we have....for me, this game has given me a great job, and made me so many incredible friends in my life, people I wouldn't have otherwise met, so I will always be grateful.

Indeed! What people need to understand is that we, as a community, are a family.
Yes, we are a family. A divided and complicated family, but a family nonetheless.
Well said friend. Well said.

I had a match recently where the survivors brought me to Haddonfield. Every one of them was toxic, except for the Nea.
At first I tried to kill her when she teabagged with me, but after she amassed a nice item pile I came around. After I killed all of her teammates, I led her over to the hatch, but she wanted to get the gate for some reason so she let me close it. Afterwards, she opened one of the exits and we had a staring contest until the EGC was about to end. Then we went our separate ways.
It's always good to reward those who play nice in a crowd of toxic a-holes. It helps people to be nice during their other games and trust me that positivity spreads. It may not be very fast but it eventually does.

I had a match recently where me and the other three survivors helped a plague get her challenge done! That challenge is a complete nuisance to get done
I actually helped a baby plague do that as well. I also got my dwight challenge of her so we said "thanks" and moved on thats how It should be I feel just a little assistance every now and then especially on those "Complete in one trial" challenges.

Giving the hatch to an Élodie who got intentionally sandbagged by a David was one of the best DBD moments I've ever had.
I will never forget her "Thanks Freddy". It warmed my heart.
When things like this happen it makes my day it helps remind me were not at war with survivors were a community that should work together and be kind. Its the main reason I don't try hard hardly at all only time I do is when a survivor is too good for me to make the game exciting then I try hard to give them a good time or at least try too.
-
All-Kill I really liked his design and his playstyle a.k.a. an actual machine gun of knives. I am still not good with huntress even tho i've been trying I take to long to aim my shots but with Trickyboy I didn't have to worry about that but then ... then. I played him.
Perks were cool tho. And I think he has some of my favorite lore as well. Just cause of how metal this guy actually is.
-
Please let there be a Doctor one. Its the only Funko I need. Please Please Please Please.
Who am I kidding "the only Funko I need" Im so buying them all still want Doktr first tho
-
God as a collector of rare items this scares me.
Never once have I used an anniversary item on one of my characters I got that hoarder energy y'know.
-
Of course and I also try to do the same. My job as killer is to give excitement to the game and make it difficult to complete your objective. So when I get a nice message I know I did my job correctly and let them have fun. Of course there is still that drive to win so sometimes if I've had a bad day or just not been feeling well I'll go more for a 4k rather than just havin fun since winning always feels good. Competition is funny like that ain't it.

He actually had a stroke like 1 year ago and he's dying of ASL so please be nice to him.
Yeah thats what I'm saying I'd like to see the people who insulted him survive a stroke and the repercussions. My aunt had a stroke a very long time ago and while she is living she still cannot talk "correctly" and she cannot walk without assistance from my uncle who is always very worried about her. And because of her I cannot sympathize with anyone let alone be nice or in anyway decent to someone who makes fun of stroke victims. It is one of the very few things that actually grind my gears. Normally i'm a chill dude I like to preach positivity I feel the world were in needs it but some people need to be put back down to the sewer they crawled out of.

I feel like the people who actually are pride deserve it and it should stay but its true that those people are actually horrible people, Plus as @Orion said they will get banned. Eventually people will just deal with its inclusion I think.

hello everyone, i am a new player i got dbd about 3 weeks ago and i am just wondering how people think this game is survivor sided? killer seems way easier and way stronger than survivors
Trust me I thought the same thing. *sigh* I should have gotten out while I could
But in all seriousness Killer takes a lot of insight and patience once you get up.
And the matchmaking does not help I was getting red ranks at rank 14 you can tell how that went. So come back here tell me when you get red ranks and tell me how it goes as Killer and this is just in case someone thought so "this is not an insult or calling you a baby I am just genuinely interested in your journey as a new boi :)".

Wait Wait WAIT are you saying to me that they insulted Puppers. These absolute neanderthals thought it was cool to insult a survivor or a stroke. Lemme find those odds real quick.
Yeah right here
A total of 2990 patients (72%) survived their first stroke by >27 days, and 2448 (59%) were still alive 1 year after the stroke; thus, 41% died after 1 year. The risk for death between 4 weeks and 12 months after the first stroke was 18.1% (95% CI, 16.7% to 19.5%).
Lets see the dudes who insulted him survive those odds.
I may have in my anger screwed that up
Sorry if I did get the wrong odds.
Me get big mad when I learned that and I kinda just did a reaaaallly quick one if I did get it wrong please tell me and ill see if I can find better ones and fix it
Edit: Good news after more research I think I'm fine but then again still kinda upset so yeah previous message still stands if I got it wrong

Do you want credit or just royalties.

I always take everything in a positive light like "gg :)" or "gg :D" until others tell me otherwise. It makes me feel like there are less toxic people playing then there actually are.
Had one person message me after a REALLY bad clown game and say "gg" I responded the same then they said "no not gg you got " and this is the funny part that made me not upset at this " clowned on" im pretty sure they were still making fun of me but I just said nice joke and Its just common courtesy to say gg after a match and they stopped messaging me.

I came into this post believing it would not be that big and thinking hey I could waste a bit of time but jeez man you popped off didn't you.
I almost just skipped the rest but since I didn't see the stream except for the RE stuff I am happy I kept reading and saw the crowns I never had a chance for the 4th anniversary crowns so this does put a smile on my face.

Can't get mine to work either.
-
i've been reported multiple times from survivors for no reason, one girl reported me because I didn't give her hatch (the swf she was in did it too) and If something like that happens again and I get autobanned well lets just say im not gonna be happy.

Good lord doth my eyes deceive is this meant to be a ... a pure post on the dead by daylight forums. Goo forgive me for I never thought I would see one other than that one about how cool Jeff is.
But in all seriousness this is just a nice post and I appreciate seeing it so in honor of Dead by Daylight and the many hours of entertainment its given me
Happy Birthday!
-
Nea: actually hate this fictional character and I have no Idea why I just know I do
The next to will be tough since most other survivors are fine
Meg: most people who play her are either brand new or toxic as hell at least in my experience
Dwight: dude just sucks man
And if it was up to me all are replaced with different versions of my favorite survivor to face Jeff :)
-
For the most part yes I enjoy chases but I also play devour a lot. Because I still get to do those chases the survivors can stop it and I can still win by getting quick downs. It's more of a " Ok sport you had your fun now If you would be so kind as to DIE". Its the best of both worlds y'know.
Also my favorite thing about the game is the rush of getting a good survivor team (preferably in my rank range Purple) and each one of us is playing the game as hard as possible the chases are good the gens kinda of fly but not enough to end the game in seconds and both of us outplay each other left and right. Now I don't get these matches often but when I do get them I live for it.
Also Docs laugh love that.

Another on I see.

that's fine. but the ghost face in question did this while I was still alive and was actively blocking gens so I couldn't help fix them. and this person that "outplayed them" they had many chances to hook them, they chased them and did nothing. they even led the other person a a gen I was working on and forced me off of it so they could finish it by themselves.
that's not being outplayed that survivor teaming.

Yeah I'm not saying that was good I just never gave my opinion on that I don't like that they don't deserve every point, but if they outplay me personally I'll give them a reward worthy of their effort i.e. hatch
Also I didn't know you were starting another conversation I thought you were just saying your experience so sorry about the miscommunication .

Well at least your rule isn't "If you outplay me I will let you finish the last 3 gens by yourself and actively block the other survivor from helping you then kill them and let you out the exit gate"
I had that happen in a game against a ghost face once. they even admitted that's what they were doing. good thing I recorded that :)
I feel if you survive better than the rest then you deserve a reward befitting your effort. For me they have to survive the other ones and outplay me multiple times ( that may sound hard buuuut play me once and you'll see it aint) then you get hatch and if u wanna ill let you smash a couple pallets over me (had a couple survs who had a challenge for that and I let them complete it). Not a bad reward for such good survs if you ask me.

That's very noble of you, indeed. Most killers do the opposite: if a survivor outplays them or loops for too long, they just camp and tunnel the ######### out of them.
I dont think It's nobel of me i just think they deserve it more than the claudette who sat in a locker for the 2 minutes they ran me for. Its just a given to me y'know.

That sounds rad!! I def have to look into those superstitions, but i love that idea!! Shes like freddy but not a gross crusty pedo!!!!! So the original freddy!!!!
I could also add stuff like "the class clown was being a dumb and got killed" maybe she could have like one class favorite (the nerd kid ofc, which could also be the survivor in her potential chapter??) that she never hurt but then that kid ended up telling all the people in town.
Oh yeah the kid could be the survivor or maybe his descendant since we're talking 50's here. Maybe a tag line of hers could be "The teacher isn't angry she's just disappointed and she wants you to know that"
-
@JynxCreates said:

Oh and also for perks!! I like the idea, and maybe i could do something along these lines:
-surge but instead of regression, the survivor(s) currently working on it or the ones that touch it later have to complete a difficult skill check (like overcharge)
-something like huntress lullaby and unnerving where the more tokens the perk gets the harder skill checks get when in the teacher's terror radius, possibly either making it a hex or making it so the teacher can lose tokens some other way
-whenever a survivor fails a skill check, they lose 1/3/5% more progress than usual and when you kick gens they regress 1/3/5% quicker
-Skill checks when healing another survivor are harder/more punishing than healing yourself
-Everytime you hook a different survivor, gain a token (up to 4). Each token makes skill checks 1/2/3% harder and grants you 25% more bp at the end of your trial
Other ideas are just concepts, like group punishment, more successful to work alone on things, and maybe the teacher just getting more pissed as the gens pop (like fire up)

I get what youre saying about just being an M1 kinda gal, and i was thinking along the lines of some sort of ranged attack with a meter stick? those baddies can be real long (ive seen a like 3 meter long one before it was freaky) and she could smack someone with it. Or maybe a beating stick? i was trying to go for a more oldies styled teacher and back then it was completely okay to give bad students beatings.
And ty!! I totes agree, depending on her lore i was going to do one of the following:
-she just went insane and beat her students to death (more human, just looks insane kinda vibe)
-some incident happened like a fire and she went cray cray (crispy like freddy and insane like doctor)
-some incident happened and she bargained with the entity to save her students (Crispy corpsey but not as insane, just entity inflicted insanity)
also depending on that kinda stuff, whether she willingly kills or it's just a deal, shed either just look crazy or have physical injuries such as trapper to make her cooperate ! Thank you so much for the input !! <3
The meter stick thing could be cool. Like just a longer M1 attack almost or do I have that wrong. Either way I get what you mean and imo I really like the insanity concept. In the 50's there were a lot of superstitions maybe one of those could be implemented into her lore, Maybe something like this " (teacher name here) got fed up with her students acting out and not following orders no matter how many beating she gave them so one day she went to far and killed the child (not sure how she does it) the kids stopped acting up so even though the first was an accident the many that followed weren't. And she was eventually found out by the parents and they burned her at the stake for supposed demonic possession" but then again just spitballin' what do you think
-
This is a pretty cool idea I'd be cool with this. But I suck as skill checks so this would be my worst nemesis. Maybe have some perks that make skill-checks harder and it just seems like she should have an extra power that may be just me but she's just an m1 killer with a different hook maybe something extra for her.
Also the design is pretty cool. Maybe the finished design could be like a 50's style teacher thats all dried up with the bloodshot eyes and everything else you have. Almost mummified if you catch my drift.
-
It's decent you can certainly use it well. Honestly all his add-ons are good it just depends on what play style you're going for. If you're going for a madness build then yeah its pretty aight. But again it just depends on what kind of build you want. So in essence yeah its pretty good.
-
God going up against the a lot of the killers would be terrifying but I would be inclined to say wraith
teammates Dwight for gens Bill for saves and David so he would take hits for me

No sorry bro, i understand you quite a lot. I dunno why some people need to teabag and stuff like that. I notice that happens mostly in SWF games. I've never seen a survivor teabag or click when they play solo.
I remember seeing a lot at low ranks. I had asked a person why they do this and they said "I saw some red rank do it so I thought I was supposed to as well" I feel like that was just him but I like to think the only reason low ranks do it is because they're confused and it makes me feel better about it
