The perk gains no value at all if the survivor has an IQ of at least 5. It takes 3 seconds to activate after injuring a survivor and announces itself as a big bright red icon in the bottom right of the screen. It’s not underrated at all. It’s awful.

Then you aren't using it right lol

Maybe it's changed in the last year, but I doubt it.

I will say that it can be very boom or bust. Some matches I don't need it at all and it does nothing. Other matches it saves my ass by ending a chase extremely fast.

^ I can attest to this.

Not just on Wesker, I think people severely undervalue Dissolution. I remember making a whole post about the perk and a majority of people responding were talking about how horrible the perk is without considering what it actually brings to the table.

Used it on Huntress and Knight as well, iirc.

II'm Curious to see how it'll fare out. This might kill the "insta break with brutal" strat but I'm sure other Ken's will be right behind me maining Dissolution.

I ran Dissolution on Wesker for a long time. Very underrated perk.

  • Probably a test to see how it works out, if successful (popular), they will look into having it on other Dash Killers.

  • Not gonna lie, all these perks kinda suck.

Do No Harm is just a worse We'll Make It AND We'll Make It is a free perk.

Rapid Response is just terrible. Easily the worst Exhaustion perk.

Duty of Care almost sounds okay, but it's only really usable in SWF's who are looking to bully the Killer, imo.

Couple that with the weird Penti killing and the Haste/Hindered changes that are also pretty cheeks, yeah, not looking forward to seeing footage of this PTB.

Well, we all know the answer. Things have gotten so bad, that killers like Nurse and Blight need to tunnel. GHOUL needs to tunnel, or focus on just 2 people. There's no time to play any other way. I mean, yes, you can play just doing random chases, but you're leaving it completely up to chance at that point. If the survivors are decent, you'll be mega punished and will lose. If the survivors are bad, well then you can just do whatever and still get a win.

    Surely not.

Yeah it says that crybaby survivors like to go next on hook. Can't wait for BHVR to finally punish them for that bullshit. Go next prevention can't come quick enough.

    BHVR addressed that as well.

Obviously, DC's are already excluded from KR stats, but Hook Suicides accounted for just 2% of SM's KR.

Old BL allowed for the speed boost on a 60 second cooldown and wasn't exhaustion. This is still exhaustion, it's just the 75% stagger reduction is still applying even while exhausted. I can't think of any infinites this creates, it's just kind of annoying for pure M1 killers to deal with.

That's original BL. Old BL had Exhaustion but didn't have a cooldown on the stagger reduction, which turned Haddonfield (and others) into infinites.

Returning that, especially after so many years, into maps that were not designed for it will create infinites.

  • @wakesafe said:

No, they cost you the game like the Merciless Storm bug or Kaneki’s bugs. They aren’t breaking anything @Pulsar edit: messed up

Would it be an infinite if you're in chase though? Also most maps have giant holes right next to elevation vaults now so.

Yes. Dead Dawg main building is probably an infinite.

Some Haddonfield houses probably are as well.

    Maybe Shelter Woods

  • @wakesafe said:

Ghoul has tons of bugs rn he is not kill switched. When Merciless Storm reset gens it was not kill switched. Kill switch is reserved for game breaking bugs.

To be fair, genuine infinites (which I have no doubt that old BL creates) ARE game-breaking.

  • Mmmm, old Balanced Landing.

Perhaps people will realize with this small taste of what old Killer players dealt with that maybe, today isn't so bad after all.

Should be killswitched tho, for sure.

I want to ask you a question. Maybe it will seem stupid to you. Maybe you will ignore me and you will be right. I am absolutely serious because this question worries me very much.

Why, when I play as a survivor, do I see killers like myself?

I play as a survivor. Take the same period with the release of the Ghoul DLC. I met an army of Blight and Wesker with 4 slowdown perks. Various variations of Ghoul tunneling. Singularity with a slug build that is effective even after the nerf of Knock Out. Onryō that used the flaw in cartridges and canisters in bloody mode. I felt all the delights of tunneling and slug 3 survivors to prevent hatch.

All these killers had one thing in common. They wanted to kill and make 4 kills by any means necessary to achieve their goal.

When I come here to the forum to read opinions. I see a lot of people with a similar mindset to yours. I have a very strong dissonance. Where words diverge from actions. I even find it difficult to explain it clearly.

The first conclusion that I make is that something is very wrong with DBD.

The second conclusion that comes to me is that you are in the numerical minority and live mainly on the forum. While people like me play the game, and do not talk on the forum.

The third conclusion that I draw. If the truth were on your side. As survivors, I would play against someone like you. The current situation is such that I play against my own kind. You will forgive me very much, but I do not believe that if the killers were a real force (except for 3-4 chosen ones) as you say. They would play as if their lives depended on it.

I understand that killers are usually demonized in the DBD community, but they are ordinary people with whom you can negotiate. They are engaged in camping and tunneling out of necessity, and not malicious intent.

This is the paradox that torments me.

For the record, I don't enjoy hurting survivors. I don't make survivors suffer more than necessary. I just want to win and not feel pain myself. I honestly try to play 12 hooks sometimes, but all the results give me unsatisfactory results.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3910735#Comment_3910735

In my experience, even such teams are capable of making generators. One survivor is always somewhere there on the generator. Sometimes I wonder how they managed to make so many generators when they were literally trying to hit you with light from all sides. Plus, usually such teams have very strong mancers who are able to run calmly for 3-4 minutes while their comrades suffer from the slug.

I would say that their tactics also consist of dominating morally. They hit the morale stat like in some strategy.

Because it is the easiest way to win the majority of your matches. It takes far less skill to tunnel than it does to prevent a tunnel, which results in a lot of Killers winning more than they probably should.

I speak in what I want the game to be. The game has always rewarded lower-skill tactics more than high-skill. Tunneling has always been an issue. To counter your point that if "Killers were stronger they wouldn't be playing so hard" Eruption meta.

By FAR the strongest Killer has ever been. Eruption applied big regression and locked people off of ANY action for half a minute. Overbrine speed up gen regression, 25% chunk Pop and OG PR made for an absurd meta.

Did we see Killers stop tunneling? No, we saw it increase, at the time, I really thought it would. The easiest path to victory will always be the most popular.

    Simple as that.

I just want to break this vicious circle and tell you how things are on the other side. You are trying to impose a religion of fun on killers, when in the nature of killers the desire to kill. We have little choice but to negotiate with those killers who play the game (taking into account the feelings of the killers and then the killers will take into account the feelings of the survivors), or destroy this community of killers and replace it with one more convenient for you (raising new killers). Otherwise, we will all just continue to suffer in this long-term hell with no hope of salvation.

Personally, I would go back to 2018. I was much freer and happier there.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3910680#Comment_3910680

I would not be so categorical. Perhaps because some games look like this. It does not dispose to mercy. I have many of these in my collection (I love strong trophies). You just automatically learn to strike preemptively, because any weakness will cost you the game.

This screenshot is just a reference logic puzzle.

Which of us is right? Which of us is more toxic?

I assure you, I am a camper at the tunnel who knows no mercy.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/YVDKSXYFXH0O/260220250012.jpg

I am trying to talk sense and reality. I do not need your ideas on the Killer side of things, that is functionally the only side I ever played.

The reality of the situation is that Killers have more power than they used to. Not Eruption Overbrine levels, but the game is balanced to favor them. Woe is me gets you nowhere.

If you want to make people miserable, that is your prerogative.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3910629#Comment_3910629

Not necessarily generators any change that stimulated the spread of 12 hooks would significantly reduce the number of campers and tunnelers. I assure you, no one has fun camping and tunneling, but the desire to win is always stronger than any arguments for fun. No one will play to their own detriment.

They talked about sacrifice in the aspect that it is unpleasant to be in tunneling even if the other 3 survivors escaped, but we need to be broader in this matter. There will always be a martyr in the game if not 4 survivors then a killer. This sacred sacrifice is constant, as soon as 5 people load into the game. It's just that killers would prefer that someone else suffer, not him. Yes, I agree that this is very cynical and selfish. Nothing personal, just business.

We are reasonable people and for a decent price we could quite agree. Only killers need an equal exchange, and not a religion of fun. At the moment, it looks like only losses. No slowdown, no auras, no perk builds that become meta. One step left, one step right - execution. It literally feels like the perfect killer is 4.4 without an ability. I can't even say what perks the survivors would allow the killer to take.

The saddest thing is that the survivors' resistance has increased, which only limits diversity and pushes us into the killers' framework. We are doomed to play as a survivor against 3-4 killers and 6-8 perks for many years to come. With killers driven to despair that they play as if their lives depend on it. Because only such people find the role of a killer exciting.

I did not really ask to be proselytized into the Killer religion thing you have going on there.

This whole woe is the Killer main thing was almost true in 2018 but repeating it in 2025 is just silly.

Because tunneling IS a strategy. Tournament players use it. And camping too. Gens are done in 60 seconds now, everything has to be on the table for killers.. Trying to make the game ezmode for people who can't counter a strategy with another strategy is not REMOTELY the same as "no, YOU quit the game because you aren't allowed to use tunneling anymore because it makes the game hard 4 me."

It's time for people to get better in place of using nerfing as a "strategy" because Behavior is afraid to lose players who demand participation trophies. If you don't want to get better given the countless advantages (pallets and windows around every corner, basecamp BT, basecamp hook facecamp timer, no deadends anymore, survivors win the 8 generator kicks, survivors move immediately after knockdown instead of getting reset to killers' feet) then why are you playing? Why does Behavior have to keep giving you help instead of providing you opportunities to train and get better?

So if gens took longer, you think people would stop tunneling?

Good luck finding sympathy for console gamers. You're not going to find it here even if you're absolutely right. They tried to revert the autoaim for The Singularity and luckily for you they didn't succeed.

Once the autoaim is removed it will actually be a buff for mouse players. There are countless times you unintentionally hit a wounded survivor in chase, with strict aiming the mouse players will become even better. What nobody seems to understand is that it's a hitscan attack but The Ghoul has to move in order to perform the bite anyway. You may have been “shot” in a corner but you get the hit once you are already behind a wall. Add some ping to the formula and you have these fake hits.

    Shouldn't be an issue.

Hitbox definitely needs to be smaller.

Or am I not having sympathy for Console players?

How is anyone supposed to reach any logical conclusion when yall unironically think shes stronger than Nurse 😭

Let's not pretend you wouldn't be freaking out if SM had a 30% KR. Clearly, KR's mean something, but only until they contradict your point.

To the rest of your comment:

In a vacuum? No, she is not.

Taking into consideration her ease of use versus her power ratio, plus adding in her diabolical bloat? Well, now you start getting somewhere.

Just a lot of bloat on her kit."

… I agree! But the scanline mechanic itself wasn't a problem; it was the "random bullshit go!" approach in terms of the payoff for scanlines. They could have streamlined her power significantly, cut out the Haste and Hinder and given her some new method of lethality against clawtrapped Survs, but kept the scan-and-stack + clawtrap system the same and we wouldn't be having this conversation. I've been pressuring BHVR for that in my videos for the past 18 months!

    I don't think so.

Having a huge AoE scanning radius is not going to be a good design. It will either be too weak, which is what we have currently, or it will be too strong, which is what we used to have. Essentially, Legion-syndrome.

It seems to me that BHVR can make nobody happy. SM will not be happy until they get what they want and the community at-large is unlikely to accept that.

Hopefully, they give it one last shot and stop wasting resources on another failed Killer design. Sucks to say, but it is the truth.

To be fair, I don't think I've ever heard or met a single person who enjoys playing against Clown.

The main difference is that Clown doesn't have the leftover baggage from Chess Merchant hanging over him.

Clown also doesn't have the lockon pipping mechanic. Once you get a pip towards a tracking beacon put on you, there's no way to get it off without getting put in the dying state or just forcing it yourself by intentionally running into a beam. That's a pretty uniquely annoying aspect of playing against Skully.

Clown doesn't have a stealth component to his kit, either. I think a lot of people really hate getting injured in a way that feels cheap/unfair. This is why I think so much of the Ghoul feedback at the moment is on his ability to get free and basically unavoidable injuries, as opposed to what I think is his bigger problem that he still has pretty great chase potential and map presence on top of getting super free injuries, which is something Plague and Legion don't have

Skully's stealth isn't the main component of her kit, but she is unique in that she has no pre-warning or stalking mechanic. She just walks up on you extremely quietly and then M1s you. It's definitely the most obnoxious part of playing against her to me.

Skull Merchant's actual power in the drones is not really that bad to play against, at least I think.

I also think that Clown is rather intuitive to understand how to play against.

A lot of SM's 2.0 kit was not intuitive. Lock-on Hindered you, but she also got Haste. She could be stealth, pallets don't work with a claw trap, she enforced a leave loop or die playstyle which was pretty much every new Killer release at the time, not an issue specifically with her, but it didn't help.

Just a lot of bloat on her kit.

  • @Adriana_ghoul said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3910201#Comment_3910201

Absolutely she did in her scan line version, She also had problematic parts to her kit. However where is the consistency?

When you look at the other "annoying" killers and how they were handled:

    • Chucky got nerfed then rebuffed
    • Dracula got buffs
    • HM got huge buffs
    • Xeno had their changes instantly reverted and overall they were buffed
    • Knight got buffed
    • Twins received mild nerfs
    • Blight received mild nerfs
    • Legion got buffed

All these killers have had questionably bad rep over DBD. Why does only Merchant receive an absolute nuking and then their mains are told to go ######### themselves with a cactus by having their character deleted?

According to Chucky mains, he got dumpstered for a while.

Can't speak for HM or Dracula as they are after my time.

Knight got nerfed with his rework. His strongest, and most unhealthy, strategy was removed.

They tried a Twins rework and gave up. That is what awaits SM if we do not get this right.

Blight got some addon nerfs after YEARS of complaints. Nobody knows why they don't nerf Nurse and/or Blight.

Legion got dumpstered worse than SM for THREE YEARS before they changed him at all. Literally sat untouched for three years.

The only one that has had close to SM's rep is probably Legion.

I don't get how skull merchant 2.0 can be so despised but there's no commotion over Clown, who is basically the same thing.

There's definitely been some discussion on Clown over the years. He's never been a particularly popular Killer to face.

Main thing is that Clown is easy to understand, easier to counter and weaker than SM was.

I'm not saying that they should be reverted and be kept as is, I'm saying keep aspect that I and others like about skull merchant in her rework and not go with this current preview that they have in mind and try a different approach

which brings in to your question about which killer was brought back to the previous version was sadako

Bhvr brought back Sadako's first design when she was reworked last year, they brought back what people liked about her while incorporating new aspects of her condemn mechanic

The things you like are oft the things the community at large seemed to hate.

I do not know how to bridge the gap between two sides unwilling to move.

  • @jasonq500 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3910210#Comment_3910210

That makes no sense to say that because she's hate that means she needs to be rework

Skull merchant 2.0 was nowhere close to being problematic as she once was before to unlike her 1.0 variant, but she did have issues that needed adjustment

For all we know, people could hate on this 3.0 variant and still dc and complain against her whether it's a success of a rework or a complete catastrophic failure

Her reputation will forever be this hated

You must admit that you are pretty biased in this whole opinion of SM thing.

It is important that we get it right this time because I doubt they will continue to invest resources in what is, unfortunately, a failed concept.

  • @PixelBush said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3910198#Comment_3910198

"When has BHVR ever brought a previous version of a Killer back?"

They've done it before. Sadako and Billy have both had problematic reworks wound back because their mains yelled about it. Sadako 3.0 is basically a rebuild of her original version with a lot of the problems ironed out, and Billy mains were overjoyed with Billy going back to a non-Overheat state.

Why do Sadako and Billy mains get to have what they want but not us?

Billy is close but not the same. He also had to wait multiple years for the landscape of DBD to shift drastically.

Not sure when Sadako got her latest (?) rework. Don't play much anymore, probably haven't seen it.

Why do they get what they want? Well, Billy wasn't a problematic Killer before they publicly executed him. He had overtuned addons, but pretty much every Killer did at that point in time. His KR was fine and aside from Insta-Saw, people liked him. There wasn't a justification.

Sadako had one particular playstyle that was an issue. She also felt fairly weak outside of it. So BHVR, naturally, completely botched the rework.

SM, on the other hand, ushered in the single most hated meta in the entire history of DBD. When you think about Eruption Overbrine, you think SM. When you think of a Killer defending a 3-gen like it's their first-born child, you think SM. Even outside of that, she was a horrible Killer to face because her Drones forced more of the same, "I place power, leave loop or die" that we had going for years at that point. SM 1.0 wasn't even strong outside of gens, imo.

Even after her rework, she was STILL hated because they accentuated that playstyle even more AND turbo-bloated her kit. She managed to achieve over a 70% KR and was reviled at all levels of play.

TLDR; SM has a FAR worse rep than Billy or Sadako ever did. Billy was well-liked, Sadako had her haters, and the community at large wanted SM gone. Returning Sadako or Billy to their former selves, with fixes, was generally accepted since they had specific issues. Returning SM to her previous state will not be accepted due to her reputation being in tatters, her unengaging gameplay loop and the resulting public backlash.

  • I would imagine most people probably do not.

Since BHVR discounts any matches with DC's, those statistics are likely underselling what the real average match looks like.

  • @Adriana_ghoul said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3910124#Comment_3910124

2.0? You mean the scan line version? The reason she was nerfed was purely because of her kill rate and BHVRs inability to hire skilled data scientists who can interpret simple statistics. She was no more complained about than other "annoying" killers at the time.

Look, I mean, let's not be disingenuous.

I think even her staunchest defenders would admit that she has a pretty bad reputation, and the community complained about her constantly.

That's not really the thing up for debate here and it's confusing that you're even trying to make it a point.

  • @jasonq500 said:

This is very condescending of you to say that skull merchant 2.0 is never coming back

Skull merchant should at least keep her 2.0 aspect not delete them entirely, why can't you understand that

Why should only the majority be the only people who decides skull merchants fate, the people who enjoy playing her should get a say in all this too

When has BHVR ever brought a previous version of a Killer back?

It makes little sense for BHVR to bring back a Killer that was so, nearly, universally reviled that they dumpstered her rather than try to rework her previous iteration.

Makes more sense to try to find a new way to make her work. If you want her to focus on traps, sure, that's good feedback and I'm sure they are considering that aspect. Don't envy them, because Trap Killers are usually non-interactive and are tricky to balance fun with strength. Regardless, that is valuable feedback even if I disagree with it.

Insisting that she be reverted is not good feedback. They are not going to do that.

Not gonna lie, this is a heartbreaking read.

Were there any considerations given to the assassination of her established identity, the removal of all of the skill expression and unique technical gameplay of her current version? The sentiment among Merchant's players right now is morose; we're not getting a rework we're excited for, we're counting down the days before the our favourite Killer is taken out back and shot and it feels like our pleas for a stay of execution are going unheard

According to all the SM players I've seen, she already was already dead after her changes.

I hate to break it to you, but you aren't going to get SM 2.0 back. It makes zero sense, especially from a publicity standpoint, for BHVR to bring back a much-maligned Killer.

  • Hot take: I don't think Hexes, or Boons, can exist as a real meta in modern DBD.

Meanwhile the guy with more downvotes and alot less experience on forums is talking

Then let me jump in since we are using meaningless Forum points as a basis for arguments.

Tunneling happens for a few reasons.

    A) The skill needed to execute a successful tunnel-out is drastically less than the amount of skill needed to prevent, or win despite of, it.

Being able to tunnel is not difficult. One of the reasons oft cited is that it doesn't make sense to go after a healthy Survivor when there is an injured one right there. However, as Survivor, it is extremely difficult to prevent a tunnel out or effectively play around it. Both require coordination not usually found outside of 4-man SWF's and require a skill level not seen in most ordinary teams. Preventing a tunnel-out requires excellent coordination from the team at large and a good deal of skill from the Survivor being tunneled, which sometimes doesn't matter if the map is bad. If either one of those is lacking, you will not prevent or win against a tunneling Killer.

    B) The skill to reward ratio of tunneling is vastly skewed.

As we have previously established, tunneling in and of itself, does not take much more skill than simply playing Killer. However, the reward is so great that there has never been a single mechanic that has outweighed it. Removing someone from the game prior to three gens being done is a guaranteed win for the Killer, provided they have some semblance of skill. When someone is dead, the game slows down and skews massively into the Killer's favor. You could bring back original CoB, Overcharge and Eruption; make them all basekit, and it still wouldn't be enough to offset the reward you get from tunneling someone out.

Because of those things, Killers have realized that tunneling is the easiest way to win. Not the only way, as you contest, but the easiest and most reliable. Implying that tunneling is the only way to win is simply false and shows a clear lack of both understanding and an unwillingness to learn to play without it. Many Killer players, especially these days I fear, use it as a crutch. Not a bad thing, necessarily, but it is when you don't know what to do when it doesn't work except think that the other side is OP.

It sounds, to me, that you have relied on tunneling for so long that you have forgotten how to play without it. Regardless, this isn't really about you and your gameplay, though I am sure that influences your opinions, but about tunneling at large.

To summarize and stop rambling, tunneling is easy and effective because it is extremely difficult to deal with, so of course players are going to use and abuse it.

The biggest complainers haven't even bothered to try and find counterplay. Many have, and many have succeeded. If the Ghoul attaches to you to get over a god pallet, you can still get back around to it before he catches you. I've seen people do it. Maybe because they did the point tech while getting grabbed. And you know how he's supposed to hit you if you try to vault through him after he vaults a pallet? Endurance trumps it, because you take the hit and then slide through him anyway. Many, I see, are running Made For This and Resilience, seeing as he injures easy, or perks that give Broken like Deliverance.

Yeah, none of that does anything against a semi-sentient Killer.

He is extremely easy to play and get maximum value from.

  • I broke my retirement to test him out after being told he wasn't good at all and was actually Legion-tier. Lucky that my buddy shares his stuff with me lmao

I made it as hard as possible. I switched to an unfamiliar platform; I haven't played in close to a year AND it's during peak hours/event with no experience on the Killer.

My assessment? Yeah, he's pretty busted. Wasn't impressed by Survivor-quality, but I also didn't try at all.

I was told use VPN and join American servers but I don't like the thought of ping shooting up so I haven't bothered. I agree shouldn't be possible but matchmaking has been broken for a while so I just take it as it is

    Curious.

You could try to VPN to Frankfurt servers instead. Shouldn't be nearly as far.

I don't know how, I never have cross play off. last I heard it had something to do with UK servers being a small pool of players or the MMR or the time I'm playing but whatever the reason, I'm frequently getting swf squads. I mentioned a while ago about it, these swf would DC in loading screen when they see my offering. It's not just a 1 time thing either, it's happening so often a few of the swf teams I have been matched with have asked me to dodge them because even they are fed up with going against me lol they know my ping off by heart, they know my builds everything. It's crazy. They even know it's me at the start with the offerings I use.

That should not be possible unless they hard locked you to a regional server.

Most UK players used to go to the Europe Servers.

I wish I was getting your matches then because my matches is mostly swf teams, maybe 1 solo player. Huge majority of my matches seem to be 2 lots of 2 man swf and 3 man sed with a handful of 4 man swf. That's the reality of my matches. I know there are swf because they are the same teams I have faced previously. I went like 3 hours alternating between 2 different 4 man swf a few months ago. 100% not a myth lol

    How.

There's no way you should be matching with the same people back to back unless you are crossplay off

He's saying he wants to take you out on a date and finds you very interesting. You better offer up a smooch if he pays for the meal. Especially considering how much food prices have gone up over the past 5 years. 🤣

    (Kidding of course lol)

    unless.... 🤔

    👉️👈️

Smooch for food is a deal I will make any day

I thought he was riding off into the sunset or something. Pulsar is the dbd equivalent of "where is Ja?" So I was worried for a sec

"What does Pulsar think of Ja Rule?"

I think you're very interesting Pulsar. A watcher, a knower, and a legend of the forums. It's good to see you commenting on this and I totally agree. I wish that BHVR could catch up to where they could be smh my head

You'll have to forgive me if I ask you to elaborate on those comments lol, not sure I understand.

I also wish that BHVR would take full advantage of the incredible opportunity they have.

  • BHVR's biggest issue has always been how glacially slow they move and adapt.

That hasn't changed. Although, I do wonder how much longer DBD will run on its current engine.

To stop rambling and summarize, it is the same as it has always been. Some good, some bad, some confusing changes.

I guess not. I’ll say the one thing for sure. He’s definitely not even close to Nurse or Blight at the very least. If he was overpowered and had no counterplay I would be winning no matter what.

So he definitely does have counterplay. At least far more than Nurse and Blight.

I gave up on him. I put him right above Legion on the tier list. Sad too because I wanted to P100 him.

Starting to test him out, we will see how it goes. Queues seem bad. Haven't played DBD in 9 months and I even made it more difficult by moving to PC.

I literally have no clue. Just lost 11 more matches sense this post. Even with 4 slowdowns. I’m watching Otzdarva and Scott and trying to do what they do. It seems like even they lose almost every gen in every match.

To be quite frank it must be a skill issue on my part but I say he’s B Tier at best now. Getting downs is next to impossible on the vast majority of maps.

I’m definitely going to make a video of all my losses put together. I don’t see how I can play any better than what I do.

I might hop on and see if my only remaining DBD enjoying friend has bought him and if so, I might play a game.

Entirely dependent on my buddy. (He does have John Ghoul)

Sometimes though, you just don't jive with a Killer.

No, we can't. Those killers' hitboxes are garbage. We have to wait til survivors are locked into an animation or a hallway where they can't dodge.

If you removed the auto-aim on Ghoul, I'm not sure if people would ever land that attack.

I played Nemesis competitively on the previous gen of systems and the Series X.

    It is completely possible.

This shouldn't dissuade them from adding real Controller Settings or some kind of built in ReShade, for example. But to simply say it isn't possible is false.

You can’t play Nurse? I feel like you could if you really tried. She’s much easier than Kaneki.

He’s definitely not a free win like survivors are claiming or else I would be winning for free. Getting downs are impossible even when catching up and canceling my power. Literally perfect timing but it doesn’t matter because there are 1,000 pallets and windows chained together.

He’s only oppressively strong on bigger maps with few pallets. Other than that he’s pretty mediocre when it comes to getting downs honestly. There is no improving that I see I can do from watching videos. He’s just not that good at securing downs if survivors have one singular brain cell.

I get motion sickness easily. Nurse has always triggered it.

Curious how your experience is so vastly different

  • Just because you can't get value out of him doesn't mean he isn't strong lol

As an example, I cannot play Nurse. We just don't work well together and I can't get a handle on her.

That hardly means she isn'f the best Killer, just that I can't play her.
