@TreemanXD It's so funny when they catch u and facecamp you right?

Nurse is still the strongest killer if played correctly, the only big downside is that you need good fps to play her at full potential i'll post one of my gameplay when the conditions are optmal as i have hundred of hours with her on console. So if you talk about consistentcy i'd say Spirit at red ranks, but instasaw, enduring + sprit fury billy are also op.. There is also The hag, countered by flashlight, but you simply need to run franklin..i'd say against really good Survivors the most consistent are Spirit first, Hag second, Billy third.
@Poweas the fps now still suck, only 1 game out of 4 the fps are really good, but still nowhere near 60, only in kyf we maybe reach that, so i'm excited to see if they improve the game in the next patch, she would become a lot easier(i also played her when the fps sucked so bad so)
Here's some gameplay btw
@lunaticlifter I hope it gets improved. I want to see you playing in this FPS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYcrux-ONIgThat's me btw, when I was learning the Nurse. You could have pitted rank 1 survivors against me and I still would have won just as easily. Although I was using OP addons and got a lucky map.
But the FPS is what matters.
-
@TreemanXD Try Iron will and Spine chill, see when you get a Nurse and you'll see exactly what I mean. Easiest jukes 2019.
-
Here Pig, I'll let you borrow my Katana and we can check out the generator progress together <3
-
Ok, let me think.
No mither, no other perks and no addons.
Most useless build 2019-3019.
-
My proposition, is to (akin to a myers achieving tier 3) give him a small bonus to his attributes
No, like you said he has built in mindgames. No red stain after his cooldown alongside an instadown is MORE than enough.
Give him little buffs, and he'll be a disease.

Iron Will / sounds being broken atm definitely wreck her a lot, but then you're also just bringing in two perks to counter a supposed Spirit every game. (Not that Iron Will is bad)
@ScottJund the combo hard counters Nurse also. Since she looks at you when she blinks at you, so prediction blinks are impossible against a good survivor since they make no noise, and when you try to prediction blink, they can turn around once the spine chill lights up. It's actually why I run it, hard countering the two best killers is worth it. Also, Iron will is good in general since I don't run Self care.
You should try it, if you face Nurse and Spirit a lot.
-
PC Player BTW.
Easiest Nurse, (before you flame me, I run Spine chill and Iron will so I know when she's onto me and it makes juking her easier than most people find it)
Hardest, Wraith. He's got good tracking (enhanced hearing while cloaked) so it's difficult to juke.
-
Yeah.

She is very strong without being overpowered. In a chase, there is little a survivor can do to counter a good Spirit in the same way there's little a survivor can do to counter a good Nurse. Once the survivor is injured and they don't have Iron Will, they're dead.
@ScottJund I agree.
Also, what do you think of the Iron will and Spine chill combo vs a Spirit? I can demolish them using that.
-
Spine chill is strong because you know when killers try to double back sometimes.
Spine chill also does wonders against the top tier killers. Easy detection against Spirit and juking. Nurse is also easier to juke. Hag for when she is coming to you, she's not too bad countered by spine chill, but still it's effective. Billy, you can know when he's chainsawing to you since his saw is weirdly quiet nowadays.
-
@ScottJund I want to know what your opinion on this is, I mean Spirit in general, and not her prayer beads.
-
Ghostface is much better. He can multistalk and dominate a team.

Indeed. I'm glad you were able to learn something about Premonition today. Specifically, that it triggers off of both the husk and the actual Spirit as she's phase-walking. I also look forward to you switching out one perk that you don't need to one that you clearly do need.
@Orion being completely honest, that made me laugh my [BAD WORD] off. Lol. Although I personally think Spine chill is better. Premonition doesn't even have a larger range and a punishing cooldown.
This is coming from someone who used to use it, and now uses spine chill.
-
@NekoGlitch thanks, interesting results.
-
I like mind-gaming them as both sides. Open pallet loops suck though, boring for both sides.
-
It wont be Stranger things, since how tf could you make a proper lore around that 'thing'?
-
@Kebek said:
Tottaly agree, he's right above myers. Which makes me a little sad since origninal stalk daddy now doesn't hold much purpose to play except his dapper looks. GF is superior in every aspect I can think of except addons.
I hope they won't nerf now finally usefull Ghostface but rather buff stalk daddy Myers to make him feel more unique.
@Kebek if they add multistalk back to Myers, and increase his general stalking by 15% and increase his stalking movement speed to survivor walking speed, Mikey would be top tier.
-
@Jonathanskilz said:
I was watching Noob3 and the stalking ever stopped even if survivor looked at him looked at him really edgy and cinda unfair tbh might have had something to do with addons he was using but yeah
Personal opinion i think the stalking bar should go down at a small speed not just stay on 99 and expose status timer should be lowered.
@Jonathanskilz I think they should lose 10% of the bar every 6 seconds.
-
@Raccoon same! I play at high ranks anyway, but that's only as killer. As survivor I stick around mid ranks since I got the achievement and high ranks take too long for games now.
-
@PhantomMask20763 they only nerf the ones who make it to top tier, ie PTB Plague. Although the revealing camera view might be increased slightly because he's basically Myers and that's not how it works.
I hope it isn't, but they might.

Sounds like you claim that Wraith IS invisible. 🤣
You know Wraith is one of the Killers who suffers the most from the oh so popular looping, right?
He's not that bad at preventing the loop, but once he's in one, he's one of the few whose time is wasted the most.
Also Spine Chill wrecks this guy, it's a severely underestimated Perk in general.
@Boss he doesn't suffer much, unless it's a jungle gym or shack. Then he needs bamboozle.
To the OP, he always gets the first hit. No need to nerf him, he can suffer a lot from jungle gyms even if he cloaks. Normal loops, he can shut down.
-
@Ihatelife they should make bamboozle viable across all tiers, your suggestion is perfect for that.

see, where i think we're at right now is what we consider "fair" is different
in your given scenario, if survivors knew when she was using her power and did things like vaulting pallets or windows, she would have to actually predict survivors actions instead of just standing there and reacting to it. there'd be prediction on both sides instead of just survivors having to guess. it would be a fair playing field and would actually involve skill on both sides
people don't want this because they are used to spirit "outplaying" people by default. it wouldn't be fair in their mind because they would have to actually outplay someone
fyi, i've played less than 10 spirit games in total since her release. i just have a good pair of headphones and i know how good players use them from playing against them a lot. nurse is easier to win with but requires more practice to learn than spirit. winning with spirit requires no practice, just a basic understanding of her power
for the record, i'm not trying to dump on spirit mains. spirit is extremely fun to play. i just wish games against her were less of a dice roll, i hope that makes sense
@miaasma ok I see, left you a comment on ur wall btw.
I don't think standing still to see where they go is actually a viable strat. I see where you're coming from, but survivors can actually be really tricky and avoid it. I just had a game where I tried that only, and it didn't work on 2 of them, since they had tricky movement.
Also there is some counterplay, but it's in her favour yes. That's probably why she's so susceptible to genrush. I guess that's how she's balanced. If you pressure gens, she can't do much without Ruin (I don't use it btw, I like the survivors to have a chance). With Ruin, she's an easy killer. Idk, we don't seem to agree.
Also, Nurse definitely doesn't require more practice, since in 2 games, she was mastered by me. But then again, that comes back to natural talent with the killer like I easily mastered Nurse after becoming a PC killer, this thread is where I discussed it btw.
Ok so I play both survivor and killer on xbox. -
The better help bit is gold! I'd love to face you, you sound good. I'm at a similar rank too as survivor, look out for a 'Poweas' who is a Kate with white shirt and blue shorts.
Also, that's a beautiful calm manner from you lol.

I've never see so many people complaining about Spirit. Ironic because she is pretty hard to use, her power has time to recharge, she sounds loud, she's slow and well, she's about mind games (you can say what you want idc) and you have a price: you can down the survivor or lost him. That's normal. Not every Spirit main is 50/50. You actually need a brain to play with her. Just like Huntress. Win or loose, it's part of the game. It's just funny because you and these people here sound like "If i don't have control in this killer, then nerf!"
Y'all just think about themselfs, that's why the last killers are insecure to play. That's why everyone use Nurse and her boring playstile against good survivors. Thank god they won't nerf Spirit at the moment.
@PoisonN smart response, upvote from me.
-
@miaasma just saw this gem of a comment, and it's completely wrong and biased on your part.
people have convinced themselves that this constitutes a "mindgame" but you can't mindgame someone if they have no opportunity to react to anything. it's a guessing game and it's boring and the worst killer players find success with it
The mindgame bit, ok sure, that's fine. But the bit about worst killer players find success is offensive, untrue and blatantly shows your hatred.
Me, and other good Spirit players are NOT 'the worst killer players'. I can't tell if you're trying to annoy me or if you genuinely think that.
You're quite reasonable and you have some excellent points but that is a blatant lie. I can play any other killer and do well. I even played Huntress at rank 3 (the second highest skillcap to Spirit) and did well. I am far from 'the worst killer players'. And @MegMain98 is an amazing Plague.
I can even play Hag, another high skill cap and dominate. You should not spread that misinformation.

i was rank 4 when i last played spirit and it was easy. you can continue to just invent things to make my posts invalid if you want but none of it is based on anything
survivors have no input in interactions with a spirit, all that matters is whether or not the spirit screws up. survivors just have to hope she's bad. that's awful design
if a survivor knew when she was using her power, the playing field would be balanced. you still wouldn't know where she was coming from but you could at least attempt to outplay her. as it currently stands you don't even know when she's using her power so all you can do is guess
spirit doesn't have to guess because she gets tells for where survivors are in the form of scratch marks and sounds. she can also just stand still and then use her power in response to what she sees the survivor do before activating it. even worse, she can accidentally bump into the survivor mid-phase because she gets collision while phasing for some stupid reason, giving her another free tell
people have convinced themselves that this constitutes a "mindgame" but you can't mindgame someone if they have no opportunity to react to anything. it's a guessing game and it's boring and the worst killer players find success with it
@miaasma I'm sorry if it seems like I 'invent' things. I just have a lot of theories, because it feels so strange (to me) how you find Spirit a low skill killer. But to be completely fair, I consider Nurse low skill myself because I, like you, found her effortless.
You might literally be too good, or you faced bad teams. It's tough to tell. But looking at your rank, which is the same as mine, and I face SWF galore, I think you might just be good naturally. Like me and Nurse.
Even if that is the case, some of your points are still incorrect.
if a survivor knew when she was using her power, the playing field would be balanced. you still wouldn't know where she was coming from but you could at least attempt to outplay her. as it currently stands you don't even know when she's using her power so all you can do is guess
See, the playing field would NOT be balanced. Survivors would just vault over the pallets, or walk off with Iron will which ruins the sense of predicting and skill behind it. It'd pretty much kill Spirit.

running a perk is not counterplay
people should not have to run a perk in order to outplay a killer
if a killer has no in-game counterplay, there's an issue, and that perfectly describes spirit
unfortunately, spirit mains are just about as bad as nurse mains in that they've convinced themselves their killer is fair no matter what you tell them, so these topics never go anywhere
@miaasma she has counterplay, you need to get in their heads. It's all about predictions.
-
None, because skins don't intimidate me (as in having me wonder if I'll win)
In terms of which one looks scary, Jeff with the makeup gave me a heart attack once. I was using a mori on a toxic kate, and he appeared out of nowhere and I genuinely had a heart attack.

spirit has nothing to do with mindgames
we covered this in another thread
spirit is bad for the game
@miaasma she's not bad for the game. We both know that. I have a feeling you got dominated by them so you say this about her. Since I don't think you'd call her easy if you played her at the top of ranks.

@Poweas I love Nurse’s aesthetic and her overall character but I’m just awful. It wouldn’t be too hard on PC. Even if you’re bad you’ll stand a chance because she is just so powerful.
Nurse relies on the game running very smoothly. It’s why I have to play Spirit at high ranks (my FPS drops with Hag sometimes especially on Red Forest and Ormond). Even if I get screwed over by FPS she can still catch survivors on foot if need be. Nurse will never be able to. She basically HAS to be good at blinking or you’ll never win.
I have only killed all four survivors a handful of times with Nurse. Thankfully I already got the adept at a very low rank and it was The Game map.
@MegMain98 when they optimise it, I think you'll find her fun while learning her, but get very, very bored after a while. She's quite boring imo.

@paint1210 said:
It already be nerf in ptb. When you using her power or valut window, you original body shows not red stain.
@paint1210 can you make a thread about that? That's a major bug.
-
@Bravo0413 while I don't agree with Spirit being nerfed, I disagree with that statement. You KNOW that running a killer around has a lot to do with mindgames, prediction, and turning effectively.
Just because you've never played survivor doesn't mean it's as easy as it looks. That's like you dominating me with Nurse, and I claim it's because you were playing a braindead killer.
It doesn't work. If you're going to make a statement like that, show me proof you've reached rank 1 survivor. And that's coming from a killer main.
-
Yeah this works, reasonable.
-
@MegMain98 @NMCKE happens to be an excellent console Nurse main. I remember now that I faced him a couple of times back when I used to play console.

@MegMain98 good luck when you do! I used to play her on console (Back when it was 10 FPS and not 60 like it is now and it was just like 8 games) and I got stomped. But the second I switched to PC, with the turning, I was on FIRE. That's why I learnt her in 2 days, when you play on a more difficult platform, the other seems like a meme.
It's also why I want them to fix Nurse.
-
She's fine. Prayer beads should be butchered, and completely removed.
But she's balanced apart from that.
-
On PC, Nurse, Spirit, Hag and Billy. On console, Spirit, Hag, Billy and Nurse. Nurse can't turn well, but she's still good.
-
@Heroiq I'm so sorry you had to read that. I'll admit, as a muslim, I get nowhere near that much racism, the odd profile block but not anywhere near as much as THAT.

i faced survivors i knew weren't bad
the thing about spirit is that survivors have no input in interactions with her. ergo, survivor skill doesn't matter. you do equally well against good and bad survivors
once you understand how her mechanics work and how she's best played (phasing short distances mid chase and playing with her ears) she's piss easy, and there's a reason most spirit mains are potatoes on every other killer (same with nurse mains)
@miaasma you're literally saying that to a person who plays Spirit because he has mastered every other killer. Except Billy, but Billy is a headache.
I think we'll agree to disagree since we have such different opinions.

I was actually a lot better on console lol, I'm worse than I used to be on console. On PC, I SUCK lol.

@Poweas I never really personally get salty over Spirit players. Most of the time they’re hella boosted. Of course if somebody is good at Spirit you aren’t likely to survive, but a lot I’ve gone against aren’t great at tracking. I get the most salty over Legion and Billy’s chainsaw hitboxes.
Even I can be boosted at times. Last night my tracking was so off and I was playing like hot garbage. I had to stop playing after like my fourth round because I was playing awful. It wasn’t my night.
@MegMain98 I also have boosted games, mainly due to sounds but still boosted it happens to us all.
I can crush any Spirit with Iron will and Spine chill. It also happens to completely counter the Nurse. So my build is more powerful than you'd think at first glance :P

Two of the most underrated survivor perks in the game!
My current build is
DWM, Lithe,Spine Chill and Urban evasion.
I once made ragequit a Spirit with this build xD
@Andreyu44 I use Lithe, Adrenaline, Iron will and Spine chill.
You should use Iron will since some Spirits (me) can hear you going over the pallet and I'd give you an insta katana to the face :P. Iron will keeps it all quiet and makes is SO STRONG :D

@miaasma all wrong. Standing still and tracking them like that almost never works. They usually run to a window and then you have to waste your phase going around. Although, yeah she's not much of a mindgamer, she can create guessing games, where you have to try to predict the other side.
She's hard as hell at base (how I play her) since one missed phase can spell a defeat. And that's no exaggeration. But you're right about the mindgame bit, I should have said guessing game since she can create them to make all loops unsafe.
But no, she's not easy. You faced bad survivors.
Also with Huntress, I actually happen to main her, I don't speak about it much, but she's one of my favourite killers.
-
@Andreyu44 sorry that was someone else, you said she was braindead and ez pz to play. My bad. Still wrong about the braindead thing though.
