Lacks any decisive perks that helps mitigate cenobite's weakness, in short, you're gonna get rolled.
-
Depends on the killer too, for mobility and ranged killers its useful, for non mobile killers its useless.
Not because its takes time to reach there, its just not worth looking for a survivor not doing gens unless you have an incentive to slug them.
-
4k Slugging with Hag.
NOED triggers, NWO starts ticking, then gets the final hook on someone as Bloodwarden secures the kill.
Game, Set, Match.
-
I got a very important rule in High MMR; No one uses Self-care alone.
if they pair self care with increased healing perks, they're a Newbie,
If they pair self-care with a medkit, they're a Veteran,
If you see someone who runs self care without any synergy, they're a cheater.
-
I got bored playing demo most of the time since his kit is fairly balanced and you can practically win just by camping a 3 gen with his portals, it turns into a very long stand off though.
-
I agree though skillchecks only popup when there is a loud or distracting things happening in the game, its practically there to harass survivors.
-
Don't prestige yet says Otz, they'll make it easier by the next update, he said.
-
It's a Hacker's tool, if you see one person using Boil over and No mither, its a hacker and better prepare for massive BS, also record the game as soon as you see it.
-
Increase base speed. Reduce the horrible slowdown and cooldown whenever he misses a shot or reloads. Also remove the stun mechanic for when the survivors escape from the chain without getting hit. It's just punishing for the killer who actually does everything right but gets blocked by a tree in the middle of nowhere, not to mention his slow speed which fails to catch up to any survivor in a middle of a deadzone.
TLDR: Increase the speed to 4.6, reduce the cooldown and slowdown, remove the stun for failing to hit the target while on chain, and survivors should be downed if shot twice, even if you didn't hit them with an m1.
It's just crazy how punishing this killer is for how much effort and skill you put into it. Unlike the trapper, I get away with just M1 and smart trap placement, but this killer takes twice the time and effort to get a down only to be punished for being ineffective in every scenario instead of just rewarding actual skilled play.
-
In that instance, I'd much rather just play Trapper. Seriously, if I know I'm getting potato teammates or decent console players, I'd rather win as the Trapper.
Because it's just gambling at that point and Trapper is all about betting on the odds.
-
He's alive, that person is back!
-
I know why. It's because of:
Incessant camping and tunneling in low mmr,
Wraith is so easy to use in low mmr and so effective against newbies that most my low mmr games i'd have to take aggro and keep this guy from beating the crap out of my weaker team that it becomes a habit of mine to bodyblock, teabag and clicky just to keep this guy away from the other 3 potatos who can only press m1.

I find her tons of fun to play as and against, as well as several other people on this thread offering the same feelings. Why should your opinion be the gospel?
Then why aren't more people playing Nurse then? Tell me.

The nurse is a special case. She has the steepest learning curve and the highest skill ceiling. In every chart that the devs presented about kill rates, nurse is usually bottom tier. So nerfing her in any form would basically doom her.
My point is, that most survivors don´t take their time to learn how to play against a decent nurse and instantly dc or suicide, when they face a nurse. Which is a shame, because she breaks the mind numbing "running in circles" meta and replaces it with real mindgames.
Then why not rework the Nurse?! just because the kill rates are low doesn't mean we should keep her borderline OP, BHVR needs to fix it,
Just to reiterate; The Nurse isn't fun to play as or against with so we should rework her to be a more fun and playable killer.
Don't talk to me about killrates by that metric we should Nerf Freddy to the ground just because some people are having a hard time looping the "Worst killer in the Game"

2 bad doesn´t make a good. Just because Mendslinger has been nerfed into oblivion, doesn´t mean that other killers should have the same fate. The whole killer roster should be buffed, so that we don´t have 3 killers that are able to compete on high mmr.
I would have agreed if you were talking about Blight, because Blight is more fun and fair to play with and against, but The Nurse?
The Nurse is straight BAD and one of the worst killer designs in DBD, and the only redeeming factor that thing got was that it was only good when used by a select few individuals who barely count in the number of killer mains who actually play DBD for fun.
When you're up against someone who can't have fun, you're just practically beating the crap out of each other at that point.
It's practically The Dredge but on steroids and the most boring killer to play against.
-
@Tsulan said:
Whats wrong with nurse? Just because you find 1 god nurse in 1000 matches doesn´t make the other 99% you encounter OP. She still has the lowest kill rate of all killers.
Most importantly, if survivors actually took their time to learn how to play against Nurse, then no one would complain about her.
Dude I'm currently maining a weaker killer called Deathslinger, he was once nerf just for being mid tier at best and anyone who plays him knows how hard and impractical his ability and basekit is, yet someone who is stronger at high mmr and nearly close to being OP shouldn't be nerfed?
We want justice here. The Nurse has been broken for the whole time it existed in DBD and never gets the proper nerf it deserves.

I have never understood the idea that survivors are thesehive minded altruistic players who would all ignore gen efficacity if only killers were weaker. As if a survivor player is staring at a gen and going "hmmm Im NOT gonna press M1 on this just because we are playing a trapper". The far more likely scenario is they will get the gen to 99% before tee-hee bullying the trapper killer and getting out.
Then you haven't played trapper at all. you don't know even how many 4k's i got just by camping 1 person in the basement lol
-
Vigil and Hex: Thrill
Vigil with Sprint Burst can give you a speed buff every 30 seconds you do gens or walk around the map, it actually helps with efficiency since you won't have a problem doing gens anywhere even if you're in a deadzone since you have free get away every 30 seconds and you are guaranteed not to go down near the gen you're doing.
Hex: Thrill comes in clutch when protecting hex and preventing boons, it prevents survivor from destroying hexes for an extended amount of time and it gives you enough momentum to run around pressuring gens while you comeback and down anyone trying to do your totems.

BT is better against face camping.
If you're relying on DH to make saves consistently idk what to tell you.
Your point about Nurse is valid tho
Don't forget Desperate Measures with fully injured team you'll have enough time to dead hard the second hit, unless they're using STBFL.
-
Tenacity is what you actually needs, Power struggle is useless in SoloQ without Tenacity. you go down then wait a while then the killer picks you up then there's no time to crawl into a pallet.
-
Not really its mostly The Killer or the addons that makes survivors rush gens, like if its a Bubba you won't see anyone running around trying to body block for their team mate, the best they could do is rush gens, and if its a Nurse the surely would rush gens the first time they hear that screeching noise when she blinks.

Nobody takes those people seriously, and they don't represent the majority.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2961993#Comment_2961993
Yes, the onus of survivor fun does indeed rest on the devs. I'm not suggesting killers ease up or anything of the sort.
People should play the way they want to play, but if their playstyle happens to create an overall unenjoyable experience then they shouldn't expect those on the receiving end to be jumping for joy about it.
Most killers in this sub exaggerates a lot and enjoys torturing Below average SoloQ survivors for their fun rather than compete in the same MMR bracket they're suppose to be in. They all complain about dead hard and DS but never really cared for average SoloQ survivors who says tunneling and camping is unfair which are causing for the survivors to equip Meta perks in the first place.
-
There are still a F* ton of tunnelers and campers in Low MMR. Also, in my matches, there is a strong correlation with low skill plays and tunneling/camping, whereas when I play at high and average MR, I only die mostly due to my lack of use of "Meta" perks and very altruistic playstyle (mostly trading on hook when killers are camping or body blocking when killers are tunneling).
My best tip is that if you're afraid that a killer might camp you or your ally, equip Kinship to buy your team some time even if you die, or bring Desperate Measure and Sprint Burst to hook bomb as fast as possible, maybe giving both of you and the hooked teammate some necessary seconds to body block or Dead hard right after.

It doesn't matter if survivors bring medkits, it makes no difference. She can't secure kills, her power is far too unreliable and requires drastic changes to the width of each particle's hitbox.

https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/J5K65W6C3Q65/loss.png
I even tried bringing NOED but it hardly mattered, they break it anyway. Plague in the end has no power to rely on.
Who uses NOED on Plague!? Have you even tried looking for a proper Plague build?
Try this:
Hex: Undying, Hex: Thrill, Hex: Pentimento, Hex: Ruin
or
Thanatophobia, Hex: Thrill, Hex: Pentimento, Hex: Ruin
If you want you can go for Otz' Plague build, its practically wallhack on steroids.
Hex: Thrill will guarantee that your totems will not be cleansed in the first minute and gives you enough time to defend gens and totems while infecting everyone.

There is no justification in in-game mechanics.
But then there is no "why" in complaints because it is just... complaints.
It's not an intentional in-game mechanic, its a "bug".

who the F even told you to play fair?
They finished all the gens quite early and cleansed my totems mid game, I got at least 3 stacks of NWO, but NOED was all I needed to win the endgame.
-
So when are the cheaters going to start exploiting this?
-
If you're playing trapper, you might as well never know, cause sheet happens and people mess up most of the time, unless they're hacking.
-
I know neither VHS nor Propknight would kill dbd, they're not even trying to act like their part of the horror genre, DBD on the other hand does have the elements of a proper horror game, minus the players acting scared.

That's too bad, but that's part of the game. The killer can interrupt you while you are healing and down you causing your med-kit charges to be wasted.
Your problem is feelings of entitlement.
Yeah, Sure, Sloppy doesn't invalidate healing mechanics at all, so is my DS, it doesn't invalidate a whole chase, never at all.

Hemorrhage does not affect this interaction between you and these killers in any way.
neither does my DS but why do killers whine?

This has nothing to do with hemorrhage nor the killer play style.
You were just healing in a bad place or got caught by nurse's calling which is meant to help killers interrupt heals.
Knowing when you can safely heal and when to try risky heals is part of the survivor's skill expression.
Have you checked my previous posts, it works extremely well with undetectable killers who can tunnel out survivors. There's no safe time to heal, if the killer wants you out of the game first you're not going to be able to heal nor outplay him.
The killer will leave to kick a gen and then when you get unhooked he comes back to tunnel and when you try to heal boom nurse's calling. Rinse then Repeat, free 4k everytime.
Every survivor goes down after a while, but injured survivors can only last for a few seconds.

Your problem isn't hemorrhage. Hemorrhage doesn't really do much if the killer interrupts your heal and then downs you.
And also, so what? It's a valid strategy.
I have no problem with looping, My problem is If I'm using Built to last how am i suppose to finish a full heal when i have to do 12 second locker break every time I can't finish a full heal, it a waste of a Extremely Necessary MEDKIT that I PAID for with BPs.
It invalidates a whole Strategy regardless of Survivor playstyle, There's no avoiding it.

Have you tried finishing a heal with a Wraith or Twins chasing your A$$, its f*cking IMPOSSIBLE
They hit you then leave you, then come back and boom your caught off guard, Medkit wasted, Another person DEAD.
-
Give up and just wish for an adrenaline vial nerf, maybe then we'll know who's the professional blight mains and the juiced wannabes.
-
Spirit take off the add-ons and its just a predictable peekaboo killer.
Claudette they're either comp players or just wannabes.

I got an easy 4k with Trapper agaist SWF in Haddonfield, The 3 gens in that map is ridiculous and its my most favorite one right now.
One inside the house, one infront of the house and one over the side of the house, They couldn't do jacksheet. LOL
Not to mention the huge deadzone on the same side of the map.
-
Sadako who? All i see are Yoshis and even then they're not that many.
-
When you're playing Nurse you can snowball anytime and its f*cking ridiculous, you don't know how much 4k i get whenever I camp/tunnel someone and everyone just loses their sheet and start homing in like drones to defend that one person, Yeah, sure, free 4ks, I'll take it.
-
This Community whines a lot, I've been playing Trapper, Legion. Hag and Ghostface before the MMR change and you don't see me complain.
Dude if you really want to brag how good you are in game rather than playing fair, play some weak killer then proceed tunnel, camp and hook them 8 times and after you down them before the 3rd hook let them go, they'll think you're friendly and thank you most of the time,
its better to teach less skilled players how to deal with extreme methods rather than 4k'ing them then asserting "GGEZ" in chat, it pays to humble and to humble others rather than ruining their day, that's how i play after my mmr massively drops whenever i lose to SWFs.
Stop acting like anyone's entitled to anything and just have fun.
But if you're against less skilled Sabo Squads show "No Mercy".
-
It helps with tunneling, Hemorrhage + Tunneling = 4k GGEZ
It actually makes Wraith viable in High MMR and extremely oppressive at lower tiers, it makes healing null and what's worst is that it makes medkit downright useless if the killer knows what they're doing, I've been using it on most of my m1 killers and its practically a hard counter to the healing meta.
Hemorrhage hard counters Built to last(Medkit), Self Care, Resurgence, COH and any slow healing meta is dead.
-
Harder than ever, if you haven't played against Wallhacks Survivors, Spinechill or SWF then you haven't suffered yet. He's nowhere near as capable as before, His kit is overly complicated and still suffers from the reveal mechanic but amped up to 10.
I also never used Add-ons on Ghostface cause Killer shouldn't be relying on add-ons to be viable and his problems are apparent with his current basekit.
My Solution is to add a small sprint or dash mechanic where he cannot be revealed for 1-2 sec and can only be used once per power activation.

Dude, i'm not gonna tell you to give up, i'm just gonna advise you ahead of time that the people you're arguing with are as stubborn as brick walls and doesn't know what they're talking about or wouldn't know when to quit, if they were they wouldn't have kept playing this game would have just moved on.
also they couldn't make half the effort you did in your post with their comments even if they do know how to play Nurse.
You're smart don't waste your potential in this game and its community. Both would just makes your brain foggy and stressed.
-
NOED builds, Pentimento builds, Heck if you want you can pair it with Thanatophobia and it would be near impossible to finish that totem. It's extremely powerful on the right builds but on its own its weak.
