A person shouldn't have to wait a few MONTHS in order to properly play a new game they just bought. Like I'm not mad at you, but, I'm mad at the fact that that's even a thing. What if in a few months when it hypothetically settles it turns out they don't like the actual game itself, not just the currently borked matchmaking? Too late for a refund, that's for damn sure.
I can understand that and refunding may be the best option if mmr doesn't get fixed :/

I'd say getting rank 1 killer is difficult. As for survivor though if you got a good SWF they can pull you to rank one easily.
-
If you do insist on playing killer I strongly recommend you main Freddy. He is by far the easiest top tier killer to master. You should be able to get good with him pretty quick :)
-
If your a new survivor I reccomend going on the DBD discord and find an SFW that can help carry you and make you learn quick. As for killer I'd wait a few months until mmr is properly implemented.
-
You gotta remember that for every killer player their needs to be four survivor players which is part of the reason for it I am sure. The old system heavily favored old killers over new ones. With mmr it helps new killers find matches easier at the expense of veterans so everything has trade offs 😅

I disagree, I think NOED is a must on new killers. It can give you a second chance when you have a bad game. Survivors complain but they got plenty of second chance perks like decisive strikes. Some killers complain but they got better teachable perks so they no longer need it. Saying that as a killer main and SWF Survivor :)

I will admit their can definitely be some toxicity with survivor. But the same thing can be said for killer. Toxic people will be toxic regardless. Saying that as someone who has spent a fair amount of time on both sides.
-
I'd reccomend using both of Legion's duration add ons. Legion has insane map pressure when he has enough time to go after the entire team across the map.

I’m the exact same Hence why I came up with this idea. What do you think of it?
As a killer main, if your rework became a thing, this is what I'd do
1. Target the teams weakest links to gain tokens
2. Mori the team's MVP without hooking them once
So I don't think your mori is the best rework. Here was my rework
Cypress Mori: 1 mori once exit gates are powered since last survivor is pretty useless
Ivory Mori: leave as is
Ebony Mori: One kill without hooking
Survivors also don't depip when they get mori'ed
-
The problem with tier lists in my opinion is variables such as map and add ons which make it tough to really rate each killer.
-
I got an interesting fix for NOED that I'd add to it.
1. The NOED Hex becomes a dull totem when you hook a survivor
2. While the NOED Totem is active, survivors are able to recover from the dying state
This would make NOED still fun for the killer but give survivors more of a chance against it :)

I mean I have seen rank one Clown's so he's not as bad as they claim. I do agree though that a small buff is in order but I think your suggestions would be to OP...
-
Bloodwarden is already pretty useless now with the endgame collapse already in my opinion. I think it definitely needs a rework with the endgame collapse in mind since it was not built for that.
-
Honestly the endgame collapse timer should start the moment all the generators are powered in my opinion.
-
I miss Billy with charge add ons, yeah it was overpowered but not as bad as spirit. At the same time though spirit has been nerfed several times so I don't know how much you can really nerf her :/
-
I definitely think Legion's add on's need a rework most of all because most of his add on's are a lot worse with the rework as they were made with his old power in mind.
As for Bubba I think its a bug as the add on's say one thing and do another.
-
Veteran players can do well without NOED but it is definitely very helpful for new killers with not a lot of teachables and experience. If it weren't for NOED I may have gave up on killer entirely. As it helped make sure all my games weren't losses when I was still learning the mechanics and strategies. It also causes survivors to cleanse totems which helps prevent gen rush so overall I think its a great perk and I don't think it needs any changes to it.
-
I know someone already said this but I think skillchecks would be a better choice. You still get that fight for your life feeling like the old struggle and feel like your making a difference. Also you could make a tremendously difficult skill check that'd allow you to unhook yourself. See so many more opportunities with this.
-
Yeah I mean if I am playing a weak killer with not a lot of pressure like clown and am against strong survivors I think the current mori system helps level the playing field and turns the match from an easy boring win for survivors to an actual challenge. However if I am a strong killer with a lot of map pressure like Freddy against not so good survivors it feels very overpowered and can ruin the match.
If with the new mmr they made it so you match with players above your skill level when you have a mori equipped that might help balance it. Although I cannot say for sure...
-
As a killer main I am not a fan of ebony mori's for that matter or cypress mori's. Here's be my alternative changes.
Cypress Mori's: Can kill one survivor once all generators are powered (That way killers don't gotta hook camp end game :) )
Ivory Mori: Leave as is
Ebony Mori: Limit it to one survivor like Ivory but remove the hook requirement (so I can kill that one toxic player with object of obsession whose been flashlighting me the whole game :) )
Anyway that's my thoughts.
