The new gen sounds were a lazy afterthought. Even Technician didn’t lower the noises.

Also it was obnoxiously loud playing survivor

Your a baby! Not 1 of you even knows what a gen sounds like when its being hot wired.

  • @SnakeSound222 said:

Gens aren't cars. I don't mind new gen sounds but the car didn't sound good at all.

It was a hot wire sound. Don't be so picky SMH

  • @myers_obsession said:

Did you really removed the engine sounds bc of a few complains? Is that how it's going now? No surveys, no longer testing?

Thats just how gens sounds, that are being powered. Me and my friends really liked it. It was cool, refreshing and realistic. Btw the gens sounds really dull now.

100% agree with you. I was a nice New touch. I play both sides. Survivor mains were crying, It's not stelthy, my tenitus, blah! I liked how it made survivors pay more attention. I'll add they're allergic to gens before, Now "before the revert" they just wouldn't do them. 80% of every game is a survivor gotta keep them happy no matter if it was a GREAT addition or not.

So what I am reading is you are actual garbage and need to get easy wins to stay invested in the game. Personally I prefer playing against swf because some of them get too altruistic and it becomes their undoing. Learn to play the game and you won't have such a problem. You guys are probably the same ones complaining about "gen rush" even though thats not a thing either. Haha.

Garbage? because I believe swf is basically game breaking. I'm aware of how to play the game. swf is unbalanced with all the info leaking. The cross map chat is stupid. I play both sides. Honestly 90% of survivor annoy me. no matter what side I'm on. Allergic to gens, DCs, Dull totem first, hiding al game, not using every moment to do something useful. On the survivor side I see way too many people just running around or crouching somewhere. On the killer side swf just has too much info, like telling I have spirit furry or other perks. I don't use hex;s cuz they're practically useless if I go against swf

This is an interesting situation to me. I don't like playing survivor solo. Its just not even close to as fun as it is with friends. This is mostly due to the complete lack of communication. If they had a voice chat system like with Friday the 13th then it would be much more enjoyable to me, but I just hate "Team" games that prevent any communication amongst the team, its always a downside to me. But at the same time I do understand why it can be frustrating going up against (I prefer to call them) Premades, too much coordination can be very hard to deal with in an asymmetric game.

But keeping something that is pretty much ingrained in me from Friday the 13th, when I play as killer I tend to focus on one of two survivors at a time. I mostly play pyramid head and I'm good at forcing survivors into Torment status, so while I don't often get all 4 kills I make sure I atleast get 2 but more often 3 kills. Final Judgement is my coup de gras, I always try to force survivors into struggle status, in order to get that instant finish that nothing can save them from. If a group of players is sabotaging too many hooks then atleast I can use cages to force them into struggle phase despite how awful I find the cages to be. I satisfy myself by going for as many kills as possible, but never worrying about getting all 4. I might be "tunneling" or "Camping" But I will do what I have to do to make sure atleast SOME of the survivors are dead.

So you camp to struggle and mainly play swf cuz it's too hard with out knowing everything. case closed-BS player

  • Off. I just don't care. pc has a bit of an advantage from what I've heard

  • flyguy & bm33 those are good thoughts!

  • I wouldn't mind some sort of trash items option or resell for 10% on the web worth. I have a ton of useless items. Especially map offerings.

  • No more comments from me today. I made my point about the DC dilemma

  • NEXT GAME after writing the last post a player DC'S OMG! I need to steam ofr something to show how bad today is in this game. The player was on the second hook with half struggle left NOONE else has been hooked I was finishing a gen 80% done a meg come to help. There was planty of time to save and they let go!!. Guess what kid had a fortnite gamer pic. Devs PLEASE LOOK into this issue I don't get it?? PS4. DC all day long almost every game

  • Just played 2 more games. escaped 1 and the next the killer got 3 hooks then 1 gen left. guess what?....Killer DC this is outrageous. Can we just play the game?

You cant control who plays and who does not.

If you lose internet once a day, that shouldn't mean you should not play.

Perhaps get over yourself a bit and stop trying to police a video game.

Perhaps add something usful to the conversation

  • I think it was a great idea adding the premium and letting everyone earn back the cells. They thought what if everyone invested $10. That would be a huge revenue and they could keep it in game to earn cosmetics over and over for years to come. win win ;)

  • it's a looong process, but if you want the premium you get all your shards back to use on the next rift. Don't invest until it's complete. If you only are playing for the free content you shouldn't care. I would like a bonus of some sort for 100%ing each of the 4 sections and all 4 as well. It wouldn't need to be much, but it would be nice. I would like higher rift fragments for the later sections. I only have 3/4 challenges left. only 1 is worth 5 fragments "devour challenge" and I'm only at 58

I get what you mean but if you would have to wait it out for 30 minutes, why shouldnt they leave then of the penalty is also 30 minutes anyway?

Like i said i get what you meant and you are right with that, but repeated DCs still should be punished harder. (if the DC penaltys come back)

30 min. would GREATLY defer babies from quitting and if not good bye!

  • WOW just hopped back on after being on this forum and a player DC'd in the first 3 min from being tunneled after a hook. So tell me again how this doesn't need to be addressed

  • Yes/ NO I don't care. Babies should stick to fortnite . Harsh punishments will be the only powerful solution.

  • Then the game needs to realize downed/interrupted to DC time if they are to close together. HARSH penalties for them.

  • When players get downed and then DC. It's not the internets problem

  • @Clevite said:

    Not going happen.

They should be short for first timers.

It is the repeat offenders that are the problem. Not the guy whose internet crashed once.

Like I said bad internet don't play. People DC left and right 2 game today and already a dc in 2 min of playing. If you can't handle getting caught and you throw a fit get lost.

  • Dude everyone would play ranked for special rewards. You know that.

  • swf is noob mode ;)

  • I made a perfect example on how to keep ranked busy. Maybe unranked would be slow cuz to be honest who really wants to play against a swf. Unless there was a High unranked killer reward

  • unranked gets shards and points, Killer gets x2....at least blood points

  • Ranked rewards would make this a busy mode. I'm sure everyone would agree with that

Oh, I am not very good. But you can be sure that I will be far more optimal when playing Solo, because I have to. If I play in SWF (with one friend), I am less optimal because a) I dont pay that much attention and b) I know that at least one teammate is not a complete potato.

What if the killer had the entity helping. It would be much easier, But this doesn't exist. Instead every second counts as a killer or we will get owned. Definitely against a swf. You admit swf is MUCH easier

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

You want long queue times? Because thats how you get them.

If you lose 99.9% of the time against SWFs, you are pretty bad.

You play swf you need a crutch and are obviously not very good

  • @PingBallMaster said:

I was playing as blight and went against a no mither, it was impossible to slug/win the game. I am asking the devs to either nerf or ban no mither due to it being unfair towards killers who want to have fun. I was just sitting down playing some blight when this david had no mither which he must of been hacking due to that perk being level 3. I am really sick and tired of facing overpowered no mithers and hackers. Please fix this devs, thank you.

Ha! XD that's a first. every time a no mither player is in my solo que w fail mainly because of them. :(

  • @Breque said:

No i wanna play the game with my friends

You have to admit you are leaking info like perks, killer location, who's almost done w/ a gen what gen is almost done if you get chased off. People waiting a a door knowing the last gens almost done. coordinating if someone's on death hook to get the attention off them. THE LIST GOES ON. SWF IS A CHEAP EZ WIN 99.9 % of the time.

  • @Frontdoor6 said:

Like i said, i keep playing killer but its mostly ruined because of massive SWF groups, they treat me like a joke and gen-rush me, it makes playing killer unfun sometimes and i feel we should be given the choice to play with SWF groups or not.

I have Aspergers and losing so badly to SWFs groups makes me feel very victimized.

There are times when i win, i don't always lose, but SWFs groups making fun of me still gets to me a bit.

Please, give people the option to cancel out SWF groups or do something to identify who is SWFs in the lobby or not.

No Changes will ever be made. Though I WISH there was a separate mode where swf get less points and killers get double for the extra challenge. Or rank matches are solo ONLY. It's undeniable the cross map info leaking chat is so unfair. Solo vrs. swf is drastically different

you can dodge both by closing the game on loading screen this is the dumbest argument point

I've been dodging Moris lately in the load screen. I'm over it. I said recently what if there was a Ebony Repairman offering 300% repair speed of ALL=MORI's. If ebony isn't changed to the death hook I will dodge them FOREVER!

To killers: Just play the game. To all survivors: STOP bringing a KEY...JUST PLAY A NORMAL GAME. These EZ crutches annoy me.

I don't hate keys I just hate seeing them so often. I Love seeing Mori's, but the current ebony is ridiculous

  • @Ekthanol6 said:

Just had 2 games in a row where the last 2 survivors just jumped in the hatch infront of me while all i could do was to stand and watch because of a key

First game they bringed in a key but i didnt see it at lobby so i was suprised by them opening the hatch but fair enough

Second game made a 3 gen as blight killed 2 of them 1 of them found a key in chest and the hatch spawned right next to them

after that last game i finally realized why people tunnel and bring moris because the game forces you to do this or you just get bullied and "outplayed by a key spawning in a chest "

But atleast the killers are the power role right?

I've been playing for 3 years and I have never seen so many keys. People bringing them and I've seen keys spawn in multiple killer games for survivors when NO ONE is using plunderers or any luck offering. It's kinda crazy. the games giving them out like candy on Halloween

  • I like the Blight character and perks. Bumping face first into objects is kinda funny and Definitely dumb. I don't get this power concept??? to odd. Felix is all around generic looking and has perks that I don't see a lot of use in. I'm surprised ya'll like it.

Using moris to get kills is CHEAP.

Escaping with the key is CHEAP.

Getting kills because of Iri Head Huntress is CHEAP.

Tunnelling and face camping one player is CHEAP.

Seems like we're all cheap and cheaters.

I agree 100% Don't be part of the problem

Because killers get annoying sweaty swfs all the time so they start playing like jack a$$es to even the playing field. Blame SWF not killers

Killers don't make me mad Survivors do. No mater what side I play. I notice less that 1% of games I play the Killers DC. Seriously over half of games I play a survivor DCs. They even DC on the Death hook?? There was a Kate and Claudette running me around yesterday. They were good loopers. Ultimately I got Kate again and put her in the basement. She was on her struggle hook. As I was leaving the area I saw Claudette going for the save. I go after her get a hit then down her as she makes the save. I can't see Kate so I pick up Claudette then Kate tries to unhook right in front of me I grab her and she DCs. I don't care. Do these players think they're denying me the kill?? It was a Cherry on top with the penalty. She needed a time out. Funny, I guess she expects to win every game....NOPE!

  • @CashelP14 said:

Play swf. Fixes 99% of your problems.

Swf map chat is basically cheating. Leaking all info across the map to everyone is game breaking for the killer. SWF is CHEAP

  • When opinions are to tunnel/Camp/Mori to win instead of playing smarter or when I make a post about more diverse survivors and say NO or trolling comments like yours. I'm confused

  • Ok I'm a bit of a hypocrite. I tunneled and Moried a player today. Why....I was playing as a survivor against The DeathSlinger. I did practically ALL THE GENS. "NO exaggeration" A Nea was the obsession. I saw her many time not doing anything. Not a single moment on a gen "Bond & Kindred tells all", She NEVER got hooked. I saw she was chased and put into the mend state many times. Everyone died. She was sandbagging players. When I finished the last gen I got the door. I noticed she kept mending and being chased. I stayed to help even though I had a feeling the killer and her were working together, but wasn't 100% positive. I got shot. He pulled me far back trying to make sure I wouldn't make it out. Nea was standing right there. I was pissed. YES I made it out.

The next game I played as a Killer and Guess who was in my lobby. The same NEA :) Green mori and tunnel for her. Pay backs a B****!

Franklin's Demise has earned a permanent spot in my Pyramid Head build because it gives him a huge advantage:

    https://youtu.be/ztrHLO0juEg?t=9

Franklin's Demise destroys items in 90 seconds, Mannequin's Foot add-on makes Rites of Judgement trails last in the environment for 95 seconds, and picking up an item forces survivors to stand up, so if you cover an item knocked out of a survivors hand by FD with a trail, you force the survivors to make a sadistic choice: Lose your item, or get tormented!

This is particularly vicious to Keys, which unlike other items, lie flat on the ground instead of hovering a few cm in the air, so they get completely covered up by the trails... you guys have no idea how many keys I've destroyed this way.

Now remember guys, only use this information for goo- HA!🤣... oh man, I couldn't complete that with a straight face... Go nuts evildoers! And always remember "if survivors never hold back on their builds and tactics, why should you?" 😈

YES! I like how you think. \m/

  • Wanted: Candyman + Pinhead. Does this really need to be explained?

Not wanted: ??? = The more the merrier or should I write SCARIER! As for all the Springtrap haters I wouldn't mind it. I haven't played that game, but I think it looks creepy.

  • I NEVER DC. I only give up on hooks when I see nobody doing gens and just running around or hiding. The match feels hopeless and I don't care about a worthless group. Next game

  • YES! KEEP THE NEW SOUND.

  • Tunneling and mori's are for noobish chumps.

  • Ever notice how EVEY post someone says NO??? this forum is unbelievably disagreeable

  • @TAG said:

Only if the Survivors are able to power through the gens very quickly. If you tunnel a Survivor out of the game with a mori (saving yourself an entire hook's worth of trouble), you are nipping that in the bud super hard. Not that I really like moris or keys in their current for, but I digress.

I disagree w/ you. My statement is prefect solution and make a excellent point about mori's and tunneling

I generally don't run self-care. But I feel that desperate measures has changed my stance on this.

My current build is , self-care, desperate measures, mettle of man, botany knowledge.

The strategy is not to rush gens, but instead prevent the killer from snow-balling. I'm rank 1 as both killer and survivor and I noticed as killer that survivors who rush gens usually lose when I snowball the game.

So this build is very aggressive about protecting and healing team mates and if I can reduce the pressure that the killer is applying our team can win. I've yet to lose (lose as defined by having the killer kill 2 or more people in a match) while running this build. This is at red ranks.

The way it's played. Get on a generator until a team mate is hit. Once injured I get off of the generator and immediately attempt to find the survivor and killer. It's important that I don't sand bag my team mate, but at the same time I act as a distraction or body block for the team mate. If the survivor goes down and I think I can stop him from getting hooked I do. If I can't prevent the hook then I wait until it's safe and I unhook the survivor. I will generally run with a yellow medkit (which with these add-ons lasts all game). I don't use the medkit unless the killers terror radius is nearby. If the killer interrupts I body block to allow the survivor to escape. I can heal myself at 95 percent speed compared to having a team mate heal me. I'm telling you, this build is insane. I've actually had mettle of man go off in a few games.

Players like you annoy me to. Nothings worse than someone not doing gens. Think of all the time you spend waiting around. I bet you could do something more productive.

  • @PigMainClaudette said:

It's common knowledge that a lot of people on these forums don't like Self-Care. That's fine. You do you.

What I'm doing today is just sharing why I use Self-Care on ALL of my builds that I have the perk available for, outside of custom games with friends.

I'm the type of survivor that likes to have two health states. I'm quieter when at full health, and I'm not immediately screwed if I make a mistake in a chase against a majority of the killer roster. I don't hate Iron Will, but a second health state feels more beneficial to me.

"BuT jUsT uSe InNeR sTrEnGtH oR a MeDkIt ThEn!" Sure, I could do that, or I can also go with a perk that has INFINITE USE, and isn't completely negated by a single perk that a killer is likely to bring after seeing at least two other items in the game. I don't like that Inner Strength is tied to totems, something I hunt fairly often to deal with NoED because you lot won't, and I hate that Med-kits can be dealt with Franklin's Demise entirely.

Both of those solutions also run off a limited resource, which again, I hate having. Yes even as a Pig main that has a limited number of my primary power.

Lately in my main build that I am running, I've also got Resilience, so having a perk like Self-Care that allows me to be at 99% healed, activating Resilience, and being at basically full health because I have eyes, ears and Spine Chill to tell me when the killer is near to pop my healing. Something I cannot do without comms is warn the other survivors of what I am doing. Extremely detrimental as a solo player.

There have also been a lot of times, again as a solo player, where I've had to scramble and ditch the person who just unhooked me because the killer is returning to the hook. No survivors then make contact with me for a solid while, so I'm left alone to heal myself. Even at red ranks. With a lot of survivors also caring about splitting up and "generator optimisation", you're then not always guaranteed to be nearby another survivor provided they also haven't removed themselves instantly.

One thing that everyone covers is the amount of time that Self-Care takes. It's literally the same time PER SURVIVOR as getting someone else to heal me base, and with Resilience it's even slightly faster for me to heal myself if we want to go there. Don't get me wrong though, I appreciate the healing if you're here and going to help me, but you have to actually be there to heal me.

Now something that is also rarely covered is that Self-Care in a split team can also rob the killer of some potential pressure. Let's say that they are a stealth killer, with A Nurse's Calling, and they see me Self-Caring or you healing me. They down me because I can't get away in time because I didn't notice them. If you're there too, they can just slug me and chase you meaning the killer has even more pressure with two of us now removed from doing generator work, where as if I get done by myself, then there is a chance they will leave me. Especially if there is the threat of Decisive Strike. No this will not come up very often, but it's still something that I have had happen to me on both sides. I know full well the risks of using Self-Care against a majority of killers, and I take measures to ensure my safety while I do so.

It's also surprisingly easy to get, especially since Claudette and Dwight are two of the best characters for a brand new player to start with, or at least those are the two that I recommend in a heartbeat. Claudette is base game, where as Nancy is locked behind a paywall of the Stranger Things DLC or Auric Cells, or the luck of the draw with the Shrine of Secrets. Med-kits are tied to the Bloodweb, and for anyone who knows about cycling them for specific perks/add-ons/items can tell you, "consistency" is not a word that the Entity knows.

I'm not here to convince anyone to switch to Self-Care as a healing option, or say that it is objectively the best. Just that this is the how and why of my use of the perk. I don't expect to make any friends by saying all of this and I don't care either way. I'm not an immersive P3 Blendette that hides in a corner all match to heal, since I now main Yui who's also my only prestiged character, but just an average player in red ranks who likes to have two health states and unrestricted perks where possible. I can't trust anyone as is, and usually have a mentality of "I can do it just fine myself" in a variety of things, not just in game.

Use whatever perks you want, but don't demean, harass or make insulting remarks to people who use perks you don't like. If you think less of them, keep it to yourself. Nobody asked and nobody cares if you do.

I'll see you all in the fog.

I hope I'm never in your group while you spend the whole game hiding in a corner wasting time while everyone else is creating pressure to escape. Use bond, after-care, iron will, resilience, bring a med kit, go have someone else heal you. it takes half the time. SELF-CARE users annoy me Plus I feel they are a disadvantage to the group while they do nothing to progress the game
