I honestly do. My friends and I even change our names to 4X BPS FARM PLS when we all bring one. Then we get a sweaty ass Doctor that says oh ######### I didn't see all 4 of the BPS at the end of the match...like really #########? Please press ESC and check offerings for the love of Skittles please damn!
When a killer brings them I go out of my way to find them and give them my item as a show of good faith and most get the message. Some just don't care because I'm Claudette.

Acceptable reasons: Finishing a gen, Being chased by killer, killer is patrolling hard and you don't have borrowed time, you are on the other end of a large mapx you assumed someone else was closer and would get them but at a certain point you realized that wasn't the case and have to go get them
Unacceptable reasons: I just got on gen, I have a rare item/add on, LuL I'm not getting them and getting chased, I'm sure someone else will get them, I have to finish this quest, I hate [insert survivor name here] players and they deserve to die, I don't rescue people on [insert map name here]
Situational reasons: They're AFK(may have come back), end game collapse, NoED is still in play, make your choice is in play, finishing an escape quest, you're on death hook, you're bad at looking, you have no perks to maximize a safe rescue, you're against a killer you know for a fact gives you trouble, you don't know who the killer is, you're in the dream world, thanataphobia, it's a trapper, it's a doctor, it's a Freddy, situational Legion
With the situational things it's a matter of simple rescues that go horrible because of things such as inability to communicate where traps, snares are, TPs, perks that make you move slower, broken, injured, exposed, etc that up the risk of simple rescues. Doctor especially has become lousey to tht point two people have to commit to a rescue for one person and they will shock people into madness/interrupt a rescue with shocks and force them to run away due to madness 3.

Michael Myers. But Ghostface is a close second. I like them stalky boys. Also Hillbilly is a special case and he will always have all my loves and support.

Telling my team I have borrowed time and head on and saving this constantly then watching them farm one another and blame me for leaving them to die. Also ######### Jane players. I have yet to come across a good one who didn't get downed in literally 20 seconds, farm the team, or get rewarded with escaping for hiding and doing nothing all game while the rest of team sweats their asses off then they have the nerve to talk ######### saying ggez. Like gurl shut cho lunch meat booty ass tf up.

@List_of_concerns I get mori'd so often unironically that I have a folder of mori screenshots. Basically if it isn't Myers and Ghostface, I get mori'd because "fucc Blendette. They must always die first"

Claudette main. I really wish either old Botany knowledge came back :(I hate I never got to experience it or make Botany knowledge more effective or make it where you get an add on when you find a med kit or you can bring one without a med kit in case you fine one but the rule is you can't bring anything else or you lose your add one if you pick up a tool box.

As a survivor main, honestly decisive strike.
The time frame in which a survivor can still stab a killer is 60 seconds and the max time to do a gen is 80 seconds if you get no skill checks. Then paired with deadhard it's an easy get away, even if not, the fact 4 people can apply pressure for 60 seconds while someone is incapacitated it pretty op. Additionally, they can hold their d strike so...one flash light save later they can still apply pressure for 60 seconds. Hate me all you way, decisive strike sets up for a free gen or forces the killer to 4k slug.

i literally only play survivor and there are a lot of survivor mains here who are rational and level headed about both sides. many of us level headed surv mains agree new sabo is stupid asf with swf, but hooks respawn after a few seconds, has a 60 second cd, and can be countered by iron grasp so it is a fair 1 to 1 trade on stopping/punishing the action since iron grasp is meta on quite a few killers.

No, it was pretty obvious to me. Hag and Wraith I suspected they were of direct African due to their designs that closely resembled many African statues I've observed and stories I've been told about creatures of darkness from my grandmother who practices Voudo (this is a Hatian/island practice not African but it is derived from African slaves original traditions).
(TL;DR: Difference between African American and Black from a Black person who has researched/lives this)
Also to respond to someone else's comment (sorry mobile sucks) Hag and Wraith are African not African American. Wraith can be argued as African American due to coming here and intentionally gaining citizenship but we don't know if he gained citizenship since it was never disclosed.
Doctor is Black (But like someone said he's actually based on a Chinese whack job that's still practicing today but I'm not opening that can of corona virus). And before anyone gets on my case about it being the same thing it's not. I'm Black (Creole actually but I don't feel like explaining this). Most of us like to be referred to as Black. We (most) only like being called African American when we are in fact African immigrants with American citizenship or we are 1st/2nd generation immigrants of Africans or that is the cultural we identify as being a part of have have a "right" to (identity as a fish i personally don't gaf). The reason being Black is a catch all term for a person who appears to be of African decent but we honestly don't know how much because of slavery and inability to accurate trace our lineage, and we are so far removed from the culture and customs there's not much about us that can be considered actual African tradition. So referring to ourselves as being part of a culture that we have no ties to comes off as rude to most of us and we'd rather not do it.
While I have been fortunate enough to be able to have traced my heritage (I'm a mutt about 17 different ways) I still consider myself Black (Creole specifically) because I have little to no ties to actual African culture other than genealogy. One of my great grandmothers is Barbados and Japanese and while she is technically of African decent she has more ties to Japanese and Barbados culture than African. Black culture has a completely separate structure than African American culture even between the generations is which Blacks referred to themselves as either Black or African American. The focus, values, and teachings are completely different so yeah, just my two cents.

I didn't realize how selfish Claudette's were until someone explain it to me as a Claudette main. This thread reaffirms that belief and extends it to believe that a lot of survivors are selfish.
I never understand how hard until someone is about to his phase 2 and 2 people are near them but refuse to get up. At that point I give up and accept gens won't get done and I'm healing/rescuing this game exclusively. I also accept I'm probably getting left as well.
It's a sad life when I'm in solo queue so my enjoyment comes from having a fun killer that plays peekaboo with me or thanks me for not acting like a Blendette.

I'm good with using specific perk challenges. They change up the meta and make things different. I even like the Great skill checks ones. They can do this without making them something that could be toxic towards the other players in the game.
Exactly. It was bad enough with the map and no mither quest. People were too afraid to do anything and it ultimately hurt the team. Look I'm all for questing but quests that involved escaping on top of something else tend to lead to people being less willing to work as a team. Healing two states in one game is fine and the head on quest was actually so enjoyable that I run that perk all the time now. But this escape through hatch basically translates to leave your team.

Exactly. Now if they want us to use skills, why not do like tome one and in order to reach the page you have to use a perk specific for that person's pages. And you can reuse perks. Change some numbers around. For example we could have had another poise challenge but instead use poised while injured 3 times.

I know as a survivor if I'm looking at myself do a gen or gen is no longer my main focus ALL sounds either vanish or are muffled. It's extremely consistent too. This is why I run spine chill permanent since keeping my head on a swivel means purposely putting myself at a disadvantage. That one second is the difference between life and death.

Unless it's bedlam that has some of the most insane spawn spots finding totems is easy asf. I notice most in a chase and make a mental note. But then again I'm better at finding totems that gens on certain maps.

I used to main Claudette when I first started, but because of how Survivors have caused killers to hate her, I play a baby Dweet in default clothes.
I never understood why people HATED her until I got into a match with 3 other Claudette's that were so selfish, literally hid the whole time, hook farmed, and went into lockers the half second they heard a heartbeat.
My friends finally told me that I don't play Caludette like Claudette and explained. That would explain all the killers who thanked me for not being a Blendette. I thought they meant my clothes, not being a complete ######### dick.

I'm stupid so indoor maps confuse me easy because there are no real land markers. Plus I have either a hard time finding gens or doing gens because I either can't find them or 3 spawn around doctor's office near basement and im like bro...

I main Claudette (please don't be mad) but I don't play like a Claudette. When people decide to 4 man Claudette a lobby to "piss the killer off" I asked them to not because he's just going to Mori us. And low and behold, the killer runs mori, devour hope, and rancor. Like can yall not.

No one cares about punishing rage quitters. We care we are being punished due to known game breaking bugs such as the crouch stuck, being slugged through floor, and stuck in a match after it is technically over because the entity can't impale you so you're in a d/c stand off between killer and survivor.
These bugs happen often enough that this system is not a viable option to curb d/c at this point when many common bugs list d/c as the only viable option.
On average most players get 2-3 bugs a day that require them to d/c or result in a d/c such as loading screen freeze. This person is now hit with a 15 minute timer that will continue to escalate and there is nothing they can do on their end except not play the game.
Many people have done this and this has lead to increasing longer queue times for killer as well as survivors. Personally I am not playing as much and I have already started looking for another game to play until DBD addresses the aforementioned issues.

Sorry to hear about the 15 minute timeout. Seems you're just another bit of collateral damage to them.
Sadly that seems to be the case. I've had this happen in a few games today. I think I'll start keeping record of this and send it to bug report even if it's not happening to me. Hopefully this gets addressed soon. I know a few streamers have had this happen to them and it sucks.

I would like to say this happened to me yesterday and had it not been for the screaming/getting shocked while downed bug on doctor that happened and the killer timing it right and picking me up I would have been forced to d/c or hope the entity would take me.
For context I was being chased by doctor and went to vault into the window to the right while my team opened the door. I got hit but for whatever reason I didn't vault through window despite the animation going off I just vaulted into place. I got knocked into the ground and this was the result. Doctor walked over and he was in the ground too making it hard for him to pick me up. He sat there zapping me (causing me to scream) and that tiny bit of my head managed to pop up long enough for him to grab me. He let me go which was sweet of him, but still if he hadn't idk what would have happened.
I've had this happen once before and the entity literally couldn't impale me so I couldn't leave and I was forced to d/c. It was no biggie but still it's unfair that certain things like this happen often enough where there's no fix other than to d/c and people now can't d/c.
This bug happened literally 15 minutes ago. (Again with a doctor.) He picked me up placed me on hook and then I tp'd 20 meters from the hook. My team couldn't get me because the hook I was supposed to be on didn't show the promt for them (SWF). I then d/c'd from the game but my Discord/net was fine. I asked them did the match end because it's saying both the killer and I d/c'd. The answer no. Apparently I was still floating in the air. I got saddled with a 15 minute timers. My friends said he could have been force lagging/lag switching but idk. Ordinarily I wouldn't care because I could just get into a new game but a total of 2 games where I d/c'd and 2* loading screen bugs have netted me 15 minutes and I hear the time can go up to an hour into a permanent banned. I'm literally terrified to play because I don't want to be get banned on a game I just started playing.
This isn't the first time I've been booted from a game and it says that me and the killer or someone else and the killer (usually the first person hooked) disconnect in post game even if the game is still going or completed.

I just hate being punished because of that stupid loading screen glitch. It's happened twice in 5 days and I have a 15 minute timer for something I have no control over.

Christmas. Because it starts the day after the best holiday (Halloween) and makes simple things like making groceries and purchasing a new sketchbook or art supplies hell on Earth. I don't really hate the holiday itself just all the inconveniences the holiday brings which last far too long.

I can't tell you just to quit because BHVR reverses and changes their minds so they might come to their senses. You could quit and periodically check to see if they fixed it yet. You might just forget about the game completely though. I don't know that it's your internet. Not sure how to edit my OP but I just got kicked again sadly. My net is fine, discord is fine, the stream was fine. I was actively monitoring my network and there were no drops. This is definitely on BHVRs side. I got disconnected as soon as I finished the final generator. IDK what's happening but this is nuts. I won't play if it means I'm penalized for things out of my control. Maybe in a week or 2 things will get better maybe not. It just sucks because I only got the game 2 months ago and I was SO excited for my first rift and I enjoyed the chinese new year event as well and now I'm just disgusted.
