Tf you talking about killer is fun as f*ck for me on ps4
I always get 3-4K, always outsmarting the survivors, and most of the time too I let the last guy escape
I mean i didnt say it wasnt fun at all whatsoever just that its always green rank killer vs red and purple swf for some odd reason and as survivor at red and purple i never see red rank killers which would be the skill level to play against.
The things that make it unfun at times for me is things like the frame issues the fact that i gain bloodlust and im in hit range but cant hit because the second i got bloodlust i also dropped to 1 frame a second. It happens on survivor too when i use an exhaustion i might run into a wall because i suddenly lag/have 1 frame a sec and oh look theres a wall there now lol

There was definitely a time where you could add up all the survivors ranks, divide by 4 and you would most of the time end up with your own rank.
You are right its different now. I guess its just a reflection on the rankings in the playerbase at the moment. Although to be fair I have been purple rank in the past so its not exactly unfair that I get matched with purples......
Yeah i normally get to purple i dont normally play too much every day and i play both sides so purple is usually where i get and i have friends that get to red ranks.
So i get booted to green go against purple and it doesnt feel too different because thats where im normally at. But for someone newer its not that hard to reach green rank tbh. Even when i first started the game id always get to green ranks and stop there because i didnt want to go too far ahead and go against people with tons of perks advantages on me with basically none lol.
Survivor queue gets longer almost every time i play it feels like. That plus the fact a killer is always purple at lowest i def think im right about there not being many red rank killers on console i only ever go as far as purple myself after all

You are saying it clearly, they will punish you for going to eat and what will it affect you? in nothing (you said it). How will you help the other players? in nothing. Can you explain to me what is the point then? 🤣
I personally leave the game AFK and when I return I am dead or I am lucky to continue in the game, I do not like to ruin a game by disconnecting if I can leave the PC on
As I said before, if they solved the errors that the game has and (I say it as personal experience as killer) if they fix the hitbox and the false hits that make people less angry with the game then people could disconnect much less for sure 🙂
As i said yeah a temporary delay of say 5 mins won't effect someone thats away doing something but thats not the reason for all the dc complaints is it?
I think the temp delay would be good if its for the first couple mins of a game for sure. The amount of times ive seen someone rage quit because they got downed within the first min is crazy at least 1 a day sometimes 2 or 3. People dc to give their friend the hatch i think that should be a thing that should get changed too because thats in no way fair at all it doesnt really give the killer a chance which is what the whole change of the hatch was about anyway stopping stand offs and making it more fair.
Dc punishments will hopefully make the game more fair for both parties. Or at least fair in the sense that if the survivor dcs and you loose the game because of it at least theyre being punished for rage quitting at the start and doing so.
A lot of games have this kind of thing so why not dbd? Why is it fair for other games and not dbd?

If you have some urgency IRL:
- if it's temporary, just go afk for a couple of minutes
- if it's permanent, just DC. You won't be punished that much if it's a one time thing (let's say, a couple of times per week?)
If you have a lot of urgencies IRL that would make you DC even more than one time a day then play some solo / mobile games, dbd is not for you.
EDIT: on a second read of your post I think we are actually on the same page, so don't take the reply personal, it's not directed (exclusively) to you
Nah i didnt take it personally :) but yeah i think we are agreeing cause i was meaning an irl urget thing as a reason to dc because the other person was questioning why even have the button in the first place if you are going to punish. I never really have any irl urget matters tbh my family understand some games you cant simply pause haha

Playing as a Killer on PS4 is excruciating at times because once you hit green ranks you are going to start facing sweaty high purple/red rank survivors. Its not fun and it makes me even less willing to play Killer.
So, yeah, there is definitely a lack of high rank Killers on PS4 because the average Survivor rank is almost always 6+ ranks higher. I know you are suppose to be able to face survivors up to 6 ranks above or below your kilelr rank, but it seems the norm that they are on average 5-6 ranks over you. Not to mention when you get SWF where they break the matchmaking even more.
I play ps4 killer and survivor at rank 10/11 i get red and purple swf groups constantly who always message try and harass me after.
Ive started only messaging positive stuff like a gg you played so well! Because theres just so much bad stuff daily when i play now

Killer is no fun to play on console because of the optimization... shiet... when I hit someone while in night shroud the game drops so many frames it's not enjoyable, I hope in the upcoming midchapter the console sensitivity update comes as well, it at times feels the killer is slower at different points of the match...
Ive noticed that too it also happens when i gain bloodlust sudden 1 frame a second amd makes me miss my hit yanno? But it also happens in survivor if i use an exhaustion perk suddenly it lags and i cant tell where im going anymore.
Not to mention scratchmarks in grass are completely invisible

@Rex_Huin said:
As PS4 killer I always get matched with higher rank survivors these days.
So I think your theory is correct and there is a lack of high rank killers on console.
This would also explain their new ranking system which would keep people ranked higher than before after reset I believe?
What doesnt make sense is the matchmaking is apparently going off of the highest rank survivor right which is usually a rank 3 in the groups ivw seen yet you can be a green rank 10 and go against that group of red survivors because theres 1 purple rank 8 which isnt far off your rank so its toooootally fair lmfao
-
@LordTohes said:
BTW: why do you put a button that says leave the match and then you will punish people for using it? don't have much sense 🤔
So if you suddenly have someone at your door and have to go do a bunch of things you SHOULDNT be able to leave?
Thats why a leave game button exists. I personally use it if i have to leave to go eat because my family have made dinner. At which point a 5 min timer wont mean anything to me because ill be eating.
The timer is only going to bother those that quit because they got mad they got downed / mad that they have lost all gens and havent downed anyone etc
If not a timer then what? What discourages rage quit dcs?
-
Maybe they should have more splinters for those with no dlcs? Saying this when i have all dlcs and get like a splinter every 5 bloodwebs -_-

Same on PC, imagine if you blink 10 times one game, and you usually blink more than that, that's 1 min of staring at the ground etc...
Yeah i know its the same on pc time wise, like the stun and staring at the ground then waiting for charges. But i think if your realllly good with nurse you could probably still get away with winning yanno?
On console you literally cant win unless they all run at you if you loose someone for a second in most maps because of the bad frames and unable to see scratches very well especiallllly in grass. They just dont exist in grass. You will loose them every single time. Plus the fact you cant look around as well as you can on pc. Its much harder to blink up and down between floors for some reason i have no idea why. (Ive played both for some reason sometimes blinking up on console just flat out does nothing)
On pc i feel like she can still be useable at least. Especially maybe rank 20 to rank 10 at least. On console you cant at all. With all the issues console has at the moment with how every action causes lag spikes and 1 frame a second etc. Its just impossible to play her. The auto aim also feels much stronger pulled me to a survivor off my screen when i aimed to the side to the person unhooking and it swung right and hit the hooked guy. Who wasnt even on my screen with how hard i tried to force a swing to the left. Hits dont connect despite going right through the survivor. Auto aimed to trees ans walls when trying to swing around them. This part is in general for all killers though. And i know it happens on pc too but from my games ive noticed it much more on console.
Console needs to have similar stuff as pc sensitivity, quality options wise, so we can actually see scratch marks, stable frames etc survivor side is just the same as pc survivors but killers on console is just not fun at all with extra disadvantages than what pc has. Making nurse useless. Yet i could probably play her pc for a good few ranks and be completely fine.
-
I like her add on changes but on console the stun plus waiting for the blinks to charge is too much time wasted its literally insanely hard to have any fun with her unless the survivors are realllly bad and i mean REALLY bad :/

I'd rather survivors be able to type and have a text bubble appear above their head. This way if they say a slur or something, they get insta banned from using the system. (Temporarily or something)
Only problem i have with typing is console, unless you have a keyboard plugged in it takes literally forever to type something. Youd have to hide in lockers just to say something lol
-
Rank 1 - gets reset to rank 10....yeah being rank 7 couldnt possibly mean you know anything about the game xD lmfao
That logic makes no sense i know ranking as a survivor can be easy but its not the same for killer you gotta have some skill to be red/purple ranks and be able to deal with constant swf groups.

The only and really the only problem i have with some russian players is, that they think everyone speaks russian and talk only in russian. As if it is so difficult to speak english.
Actually im pretty sure i heard when i was still in school that english is pretty hard to learn to speak. Telling someone to "just speak english" is like if they told you to just speak their language. You cant instantly learn a whole new language youve never learnt or spoke before.
While a lot of foreign people ive met/spoke to etc do speak or know some english its usually just basic things they learnt in school. My school taught french and spanish but by no means can i speak a fluent understandable sentence.

Dodged 7 times? On console atm that would take up an hour or 2 of just nothing but in and out of queues and resetting lobbies because every like 2nd or 3rd lobby it just errors out constantly.
Id be done and off the game at that point.
-
Ive played both pc and ps4.. mainly play ps4 since u have a ton more progress and friends there.
Ps4 is constant bad frames (especially when archives dropped at this current time if you get bloodlust / use an exhaustion you get a total of maybe 1 frame a second its rediculous.) The game constantly freezes up for a few seconds even though its fine. Ive never blue screen error'd till the other night my friend left my lobby and that somehow crashed my game.
Console is at probably the worst ive seen it atm. Where as pc is fine works fine 80/90% of the time im playing sometimes has a bug or random disconnect etc.
The frames were never good on ps4 but atm its almost unplayable

Sadly they are disconnecting because they know you have a Mori because it's a "secret" offering. Problem is everytime the killer's offering isn't shown before load screen people assume it's a Mori and bail
I think they should make all killer offerings secret and not revealed to survivors. Heck I'd be fine with the killer not being able to see survivors' offerings as well. It would go a long way towards fixing this specific problem IMHO.
I dont think it would if people dc because of mori's and dont know till they get mori'd theyll just dc mid Mori, or as someone else is being mori'd

On pc yes i can on console? Like 2/10 times maybe if the game is being stable at that particular moment.

Im actually one of the people that goes for the save depends on the killer though for leatherface i go down and start the unhook then when he revs to go for the swing ill sprint burst run and hell most likely hit the hook and stun himself then i save the guy with bt and leave. Then of course i see the leatherface chasing the guy i just clutch saved instead of me and sigh. (This also works with deadhard but is more risky). And sometimes if its like the guys that close to dead ill do it and purposely stay in place so the leatherface hits me and hooks me because i just gave the other survivors time to do gens and saved that guys life.
Borrowed is the only time where if someone is being camped ill be ok with trying to save them because it makes sense they get an extra hit they can get away. Be hard if the killer is tunnel visioned but more possible than if bt wasnt a thing
-
@Dreamnomad said:
This requires that you know the killer is camping for one thing. If you are playing with a full SWF team then you can just communicate over voice chat that this is the case. But the majority of games are played with out full voice comms. That means you need to run to wherever the player that is hooked is to find out if they are camped or not. Then you have to stick around for a bit to confirm whether the killer is in fact camping or just happened to be patrolling nearby. Then you have to run all the way back to your gen. All of this eats up a lot of wasted time making punishing a camping killer more difficult than it sounds. Perks like kindred, decisive strike, and borrowed time help with camping but unfortunately it is still pretty effective.
Its still totally possible if they are standing completely still staring at the hook which ive seen happen multiple times survivors tend to see that and still go for the save no one ever just does gens. I almost never see it unless it is swf because like you said they will tell their team to do so.
-
Test it when its changed hop into a custom game and test out the changes easy way to see whats different without wasting add ons etc right?

Indeed you are wrong. 'A Golden Feng Code' isn't about the game and the next quote is me saying that I love the game and have spent money on it? The base price, all DLCS, Auric cells. Or are these not money going towards the game and it's developers?
I think the problem there is that you didnt specify that you spent money on the game meaning the auric cells dlc etc you ranted about the 600 for the feng cosmetic then said that which makes people assume you still meant the 600 for the feng cosmetic as if you thought that money went to the devs.
I think maybe thats whats happened with that particular part
-
I have a p1 feng and thats it i thought about p2ing her then just decided to keep levelling others anyway.
Someone once told me you get higher teir items/addons/offerings or whatever after doing it. Havent really noticed too much of a difference to be honest though
-
Survivors rage quit because they dont want to die. Ive been messaged enough hate simply for playing the game been accused of camping etc.
Honestly camping is a funny one to me didnt they make it so that if a killer is close to the hook and there are no survivors nearby they loose points rather than gain them? What i dont understand is that when someone is getting camped people attempt a rescue possibly throw the game. Where as they could just gen rush and at the least 2 of them escape. Plus the killer looses points. If 3 gens can be done in 1 min with optimal play and hook timers are 2 mins i dont see why you cant do gens have 3 people escape against a camper and punish the player.
The most common dc i personally see is if someone is downed fast because they werent paying attention just bad plays or its genuinely against tunneling or camping killers and they dc and throw the game for everyone else in the lobby.
No one wants to be camped but if you can quickly get gens done you can punish the player for doing it yet people prefer to dc.
On the killer side i mostly see rage quits against swf teams that play well and the killer cant handle it and all escape tbagging at the gate and the killer gets mad.
Theres also the dc so the other person gets hatch which can happen in swf groups.
-
The problem isnt just something simple like killers or survivors being op. Its that survive with friends is insanely powerful co ordinating against a killer if you are being really good there isnt much a killer can do.
I faced trouble just today because of the tome challenge to drop pallets people were dropping them instantly they had what felt like millions of them and i had to hook in the basement with 3 people body blocking anytime i picked someone up.
-
@Monlyth said:
I guess we'll all just conveniently ignore the fact that insta-heals were recently deleted from the game, then? Not just nerfed, but deleted?
The devs are trying to balance the game for both sides. Saying that they only listen to survivor mains is demonstrably false.
Where 3 gens are done in roughly 1 min and your entire chase can be made entirely useless because they insta healed after going down. Then you instantly have lost as killer. Insta heals and old ds were extremely powerful and killers couldnt do a thing about it other than to just sweat the game out and hope the survivors make a mistake.

I tend to try that, but like I said...its not always possible. Stealth is plan A, but you gotta have the possibility of running away as plan B if the killer decided to look at the gen thats out in the open. Maps like Blood lodge have way to much area with insufficient hiding spots. Watched a streamer earlier than mainly plays Piggy like 95% of the time completely butcher a team of red ranks with no addons and only shadowborn for perks on that map when he decided to have an odd game with Spirit.
Yeah i know sometimes stealth is hard because its a big open map or what not, i just personally dont see it if at all maybe platform and rank can change that though :)
-
Why do i feel like the fact that they said "people would dc MORE" if they knew the threshold means that its a high number.
That just gave me a bad feeling about it. Anyway, id never heard anyone say dcs were automatically tracked till now id seen not to report them but id never seen anyone say WHY not to.

@LordGlint said:

While I myself like being stealthy, hiding isnt always an option. If someone goes down, someone else is gonna have to go for the unhook. If that hook happens to be in the open, your gonna have to suck it up. Many gens are likewise...out in the open. Beyond that, we also have to actually do the objective. The more gens get done, the less possible places there are for survivors to be and still be productive.
No i know i just mean to be more stealthy than they normally are if that makes sense? A lot of players WANT to be chased they wanna find the killer ive seen some people go a whole game before without being seen by the killer at all in some cases though, with unhooking going on gens popping. I havent seen that kind of stealth in a while now though. Because the game is all about looping now not as much on the stealth
-
@ScottJund said:

I mean...avoiding the killer is the counter to every killer, so that's not really fair.
I mean yeah, but i just mean that usually survivors want to get chased usually theres at least 1 or 2 running around trying to find the killer to loop them, but if survivors want to they could probably pop gens and avoid being seen at all and i almost never see people do it if at all. People WANT to be chased. Thats why im saying, is it kind of a counter? Because no one WANTS to play that way any time ive played ive seen few playing to hide. I dont think people want to play hide and seek they want to get chased and loop and hopefully escape.
Ive just woke up btw so in my head im making sense i hope i am. I can see in some maps how it would be harder and stuff but it was just a thought you know?
-
Maybe they should put in a system 1 free dc and then if you dc again within say maybe a couple hour to be generous to queue times sometimes taking half an hour in some cases, then you get a timeout for x amount of time which will get higher the more you dc till a set limit bans you?
-

Im not talking about balance or fun. There are several other thread, regaring these topic.
I play this game since 2016 and this DC mindset is cancer for this already bad community.
I was just meaning that as like a maybe thats a big factor into if they dc or not. Usually the dcs i encounter are rage quits because i "tunneled" aka they unhooked in my face so i downed both, things like that but when its spirit as said before some people dc on sight of you.
-
I was just thinking, is stealth/playing immersed, a good counter to spirit?
Because i realised something, no one wants to sit on a gen and hold m1/r2 etc on a gen, most want to be chased right? Usually when they do there are *click click* flashlight "look at me" being shoved in your face haha. But if winning against spirit means avoiding chases, playing stealthy, then maybe thats another reason people are so mad about her being un fun to play against? Because they dont want to try an hide they want to play looping simulator
-
I think one of the counters to spirit would be if survivors played stealthy and tried to hide which NO ONE these days does these days everyone wants to get chased and loop forever, they dont want to do gens i think thats the real issue. The fact they would have to play in a "boring way" to have a chance against spirit is possibly why they dont like her?
Despite the fact she doesnt give a ton of feedback in what exactly is happening is she or isnt she phasing for example. I find that kind of fun though not knowing whats going to happen it could be different every time.
-
I can play both pc and ps4 so i dont really get to red ranks often if at all within a month.
I see a lot if spirits on ps4 havent played pc in a while now, my laptop screen broke. But they are kind of really different in a lot of ways. Survivor is much the same but killer is certainly much harder and you can 100% bully a lot more killers if you are a really decent swf group.
Spirit needs something for survivors to be able to do something and not just be a coin flip to see who wins out. But also not something that in turn makes her go from one of the killers we can use to actually win for once to another constant loss.
On ps4 when i do see a spirit they either cant get a single kill or they can get some kills. I think i know a way to loose her on console (not sure it would work on pc) but on console its very hard/impossible to see scratch marks in grass cant remember how it was on pc so you can easily loose a spirit by running across grass
-
I think the problem is that because the games become quite competitive there is no fun for anyone who wants to play casually. People who say you dont need ruin im going to ask if you have played for a long time or play every day. Because a lot of the time when someone says to me you dont need ruin - they either stream the game every day have every single perk and know every in and out of the game, or they dont stream but still know just as much.
But also i think that the times ruin becomes a perk you might need is when its survive with friends, i feel like against solo survivors you can slap on any old perks and win. But with survive with friends 9 times out of 10 they will destroy ruin and pop 3 gens within your first chase. Whenever i want to run a totem at all its destroyed practically instantly unless its in some insanely hidden place. Which theyre amost never in, i think whenever i use a totem its always out in a visible location.
I think the issue is that swf is more powerful than a killer unless the killer is a godly player with insane hours into the game and that swf is what you will be against most of the time like 60% of my games maybe are swf teams and they always are ranks ahead of me in the red/purple ranks (im trying to stay mid ranks till i get all the perks i want unlocked)
-
I did all 5 gens opened a door and took the killers attention for 3 to escape and died in 1 hook... im a bit of team player/hero constantly ill heal anyone if i see them and they want me to. Dont mind taking hits and going down or being chased. If the killer is really bad though i do become a little bit of the tbagging type i play both sides though so i tend to try not tbag except at other survivors as a hello because i know how annoying it can be if a whole team is doing it and i happen to not be playing well first game on or something yanno xD

All games have toxicity its just very common in some games like this.
Today me and swf were not really caring too much win or loose mostly just doing the rift challenge things. And we came across a hillbilly and they had some greattttt control over the chainsaw (this is ps4 btw so yanno frames and everything so much worse) they kicked all 4 of our butts xD
After the game i was thinking about how toxic people can be so i went on their ps profile to say ggs and to tell them they were a really good hillbilly because i just felt like if they came across any "entitled" "toxic" survivors they very well couldve been harassed after even i have had that.
Got a reply and had a little laugh with them so i feel good that not everyone in this community is toxic

Legion. Lery’s. 1 DC. 2 sacrifices. Stomped the hatch. EGC starts.
I find the last survivor, Jake, at the gate pulling the switch. Not even halfway done yet. He lets go, but I’m feeling generous. I nod my head and back up to a safe distance.
He opens the gate. The sweet breeze of freedom blowing through his hair. He looks at the field. He looks back at me and —starts butt-dancing!?!? Yup! That’s right. T-bagging the guy who’s letting him win. I nod again trying to encourage him to leave.
He drops his toolbox. Picks it up. Drops again. Starts inching closer to me.
The punk! I inch closer to him. He wants to take a hit. Fine, I’ll give him his hit!
Ooooooh! That’s right. I forgot to tell him I had NOED!
Screw this. I hooked him.
I loved that story amazing. I never care about if i have 4 kills as long as i get 1 or 2 im fine if they played well (not just a simple gen rush) the times ive downed the fourth and then been like "nah i feel nice this was too easy" thats when they dc ive never experienced the butt dances when im being generous.
As for noed well...
I almost never run noed the times i do i dont use it goes for all the situational perks like unbreakble etc i never have them when i need/want/couldve used them but when i dont need them or anything thats when i try to use them.

Yeah this is complete BS when killers do this. I’ve had this happen as survivor where you’re pretty much expected to suicide because, well, what else’s can you do.
Hatch should be on a timer just like if it were open mid game with a key in this instance (last survivor alive so hatch opens). After the timer expires hatch automatically closes and starts EGC. Sure this places even MORE pressure on a survivor trying to find the hatch before the killer, but this would still be better than this total reversal of roles where now the killer is holding the game hostage.
If its on a timer that also means that perk where within so many meters you see the hatch aura, that perk would be a very decent perk in solo play.

Yeah my game just now i couldnt hit a few hits because i gained bloodlust and right as i do they try to 360 and the game stutters and with the low frames im just like "######### is going on ?" Blind hit - oh look hes over there now...
Got 2 kills and i was vsing a swf rank 8s and red ranks :) at rank 11 killer :)

Mouse and kb is considered cheating for some games on console. Fortnite for example i believe if you hook up mouse and kb you will play against pc players and if you try to swap once starting a game they just block it.
Besides with how bad it is why would you want to play mouse kb on this lol just play pc altogether better experience lol

Okay I've been playing since the update and I have never, ever had this much of a problem with my frame rate. The Halloween event menu is killing my Ps4, walking on Hawkins drops frames no matter what you do, bloodlust mid chase, you get the idea. The last noticable update was back on the End Game Collapse update and that was awhile back. Ever since the game has slowly been going back to how it was before that update.
I know it's not my Ps4 because it can run many games well.
In short, console needs to be optimized because it's just getting really bad.
Its not only the frames anymore this update every single action is causing game stutters i either miss hits because i gained bloodlust which caused a stutter or the killer gained bloodlust and so hits me from round a corner etc laggy stuff that werent that bad before. But its clearly the game since just simply changing character or clicking bloodweb completely freezes the game for a few seconds.
-
Rank 11 killer atm and my last like 5 games over the last few days have been rank 8s at highest and 3 at lowest. I havent seen a SINGLE person 9 or up. Actually near my level. I dont have a lot of perks so at this point i just want to do my killer dailys and go to survivor where im at rank 9 now getting rank 15s to 20s in my game if the survivors are 15 or so the killer is always rank 18 to 20 and they all die instantly
How come as killer i find low ranks but as survivor i cant ? Nvm i know, theyre probably all swf!
-
As killer - gain bloodlust - game stutters miss my hit.
Clicks bloodweb - freezes for a few seconds.
What do you play on? im on ps4 mainly
-
Whenever i want to play survivor - all killee dailys
When i want to play killer - all survivor dailys
Even after binning one... i feel like if you bin a killer daily it should give you a survivor one yanno?
-
I used to play her a lot on ps4 i dont think it would be too bad if we could have better frame stability and actually SEE things xD

For the killers on PS4 who camp hooks, ya'll deserve the hate mail. Not saying I send it I just report and move on. Community is toxic enough. I try and play survivor to get BP for my killers as im newer to the game but PS4 has been so bad for camping hooks until the 2xp event.
ps4 has a lot of camping wraiths for me i was like "wow ok really?" Today there was a clown he also saw me if i was near him despite not facing me while i got close (staring at the hook) then just turned and stopped his bottle animation to come after me (at which point i was out of his line of sight and behind an object)
The game was pretty laggy that game though so who knows.

So it unfun to play against spirit because you guess and maybe you’ll survive and have a chance to mindgame her, a good nurse does not predict, she blinks and then reacts to what you do, you don't have much chance to mindgame her or outrun her, a base no addons spirit is 176 and maybe a decimal in speed for 5 seconds and has a 15-20 second cooldown based on how much of her power she used. against a good spirit you have a chance if you understand what she thinks you'll do, against a nurse shell blink and react to you, leaving even littler room for counter play, the interaction is get hit then die. Against spirit if you don't have iron will you try to make sure that you stay uninjured for as long as possible and delay her, you will eventually go down because she's a good killer but if your on an optimal team and make chases last 80 seconds or more the killer loses 3 gens and if you die in 30 the killer can pressure one gen and still lose 2, at that rate if your playing well and pressuring gens everyone can escape, because survivors are given 5 objectives that take 80 seconds while killers are given 12-10 objectives they have to do that you don't even have to save for 45 seconds giving survivors even more gen time. My point in all this is, if spirit is broken then why do people lose? Go look at the twitch channel space esports, they do weekly tournaments where spirits with thousands of hours have a 5 minute game because the survivors play optimally and rush gens while understanding how to go against spirit so chases last even just a minute, even 60 seconds can cost the killer the game, so until a killer doesn't have to play spirit or run forever freddy to have more than a 5 minute game against a good team i don't think spirit should be touched, unless it's deleting prayer beads.
So you are talking about like in a competition. Where people are trying very hard to win. Compare that to how a lot of people actually play the game aka, casual.
Thats why theres a lot of complaints casual players cant do anything against spirit.
Besides, with a lot of killers theres midgaming and outplaying, against a spirit its luck. You either guess right or guess wrong about if she is phasing or not. Survivors get no input of "oh ok shes phasing now." Where as with nurse you can see her see where shes facing and try to outplay her make her think your gonna go one way but dart back the other as she blinks etc. Plus she is slow movement and gets stunned there is plenty ways to get away from a nurse. Spirit you just kinda have yo roll a dice and hope you picked the right action against her.
