When they remove the slowdown and charge bar issue for Bubba, he'll be a better killer.
-
We all are, but our upbringing conditions us to see it as wrong. When pushed to our limits, sometimes that conditioning fails.

Did you just admit that you are a sociopathic person that prey on others?
Aren't we all? Everyone has a line.
-
I've been sitting on a concept for a survivor turned killer who can perverse things that survivors could do. The power was Jerryrigging, which allows for various hook effects, totem traps, gen traps, etc. Unlike hope drained survivors who get turned into killers (which was an aspect of how killers were made from what the lore says), he/she was naturally sociopathic and preyed on fellow survivors in various ways. Thus the Entity turned him/her into a full fledged killer.
-
Depends on which Killer you run. Pop is good in general, but Discordance is good for tracking with stealth Killers. I usually run either Discordance or Surveillance on Doctor and PH. I prefer Surveillance though. Discordance isn't always reliable.
-
There should be an option to disable it, but some people like it.
-
When is DS getting removed?
That's as stupid a question as yours.
Everything has a counter. Get better and stop whining.
-
Clown has the most cosmetics for me. I usually mix and match, but the P3 head with the dark blue version of the default with the black handled version of the default knife has been my most used. Then the Uptown head (tiny hat and red nose) with the two toned purple and pink body, and the Rosewood Knife comes in second.

No ds punishes killers who pick up the recently hooked survivor within 60 seconds which in most cases is tunneling which isn't an optimal strategy.
No. DS punishes the 90% of Killers who don't tunnel. It is very common to hook someone, go down another as the first is saved, hook that one, then run into the first one and outplay them only to get DS'd because you did it within the last 60 seconds. No tunneling involved at all. Good players getting punished because of bad players who make mediocre players whine.
-
No.
-
This is a good change. Except make it so Keys only allow the user to escape. The rest have to finish gens. Remove the related achievement for it too.

So punish survivors for doing their objectively effectively?
Kind of like what DS does to the competent Killers? Punishes them for doing their job effectively and/or punishing Survivors' mistakes like Killers should.
-
No.
-
I usually run BBQ, Sloppy, Nurse's, and Surveillance. Hit and run, then while they are trying to heal, sneak up and hit them again.
-
You don't need to worry about BT if everyone plays PH.

Putting in a simple way, you can get a easy win abusing the slug mechanic
It's kind of the fault of the devs for making Oni a slugging Killer. 1-shot map traversing power that demands that you snowball before you run out of power.
-
Also, can my character wear the crown instead of having it float behind them? I wanted Clown to wear a crown like the king he is.
-
People suck. Been that way since the end of the Erectus era.
-
I actually considered maining Oni, but I kind of stopped playing him as much as I used to because Clown is life. Essential, he's a slugger. You need a slugging build that works with his power. The meta build for him is Infectious, BBQ, M&A, and Pop. However, I ran Deerstalker and Corrupt instead because at least I get guaranteed usage out of Corrupt. Sometimes I run an off meta build like Sloppy and Nurse's. (Sloppy doesn't work with Demon Strike however). Oni's power builds up over time, but hitting healthy Survivors gives you roughly 30% of his power, and absorbing Orbs gives about 10-15% (I don't know the actual numbers). Once you have a full bar, wait until you see someone before using it. Then you just snowball as best you can with Infectious. If you don't see anyone with it, just pick up and hook. You'll keep whatever power you have left.

https://youtu.be/IoYPWtmdjf8This was the Oni game I played last night. (Note that there is a rank 20 in this group, so it's not that exciting)
-
I've had games without DS before PH came out. Still obsessions because I run obsession perks, but there have been no DS games. And it seems like games without DS are a bit harder because the Survivors actually have to be skilled to survive since they're not relying on a second chance perk.
-
I'd rather just have two versions of each Killer, one male and one female. Of course, that would require more work.
-
The buff wasn't that significant to declare Clown any better than before. I was always able to do well with Clown even before the slowdown removal. Now I'm 1% better. Once they get that reload animation bug fixed, it'll be another 1% better. But Clown's power is the same, his strengths and weaknesses are the same, etc.
-
Once I get my 4 BBQ stacks, I usually take the time to look for the crown. If a Survivor crosses my path, I give them a smack but don't chase them.
-
So you can get that sweet 500 BP that is totally worth not getting a crown for.
-
No.

No.

Camping is bad enough. Do you want it to get worse as punishment for doing stupid ass dances?
-
If you enjoy the game enough, you'll put time into getting everyone you care about to P3.

Uhm yeah try avoiding it in a chase at a loop when he can just make trails during chase at the loop. I swear people don’t think. And no I’m not gonna crouch in the middle of chase.
Crouching in chase seems to work if you're running UE and the Killer isn't up your rear.

He also addresses the tunneling-problem at the end, and according to him (due to the Cage Location being predictable) he does not know any other option than to make Hook Perks work.
Sadly it shows how most DBD-Killers play when you give them a tool to allow tunneling... Spawning the Cage full Map away is not enough, as Survivor you really need ot be lucky that another Survivor is nearby.
That goes both ways. Give someone a tool that can be abused, and it will be abused by someone. Ethical or not.
-
It kind of bugs me that people cage camp or tunnel habitually. If a chase brings me to a cage, then so be it, but I'm not going to make the effort to cross the whole map to try and secure one kill. My biggest fear is if the devs do make changes to the cages, then they'll allow Survivor hook perks but not Killer ones. Because that's something they'd do. This is Legion all over again.
-
Since I play Clown mostly, I use Brutal, BBQ, STBLF, and NOED. I give minimal effort to stop gens because Clown is a chaser. Brutal breaks pallets faster, STBFL makes hits recover faster, BBQ for points, and NOED in case I need it. In the event that I get usage out of NOED, it usually forces the last Survivor out if I don't catch them. They can't go for saves because I attack too fast so they'd just get a hook trade, then I'll chase out the person they saved. If I have to deal with a team, then I'll slug until the last person is forced out. Then I'll hook the rest.
I usually don't need NOED though.
And I'm laughing while I do it.
-
In the movie, it was Alessa from a flashback.
-
F13 will get new content before DBD dies within any time frame.
-
Honestly I think it might be a PC issue with the sound bugs because I've been able to hear footsteps just fine on PS4. I have a good headset when playing too.
The map is decent. Not bad, but not good. It has less obstructions on it than Haddonfield. I'd rather play Midwich than Haddonfield.
-
That's a bit backwards. Survivor is far more boring than Killer. Having a team that can distract the Killer on the other side of the map while I do the three gens over by me is far more boring than whatever they think is boring for Killer. Only time Killer is boring is when everyone is being stealthy and isn't making any mistake to reveal their position. Walking around from gen to gen, breaking them and not finding anyone, and repeat is very boring compared to having minimal interaction with the Killer because your team has their complete attention the whole game.

How is clown bottom tier? Have any of y'all even played against or have played Clown since his new buff? Go do that before you rank him at the bottom.
He still suffers from the same problems as before. Just because he isn't slowed by the throws anymore doesn't mean his power is pathetic without Solvent Jug and Cork Stopper. Clown still suffers from map traversal and gen defense. Regardless of how well you do in chases, most games will end with you getting maybe 1-2 kills on average. Unless you build him like I do. Then you'll get either 3 on average if they're any good.
-
Because money. The Rift is about money, the cosmetics are about money, charms...wait...You can't BUY charms yet.
So I guess they're just meant for showing off how far your Rift is or if you are a whale and spend money on the Rift.
-
To be honest, it would be cool if all gens were blocked and they had to use a flashlight to burn the claws off. Of course, the drawback is a guaranteed flashlight every game.
-
So...sacrificing hook perks and hook points in order to save time and hassle of second chance perks and SWF fookery is scummy. Interesting. Completely forgetting the fact that you have to be afflicted by Torment to be at risk of being caged, which is easy to avoid on larger maps. Especially when you're using UE to walk over any.
Also, PH is still vulnerable to pallets because his ranged ability sucks

i mean bugs always reach live from ptb. If it isn't a gamebreaking bug, its getting in.
Also whoever was playing Clown on ptb instead of Pyramid head, respect.
It was honestly not a big enough buff to warrant any attention from anyone other than Clown mains.

Oh yeah it’s a reported bug (the slowdown shouldn’t be there)
I’m more surprised the bug made it to live in the first place though
So they didn't remove the slowdown. They just moved if from bottle_throw to bottle_reload. 👌

Well they can facecamp the cages apparently so the survivor can't be saved. The other thing is if the killer is near a survivor who has just been caged then they can quite easily just down them and hook them immediately.
I hope they stop otherwise the devs will allow Survivor perks on cages while the Killer doesn't get any. It'd take away the risk/reward factor for the Torment ability.

I haven't agreed with many things streamers have said in the past but I also watched the video. Today was my second day of the new chapter and I'm still unsure how I feel. Yet I agree with most of what he said in relation to the new content stuff.
The new map isn't a good killer or survivor map. This may change but loops seem tiny as survivor (with some extremely strong ones elsewhere) and gens are extremely hard to find. Relying on random survivors to try and find their way upstairs and downstairs seems to always end in 2nd state or death. As killer it's massive and I never thought about the whole OoO thing..
The new killer looks class but I feel like he was rushed. As survivor he feels unfun to face and playing as him doesn't feel great either. If he reaches the cage then your pretty much dead (a lot of pyramid heads have been doing this). Playing as him feels a bit awkward for me and I don't enjoy that.
This is before we even talk about the many cosmetic link issues.
I only play a couple of killer games a day so sound issues I haven't noticed that well.
The survivor is my main positive from the chapter so far. I love the look of everything from Pyramid Head to the main menu to the map.
People have been cage camping? Didn't realize that was a thing. I've noticed that being near a caged Survivor doesn't erode Chaser points, but then again you get less BP for Sacrifice when you cage people.

Only Yui and Deathslinger strike me as LGBT
Yui to me has a brain dead give away: She was the leader of a female only motorcycle gang, it is very possible that she developed a romance with one of her race companions, plus, she had a very unpleasant encounter against an stalker, which would have probably lead her to have a fear of men, strengthening her bond with the members of her gang.
Deathslinger for a similar reason, he was the leader of the Hellshire gang, which was probably built from men only.
I have an strong feeling that he was in a romantic relationship with the warden, I seriously doubt he would go ahead and bounty hunt men just for political capital and revenge, there were probably romantic interests in between, that was the reason why he felt so furious and betrayed when bayshore bought the penitentiary; the warden had used Caleb as a tool to fulfill his political ambitions and did not truly see him as a partner.
So being a leader of a group that consists of only one sex constitutes being a homo? I don't see the connection. Majority of my friends are guys, but I'm as straight as a steel backed ruler (not counting degenerate fetishes). I'm pretty sure 99% of my male friends all have had girlfriends too.
Yui is probably a lesbian though. However, Deathslinger probably not.
-
I really don't care who's what. It's completely irrelevant to the game itself.

Lesbian - Feng. Nea. Huntress. Nurse
Bi - Dwight. Jane. Claudette. Jake. Ace.
Straight - David. Adam. Jeff. Yui. Zarina. Meg
My Opinion
Why would Nurse be lesbian? She was married to a man in her backstory. Do you not read the lore? Why would Huntress be lesbian also? She is a mentally underdeveloped savage woman who lives alone in the forest. Bare minimal interaction with other humans. Can't develop sexuality if you never meet another human without attempting to kill them, as Huntress has.
-
And yet he's still beatable with a competent team, just like every other Killer.
-
I be honest, I haven't been enjoying DBD lately. Win or lose, it's not enjoyable anymore. I don't know why. Survivor wasn't ever fun for me, and Killer isn't as enjoyable even if the team I went against was a bunch of potatoes. I don't know what it is.
-
I refuse to imagine it.
-
Yes. Until I get every perk for every Killer, there is no reason to not run it. You have a choice whether to hook or cage. You're not REQUIRED to cage if the Survivor is Tormented. In fact you could hold off on caging the entire game and just execute Survivors on death hook.
