Somehow people always find a way to defend disgusting business practices like their life depends on it. Also how can you look at the player count just now when the game literally just went free to play so of course there are tons of new people trying the game but that just temporary boost.
-
Medkits have be super strong for long time. Now that keys are finally gettig nerfed (rightfully so) it has become more obvious that they are too strong.
-
You don't need fancy headphones to hear directional audio. Basically any stereo headphones will work for that.
-
It’s only possible if you are significantly better than your opponents.
-
There should 100% be fov slider in the settings. Also they better add advanced video setting while they are at it.
-
FOV slider for sure.
-
Should definitely be reworked and fov should just be adjustable in settings.
-
I don’t really see how that’s holding the game hostage. Why didn’t you just finish the last gen and leave?

"In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, speed or level design etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers."
This is direct from Wikipedia; source.
"An exploit (known as "exploitive activity" by Blizzard) is a method of playing the game in a way not intended by the game developers to gain an advantage over other players."
This is direct from the WOW Wiki; source.
Let's apply both to the J-Flick:
Wikipedia definition
The use of a bug or glitches, game system, hit boxes, speed or level design etc.
It's a bug/glitch, as confirmed here and here by McLean.
"The Blight is not supposed to be able to do 180 [degree] turns. He has a turn restriction in place for a reason." (Second clip)
by a player to their advantage
The J-flick is used by players to gain an in-game advantage.
in a manner not intended by the game's designers.
McLean is, in fact, a game developer, and iirc was the lead developer on The Blight. As confirmed by him, again in those clips, this was unintended. "He has a turn restriction in place for a reason."
wow wiki definition
An exploit...is a method of playing the game in a way not intended by the game developers
Again, the player is playing the game in a method not intended by the developers, again check the clips.
to gain an advantage over other players.
If you can try to prove to me that performing a 180 flick doesn't grant you an in-game advantage over other players, by all means go right ahead. However, considering how it does then best of luck.
Conclusion
By the dictionary (or as close as you can get to a dictionary since both Oxford English, Oxford German, and Merriam Webbster have definitions in terms of exploitative actions and labour, not video games) definition of the word, the J-flick is an exploit. Apply the criteria to stretched-res too, and you'll get the same results.
But, again, please keep pretending it isn't.
It’s unintended but not really an exploit since it requires no exploiting to achieve. You can’t really call flicking your hand really fast an expoit since that happens all the time in normal conditions.

Since when has changing mouse sensitivity been considered an exploit?

She still has her lullaby even when tinkerer is active. Are you sure you weren't within her terror radius (20m)? Her lullaby is only between 45-20m. If you are closer than 20m when tinkerer activates she is completely silent.
-
Because every survivor is supposed be chased by the killer equally. If you are refusing to get chased then you are actively hurting your team.

killer are on every level stronge. statistics showed us also on red ranks killer have above 2k average
Don't take those statistics too seriously. Even killers like pig and clown got well over 50% killrate even when they are clearly in dire need of buffs.

This is a forum no one comes here to worry about typing in perfect English we all just come here to throw our opinions at each other and complain about the game 99% of the time. Complete sentences with paragraph structure and grammar is too much to expect just be happy if you see someone using punctuation.
What do you expect when majority of english speakers are non-native.

if you are
A. only getting a single down per EW3 use
and B. not getting out of EW1 before 2 gens or not making use of the stealth gained from EW1
you are playing Myers wrong
I am like the most mediocre of players and even I can get at least 2 downs in EW3 and can easily get out of EW1 by the time the 1st gens done.
he's a fairly powerful killer, he just take a bit of time to learn (not a lot of time like nurse, but a bit)
You play at rank 1 with Myers?
-
Even Clown is way above 50% kill rate even if he is clearly underpowered and in dire need of buffs. Thats just goes to show that you can't just blindly look at statistics without context.

What? Why?

Yeah - You'll see the Orange Decisive Strike at Level 40 if you got the previous ones at 30/35.
Don't apologize for being new :)
You don't actually have to purchase level 30/35 teachables to get level 40 teachable.

Play for the 4vs1 not for the 1vs1. Easy spirit counter.

What? Are YOU going to heal me from across the map then?
I like being healthy, as in two health states. I also hate being limited on a majority of resources, so med-kits and Inner Strength are out. People don't always heal off hook and sometimes the killer comes back immediately.
As for that last guy healing up, that'll be because they are getting ready for the hatch race, since you still have a number of generators to complete and you're down to the last 2 survivors.
The problem is that most self care user always heal when they get the chance even if jumping on a gen would be a better choice.

4% stay 4% unless they use luck add-ons or Deliverance.
4% per attempt. It's obviously higher with more attempts.

It's meant to be an achievement, lol. It's fine if it's hard! Some of them are definitely harder than others because of the emblem system, but you'll get it eventually, even if it's just because you get matched with a weaker team.
Edit: You also don't need 12 hooks. You're probably good with 9.
You can't get iri emblem with just 9 hooks.

Nah. You cant make Voice Chat mandatory and balance around that. Some people want an immersed experience and dont want to talk to other people. This alone is a reason against this, since you have every player in mind and not only those who like to play with Friends.
So you think that nerfing just those who are in swf would be better idea? Right?
-
Definitely. Only people defending it are the ones using it.
-
This would heavily increase queue times and completely exlude pc from crossplay. I hope this doesn't happen.

It's still possible to get adepts after a survivor DCs or suicides, if you do almost perfectly in the other 3 categories. I managed to get Adept Hag despite having a survivor DC on first (or second?) hook, and I was in purple ranks when I got it.
Still crappy to happen, though. Keep pushing through and you'll get them.
Sadly in red ranks you need 4 iri emblems to get it so dc just ruins it.

I have read that the devs are working on nerfing both the key and mori.
I can't see how they can nerf the key on the same level as they can nerf a mori since there is an achievement tied to all 4 survivors escaping with the key.
Balance is a lot more important than achievements.
-
The average can't never be 2k since there are so many potatoes that go down in under 15 seconds even in red ranks. Unless you find a way to exclude those potatoes from statistics.
-
Did you test it yourself? At least on patch day it didn't work.
-
It's not that bad since survivors are completely playable and strong even without items.
-
Survivors are probably over 80% of their income so it makes sense pleasing them over killers.

Some people take the easy way. They can't beat it? So lets remove it.
Others thrive to improve.
You are just searching for the easy way.
You can't win every match. In every game you will see high skilled players bullying noobs. It's just what it is. Either you accept it and deal with it or get better and destroy them. What you can't ask for is removing SWF and make the game unplayable for many friends just so you can continue winning
But isn't SWF "the easy way" in this case?

People playing the game together is the problem?
Not the killer who refuses to take a tough game and learn from it, but would rather ######### on the forums that the game is too hard?
Right.
It wouldn't be a problem if the game was balanced around swf.

NO...I...WON’T
But seriously, I get a thrill out of mostly never being found while running No Mither, yet still contributing to repairs and assists.
So i’m not doing nothing, just not going to be reckless where the killer is concerned. All it takes is that one over confident survivor taking a risk they shouldn’t have to have thrown the game for everyone.
But you would have to be chased eventually or else you are just screwing over your team.

If the devs genuinely think a ping of 150 is good, then they're even more incompetent than I thought. There's not a single (good) competitive game that considers even 100 ping as good, let alone 150. generally 50 ping is considered bad in online games.
Sub 50 ping in dbd isn't feasible for most of the community considering how few servers they have. Under 100 ping is definitely good in this game.

Self Care heals at 50% speed. Botany makes it 33% faster. Which makes you heal at 83% speed. Or 17% slower. 17% added to the normal 16 seconds is 18.72 seconds.
Self care heals you at 0.5 of the normal speed or at 50% speed. Botany makes it 33% faster resulting in 0.665 or about 67% healing speed. Healing with 0.665 (~67%) healing speed takes 24 seconds.

18.72 seconds actually.
Your math is so painfully incorrect it's not even funny. You can also check out that video above that someone else linked If you don't believe me.

"You're healing at half speed!!!"
You're also requiring one less survivor to heal you, meaning instead of two survivors being dedicated to the healing action, only one survivor is dedicated to the healing action.
To put this in perspective:
You could have three people on a generator, while one is healing for 32 seconds, or two people on a generator, while two people are dedicated to the healing action for 16 seconds. Also, this game is a woeful buggy mess, so sometimes the healing action just stops once or twice quite frequently, adding to the time.
Or, what I like to do; run Botany with my Self Care, so instead of taking 32 seconds to heal myself, it only takes 19.2 seconds to heal myself, compare that to taking two people 16 seconds to do the healing action on one person, then self care is incredibly efficient.
Inner strength can be great and all, except when multiple people use it or are going for totems. Then you might be lucky to use it more than once.
I don't know where you got your numbers but self caring with botany takes 24 seconds.
