It's this reason people are mad, it's not Dead Hard even if some people want to say or thinking otherwise...
But the Healing thing, even circle of healing, I want to say... Meh, ok, if you say something about that, whatever, for some killer, it's a problem...
But, in top of that, if all healing take now 24 secondes, and plus if somes effect are in effect, with the fact that, it was a nerf for the gen perk in the killer side, but not in the survivor side
You got a lot of ellement who make a lot of people mad, but some other here are just like "Cry cry baby because dead hard is dead" ...
I want to say... Nobody give a ######### about dead hard
Exactly and that’s the only problem with this patch in the survivors side. I don’t know why people are overreacting on the DH “nerf”.

I agree with the “report me” reply. If you play well and hurt some killers’ pride they’ll accuse you of cheating for the dumbest reasons. I’ll give you a few examples that happened to me while playing survivor lol.
Facecamped by a bubba at endgame while Adrenaline activated while I was hooked and I had Deliverance, so when I unhooked myself I ran full speed with Adrenaline to the exit gate but then the Bubba accused me of “Speed Hacking”.
I once had a really good game where I succeeded in EVERY 50-50 while looping and ran the killer 4 gens so I got accused of “Wallhacking”.
And the dumbest of them all I was chased by a killer who desperately wanted a 4K while being the last and the loop I was running to had the hatch so I got accused of hacking because I found the hatch.
So never mind them they just cover up their shortcomings by accusing you.
-
lol someone had a bad game. The nurse is basically C tier now after getting nerfed imo.
-
So we should make it easier for Plague, Huntress and Trickster then? The top floor is their playground and the bottom floor has a few to no safe pallets other than the ones next to basement and the other behind the stairs which will eventually get broken.
-
It happened to me a few times on PS and closing the game does the trick. Nothing went wrong when I did.
-
It would be better if they make the entity progress 30% slower if the killer is within 6 meters from the hook.
-
Try playing survivor for a change lol
-
Hopefully
-
This is a solo q players’ nightmare.
-
It also punishes the killer for bad judgment. You should be aware of your surroundings and choose where to hook wisely while knowing who’s dead on hook. The same goes for survivors, dropping some pallets “in some cases only 1 pallet” results in a dead zone near gens, so the game punishes both killers and survivors for these things and I think it’s fair.
But I agree on Midwich having THE worst hook placements.

Sloppy, Enduring, Brutal and Jolt/Overcharged.

It's even more complicated to report on console with evidence.
In console you can’t even write an explanation below while reporting. It’s hilarious how big the game has gotten while still having such differences between console and PC.
-
Medusa with a power based on direct eye contact gaining hindrance while utilizing mirrors that spawn around the map while playing her, would be fun.
-
Unfortunately this is a common occurrence in the game so what you should do “in my opinion” is to go after them to the exit gate and get every hit you can even if they escaped you saved time and got free blood points for hitting them and in some rare occasions someone messes up and you get a free kill.
-
Horrible idea
-
I would change Potential Energy to lose one token every 3 seconds until healed or lose all tokens when downed instead of injured. Regarding Quick Gambit I think it would be better if it was something like it activates after being in a chase for 30 seconds all other survivors have increased repair/opening exit gates speed “same values” and it deactivates when the chase ends by losing the killer or getting downed. Fogwise is just a decent solo q perk.
-
I had it happen to me twice in a row while both games had the same cheater so I guess unless you were a full swf then one of the players is a cheater.
-
Well at least it’s not permanent. I’ve been playing this game for 5 years and the lowest ping I had was 110 while having 140+ regularly because the middle east doesn’t seem to be relevant for the devs.
-
I dodge based on prestige level but not if it’s a high prestige level, it’s the exact opposite. I usually get matched with prestiges higher than 30-50 at the least so when I encounter a prestige 0 anonymous mode it’s a dead giveaway of hackers so I dodge them.
-
I really enjoy playing against him but the one problem I have with him is his tunneling capability, if you’re hooked while being infected most of the killers “I” have been against will tunnel you because of the hindrance that you will eventually get. So I would suggest adding a mechanic that works like the pig’s trap when you’re unhooked and chased the infection wouldn’t progress so that you can have a chance to survive.
-
Fun story : a friend of mine started playing the game early 2021 he’s rank 17 with Killer and he was like it’s too easy, so I told him hop on my account “which is rank 5 and I always match against rank 1 swfs lol” he did that and I was sitting next to him watching the game he matched up against a full team of swf legacy dwights with purple flashlights and as soon as they caught glimpse of him being a noob they started swarming him and flickering, they showed him hell and he got so mad but them trying to bully the killer cost them the game, he was able to eventually slug them and hook them for a 4K.

You just refuse to accept that other people are better than you at something. Please, learn to accept that you're not the greatest survivor alive. Holy moly, lol
You’ve got issues buddy.

One of the devs said 150 ping is a pretty good ping. I kid you not. It was in that video in which they explained hit registration.
So, don't expect improvements. Hit validation was a set-to-fail experiment where they implemented a permissive mechanics regulated to do nothing because there are areas where they can't have servers. Then, they opened a thread where they straight-up ignored the unanimous feedback that told them that it wasn't working. Now, all that is swept under the rug, drowned by the hyping-up of the new chapter and cosmetics. Typical par-the-course bhvr.
Well isn’t that just professional from them. Thanks for the info mate.

These comments are just too funny and probably from sweaty entitled survivors. Haters gonna hate man.

It worked for me on both steam and ps5 this morning
How do you use the codes on PS5?
-
So these codes are only for PC players ? Console players get nothing eh

He’s Micheal Myers. Do you really need to think twice? And the scratch mirror jump scares? Priceless.

I was playing just a few hours ago and got a few flashlight saves, I assure you that flashlights are working fine.
Yea man I don’t mean they always do that. What I’m pointing out is that it’s been happening a lot of times recently around 35% of the time if I may say .. for me
-
Could it be somewhat of a connection issue? Because my ping is always 160+ .
But if it’s the connection then why does it happen while I’m playing as a killer too? Weird..
-
@Gibberish said:
You are probably doing it way too early. They have to be fully blinded while they are carrying the survivor, not during the pickup animation.
There is a specific timing to it where you start blinding them during the near the end of the pickup animation so that they become fully blinded the moment the pickup animation ends.
Yea I know about that , the blind was timed perfectly in each time and it happened while I played as killer as well that’s why I’m so sure about that
-
@blendetteontinder said:
Had an archive to blind killer so I did so with them holding a survivor but they didn't drop the survivor but it awarded that one "blind"
I actually played killer a few times these days and survivors actually blind me when I’m picking up a survivor but the survivor isn’t dropped lol
-
It actually depends on the killer. If the killer doesn’t know what he’s doing imma go save but if it’s the opposite then sorry mate, one of us gotta get out.

I am sure I have logged 50x more hours than you. Survivor queue times are long. You can see the posts.
Fun fact : I don’t really care about what you have or the posts and “data”, I believe what I see. I’m having less than 60-30 seconds wait times and I’m seeing that I’m not alone actually. SocialDistomancy is on point with what he said I actually agree with him. Trust yourself man don’t trust those who put an excuse to every problem you face.

So then why are you starting a post which is essentially “reee killers must be cheating” when you know it’s just a general problem with the matchmaking?
So for example, if there’s a glitch in the game who’s fault is it? The devs right? That’s what I’m saying. AND by killers cheating if someone abused a glitch or whatever isn’t it the same? And I was asking I wasn’t making a statement when I said that. I’d suggest you think a little bit more before responding but nonetheless good point buddy !

If it helps, my queue time in solo q surv are 10 seconds to 45 seconds tops. I'm often paired with a rainbow that can include a Killer way below my rank or way above my rank. I don't consider 45 seconds a long time to wait.
My point exactly, thank you.

There is no excuse for not being enough killers? OK.
I don't know what 30-second queue matches you are running but most of us are minutes, often 5-10+, even with cross play on. Killers are no wait.
The longer you wait, the more likely you will get matched with a killer of varied skill.
First of all you might wanna check your internet connection. Second, I’m gonna say it as much as it takes so you may understand this, IT IS NOT AN EXCUSE, but who am I saying this to? Definitely not you or any entitled Killer main but to the ones who made this mistake in the game from the beginning.

I like how you conveniently ignore the fact that rank 13 killers are put against full red/purple teams all the time too
lol I’m not ignoring that. I know for a fact that this happens but I’m not the kind of guy that talks in behalf of people. I’m stating my problem as a survivor and that’s it. The thing you’re mentioning is a big f up from the devs and it’s obvious. The survivors’ problem isn’t so obvious as the killers because no one can say for a fact that its just because “there ain’t no killers”. Survivors got problems and so do Killers. The one at fault is known to us all. Don’t go starting a Survivor vs Killer war.
-
I kinda like the FNAF gameplay but I don’t think they fit in here. BTW The Legion’s skins look like them so idk
-
@crowbarman said:
The issue is there is not enough killers. How long did you wait in the queue?
You can wait longer, I suppose.
I’m glad you mentioned that.
First of all this is not an excuse for this thing EVER. Secondly, I did not wait more than 30 seconds to get into a game. And I don’t really think that there’s not enough killers anyways because these times that the survivors are screwed over with are golden for the killers no matter how much a killer main would complain they’ve got the upper hand in terms of normal gameplay “ I started playing killer from time to time because of it “ . So yeah..
-
I think a good rework would be removing any kind of staggering and making the sprint burst you get limited to 1 second or not at all. And have the rarity varies for duration 60/50/40 as a timer not related to exhaustion ( only if they don’t put a speed boost ).
-
There is absolutely NOTHING scarier than the hag’s jump scares. Unless you count Myers in.

How new are you? :) The Pips help you earn Rank but your Rank has less to do with who you are matched with than the needs of the Que, your Region, and the time of day. Ultimately... "the Spice must flow" and thus they have to keep the matches going or the game dies. Thus, you are matched more often by the "first in first out method" and nothing else. It has been that way for well over a month, almost two now.
Even if/when they get the new MMR system running, what makes you think it is going to work that hard on matching your teammates with you by skills? The primary function will be to match the OVERALL rating of the Survivors combined against the Killer's rating. That is the paradox of the 4v1; it will not be matching you with individuals of your own Skill. It is going to match you in a batch, and then that batch is going to be roughly lined up with a Killer they think will make a decent challenge.
You are going to have to be both pragmatic and realistic. Control the things you can control, i.e. yourself and those teammates you can communicate with directly. This is the game. It isn't going to change much. You either rise to the challenges it presents or you move on to a game that better meets your needs. When you play Survivor you are going to have bad teammates from time to time (it may even seem that way all the time). Even when you get good teammates, there is still going to be at least one weakest link. The winner of a match is the side that makes the fewest mistakes, and there being more Survivors, there are more potential mistakes.
In regards to your notion of a training mode, what I am guessing you mean by a more in depth tutorial, it isn't viable. Why? This game has too many variables. Every Killer has his/her own style, tactics, and strategies. There is the random elements of the spawn, builds, and add-on(s)/offerings. There is (as already discussed) the unpredictable nature of your teammates. A training mode only works, for matching purposes, if there is minimum standard of behavior and expectation of behaviors. Those do not exist in Dead by Daylight. The best a tutorial can manage is something covering the mechanical aspects of the game. Bad teammates are not failing the mechanical aspects; they are simply failing in adaptation and strategy. There is no fix for that other than them simply getting better over time.
Man stop turning every response you could make into an essay. Make your point clear and go on your way. We all noticed you and your genius, mission accomplished.

He already can dude. Scratch mirror add on .

I don't understand why the devs won't implement multiple killers for custom games. Balancing wouldn't be a problem, it's with your friends.
I think it'd be fun for 2 Bubbas to team up on the best looper & see how long they'd last.
Brilliant.

New idea : a killer that can possess a survivor then take control of him/her. Maybe he can attack other survivors while doing that or undercover fail skill checks for them .
