I don't expect those things. I'm literally calling out the entitlement. I don't know if you're baiting, but killers don't owe survivors anything. Every killer has the right to tunnel, slug, teabag, then shame the survivors in the after chat just like I expect most survivors are running DS, teabagging at exit gates, and roasting killers in the after chat after nabbing a few head on blows.
Your post should have been directed at OP and the fact it's not is hypocritical and severely biased.
Basically what you're saying is "Killers are allowed to be toxic cause survivors are toxic.
Honestly the double standard is pretty strong with you.
Yes please spread more toxic behaviour cause thats what this game needs.

@TransverseCaster said:
Also, the killer is not playing for you. Are you going to pretend you play for the killer? You give him fair chases? You don't teabag at any exit gates? Get out of here lol
You sound so entitled. The Karen of DbD

A new player using the new survivor will have access to Visionary immediately. They won’t need to go through however many bloodwebs before Déjà Vu shows up.
Déjà Vu expires every 60 seconds when it activates. A new player might be in a chase, or on the hook during one of those occasions, potentially forgetting where the highlighted gens were before Déjà Vu next activates.
Visionary is simply much more beginner friendly at the outset.
I can understand that but what if you're being chased even with visonary? It's gonna run out when you're being chased/hooked
And besides with it being DLC it mostly likely not gonna be eaiser to get compared to none DLC perks.

Visionary is good for beginners.
And it’s persistent aura reading all the time except for it’s super small cooldown once a gen is repaired.
Well dejavu has no cool down and im sure even the most newest of survivors can see 3 big bright red gens.

Probably to make it easier to find gens for new survivor or in general on indoor maps? I don't see any other use.
But...maps and Dejavu do the same thing :/

I would phrase it a little more compassionately, but I don't understand tunneling and camping either. I'm a survivor main who recently started playing as the killer and I can get two kills without having to rely on those tactics. I don't count that as a loss because I didn't ~catch them all. That's while lagging/teleporting back to where I was two seconds ago often (just bought a PS4 to counter that). I think it's a disadvantage for the killers to tunnel and camp. They're so worried about securing that one kill that they let the other survivors gen rush and escape. Best case scenario, altruistic survivors without borrowed time try to unhook them anyway and they get an extra kill.
There's so much negatively in post game chats. That's true for all games but especially DBD. You're either competing against a four man team alone or you're weirdly competing against your own teammates as a survivor. It's a long read but if you skim this, you'll get the gist of what I mean. I think some killers are so worried about not feeling humilated post-game that they forget to have fun. I can't imagine it's much fun to stand in place and stare at someone for a minute and a half each time they hook someone. If people (survivors and killers alike) focused more on having fun, there would be less unnecessary pressure. Then they wouldn't resort to tactics that aren't fun for either side. I mean, I had a killer play peekaboo with me when I was crouched behind a box before and I think they still managed to kill three of us. It doesn't have to be so intense.
This Post brings tears to my eyes :')

This one is definitely on the boring side though.
I dunnoooo I find his move wierd style of game play more engaging to watch than legions pallet jumping.

Nobody with a brain would say that all swf groups are toxic.
well good thing you know that but that doesn't go for quite a a lot of killers that I've seen.

There are regions in this game where its nothing but insane try hard teams. When people go against that, it tends to make them jaded.
I went against that crap constantly, I quit the game. Once crossplay happened, I started getting these weaker teams and holy crap is the game more enjoyable.
It might be my region cause AUS is pretty chill for the most part. So naturally my view of this game is pretty bias

Actually, that data is false. I have no idea where the Devs pulled it from, but in reality the number of SWF teams you go against is determined by the time of day you play. And since I am on PC, I can very easily check their friends lists. In the last few months, I have discovered that between the hours of 9pm and 1am, almost every individual team has at least a 2-person SWF. Most have 3-4 people in a party. And, since they have access to comms, they aren't afraid or disorganised and absolutely slam the generators. While I do not blame them for this, it is absolutely stupid game design and needs to be rectified, instead of attempting to cover it over with flasified data the Devs even contradicted themselves with (I believe they said that somewhere around 70% of players at red ranks were SWF).
Quite surprised you could check their profiles. Most of the time when I've checked its set to private so I cant really tell till I'm in game.
-
well I'm not here saying "All SWF not are toxic" just simply some are just chill people trying to have fun. I know SWF even with none try hards is still unfair. And im not here to dunk on killers either but some of them get so frustrated they end up being just as toxic as the team they just versed. In the end my post will do nothing but I can hope that some killers will not jump to the conclusion that the team they are versing is going out if their to make the killers life hell.

Your right not every SWF is toxic. the game is very frustrating at times and just like survivors, sometimes they vent and look for excuses. the game needs changes though. too many things can go in favour of one side. like a swf group all pre made builds, brings a map offering for ormond or something with keys and object.
or killers who camp the first hooked person then run straight back for a mori. devs really should of made more changes by now. too much freedom to be as toxic as u want.
Yeah a lot of these issues should have been addressed loooong ago. But I do have a feeling the devs are too afraid to do anything about SWF since most of the survivor player base are SFW and I doubt they wanna lose a majority of their survivors.

It's how the game is swf can be toxic most of the time yes some are just friends having fun but they also can be toxic which pisses off the killer takes it out on the next game and the toxic spreads.
Thats the sad truth :( toxicity will always spread more toxicity. Such is the cycle of DBD

Doesn't matter if you're a toxic group or not.
Doesn't matter if toxic groups are rare.
You shouldn't be able to gain such an insane advantage over solo survivors while also incurring NO downsides for it.
It's cool that friends get to play together. It's not cool that that same mechanism that lets them play together is also basically just cheating for serious groups.
You don't always balance something because the majority couldn't abuse it, sometimes you have to balance something because only a very small portion of the community can abuse it so well. Look at Zenyatta from OW, an overwhelming majority of the community doesn't even use him, but because a single pro player was so good with him they had to nerf the character. Same kind of logic here, most people are fine in SWF, but those that are so game-breakingly abusive with it will never get put in check if we just ignore SWF all together because "Not all SWF groups are toxic"
I'm not saying SWF is balanced cause that is far from the truth. Even if the number is small it is still abused. But this post is more to just say not every swf is gonna be a bunch of bullies. But I do agree that even the none try hards still have a massive advantage.

Maybe you should rephrase your original post then because it sounds like you're saying "SWF Fine, Killer bad, git gud scrub"
Yeah, I don't think your method of showing that some SWF's are 'chill' will have any affect. Definitely won't for me. If I see that you're SWF's you're getting tunneled one by one until you're all dead. Privating your profile or friends list doesn't help either! If I see that then I'll just assume you're SWF's!
Thanks for being part of the problem.

I never said the devs should leave SWF cause I do agree that SWF is insanely broken. This post was more of a there are some chill swf who are just trying to relax and hoping to get killers to see that not every single group is trying to bully them.

I personally dislike SWF because while sure, some groups are just a bunch of chumps laughing, it's just the fact that four people can group together annoys me a bit because of the benefits that gives.
I know, I know. Can't remove it since that would kill the playerbase or whatever people say. It just sucks seeing it in a lobby as a killer. Honestly, SWF isn't toxic in of itself but I still dislike it.
See, I can understand that point of view cause it does give a massive advantage for when SWF do tryhard. Honestly I have no idea how the devs could make swf more balanced or even if its possible.

Wholeheartedly agree. I´d like to add that some of these "toxic" groups sometimes just act cocky to have fun. I had it happen SO often that after I beat them or the match was at least really entertaining that light smacktalk can be hell of a lot more fun than getting butthurt.
Depends though, the true toxic groups (they DO exist) will do everything they can to humiliate the Killer and ruin his experience.
yes sadly that will always be the case :( but I do get tired of people generalizing SWF groups.

Playing survivor also sucks. Unless you have a full group of friends, you just get stuck with the worst players who make the worst decisions.
On top of having crappy teammates without fail, the second you get put on a hook you will be facecamped and tunneled to death. Along with the flashlight blind changes, yeah I'm done.
So to summarize, playing killer sucks, playing survivor sucks, this game sucks. I'm done. I can't believe I spent money on this game, so much money wasted.
Funny enough I noticed an increase of bad survivors since the ruin change. It seems no matter what rank your at now you're team will always be full of weenies. :(

I think that 32m is too much. Please, decrease it to 1m.
Do people even use this perk? Like I never see it.

@Pipefish said:
A second chance perk that literally triggers every forty seconds. Who thought this was a good idea. My suggestion is to have it give you the broken status like no mither. What you all think ?
You sound like you're still new to the game if Dead Hard is a problem for you.

Yeah NOED can feel so frustrating at times. Yesterday a NOED Spirit got me at the end right at the gate, mere feet away from getting my last map achievement (Hawkins). Feltbadman.
On the flipside it would be pretty unfair to just remove a killer perk that can feel frustrating for survivors at times yet doing nothing to compensate. Maybe identify 2nd chance perks and limit them to 1 per survivor also? :P
I´m not for it. Hopefully someone will come up with nice solutions to the most imbalanced perks and gets heard by the devs so the game will feel more fair and balanced.
I find noed is balanced its just theres no way to know how many totems are left for solo q. I'd rather they buff Small Game by telling you how many totems are left in the match. Would be a nice QoL buff to an already decent perk :)

i literally only see kids with OoO,ds,unbreakable and dead hard lmfao its hilarious seeing them need crutch perks to live. nerf ds so its a anti tunnel perk not a immunity perk. and make unbreakable slower its way to fast u can literally be off the ground in 5 seconds. like #########
I never understand post like these. I dunno how long you've been playing but if you still think DS is a broken perk I'd hate to see how you dealt
with OG D strike...Current D strike does its job to help survivors against tunneling killers. Do some survivors take advantage of the 60 seconds and act like ass hats? Of course they do but calling the perk "OP" is kinda ridiculous.

And killers should participate in matches they don't want then? I can see your bias, because killers love 4 man swf with smol pp builds and OoO right? It is fun!!!!
Thats not what he was talking about but okay. Gotta force that victimhood right?
-
Not saying they're hard but the lack of creativity for quite a lot of the challanges is just.....Baffling.
-
Even when noed activates most of the time survivors are good players and just leave. MOST of the time. :P
-
Where did he say that survivors have less advantages?
He's talking about an issue thats pretty common issue thats happening within the game.
He just suggested some ways that could fix the issue and you say he isnt a "Killer Main"
-
Ah just wasnt too sure thanks for letting me know. :)
