Could they though? Easily have said “no” that is. The fact is that we don’t have all the details (and probably never will). But I could absolutely imagine some dirty lawyer tricks being worked into the wording of the contracts involved.
Again, I don’t know what happened, but I always like to play devil’s advocate instead of jumping to conclusions. Imagine the contract has some vague wording like “participate in the profitability of the license”. BHVR thinks that means to make the Pinhead models for Park Avenue to use, so they sign the contract. Now all of a sudden the deal with Boss comes to light and BHVR is legally and contractually obligated to participate because of a cheap trick in the text. At the very least, there could be a really expensive court battle to decide what the text even means.
Even if this isn’t the case, it’s POSSIBLE. It’s possible that they were roped in without a choice because, from a legal standpoint, they could be on the hook for losing a LOT more than just access to the Hellraiser license. Since it’s possible (and therefore likely that they couldn’t even tell us about it), I will withhold judgement until more facts come out.

Actually playing Valheim (sometimes) already! I enjoy it. Ni No Kuni 1 was such a charming game, I didn't even know a second one came out. I'm a little too scared to restart my addiction to Pokemon, however.
Lol I love the opening to Ni No Kuni 2. You control the president of the United States and get whisked away when a nuke hits your city. Then like a BAMF you use a gun to take down people trying to kill a prince. Also I fully plan on droqning in pokemon diamond and pearl

I'll probably get back into Dark Souls 3 myself, at least until Elden Ring comes out.
Or maybe I'll really torture myself and start playing Overwatch or Paladins again.
Can I recommend New world, deathloop, pokemon unite, Valhiem, Alan Wake Remastered, or Ni No Kuni 1 and 2. All different genres all amazing games In their own way.

But I think GoodBoyKaru and I are similar from what I've seen. I get the sense they'll come back and just be passive aggressive or shitpost all the time.

They were such prominent members of the Forum Community (and the only people ahead of me in upvotes) and they were very popular here. I always enjoyed reading what they had to say.

Indeed, I've heard about it before. Now imagine, as you said, a "beefier" version of it where the owners of the game came from the community itself.
Imagine what we could accomplish.
I think the community would pull together a great game. I mean God just look at the completely ignored otz mid chapter patch where he pulled together some of the communities most requested changes and fixes. That post has some of the best balancing ideas I've heard and it came from a combination of everyone

Destiny has a lot of ups and downs but if anything they are transparent as hell. Weekly update blogs that details what they are working on, how their feeling. It's great

That is actually a good idea, not gonna lie.
This is a much beefier version of the destiny summit. Where all the top content creators and best players come together to preview upcoming content and give feedback that's used to change stuff that's coming down the line. It's honestly how destiny with all of its issues has pumped out some the best changes to destiny

I feel like if in the next week they don't actually talk to us. Not a tweet, not a random mod post. But actually talk to us about how we feel and hear us out and just communicate like a human being. Than the community will shrivel up and die. This one hurt, more than ever this one hurt the very people who day in and day out defend BHVR.

I appreciate and at the same time am saddened that so many acounts with thousands of posts are uninstalling. So many people come on here with like 10 posts to say they are leaving. Never has this many thousand deep posts done this though

Make DBD feel like DBD, as it should.
Maybe then I wouldn't have panic attacks from constantly being in a state of hyperfocus and self reprimand from the tiniest of mistakes. Something that only happens to me in DBD and R6 Siege.

I eventually gave up on the conversation because I didn't want to get nasty, cause I was getting there. Was frustrated because my concerns were cast aside. I forgive orion because defending someone when there's no definitive proof should be an honorable thing not a villainous act.

It's still in hidden beta. They said that the beta will start "soon" and come in waves. As the beta sign ups were many times the amount they actually expected. We probably won't see an actual release till like early early next year

I mean search the word blendette on YT and you'll see tons and tons of content creators using it in that way. Far be it from me to say what people should/shouldn't be offended by but I don't think when people say blendette they are being harmful or inciting hatred of any kind.
It's best not to project intentions onto people who say it, since most would see it as a dbd meme. A funny name for a character wearing certain clothes and the memes surrounding that character being hard to see.
I think this is where my stance lies, however I find it interesting that that many people had an issue with something I never even thought was an issue.

Thank you really clears things up. I'm sure the literal hundreds of tweets today between hundreds of players including well known content creators never thought of that.
There issue argues that other characters can blend just as well who aren't black but they weren't singled out. The joke instead went onto at the time the only black character. The idea being that it was purely because of her skin colour and not because she was the best choice for blending in.
Atleast that's what I have gathered.

As an update its been confirmed by (actor for pinhead) Doug Bradley's wife on Instagram that Doug has done some work with this company and that they were told it was in relation to dead by daylight. They do not know anything more as they are not knowledgeable about videogames or NFT's, all they have confirmed is that Doug did some voice acting work for this NFT company. this is not confirmation that BHVR is working with them. Doug could have been scammed right alongside everyone else. But he did get paid.

for quite a few job fields yes, yes it is. its called being on call. If I have clients that are setting me up for a 5 digit cost shoot production. I make myself available. Most content creation fields require to have people on call in case something crazy happens. Bad PR is part of that. it is absolutely the norm in the specific field we are talking about.

Why is it on BHVR? I can understand why they'd want to do it, but it's not on them to dispel every obviously fake rumor just because people might believe it. Otherwise, that's all they'd be doing.
Again, five seconds of reading was all it took to discern this is 100% fake. Even if you didn't already know the Chatterer was purchasable via the in-game store, it'd take you maybe a minute to open the in-game store and check.
because its is about BHVR as a company. That's like saying why would celebrities' release statements on false sexual assault rumours. They are under no obligation sure, but I guarantee you its the right move to make. its basic Public Relations when you're a notable company or person. its why they even have different laws on slander and libel because they are considered public entities. They have to play a different game then you and me when it comes to protecting their image.
