Pretty sure the Myers hand thing is tied to his movement speed, not the add-on he's using.
-
I think it's like this to look similar to how the Resident Evil titles look. If that is the case, the new look is probably temporary.
-
If only you could equip the same charm 3 times. I'd do it solely to piss off those kind of idiots to the max.
-
Grabs have been ######### for years.
-
New feature: Breakable vaults.
For real though, I'm not expecting anything. I'm content with knowing the contents of the chapter.
-
I'll take Isaac but only if he's in the suit from the first game as his default outfit. Love the look of it and seeing it prestiged would be very interesting.
-
Both sides do things that annoy the other. Let people have their fun.
-
Jake is the only one I think looks better.

what are you talking about you telling me this doesn't fit into dbd
It would be amazing if DbD could handle something like this because it was a highlight of the game for me. Loved it.
-
She'd honestly be a pretty boring killer as she has nothing interesting about her that could be a power that fits into DbD.
-
I don't feel like it'd be a good idea to change the height of Lady D considering there is a lore related reason as to why she is as tall as she is. I personally think she'd look odd if she was made to be shorter. Although it's not something I'd rule out happening.
Having her bend down to go through doors does sound like a good idea but then you consider the fairly large amount of work that would need to go into it to actually make it look good as there is so much potential for a large amount of her clipping through things. Just something as simple as her turning around while bending down in a doorway is going to mean her clipping pretty far into most doorways as they aren't usually wide.
First of all they need to put a system in place that detects when she should bend down, which is probably quite a bit of work. Then they would likely need to create extra animations on top of this, such as her swinging, carrying someone and getting stunned while bending down. Another thing they would probably need to do is move the flashlight blinding zone whenever she bends down.

It's pretty outdated now since the recent changes to Demo but there should still be a good amount of useful information in this video, made by someone that mains Demogorgon - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crw2LcaGNFY
I particularly found the Shred tips useful when I was getting started with Demo.

As much as I love Resident Evil 8, having finished it 3 times, I feel like a chapter based around it would be a terrible way to celebrate 25 years of the franchise. To me it just simply makes more sense to pull stuff from the oldest games, the most iconic stuff. Characters that people will have known and loved for years as opposed to the fresh stuff.
Also, I'm not really sure how any of the characters from Village could make for interesting enough killers in DbD. I only see potential for Heisenberg but even then, would he be enough to pull a massive amount of players in?
-
Not sure if it would count as obscure and the character seems pretty similar to Pyramid Head but i'd love to have The Keeper from The Evil Within as a killer. Playing as him in The Executioner DLC was a ######### blast.

- Yes, killers can find and stomp the gnomes.
- There is only one gnome on the map, but whenever it's destroyed it will respawn somewhere else.
- I'm not sure, but I imagine if someone has already kicked a gnome that they can't kick another one.
To clarify point 3, you can't break a gnome if you've already broken one. After breaking the gnome I spotted him again on my way out, with no prompt to break him when I was grabbing some close up pictures of him.
-
The laugh lets you know a gnome has spawned. Find him, break him, unlock a charm for doing so. Provided you escape as a survivor, as a killer I don't think there are any extra steps.
-
They'd be dumb to pass up on the opportunity to create a map for the chapter. So there is no doubt in my mind about a map being made for the chapter.
-
As much as I love Village I would much prefer old characters to be the focus of the chapter. Maybe throw some Village characters in as legendary outfits.
-
I noticed this too. I doubt it's a reference to DbD though. Probably just a common sound people can use. Just like i've heard some sounds DbD has elsewhere.
-
I don't see Corrupt mixed in that often but I certainly see a ######### load of Ruin + Pop together, typically with Undying or Tinkerer too.
-
This is very clever, I like it.
-
Could be a bug seeing as the collision is intended to be removed after being idle for 30 seconds.
-
Probably because they are quick to make which is useful when they need them every few months.
-
The problem is that the vomit stream looks like this, with O being the parts that damage
===O===O===O===O
That's just a rough example, I don't know the scale of it. So you're really launching a series of projectiles that are only visually connected. Also, I think it was with dedicated servers that the vomit became buggy like you said. When a survivor would react by being hit by the vomit but not actually get infected. Kinda like how Myers would lose Stalk progress, although I believe they fixed that. Guess it's harder to do for the Plague or she's not a priority, which I feel is more likely.
-
I wouldn't be mad but I would be disappointed as i'd personally rather have more iconic characters. The same games for the survivor side too, much rather have someone like Leon over Ethan.

Being honest it would just make hooking survivors impossible as they'd just force stun a killer carrying a survivor.
Remember ANY stun releases a carried survivor and well we all know what happened when they removed the timing requirements from pick up saves(And how it was the fasted removed feature in the game's history).
It also would render flashlights irrelevant.
It could be a slowdown instead, like the one you get after swinging your weapon.
-
They're just waiting for the Mortal Kombat crossover to see if they get to use Scorpion or Sub Zero before they make an original killer with the other element.
-
Honestly, I kinda wanna see this happen.
-
It'd be interesting for a few matches and then the player base for it will drop.
-
There's no doubt in my mind that the chapter will be based on the first few games as they are easily the most iconic and well known. I'm also one of the people predicting that they will likely try to pull things from a few games like they did with the Silent Hill chapter.
-
Probably the biggest problem people have with the Deathslinger is that quick scoping is so fast it's almost impossible to dodge and can be faked with essentially no penalty. So it doesn't really feel like you can do much in a chase other than guess what the killer is going to do as the Deathslinger can zone a survivor even without the need of doing anything.
With people hating the Spirit because going against her becomes a guessing game, it makes sense people hate this about Deathslinger and why people made a big deal about Pyramid Head too. Though for some reason I haven't really noticed anyone complain about Demogorgon for the same thing.
-
This is a pretty damn fine idea that i'd honestly like to see on a PTB
-
It's a serious option and wouldn't be the first time Scooby Doo has crossed over with something with a more mature rating. The crossover episode they did on Supernatural was ######### brilliant.
I'm not super familiar with Scooby Doo so I don't know what kind of character could be chosen for the killer and I feel like if this did happen it'd be a situation like Bill and Ash. Maybe even just a batch of cosmetics.
-
Maybe you can get the info about hitboxes you want from this dev stream https://youtu.be/A8SwqJJKlaY?t=344
Should be timestamped, if it doesn't work it starts around 5:44
-
Just for the sake of being able to play a video game featuring Sam & Dean i'd be all for it.
-
Honestly i'd like the option to turn the filter off. Not a fan of it being forced on. I don't care about bad language and the like.
-
I'd be down for having more monster type killers. The Demogorgon felt weird to have in DbD to me at first but they fairly quickly became one of my favourite killers.

I wish I had a shot at getting the crown again. I regret not getting it for Jeff.
That's a shame because it is amazing on Jeff. Makes him look holy.

Yes, It was a simple yet very effective event :D
The only change i'd make is to include another slot for the accessory in the customization screen so I could mix and match my crown and head pieces.
A new slot would be nice. I remember when we had a lunar new year event and the lanterns would give a little particle effect around your character. Back then I wanted that as a cosmetic option in its own slot.

They would change the tricksters power before the launch of the next chapter.
That would be an even worse thing to do for the people that enjoy playing him as he is. Plus with how slowly the devs work this just doesn't even seem possible.
-
I'm hoping the characters we get are from the older games but I wouldn't mind if it turned out to be some of the newest characters.
-
I understand what you mean but it'd be pretty terrible of them to release 2 killers that function basically the same back to back.
-
Not everything can be a hit and that's fine with me. Plus so far, overall, they've made a nice amount of content that I find to be good.
-
For something as big as this, surely they can put map reworks on hold. I'm not gonna get my hopes up though.
-
It's pretty exciting. I'm personally a sucker for crossovers and i've really enjoyed the Resident Evil games i've played so this is dope.

Short answer:
No,not at all
Right after I posted my comment I saw this on my YouTube homepage, the bloody timing of this video by Scott Jund
-
I've always wondered how useful Rat Liver actually is because sure, OG 9% sounds good but does it really make a significant difference when in most cases you're holding Shred for like a few seconds at most?
-
@OniWantsYourMacaroni said:
That's an increase from 92% up to 96,5% movement speed while charging your Shred.
Great change
Thank you for giving numbers that are more useful to have
-
Once they are unhooked I guess the only thing you can do is try and body block them until the 12(?) seconds is up.
-
I've seen barely any but when I play Legion I usually use it myself. Mad respect to all the bunny Legions out there.
