Thanks for this information.
-
I hope they do something about Blight, either his addon or base power, just like Nurse. After they rework or change a few Nurse addon, the number of Nurse players decreases.
-
Because old DBD doesn't have a lot of options for the aura reading (information) perk, That's why Nurses Calling and BBQ became meta.
Nowhere To Hide, Darkness Reveal, Flood of Rage, Lethal Pursuer, Ultimate Weapon, Infectious Fright etc are better than Nurses Calling

The range thing is kinda wrong. You were right that UW is your TR, but that's not always 32 meters. You're gonna have iffy results with a stealth killer, or even just a killer like Huntress that has a small TR.
Those birds though... those go off a crap ton, lol. Try playing a game or 2 with Spies, the value is real. Yeah, your not gonna be notified of EVERY survivor around, but you can't chase in 4 separate directions anyways and the amount of notifications you'll get from Spies will be drastically more on any given match, even if you spam UW every minute.
i know what is terror radius, most killer have 32 meter terror radius that why i use it as example.
Lol, for what reason a stealth killer use perk like Ultimate Weapon?
-
You really wrong if you compare Spies from Shadow with Ultimate Weapon
- Spies From Shadow only active if survivor scare a crow, Ultimate Weapon active for 30s and range 32 meter (terror radius).
- The only thing killer need to do to activate Ultimate Weapon is open a locker and with Dredge update there a lot of locker added to the game.
- Crow usually spawn at corner map and survivor can counter it with crouch.
- Ultimate Weapon still active when survivor inside a locker

Was there ever a reason to play Solo Q besides the extra challenge or the complete lack of will to find gaming buddies?
“lack of will finding gaming buddies”
Dude, some people enjoy playing solo survivor.. please....

Why would you need Reassurance basekit if the killer isn't camping?
Just make the unhook.
Outside 24m hook progression faster
Inside 24m hook progression normal
Take example this situation, you running to save but survivor on hook almost phase two and the killer going back to hook, usually most survivor can do is trade.
With Reassurance you can buying more time and then call more survivor or simply plan new strategy to save survivor on the hook.
And Don't forget, Monstruous Shrine also make all basement hook become Scourge Hook.
-
Then as a survivor main i demand Reassurance basekit
-
I stop saying GG for like 3 years until now.
Yep, i see a lot of player only type "GG" when they win the match.
-
- No screaming when inside a locker
- Nerf activation time

It's not a bug. It's been confirmed.
Furthermore, this perk is immune to Calm Spirit. Yes, seriously. They don't scream but the killer gets the blip notification and everything.
I just tried it on a custom match with Bot. No, Calm Spirit completely counters Ultimate Weapon. no screaming and no notification

The locker blocks auras, but it does not block screams.
- The locker "grounds" the survivor so they are not electrocuted by the Doctor's Shock Blast (otherwise you would still gain madness even if the locker prevented your scream).
- The survivor with Scene Partner does not scream while inside a locker and in the killer's terror radius because the survivor cannot "look" in the killer's direction (hence the blindness status effect).
You forget Infectious Fright, inside locker you did not scream when killer downed other survivor.
-
I think the problem is Ultimate Weapon not Face The Darkness
-
Good, now i see more and more discussion about this perk.
-
I'm a survivor main but its kinda funny seeing survivor say killer aura reading perk is OP.
One distortion can counter almost all killer aura reading perk or addon.

I see many people with a severe case of skill issue complaining about this perk and asking for a nerf.
You can easily counter it by either running Calm Spirit (which is now thankfully a more viable perk) or simply moving in an unpredictalbe direction the moment your position is given away.
Imagine you being tunnel by the killer, you finally escape the chase and killer found you again with ultimate weapon.

Ultimate Weapon

The games' engine, the perks, addons, new content on top of old content, items, offerings, some maps, old tome challenges that requires you to do insane tasks (eg hatch)? Doesn't it feel outdated to you for a live service game?
Yep, their engine too old. They can't add feature like replay and better anti cheat system.

@brokedownpalace said:
Does Calm Spirit negate the location aspect too or just the scream?
"Survivor in your terror radius scream then reveal their location"
So if survivor not screaming, their location not reveal.

Or we could evaluate the perk on the basis of long term usage and outcome statistics rather than nerfing things because the anomalous outlier of the killer cast has access to it even if the perk is strong. Weak perks are busted on Nurse, strong perks are busted on Nurse, the absence of perks is busted on Nurse.
That's a Nurse issue, not an individual perk issue because for the majority of the cast this perk is either strong, but fair or somewhat useless because they're a killer who drops or isn't reliant on their TR. The only other massive outlier for this perk is Doctor, but even then it just gives him a better idea of where to drop static blast for maximum effectiveness and increased interaction interrupts.
Even with that we don't have anywhere near enough playtime with the perk to make any concrete decisions one way or the other yet. Just like folks worrying about whether or not Alien should get nerfs, like we aren't even a week in. Relax.
I don't think this perk only strong on Nurse. Its literally the strongest information perk for killer right now. Even when you in a locker, still screaming and reveal location.
The real "Nowhere To Hide"
only Calm Spirit can counter this perk.

Also, make maps smaller so console players like me on the nintendo switch can actually handle the game along with making my m1 killer experience better.
Smaller Map = Gen Spawn too close, 3 gen problem
-
@Crowman said:
It's a locker perk, so it's always going to be okay at best. Largely because some maps (like swamp) have terrible locker spawns so it can be very hard to keep checking a locker to use the perk.
Plus the perk is only really useful of mobility killers, so you can actually move quickly around the map to locate survivors.
30sec is more than enough for you to find a survivor with this perk, and locker location isn't even a problem.
-
Just destroy breakable door, case closed.
-
They change it. You just need to stay near a generator to activate the perk. (no need to touch the gen)
-
Without a DC penalty, players can do whatever they feel like.
"Damn, why i'm the first one getting hooked?" = DC
"I Don't like playing against this killer" = DC
"My teammate plays like sh*t." = DC
"My build not working against this killer" = DC
-
3-Gen situation keep happening thanks to map rework.
Community demand balance map, their opinion "balance map = smaller map size" then smaller map size mean generator spawn too close.
Old map like backwater swamp never happen except for Skull Merchant, this killer is special.
-
Everything look fine except this :
"This effect cannot be countered by aura hiding abilities."
-
If you also report in-game, yes. They can track your cloud ID when you report someone.

The game is already competitive. The game should be “fair” by default for those that play the game semi-competitive (which is the majority). Hence the change to core mechanics so everyone gets enough playing time per match with still a decent outcome for both sides depending on how well you’ve played.
People that want to goof around still can. Making the game fairer doesn’t hinder that.
majority not always right.
Take an example: when they "balance" a map, what is the next problem that pops out? Generator spawn too close. Remember, we need 7-gen spawn location. If we follow the majority opinion that "a balance map is a smaller map size," then this will be a circle of problems.
Since when we keep talking about balancing? since dev going crazy about how dbd can become e-sport game. what they do? introduced SBMM for matchmaking, do you having fun after being matched with "balance teammate or killer"?
-
Only One Solution : Stop Pushing This Game Into Tournament-Like Games... This is Not A Competitive Game.
Balanced Balanced, talking about balanced in a 1 vs 4 asymmetrical horror game, what a funny mindset
-
If you love voice chat that much, maybe you shouldn't play Solo Survivor.

Resilience does the fast vault but also increases gen repair speed while injured. It pairs well with MFT since they plan to spend most the match injured.
Yeah thats right

The survivors I get have similar perk choices too.
Most survivor like to be a "runner" : Exhaustion perk, perk that help them looping always their choice.

I didnt know about audio equalizer but i did use nvidia filter to increase brightness

Yes, randomize button but hide the perk until game starts, just like anniversary event

I mean, he is not wrong.
If all survivors just swarm gens and ignore drones. Game will end quite fast one way or another. That's how team Eternal managed to win. Stayed injured and focus all gens.
That strategy is even easier when survivors have MFT to use...
yeah, compared to matches that usually take around 10-15 minutes, 1-hour game is considered fast

One thing I still don't get is why people keep complaining about 1 hr games.
People act like there is no escape without DC... except there is... if you want out of a SM game, play super reckless and ignore her while you work on the 3 gen.
She'll have to down you to stop you, then you bleed out if she camps you and someone else repairs another gen. If not, then someone can possibly make a save, and you carry on doing the gen. Likely you'll die, but that inflates her kill rate, which us what you want to get her nerfed.
It's only a 1 hr game if you constantly play her game and don't commit.
I know you're being sarcastic
-
many killers say garden of joy is one of their favorite maps.
-
Easy, at least 1 hacker in your match
-
Balance Update for "Fair Play", Competitive Gameplay or Player, Community Tournament ruin fun in this game
-
Most of the time i'm having fun playing against the new Sadako, my opinion, the only problem Sadako has is his ultra-rare addon (Iris. Video Tape)
-
Breakdown
this perk so good
-
The first two years I played because I really liked the game, then I played because I became a DBD streamer.
I like playing solo survivor, but sometimes I also have fun playing with friends.
Most of the time, I play as survivor, so I'm survivor main.
-
you think dbd just born yesterday?
stop thinking this is a competitive game, ok? have some fun
-
Big No., played solo survivor from 2017, doesn't need in-game voice chat or text chat like DBD Mobile. HUD is enough.
-
Trapper, Trapper also Trapper
-
yes
they need to add that feature in-game
-
this is insane build...
i just request a killer main streamer to play with this build and he get 4 condemn kill, 3 gen remaining.
