Blight doesnt need any nerfs, just his addons. He takes a lot of skill to play and counter, he only wins if he is the better player. Which i think we can agree is how video games should work.
Also no lets not remove hug tech. He'd be useless at so many loops.
So it's okey to abusing bug for you?

Your idea of "fair" would drive away many Blight players, and cause them to play Wesker instead.
I actually would want more Wesker lol, i would love to this. But Wesker is popular enough tho.

Maybe they hate some survivors. So when they see them, they are tunnelling them out. Who knows... You should ask them.

You only know who didn't bring a cake at the end of the game, how can you see that at the beginning? Like you memorize the place in the lobby and you see the cake in the loading screen, like that you can know?

And the mocking/insulting part?
Yes, you can tell who used what offering. It's easy to tell. Survivor names and offerings ordered with same placement.

This is the biggest joke ever from the Devs. We all grinded so much hours for all of them and the Devs give a fk about us. This makes no sense for me, are they gonna give Legacy now too to everyone because when everything limited was given for free after years then hey Devs, destroy completely everything everyone worked hard for, you don’t even care about players who supported your game for years 😶
I never saw anyone uses these crowns lol, what's wrong with giving them to everyone?

But he’s really not? He has 2 addons that are OP. You could even make speed not stack. But the rest of him is completely fair.
The changes you’ve talked about would drive many people to wesker and nurse. Die hard mains such as myself would stick, but many wouldn’t.
You say to remove the hugtech, by far the most FUN part of his gameplay, while maintaining counterplay. I’ve seen you mention reducing his speed to 4.4. Again would destroy blight for new / average players, leading to more frequent weskers and nurse.
Not only 2 add-ons. His speed add-ons are also problem. And i don't think they can't make them not stackable. Maybe nerf them both, so people still can use them together but they won't feel busted anymore. So there should be cap for Blight's max speed, that's what i am asking for his speed add-ons.
And hug-tech. If this can't be fixed, he should lose ability to break pallets and walls at least. His base-kit is good enough, this bug should go. With all of his bugs ofcourse.
And i never said make his speed 4.4 tho? I think this will be pretty bad nerf. Good Blights won't be affected while mid & bad Blights suffering. His rush speed needs one cap, that's all. I don't have any number in my mind but it should be fair for killer and survivor. His base rush speed is fine but speed add-ons makes his speed problematic.

How long ago was that? I think it’s time to accept it.
And like I’ve told you before, Hug tech is the most counterable thing in his kit.
If they “fix” hug tech, they will ultimately have to fix his collision, and then you REALLY won’t like blight. Bump logic is far superior, when collision grants it.
It's okey to fix his all bugs. I don't wanna buggy things in game. If this makes him even stronger, then we will ask more nerfs.
-

It pretty much is his kit. His base kit does not need changing.
It's not his kit, devs said it's not intended.
-
@fulltonon said:
I'd be surprised if they managed to fix blight collision at all, to be honest.
Most maps doesn't even have consistent bump mechanics, I'm not believing they can fix hug tech in any way.
If hug tech can't be fixed, then it should be added to his kit. But then his base-kit should be nerfed a bit as well. Nothing big ofcourse. But he should feel fair.

Interesting that some of Singularity's add-ons got nerfed when there were almost no complaints about them, yet Made For This is blatantly an issue and has hundreds of complaints yet nothing has changed...
Looks like you have issue to understand this: They are not gonna nerf things just because people complaining. And they are not gonna keep things as how they are just because people don't talk about it.
They are looking their datas for make some changes. So Singularity add-ons monitored by them and they decided change some of them. And his add-ons changed. Some buffs, some nerfs and some rarity changes. Not only nerfs like you are making it.
-
It's not surprise. Perk is not problematic, it's just fine. If devs see any issue with it, they will just nerf it. They are more brave with nerfing things lately.
So if they did not nerf MfT, data just shows perk is fine. Just deal with it.

Remember when they revealed David as gay and said he was consistently one of the most popular characters? And then they just stopped giving him anything which caused his playerbase to drop off and go towards the characters that did get skins?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
If unpopular survivors like Haddie, Jonah can get new costumes, i don't know why David can't. David is maybe not super popular but he is not super rare either. He is around mid.
So there is no reason to not give some new costumes.

How is that a difference? Its still exclusives.
besides that, Sony owns naughty dog for example so it doesnt matter.
why is it fair for one side but not the other? You can complain about it, i understand that. But then also complain about the other side who is doing the same instead of defending them.
If we include first part games, Sony is doing same thing as well lol. Uncharted, God of War, Las of Us, Horizon, GoT, Spider-Man and more. They all are exc games.

Im honestly past it now. For a company that has LGBT employees and preach about how david has made an impact to the community, ppl that have came out because of him, to only neglect him with no cosmetics during pride and nothing in the forseeable future. Im actually over it so I understand business is business and money is a more priority over representation. Havent really played david much because of it which is sad. But oh well.
I am sorry for you are feeling like that. Hopefully he will get some new costumes soon. But BHVR is company after all, even they are supportive of LGBT+ community, money always comes first. That's how business works.

Its not even the rarity of giving david outfits that bothers me tho. Its just so disappointing that you have a character you put time and effort to be the only lgbt representative of your game. Then when pride month is close by, you just decide to not give or acknowledge that character at all. Its a slap in the face. Its almost like they just used the character for points at the time then threw him away.
If thats how they gonna treat newly lgbt release characters, id rather them not release anymore because its heartbreaking when they do that and instead give cosmetics to their moneymakers survivors every update.
David should get costumes but you need to understand this: BHVR is company. Ofcourse they will focus on characters who makes more money for them.
You people really expect them to stop make costumes for Kate, Feng, Mikaela, Yun Jin, Meg etc while they sell like crazy? Who brings more money gets more effort. That's natural part of business.

Uhhh no.
You can mess up nearly everything you can mess up and still finishing 4 gens in 5 minutes constantly as survivor, at least in my mmr.
If killer is so bad, yes. But if killer knows what they are doing, then no.
All depends on killer's skills. If they are good enough, they can win. Even kill rates favors killers.
-
I love this map lol, it's amazing map for Nemmy. Zombies are good on all indoor maps, so no.
All killers have some weak maps for their powers. Blight and Wesker are not exception.
-
@fulltonon said:
How can a survivor make several mistakes still win and complain? A killer has to play near perfect these days.
They don't actually. Survivor mistakes mostly ends with loses. Killer can make a lot mistakes but they can come back. Thanks to tunnelling, slugging and camping.

Pallet break is definitely not instant from the time you hit the button. If I had to guess it's about 60-75% faster, but not instant. The fact that it isn't instant is what makes it more powerful. Rather than break pallets that a survivor drops in my path, I use it when a survivor is looping around a pallet that's down then trigger it right before they go to slide across the dropped pallet. The second or so it takes to break blocks the survivor and it's a guaranteed hit. I get way more value out of that than the exposed.
I think you people don't understand how strong pallet break thing.
When survivor drops pallet, killer needs to break it if pallet is strong. And while they are breaking it, they stucked in animation which gives good time to survivor for reach another loop. But in event, they are not stucked in animation. They activating it, so survivor can't use this pallet anymore. And then zoning out survivor. And bum. Free hit.
@SpiritsHusk said:

exposed on bloodlust is easy to outplay. you just stand still and bloodlust does not build-up. Personally I like the event for survivor because it is actually challenge to escape. normally survivor is kinda boring because most of killer are kinda weak but the event pallet break makes every killer a lot stronger and fun to play vs. I imagine escape rate for survivor on this event is going to be like less than 30%-25% but for high-level. the game feels more balanced. killer is fun to play because basic m1 killer are a lot more playable.
Trust me game was already challange for solo survivors. At least for mid to high mmr players.

You don't even have any values, awfully quick to dismiss the idea. If 2 survivors left can do gens in something like 30 seconds each for example, then one person distracting the killer becomes considerably more meaningful. The numbers for all 4 tiers of speed would need to be worked on and carefully balanced, but the point is to assuage your exact fear: not being able to cover the efficiency gap from losing each person, and even discourages tunneling to boot.
Currently the speed of gens is balanced around roughly 3.25 survivors, which is why I would recommend making the 4 man speed slower than it is now, with dramatic increases at lower numbers to even out the snowballing factor. Thats what rubberbanding means.
But how you will fix slugging issue with this? Because this will make just slugging even stronger. Gens are slower. So if you don't kill any survivor, you are safe. You just need to use slug builds and then whenever you get everyone down, start to hook.
-
@Dwight_Fairfield said:
The instant pallet breaking, the exposure with bloodlust, the window blocking........its all nonsense and unfair.
I found windows blocking pretty useless but i want to hear why you think it's unfair. Maybe i used it wrong.
-
@Ryuhi said:
the reason there is a penalty for multiple people on a single gen is to impose diminishing returns: basically preventing it from progressing at 200/300/400% speed.
My idea is to have gen speeds rubber band to survivors left alive: Gens would start slower than they do currently, but get faster each time a survivor dies to make up for the efficiency cap. Incentivizes spreading hooks rather than tunneling, and gives a comeback factor if anyone gets tunneled out.
Terrible idea, i am sorry.
Survivors are strong when they have numbers. Even you make gens faster for each killed survivor, you can still pressure on them.
One survivor died. Gens are now faster. But another survivor is on hook. So one of other survivors have to go hook save. So only one survivor is doing gen. Gens will feel so slow because how fast gens can be progressed by one survivor?

Were you expecting an event power to be as useful as a regular pallet??
I mean killers got very useful event powers? Exposed and insta-pallet break. They both are pretty good. Especially killers are using insta-pallet break power so much. And if there is no loop to next after that, you will just get hit.

According to a news article from IGN, Xbox was reeeally considering buying BHVR at one point until they decided against it. What are your guys thoughts on this? Personally I think it would be a huge waste of money……ehhh no offense BHVR.
if they did manage to buy them would that mean certain characters, chapters, outfits, and charms would be Xbox/gamepass only exclusives? Hmm y’know, a State of Decay 2 or a Gears of War chapter doesnt sound that bad….let me know what you guys think.
When Xbox buy company, they allows existed games in all platforms with new content.
They bought Bethesda but ESO and F76 still gets new content on all platforms.
Same goes for Minecraft.
So even if they buy BHVR, DbD will stay on all platforms with new contents. But new titles from BHVR will be exc most likely.

I remember that! One of the few occasions where survivors actually showed how strong doing gens is. Weirdly enough, soon after the event, survivors went back to... well what we have now.
It's not weird tho.
Good players always comes back when it's event or excited chapter. After event, they leaves and your average solo teammates starts to throw games again.
-
And what do you expect from them? Street is big dead zone with 2 or 3 pallets. You used them, now you have nothing only houses.
-
I think it's fine. If killer wanted fast game and tunnel survivors, it's fine for last survivors to hide and play for hatch.
-
For me, as survivor it's chases and altruism. Even i die, if my game time was good enough i don't mind.
Iconic characters also helps me to play DbD. Nemmy and Jill are great characters and i am happy to have them. Ofcourse there is more, they are just my favs.
As killer, it's chases as well. But it really not helps when i have to worry about gens. I am not saying they should be imposible to finish. But when i forced to defend my gens instead of chasing survivors, game bores me so fast.
Edit:
I actually agree with @GoodBoyKaru here. It does not matter which role i play. If game is long enough and rewarding, i don't mind even i lose.
-
And survivors can do something op with Power Struggle builds. I already saw some people are doing it tho. You can put dream pallet and you can make killer lose a lot time on you.
Plus Hubris works only when you stun killer, yes? So pre-dropping will help when you know they have this build.
I don't know why both sides complaining that much. BHVR is trying make events more fun with new mechanics. And plus event is just for limited time. A lot bp, some chaotic new mechanics. I am enjoying so far.

I want a decent shot at winning aka I dont want to escape with 0 hooks or all die at 5 gens.
I dont like stomping or getting stomped.
Same. Even i lose with 8+ hooks, i am not feeling so bad. Because i know i did not play bad. Or when i save my teammate at end game and make it 2+ man escape while killer had 8+ hooks.
These matches are usually close and fun. Both sides had equal chance to win.
But when i destroy other side, game is really not fun. Like killing all survivors at 4 gens left or 4 man escaping while killer had 2 - 3 hooks. These matches just feel unfair and i am blaming mmr usually.

I play mostly survivor nowdays. I see the soloQ as it is and to me personally biggest issue is teammates that are too scared to help people on hooks, open doors run out with 0 hook on them. Self care in a corner for who knows how long. Drops every single pallet with windows leaving 0 to other survivors. Should i continue? I see this every day.
I know there are issues, but im still big believer that if survivors play well the matches are better.
Turbo tunneling at 5 gens its an issue but it doesnt happen in every match. I'm talking about the tunneling that happens when killers are running out of time in a match and they have to tunnel person out to put some pressure back into the game.
Face camping is a Bubba thing mostly and new killer tactic. I don't see 3000 hour killer doing this usually. Face camping is getting a fix.
What do you want soloQ survivors to get. Kindred? That would be too powerful. You can't also just give perks after perk as basekit to survivors.
It's not case for me. My teammates are usually good and altruistic. But then killers are playing with very boring ways. Like tunnelling, proxy camping etc. And sadly this makes games unfun.
And i am not even talking about Blights, sweat lords. And it's big surprise the most tunneller killer is also the strongest killer. Even Trappers are playing more fair than Nurses and Blights.
I just want they out from tunnelling and camping. And makes different strategies stronger. Like Pop. This perk was amazing before nerf. Killers left hook for kicking gens. But genius BHVR nerfed it for no reason.
-
So this is nerf for luck offerings and luck builds.
Do we really need to nerf survivors more? Are not survivors weak enough already
-
@Hannacia said:

Tunneling is also a cause to too fast gen speeds and overpowered survivor perks. Not all is black and white. Learn to see the game from both sides. Both sides have issues, but soloQ isnt as bad as people make it to be.
Biggest issue is other survivors and how well they play the game.
Oh yeah, killers are so innocent. We have terrible solo-q matches because of teammates. Sure! It's never about killers and their unhealthy strategies, just noob survivors!
Everything you said is just so wrong (for me) but it's okey, we just don't agree on this.
But i can tell this. I always seeing you are complaining about survivors but i never saw you mentioned about survivor issues. I will wait prove if i am wrong.
I am talking about killer issues as well. So don't come to me with " Both sides have issues, but soloQ isnt as bad as people make it to be. ". Because i know killers have some issues too and i am talking about them as well. But the second part you said just makes me believe you are not playing solo-q so much.
Because solo-q is just bad how people making it. It's the worst playable mod atm.
There is no op survivor perks btw. I don't know what perks you are talking about.
-
@Hannacia said:
I haven't seen proper slugging in months. Sure i've seen killer slug the last person for 4k once in a blue moon and sometimes slug a person if they see someone near the downed person, but i havent seen 4 survivors on the ground at the same time and killer never hooking them.. well maybe 2 times in 2 years.
Tunneling happens quite often, but its also result of many things. People also take this game tiny bit too serious. I say move to the next GG if you get tunneled. Not a big deal take few minutes to queue up to another. Newer killers might use this tactic a lot. I've noticed looking at the hours that killers with less than 300 hours tend to tunnel quite heavily.
Camping. Sure happens sometimes. Quite often when i get bubba against me first thing i do is check where the basement is so i stay away from it. Literal facecamping doesn't happen that often in my games though. Proxy camping is more common. End game camping to secure 1 kill not sure why people get upset about it. Some survivors think killers should just admit they lost and let everyone go. In my opinion face camping ( if its not bubba) is quite commonly used by newer killers.) Experienced killers know its a horrible tactic to win a game.
Biggest issue in this game is unbalanced maps (some perks) and OTHER SURVIVORS!
When it's survivor issue, don't take this game so serious and go to next.
When it's killer issue: Please nerf this survivor perk, please buff killers, gens are so fast, survivors are so op...
What about no? Tunnelling is issue and needs to be addressed.
-
I think this is the fact for all p100 characters. I don't know if this intended like this or just a bug/issue.
But focusing non-P100'ed characters is the way get more event stuffs.
