    1) Saying "almost" 99% isn't any less ludicrous than saying 99% or 100%, so you may as well have just committed to it. It has little to nothing to do with ego and more to do with the fact that killing Survivors is literally the Killer's entire objective - they're completing their objective as was given. It's "Kill the Survivors," not "Kill some of them, maybe, idk bro, you should probably just stop 75% of the way there." People seriously need to get off their damn high-horses and stop trying to spin one half of the player-base as defective - be that egomaniacs, socially maladjusted or, as I have seen people say before, actually evil. You're not painting them in a bad light, you're painting yourself in one.

    2) Slugging for the 4K makes it easier to achieve the objective. Seems like a good reason to me. And you know full well the hatch can spawn right next to the last Survivor. It has nothing to do with anyone's ability to find them, or crippling self-doubt in said ability - it's RNG.

    3) Businesses tend not to thrive too well if they massively piss off either side in their asymmetric multiplayer game. Both sides are needed to function. Resorting to utilitarian sociopathy - making the few incredibly miserable for the sake of the many - will not make the game more successful.

It has everything to do with ego. If it wasn't ego driven a player wouldn't care if they got 3 kills, plus 2 hooks and the last survivor who managed to get the hatch and get lucky. It is purely an ego issue of "i must getz the 4 k." I play every bit as much on the killer side as I do on the survivor side. I don't have to get the 4k to feel like I've succeeded. One of my favorite things is the scratched mirror Myers. I've gotten every survivor two hooked and then just stopped and let them all leave. Doesn't impact my day, the fun was in the hunt and the jumpscares. When the game stopped being about having fun and the killers turned it into I must have 4 k or I failed, that's an issue.

As to your last point. You completely butchered the use of words there. Utilitarians want people to be happy. Sociopaths don't care whether other people are happy.

Utilitarianism will focus on the idea that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, but that doesn't mean they ignore the sacrifice of the few. As for if the game would survive making the 4 happy at the cost of the 1, well they are doing just fine making the 1 happy at the cost of the four. This forum proves that as everyday you see people upset about slugging, camping and tunneling. It's taken 7 years and they are just now starting to work on the anti-camp. It won't hurt the game one bit if they force the killers into hooking survivors, you know the actual point of the game as you said, the way to sacrifice them to the entity (which is the point of the game, not killing them but sacrifcing them to the enity.) Letting them bleed out is actual not the point of the game, hence why you need to use a special item to actual "kill" a survivor yourself.

    I also play on PS5.

Playing on a strategic position three gen may not be fun for some survivors but anyway I look for own my fun and win the games bruh.

I'm going to be honest SWF shouldn't exist in the game but this not commercially healthy for the game for this reason the killer deserves to know who players are on SWF together to devise strategies.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3526600#Comment_3526600

Nerf SWF is correct regardless my opinion.

As for ur answer not is a troll comment I understand that u don't like my way playing style but all play styles are respectable even playing hide from the killer.

Just like survivors should be able to see a player using bore merchant and avoid a player who plans to do nothing but camp 3 gens and wait.

The most boring thing ever to happen to DBD is skull merchant. They could remove her tomorrow and the health of the game would double.

"Hook him or punish the killer somehow else so i can get the hatch quicker"

How about helping the other survivor?

Another point. If we add a thing to stop killers from delaying the disatvantageous situation of the hatch opening.... Can we stop survivors from delaying the egc by 99ing gates? Im sure you'd be fine with it being implemented fair and properly for both sides.

I would say almost 99% of the killers that are slugging cause they need that 4 k for their ego are just camping around the survivor they downed. They look around behind nearby things for scratch marks or the approaching survivor but they don't stray far, so basically your solution is just give the killer what they are wanting.

There is no reason to leave a survivor laying on the ground. (Edit for one reason, they crawl with boil over to a far corner to avoid the hook, that's on them but if they are near a hook there is no reason to leave them). "But I want a 4 k." Okay, well earn it, hunt the last survivor down. That doesn't mean leaving someone else stuck on the floor for 4 minutes because you don't trust your ability to down the last survivor before they find the hatch.

They need to give unbreakable in this situation or they need to allow the hatch to open after say 1:30 of the survivor bleeding out.

I don't like the idea of a "give-up" option for survivors, as this just encourages slugging. Slugging should result in a higher odds of the killer losing. This is still a game, and you have to take into account that 5 people in that lobby are customers. So you want to make it miserable for 4 (slugged) to make happy 1 (the killer who has to slug to get 4 k). Businesses don't survive upsetting a majority of their client base.

  • Run Starstruck when you see 4 toolboxes. People tend to body block less when they are exposed and you one shot them down.

  • To get good at killer, play survivor.

As you play more survivor and see what other killers do you'll start to see where you can make adjustments. Play in custom games against bots (less tea-bagging) and as stated earlier, pick a killer you like and go to Youtube and watch videos on that killer. It does eventually get better.

  • Absolutely not.

More uneven matches would lead to even less people in the cue and therefore a greater delay and problem.

  • @Steakdabait said:

I literally don't care how they do it, i just don't want to be stuck in a match for up to 4 minutes due to a killers ego. Whether that's free unbreak or a suicide button it simply doesn't matter to me

If survivors can opt out when bleeding out that is just going to encourage more slugs as killers will see an easier way to get a 4 k.

People already "opt out" on hook and people are up in arms about it. It will just be a new way for people to leave a match they don't like.

The best solution is simply if the survivor isn't hooked after 1 minute or a minute and a half, they are able to get up. That's enough time for those ego-maniacs that just have to get a 4 k to look and more than enough time for someone to be stuck laying on the ground.

Of course, at that point the survivor would have to actually use the option to get up or they could just lay there and let the hatch open. Which would also be a great solution to this, have the hatch open in the situation of 1:30 of 1 survivor up and one has been left down. Would really encourage killers to get people on a hook versus lettting 2 out.

  • @Deathstroke said:

Make perk which instandowns bodyblocking survivor. Perk activates if you share hooks so killers who don't tunnel don't get punished by bodyblocking and then lose because they don't have enough time when they used it to play friendly.

Had 2 hooked meg came bodyblocking hit which would killed feng 2 hooked and injured. But last gen was 50% done so chasing healthy meg would lose me the game also I assumed she had lithe/adrealine (she did). I needed to sweat my ass of to still win that game and camp the gens. I was very close losing. Going hooks is so stressful if you try to win I had 7 before first kill.

    Camp the gens you say?

    So you played Skull Merchant?

  • I think someone once did the math on what it takes to hit the infinite tier 3 with Myers. Essentially you have to drain evil from 3.5 survivors. So you have to sit there and let him stalk you long enough to get to the point where you glow red and have no more evil to give. And then 2 other people have to do this.

It really isn't that hard to avoid, it just means you can't sit endlessly on gens w/o looking around. Have to be smart, have to break LoS, it takes a little more thinking. Unfortunely in random cues, he usually hits it early as people just sit on a gen and let him power up.

    Proposed change:

    • If all remaining survivors are standing in the exit gate and dont leave within 10-15 seconds. The killer calls upon the entity to block the exit gate for the rest of the endgame collapse.

    TBAG THIS XD

Need a combo, Blood Warden, NOED activates. They can't leave and 1 shot down.

Anyone complaining and getting juiced by MFT should uninstall and go play something more geared towards their level. Maybe Marvel Avengers, I hear that is pretty chill and casual.

How is getting hit, then just holding "w" on another level?

For some killers MFT doesn't matter, for others it is an issue and can break a match. Especially when you have all 4 survivors running it and matching it with Hope, and Windows of Opportunities.

It just needs to expire at some point. Keep the haste, keep the resilience but at some point it needs to drop off.

You report them in game and open a ticket. Bhvr will find the match based on the report cross referenced with your ID. They don't need the profile of the cheater to find them now.

I was curious about why this was being brought up and I'm glad you pointed this part out.

When you file an actual complaint, they ask if you reported in game and ask for your ID. Not sure why the hidden profile matters?

  • As a zookeeper, I can appreciate and support that. And to be fair, Cujo wasn't a bad dog or a villain. Just got rabies :(

What modern horror would you like to see added?

    The Nun, Annabelle?

    Jeepers Creepers would be cool.

Terrifer is cool but much like IT, there is already a clown in game.

I'd be all for Tucker and Dale vs Evil as survivors!

  • Indeed, and what new horror movie is really that amazing?

I'd rather see any of the following:

    Candyman

Cujo (killer dog would be interesting)

The Thing - with an ability to mimic survivors or possess them and R.J. MacReady as the survivor

    Fright Night

Phantasm - hunting people with Angus Scrimm and that orb!

Trick 'r Treat - Sam's creepy little self

Child's Play - Cause Chucky is iconic

Pumpkinhead - For the look and the vines.

    The Fly - Goldblum

Puppet Master - So many cool things that could be done with the puppets.

The Howling or An American Werewolf in Paris - Having a full moon effect and werewolf would be fun.

    And my personal favorite

John Carpenter's Vampires - Sure Vampires.. neat... but it's more about the survivor, JAMES WOODS baby!!!

Also could go with Lost Boys and have David and Michael.

Every time I try to make my own fun with random killers/builds I get hit with match after match of survivors running the usual meta. Playing just for fun is practically impossible these days so people just play their mains with their favourite builds to stand a chance.

I just run the Jumpscare Myers build. Some matches you get gen rushed out the door but other times it keeps them guessing long enough you get a 3 or 4 k.

One thing I will say, 90% of my matches end with no BMs and the survivors appreciating the jumpscares. To me, it's fun. Seeing through the walls and them running right into me as I know where they are headed and watching them do the oh hell moves is amusing.

  • Not excited and this is the first DLC I won't buy.

I've said it before on this forum, we just had a Sci-Fi update with Singularity and End Transmission. There is no chance Alien just got a call and said, sure here is the rights and it was all taken care of quickly. They had to be working on this for a bit, so why but out End Transmission if this was on tap next.

Just doesn't move the needle for me at all. So many other quality choices available. Alien is a huge miss.

I mean, they could make the RNG range smaller so instead of 10-25 it's like 10-15 or something.

Just one killer needs a perk called "Smash".

As you walk past a pallet that is up you smash it, thus destroying it. Would need a CD and such for balance, but I've always thought it was weird that I walk past pallets early on and see them and can't break them, knowing they will be used against me later.

Jumpscare Myers says MFT is nothing, I have wall vision and patience.

Sounds like you just need to practice some more. Practice makes perfect.

Practice does not make perfect, it only makes permanent whatever we do repeatedly.

Therefore, only perfect practice makes perfect.

And in this game, you are never going to practice perfect....

  • As others have said, keep playing the killer you like. The best way to improve is practice. There is a lot of good videos out there on youtube about playing killer. I'd avoid Otz and his jaded opinions. I prefer people like D3AD Plays, SpookyLoopz, and SirBM. They have great videos and I don't ever hear them being super negative about the game.

  • If only you could know that you were being sent to the map with all the terrible pallets before picking your perks.....

Take pallet perks and end up outside and you've wasted your build.

bHVR said they are adding a feature if a killer camps for too long you will be able to self unhook. They haven't told us when this will happen.

I hate camping as much as anyone, but this is going to get abused. Survivors will just linger around a hook now playing hide and seek in range so they get their team a free unhook. I hope they take into consideration that if another survivor is around the hook, it isn't really camping, especially if you are actively looking for them/chasing them.

So many survivors fail at a flashlight save and run along to the hook and then dip just out of sight. Why would the killer leave when they know there is another person they could hear running lingering around?

  • Geez, if you think it is a bad time for survivor currently, I don't know what to tell you.

Solo cue is still tough at times with the randos that make really weird choices but honestly, even an average survivor with the right perk set up can make life miserable for a killer right now.

The other thing is this, find your own fun in the game. You went down to a hit. Why? Did you keep the chase up long enough for a gen or two to get done? Then you traded well. If you didn't, learn from it. Figure out where you made a mistake in the loop or mind game so you don't make that mistake again.

If slugging really bothers you, run unbreakable or level up boon exponential. Then slugging is more of a pain for the killer.

  • I like Dredge and Pinhead (Cenobite if you aren't familiar with the movies). I also like Nurse but it takes time to learn her and it is hard to get a good match as people will opt out at first hook against her.

Dredge is fun jumping from locker to locker and just the jump scare in the dark on survivors is fun.

Pinhead is cool because he is a little unique. His built in map pressure with the box and the chains is cool and it is super fun shooting your chain at a survivor that lingers at a pallet to t-bag lol.

I agree with most but i want to change or add something.

Clown's problem won't be fixed with that. His bottles are enough already, even default is fine. His problem is map pressure/mobility.

Pig yes, she would feel much better.

Trapper need to start with his all traps or at least let him reload from lockers.

    Doctor i agree.

    Wraith i agree.

Myers i def agree. And his mori add-ons need to be reworked. They are very unhealthy.

Demo add-ons are not that bad but his weak add-ons should be buffed. But instead of this, BHVR is nerfing his best add-on for no reason.

Billy and PH agree. I'd add Nemmy too here.

Freddy need another rework but i doubt devs will do this. At least add dream pallets to his base-kit. So he can use both of his powers. And ofcourse add-ons pass as well.

I think pop goes the weasel could be reworked in a fun way for clown.

He damages the gen and it is locked till the survivors do several skill checks like turning the crank on a jack in the box. Fail a skill check, get hit and take damage.

  • @Seraphor said:

I don't see why she shouldn't be, but I have no interest in her being added.

We have Sadako and Rin already. She might be iconic in Japan, but she's still very similar.

It's kinda like Michael and Jason. Yes Jason is iconic, but at this point, would he really be adding anything to the game?

Sure, you can set him up with water pools that make him pause in fear instead of pallets.

Hide in tents, not lockers. Have sex and he appears instantly. Stay a virgin and you get out alive.

    Plenty of options.

Sarcasm aside, I'd love to see Jason added just because he is an icon. You have Freddy, you have Myers, you need to complete the slasher trio.

  • To some degree I think it's people who are leaving because they feel like the game is unbalanced and has issues and to be fair, they are right.

The posts aren't for you or me or anyone in this community. If I had to guess, these posts are directed at the devs and community managers and so forth. Just venting frustrations in a situation where they feel unheard. And while they are annoying to those of us here to discuss DBD, I promise you that the devs take notice of these posts especially if the numbers increase. And before you say "they don't care about those posts...." They should, any successful business needs to pay attention to it's client base. For every post on here saying they are leaving, there is several people who left without a post. That is a trend that the devs will be interested in.

Remember Everquest? It was the game at one point. The end all be all of MMORPG. Then along came World of Warcraft. People posted they were leaving, other people said why post. The devs waited and well... no one talks about Everquest anymore. It still exist, but it's a shell of what it was. DBD was a unique horror game and now there is competition. This is actually a good thing.

  • @Xendritch said:

I literally had a game as SM today where I won at 5 gens, the way people exaggerate the idea that SM has to 3 gen to be effective is crazy.

Well to be fair, it is easy to win at 5 gens as SM currently since the moment survivors see a drone half the team just quits.

Every match I've been in as survivor, the moment people find a drone, they sit in the space, wait, get hooked and opt out. Now it is 5 gens and 2 vs 1.

No one wants to play against her, it is boring.

  • Be interesting if they created a situation where if you cued up with friends you went to one lobby where killers can run Iri add-ons and so forth.

Solo cue people, killers have to run lesser add-ons perhaps even limit a few top perks to keep the balance.

    Might be interesting.

The looping around the hooked survivor is just a panic move of someone that just doesn't know what to do now. They were going to unhook, got hit by the killer usually keep running at the hook and then don't want to trade.

Almost like a perk choice could only be comparable to a perk choice. The equivalent of a Killer complaining about Windows is a Survivor complaining of Pain Res, or Adrenaline and No Way Out, or Distortion and Corrupt Intervention (not necessarily those specific combos, but the idea).

The vast majority of pallets are filler pallets, which means they are either mindgameable or bloodlustable. It doesn't matter if a Survivor can see a different pallet if they can't reach it in time. So that actually is on point with your message. A Killer that doesn't have the brains to mindgame (or in the worst case [like on Borgo] bloodlust) a pallet will camp or immediately tunnel off hook. I fully concur with that assessment of weak Killers resorting to low skill high reward strategies. I do find it funny that in an oppositional game you would claim X role isn't someones personal punching bag, when encouraging the same thing for the opposite side.

The problem with Survivors only bringing '5 to 7 perks' is because no other perks are worth running. They either address base gameplay flaws (Camping Reassurance, Tunneling DS, Excessive Slugging Unbreakable, Soloq lack of comms Windows), or are exhaustion gated, meaning you pick which mutually exclusive one to run. If say, Rookie Spirit was a perk worth running, maybe Survs wouldn't only bring the same perks. The complaint "I don't like seeing the same perks on Survivor" is actually complaining that "95% of Survivor perks shouldn't be unplayably bad".

The main thing with Windows, is it only tells you what exists, it doesn't create anything new. It is a good soloq perk because it bridges the gap of comms like "I dropped shack pallet" or "the middle filler pallet is donezo" That means the actual complaint is about map balance. For the most part complaining about map balance is fair, but I don't see people learning the counters to bad maps. Nearly every Borgo/Garden filler pallet is bloodlustable, which means Killers only need to kick the non-Bloodlustable ones before a hit, or else they are throwing. The sad thing is we are now getting pathetic pallets like on the reworked Farm maps, with the tiny tent and 2 small crates. We should be getting a variety of pallet strengths and window strengths, but instead we get near exclusively garbage pallets and god windows.

Only if Bloodlust kicks in. Windows and Made For This combo is causing a lot of M1 killers to lose bloodlust. It's been talked about on here for sometime.

Also, nowhere did I say that either side needs to be a punching bag. I simply said that killers are they to eat flashlights and pallets and be abused, no more than survivors are meant to be abused.

That said, when you get people running the same perks and spamming flashlights and dropping t-bags, then coming to the forum to cry about killers or saying "get gud" "run mind games" it's a little tough to take serious. No one wants to waste half the match trying to mind game a survivor running Made For This, and Resilence and Windows of Opportunities. It's just a waste of time.

  • I think for me it is a pretty close split to 50/50

Mood, cue time, and how matches are going play a role in what side I go to.

This was why I put "Is change really necessary?".

I do agree with Otz that it can create unfun or awkward situations, HOWEVER, I think DBD is already full of that to begin with. Gaming in general is full of that.

    • Sometimes things dont work out. Sometimes things are unfun. There are times you want to leave and stop playing. There are times where you really really hate the game.
    • Sometimes things do work out. Sometimes things are fun. There are times you want to keep playing. There are times where you really love the game.

There are two sides to every coin.

I do not think change is necessary. It is an issue, but it's an issue that works both ways, and it is something I think most players have gotten use to by now.

I hope he stays in DBD and never plays the new TCM.

I'm really sick of hearing how a rando from the internet is the authority on this game. Dude complains about everything, it's annoying.

  • @BlueRose said:

I had something like this happen to me but around main building on myers' map. The survivor was running MfT and kept vaulting the window in front of the building and heading upstairs to the right side (the side where a gen can spawn) and vaulting that window. I chase them around that house so many times and the problem was that since they had a good distance from me and a lot of line of slight blockers I kept losing chase when they around the corner of the house. This meant no matter what I did the windows would never be blocked or I would get bloodlust. It was a nightmare :-/

And to survivor mains, this is "skill" where as to most people killer mains and those who play both sides, it is boring and a problem for the game and midless pressing of "w" and every so often a vault.

  • What's amazing to me is that survivors continue to cry foul when a killer tunnels or camps, meanwhile they don't see any issue with 4 people running windows of opportunity and then sprint or made for this.

Running from safe loop to safe loop and slamming pallets that are lit up yellow isn't a skill. It's press "w" and run to the next safety safe. Of course killers are going to tunnel and camp, they aren't your personal punching bags that you get to loop all match.

Can't run the same 5 to 7 perks and not expect the counter to come up. Camping, 3 gen, and tunneling is the new norm until something is done to counter the windows, made for this, hope combo.

  • Resilience does the fast vault but also increases gen repair speed while injured. It pairs well with MFT since they plan to spend most the match injured.

  • Run random perks. Instead of running the "meta" and being fast at gens or fast at escape, do something random and make it amusing for yourself.

Don't worry, if you are solo q, the other 3 will load up on gen perks so you won't be hurting the team lol.

  • My advice for a lot of these challenges is just play the character normally. It might take you a few matches but when you focus on trying to do the task and get away from playing the game you will make mistakes and end up frustrated.

  • We are back.

    • and back down :(
  • And we are back, Steam issue seems to be resolved.

False positive... we are back down :(

  • When the killer side gets the bonus, that is who I use most often now. Used to play Nurse, but still get people who DC as soon as they hear me blink or opt out on first hook. It's not fun, so now it is Dredge and Pinhead.

  • Survivors just sitting on gens with endurance unafraid of the killer approaching.

  • I could see a lot of abuse if people could switch killers after the lobby forms.

Imagine you have a killer you never play, just sits there with almost no matches. So you get into a match with other players that are rolling less than 50 matches. Then you switch over to your top killer that you have thousands of hours on and just roll up the new players.

I don't have a problem with how killers play the game. I have a problem with how the game is designed. You shouldn't be able to regress a gen 5 times, there should be a cap on how much each gen can be regressed. Being able to protect a 3 gen is way too easy and takes zero skill to pull off. I have played games recently where I watched killers scout the tightest 3 gen and literally never leave it.

If we are going to have MMR and my teammates are still playing like they started yesterday, what's the point of MMR. Because the killer is almost never bad in my games, but my teammates regularly are. I would trade rank based match making for what we have right now in a heart beat.

The only killer that can set up a 3 gen really well at the start is Skull Merchant.

Outside of that, the survivors can actually avoid a 3 gen.

Let me ask you, when you start the match do you jump on the first gen you find or do you spend time and move towards the middle of the map or the opposite side and work on different gens? I've noticed a lot in solo q that survivors just jump on the first gen, and just start to work across the map, setting themselves into a very easy to defend 3 gen no matter the killer.

Sometimes you have to look at what/where your teammates are and make sure you aren't getting yourself into the issue. Can't blame the killer for guarding the last 3 gens you decided not to do and left all within walking distance. I mean, why would he/she go to the other side of the map when there is no reason for any of you to be there?

Well surely killers do have fun getting all gens done before 4 mins and survivors rubbing it on you as much as possible..

Both sides are on a terrible state.. tunneling at 5 gens because 1 terrible chase puts you at 2 gens vs efficient survivors.

    It's a never ending cycle..

The issue is neither side is willing to do what needs to be done to have changes impact the game.

If killers mains want to see MFT knocked down and gen rush builds impacted, the correct way to do it would be to not tunnel. Play it normal, watch the kill rates drop, report BM in end game and watch the Devs step in and do something. If you continue to pad the numbers with tunnel and camp tactics, then the kill rate looks right and nothing changes.

Survivor side wants changes, don't run gen rush builds, watch the killrates skyrocket and the Devs will step in and do something about it.

I blame killer side a little more, because in solo q the teams are not organized at all. I run on both sides, and you can tell in the first few minutes of a match if it is solo or SWF. And as soon as it is solo q, it's like the killer wants to take out the frustration of the terrible SWF match and still goes tunnel, camp, slug last, 4 k and then type "ez".

  • It's certainly subtle but it's certainly becoming more and more of an issue lately. Just will find that one survivor that is always just fast enough or even faster than the killer. Or my other favorite, flashlight blinds when you are against a wall or from across the map lol.

As others have said, my favorite is when they are healthy and doing this and then you hit end game, no sprint, no lithe, no MFT. Just a magic speed boost.

I don't understand it at all. If you have to cheat to be good, why play? You don't win anything, no $$$ in the real world and while sure you get to be like "I won I won, get gud, ez" deep down, they have to realize they only won because they cheat. I just don't understand the mindset.

Before you could DC to give the other person a chance at hatch if you were the one slugged... now with bots you can't even do that. There should be some sort of punishment for leaving someone down for so long besides they bleed out which is less points than a sacrifice. I am not one to just hide while the other person bleeds out either. Slugging is never fun for the person on the ground. I'm unsure about a possible solution, though. There should be a middle ground that doesn't completely screw over the killers either.

You don't want middle ground on this, it needs to be something that encourages killers to get people on the hook. Anything that can be exploited like after x amount of time down a survivor can opt to bleed out, will lead to more killers going for the slug to get the 4k with people just giving up on the ground.

    It'll be a nightmare.

It needs to be something that basically says, hook them or they get up and you might lose both.

Yeah but giving hatch is bit extreme. Basekit unbreakable for the situation would be less extreme.

I completely agree and even said as much in another thread. There just needs to be something added to discourage slugging completely. I get downing someone and taking the hit on a survivor that is near to get them away to avoid a flashlight save, but downing one, ignoring them for another chase all together, that's just crappy play. Anytime I've watched what I would call good players run killer, they down and they hook. No messing around. Down, maybe one hit, then hook. It's like clockwork. Bad players want the crutch of the slug.

Good idea too but I think killers would not accept 2 survivors getting free escape when they're greedy for 4K. So I don't think devs can add that without many people getting upset.

Adding the hatch timer upsets less people than the other way of not having something to avoid the end game slug.

Add something like a hatch timer and killer is upset.

Leave it as is, and the survivor down and the survivor up are upset about the waiting game.

Upsetting 1 is better than upsetting 2.

  • Need to add a hatch timer.

If there is two survivors left and one is down, the hatch timer starts. After 45 seconds the hatch opens.

Killer now has to either hook and hunt or run the risk of two people getting out.
