No, i haven't seen a bug report on it.

After hooking a survivor for the 3rd time and sacrificing them they are able to reveal you out of Night Shroud during the animation.
Platform- I'm on Ps5 but pretty sure it's all platforms
Occurrence frequency- Any survivor being sacrificed can do it.

Ah ok so it's been acknowledged already then?

Love it!

In awe at the size of this lad.
Absolute unit.

McLean was pretty decent. He's obviously gone now though.
-
Tbf you shouldn't have DMed them. He made a false assumption yeah, but I wouldn't have even bothered and just moved on. If they DM first then I'd set them straight.
Like the other day I had this survivor DM me accusing me of tunneling after they farmed their teammate off hook and I went after them (the farmer). Like...???
-
I know most of them pretty darn well except for like Lerys.
Even still I hate most of them...including Lerys.

I do not nod, beat people on hook, or bleed survivors out because I believe the game is survivor sided. It is, but I would have done that regardless.
Wow.
Based.

Yeah it's pretty dumb that we have football field sized maps for a hockey game like Dbd.
-
They say it's not shown to prevent the killer from tunneling, but what they really mean is they want to prevent the killer from seeing who's been hooked twice even if they aren't even tunneling. Why? Because they don't want you to realize you can kill them right away in endgame because you had hooked them twice earlier during the match already. If the killer really wants to tunnel then they are going to remember who they are tunneling. The killer is NOT tunneling just because the game reminds them that they had hooked someone else twice earlier during the match.
There really is no reason to hide it. I even sometimes have the same problem as you and accidentally kill someone too early because I'm just on autopilot for the match.

Bravo! Congratulations and felicitations!

What now though?
Celebration stream?👀

I mean it's not impossible for it to happen, but I don't ever see it happening personally. Up to Microsoft and Sony and if they haven't okayd it by now then it's pretty much a no at this point.
-
It used to be around at least once every session for me before crossplay. Or maybe every other session. It wasn't that rare I'll just say that.
Now I have a lot of other console and pc players in my lobbies rather than fellow ps4/5 players so it's pretty rare.
Edit: Most of the time when I do get messages, I get wholesome GG messages rather than salt.

In my experience as a killer player: Cheryls like to meme around, but they don't show it until you initiate. They're like the introvert that instantly turns extrovert the second something that interests them is mentioned. On the outside they seem like your average Dbd player, but the second I decide to stop playing serious and ######### around, the Cheryls are all over it. In fact I just recently had a match where I had a pretty intense tbag contest with a couple Cheryls as ghosty.

Played a couple of matches of Ghostface yesterday and he feels exactly the same to play too.
I don't really mind that though.

Same tbh. Thought it sounded annoying but after a couple games it's grown on me.

They changed the input. If you hold m1 mid blink you will lunge first frame available. It's a relatively recent and intentional change.
This has always been a thing.
What they actually did was fix a bug where you weren't allowed to immediately lunge out of a blink.

If I play regularly I see the same survivors and killers often. I even remember some of their names.
There is a streamer I go against too many times if I play surv after midnight. I just roll my eyes when I see their name after the match and call it a day after a while.
Sometimes I also get people that I played against years ago and recognize their names. It's weird though cause I can't even remember how to spell my mom's last name.
-
Sometimes I get the same people twice in a row but that's about it.
-
I count wiggle grunts instead of seconds, and it usally takes about 10 wiggle grunts.
-
My other main game is Overwatch. I have more hours on there than Dbd actually. Not too excited about the upcoming Ow2 though as I am a tank main and it will be 5v5 with only one tank per team. Hopefully they get the balancing right to make up for solo tanking. All I can say.
I also am a pretty huge resident evil fan. I've played nearly all the games and replay my favorites from time to time. Right now I'm replaying the hd REmake. Been a while since I've played 0 so I plan on doing that one again next.
Sometimes I like to play other smaller stuff. Things like 7 days to die, subnautica, Muse Dash, old pokemon games on my phone with emulators, etc. Used to be into clash royale, but the recent balancing choices pushed me away after playing the game for 4+ years. Basically they killed balloon and I'm a balloon player so ya ######### that. Anyways that's about it I guess as of right now.

I'm starting to think macmillan isn't as beloved as I thought seeing the amount of hate for it ngl. I thought it was well liked, maybe suffo pit being the exception.
As long as the possibility of getting Rpd, lerys, midwich, game, any corn map, swamp, either red forest map, family residence, eyrie of crows, or any of the badham maps exists, I will always rejoice when getting Macmillans. Any of them.

Yes, but at least they aren't as ugly. I prefer to be on pretty maps if every map (besides the one they removed) is survivor sided to begin with. Why would I want the bland default one?
To each their own I suppose.
Also I'd argue swamp is 10x uglier.
-
Idk what everyone is smoking. All the other maps are even WORSE than what's being said about Macmillan here.
I'd take it thank you very much until I got the urge to play spooky myers that is.

Simply don't take my hard earned stuff.

Just because you can ignore a community does not help if you want to be a part of it. It probably hurts a lot of people that they want to engage with others, but then get called a ton of slurs because they had the audacity to hook the same Survivor twice and break a "rule".
Well yeah that's a different issue. It's not like I was defending that type of behavior.
In cases like posts similar to these, the op often makes it clear that they're going to change playstyles because they weren't getting the praise they feel like they deserve for playing "nice." That's fine, but then they try to use it as ammo by ranting about how they're going to be more mean to punish all survivor players as if it was never an option in the first place and as if the survivors were literally forcing them to play that way. My point is if you have the ability to play how you want and know that you can then just do it. No need to let others make you think you can't. The op here themselves already stated that they would and it had nothing to do with being nice.

That does not mean it does not happen. Saying you can ignore the community does not mean this is not how the community is ingrained.
Even so there's plenty of measures you can take to help you ignore the community if their opinions influence you so much. Disabling endgame chat is one. It really shouldn't be that much of an issue though. If you let it get to a point where you aren't even playing the way you want because others' opinions influence you so much then why play?

I don't think this is a fair example at all.
In the "nice guy" example you painted that dude has not been conditioned for years to only play a certain way, lest he be supremely bullied by the other side for not playing by their rules.
If you let people on the internet dictate how you play a video game then that still sounds like a you problem.
Not saying you specifically, but just in general.

It has nothing to do with being nice. It is just the way that I'm used to playing and what has worked for me. But obviously it isn't working anymore so I changed it up. I don't believe that anyone owes me for playing the way I play, but I'm also sick of having game after game of getting every build snuffed out while people sit there smug at the end game
If that really is true, then just continue doing what works for you and what you feel like. To me it seemed like another "No more Mr. Nice Killer post."
-
I think the issue is your "nice guy" attitude. You seem to think that the survivors owe you for you playing "nice" when in reality they don't. It's your choice to play that way. If you want play toxic then just do it. These posts always give me the impression of that one guy who buys the girl all these gifts and then gets mad when she doesn't want to lay him. If you want to be "nice" you do it out of the kindness in your heart and not because you expect something. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment.
Sure the survivors should at least have the decency to say "Wow this guy didn't tunnel anyone out of the game and still got 9 hooks, maybe I shouldn't act like an ass an tbag at the gate." Yeah they're #########, but it's not like they forced you to play that way.
Just do you bruh.

300 hours isn't a whole lot.
Not too late to turn back.

Nope me too. Before it was only occaisonal, but now it seems like there's at least one almost every session.

I can check your hours for you if you want. Just leave me your names.

I have pretty much 1.5k hours on record and an unknown amount of hours not on record. Probably around 2k total I'd guess. I play about a 90/10 split favoring killer same as you.

the Kick area should be wider too. kicking it feels kinda finnicky at times
You have to look at it to kick it which is dumb because this is not true for literally any other interaction.

Yeah the blink hit boxes aren't exactly the most consistent. Sometimes you'll just get ######### over and you gotta accept that. Luckily in most cases you won't need to just barely clear the thing you're trying to blink through so you can charge a little extra by default to make sure you get through.
Other things you can do to minimize getting stuck on something and having your blinks eaten are:
1. Flicking your camera up before letting the blink go. It allows you to get the maximum distance possible from your blink.
2. Making sure you are hugging the object you're trying to blink through before you let go of the blink; if there's empty space between you and the object you're trying to blink through it can throw you off if you're too hyperfixed on the survivor's position and not just your own. You may unconsciously be strafing parallel to the box or debris or whatever you're trying to blink through at a distance and think you're closer than you are.
3. Just playing her more in general to learn what you can blink tightly around and what stuff has massive bullshit hitboxes. Just build up that experience. You may not be able to identify every single object's collision, but you may be able to recognize at a glance what can ######### you up.
Good luck!

Actually she's pretty high in regards to pickrate yet still remains the lowest on killrate. That just goes to show even more.
-
Either Oni's or Spirit's.
Twins' are also an honorable mention.
-
Whispers is elite.
For survivor probably adrenaline. It's given me lots of value multiple times. Dead hard does too, but this perk is annoying af already while playing killer.

What did I just read?
I have a lot of fun with this game still. Yes, it can be very frustrating at times, but for the most part - if I approach it with the right mindset - I enjoy my time on killer and survivor.

I think that a lot of people have rose-tinted goggles regarding how this game was back then. A good example: basically every map had 3 or 4 spots where survivors could go down/crawl and be impossible to be picked up. And that's before we got into stuff like old OoO, old DS etc.
I started somewhere in the middle of 2020, and this game was bleh. I came back just under a year ago (right after SBMM launched) and have had a blast since.

I've spent the last few weeks maining survivor, coming from being a killer main - and I'll say that even proportionally speaking, I see way more toxicity from survivors than killers. There's something about the role that really just brings it out of people.
For me it's because back then crossplay wasn't a thing yet. Don't get me wrong I love having crossplay now, but back then on console in my area there wasn't that big of an abundance of players in the console community in red ranks back when rank based match making was still used. This meant that it wasn't that uncommon to run into the same players on occasion. In a way it felt like it made you more connected to the community and it was kinda cool having everyone just know eachother if they played alot like I did at the time.
Nurse and Billy also hasn't been nerfed at the time. They were alot more fun to play even if I wasn't as decent with them as I am now. Also never had that big of an issue with old object. I think it was just ds that annoyed me more. And I really only recall like 1 or 2 spots where you couldn't pick survivors up back then, and even then I don't recall a time where I personally had to deal with it.

Name doesn't check out.
Peak Dbd was early 2019 imo anyways so makes sense.
