The Daylight Competitive Group tried a couple times to make public tournaments with rewards, but their ignorant admin demanded point multipliers for certain perk use, and tried to implement rules against camping, and the whole thing became laughable so he quit and the group dissolved.steezo_de said:Yeah. i use bbq, which means i usually immediately leave when i hook someone, to go after someone far away, and i still get called a camper in chat afterwards.

uhh. why not simply give bp per rank, maybe 3k per? thus a rank 15 will get 15k, and a rank1 will get 60k.
or some variation of that.

go ahead and chase hard to make them drop every pallet on the map. itll take a few minutes, but afterwards the rest of them will have nothing to use, and you will coast thru the rest of it
also keep in mind that many of them will fail to loop and just drop them early to buy time for them to run to the next one. so if one is very loopy, maybe try another that will drop them faster. -

the point is that if they are abandoning the system in dbd, and are now making a new game, it behooves them to show their customers that they have a plan. else their new game, which will be affected by aimbot, will have serious problems and should be avoided.

An autopsy of this problem reveals that having a “meh, report it if you didnt like it” system, ultimately destroyed itself.
The lesson to be learned going forwards is that you cannot allow people to report for “anything”. A false report suspension is required. The concept that “well we cant ban everybody, and everyones doing it, so oh well” is not acceptable.
Its like speeding. If there wasnt a rule against it, everyone would do it, and making it illegal didnt result in everyone going to jail, it resulted in most people not speeding, and the habitual offenders removed.
The question is, is BHVR willing to admit their failures (internally) and make deathgarden have a better system, because its clear that they already gave up on dbds system.
I'm on day 4 of awaiting an answer from the Devs regarding an inquiry about reporting a particular scenario.

Why are you trying so hard to delete the game? Make it bannable and we will lose 70% of the survivor population in a week, maybe even more
if they cannot correct their behavior, they shouldnt be playing games online -
