Gladly! I'm not one of those last minute item switchersBoss said:Then please ready up when joining me.

This is an issue that needs to be fixed but without one of them DCing, the game just grinds to a halt.
Yeah this is actually kind of annoying. I honestly want to disconnect whenever I'm fighting wraith with sloppy butcher because that ######### is annoying, the blood spews drop frame rates to ridiculous lows. Not to mention the fountain of blood spewing from your neck into the sky lol.
yea they going to fix that that only happen for the wraith?

LOOOOOOL WHAT THE ACTUAL F haaha.Shad03 said:Had a similar experience. I was playing Trapper sometime before his buff, and sometime before the infinites were 'fixed'. I was on the corn map with the blimp in the middle. And I knocked someone down and brought them to the basement.
As I was getting ready to leave someone dropped down in front of me and I two hit downed them. Seconds later someone ran to the basement just as I was picking up the survivor, so I two hit them as I was holding the second survivor.
Soon I had three people in my basement, I checked the locker next to the basement entrance at the top. Lo and behold their friend was hiding in that locker, soon I was having a basement party.
After everyone died I got messaged by one, telling me I was being a bad player by not allowing anyone to get saved. I was also told I made that person's little kid cry since they were both in the same game.
I just stared at my screen in amusement and I began laughing hard. I wish I saved the messages but they are lost to time now.
No but forreal I love that the counter argument to getting beat is always "get better" or "you're so bad"
But....I won? So how bad does that make you? -
That is exactly what it was. He ended up saying something like "the only reason you could even beat me is because you camped and tunneled the entire game" which I didn't. I literally only camped him because he teabagged me haha. And if I hooked 3 separate people, before downing anyone else. How is that even close to being considered tunneling? HahaGraviteaUK said:Survivors in this game bully killers all the time it's an everyday occurrence unfortunately.
Did they unhook a person 2 seconds after you walked off and you swatted them right back down? "OMG Tunneller"
Did the survivor loop you past the person on the hook? "OMG Camper"
The survivors in this game make up these "Rules" to make their own experience better at the expense of the killer.
Keep doing you, if you got the 4k it sounds like some boosted rank 1 that got salty he got killed by a green rank.
Keep serving justice to these morons and hopefully one day they might stop, i doubt it though.

Problem is when you're picking people up you have no option to look away, same when smashing a pallet.
True but if more people knew about this the flashlight would almost be totally worthless
Not really if their timing is correct the killer even when spamming "R" would still lose.
If you get the chance to "R" as the killer they messed up their timing.
-
Teabagging is annoying and toxic, sure. But how does it affect the gameplay? If anything, it makes it easier to catch the survivors as long as you don't let your aggression get the better of you and start making mistakes.
Also I play SWF and me and my friends don't teabag killers. So slapping this label onto all SWF's isn't right. The same survivors who teabag you as SWF are going to teabag you solo too. It isn't SWF, its the players. (I played a match yesterday as a 3 man and the 4th player, the solo random. Was teabagging the killer the whole game. So just a quick point prover example here)
Also no one cares if you camp or tunnel. Do whatever you want to do to kill the survivors. Thats your job lol. -
Dodging is when you disconnect a lobby when survivors load up. Sending them back to the main menuTwistedRusty said:Dodge?? -
I just want the record to state, I'm playing a match as a 3 man SWF and the random we're playing with is teabagging the killer left and right and running decisive.
Not that I believe any sort of situation as an excuse or an absolute. I just thought it was funny considering the conversations on this poll haha -
I defintely wouldn't call it a significant challenge gap. I find both sides handleable. Alot of the times, I run into SWF groups all playing altruistic and they all rush to save their friends and give me an easy 4k. So its all dependent on the people playing the game.Master said:@LegitAdventurer said:

I'm not going to take the time to respond to every single person because, lets face it. This post is BLOWING up.
But I am going to do a general response to alot of the main things being said. Which involves me saying:
I play all sides.
I play Killer quite often.
I solo queue quite often.
I SWF with one other person.
I SWF with a 4 man, but this is the LEAST often.
I don't teabag/troll killers
I don't disconnect on either side, ever.
I don't use Decisive Strike.
I rarely ever use Flashlights(or any item at all for that matter.)
I don't complain about SWF groups.
I don't complain about specific Killers.
I don't complain about specific items and perks.
I don't complain when I go up against campers.
I don't complain when getting tunneled.
I don't complain when I get pallet looped.
All of these things are part of the game. I repeat ALL of these things are part of the game.
What I do complain about? People who dodge games, why play a game to not play the game? That's silly to me. And i complain about people who disconnect. This community is one of the WORST communities that i have ever played with. On both sides. This isn't just @ killers or @ survivors. It's both sides. I've never seen a game where people just quit, so consistently. Like atleast half of the games I play someone disconnects, or kills themselves on hook. I understand that there can be issues in real that aren't always in your control. I understand that there are in game errors, that you can't control. But that doesn't boil down to over 50% of the games. Thats like a 5% chance type situation. -
Agreed. All the pink add ons suck and have draw backs. That's the equivalent to crying that survivors use insta heal medkits. And i assure you, none of us killers care about that, you shouldn't care about Killer add ons either lol The_Trapper said:GHERBEARRULES said:@Vietfox a lot of the pink add ons suck anyway XD
How can you honestly say with a straight face "all SWFs always use DS and BT." When the same survivors who use those perks, use them wether they're SWF or playing solo lol. THEY'RE THE SAME PEOPLE lolol. Not much to add that the first few posts have not already mentioned.
SWFs have communication, if i'm chasing one of them the other 3 know, and are on separate gens.
SWFs always have DS and BT, there is no consistent counterplay to DS. Juggling only works if there is a hook nearby.
SWFs have every advantage over a game that is already quite stressful as killer at rank 1.
What advantage does a killer have against a 4 man SWF on comms? None.
Plus i play SWF and don't use either of those. So there goes your whole argument lol.
What advantage do they have against a 4 man? The same advantages they have against a 4 man team not on coms. You can kill everyone wether they are on coms or are not. Its still the same game. Everyone is acting like communication dramatically changes the game when it really doesn't. -
Pretty common sense, but an easy counter is to simply all split up and do separate gens. If a Legion gets stuck tunnelling it wastes his entire toolkit. As a Legion killer main i think legion imo is really easy to counter.
You can pallet loop him for a nice double stun, forcing him to use his power and dropping pallets late or doubling back over pallets/windows after he vaults, at as long as you're in chase you cant go down from his beast mode. Plus, every hit you take gives you a speed burst. Legion has the longest technical "downing time" which means if you're in chase, all your teamates can gen rush really hard while you take Legion on the chase of his life. As long as your teamates aren't uber altruistic and hugging you, allowing him to get multiple hits during beast mode, Legion is pretty powerless. -

It is still kind of hard to guess whether your game will be fun or not only by guessing people at the lobby are SWF.I play on PS4, I had to start playing killer more because survivor wait time is ridiculous. I’ve had over 30 minutes of waiting for a game that gets dodged right as I join.
Any Killer will tell you that SWF make trials unfun more often than not. It's not a certainty, but if the majority of trials with SWF are unfun because said SWF are actively trying to be toxic, dodging ALL SWF is simply the natural result.
Ok I'm calling bs on this since swf aren't actively trying to be toxic and you and everyone else using that excuse knows it to be false. Yes I know you're using it as an example but it's a flawed excuse to even be used in the 1st place.
The simple fact of the matter is those dodging lobbies assume whether right or wrong there's a swf in it and even if there is over 60% of the time it's only 2 people. So that gives you 2 solo's that should be easy prey especially given the average should be 2 kills.
If all you're going to do is dodge because you think there's a swf what are you going to do when it's 4 solo's that destroy you because you refuse to face 2 swf or get better?
I've had so many games where the killer after getting wrecked or only getting 1 person sac'd would say I should've dodged toxic swf. This despite the fact that the lobby would fill up over an extended period of time one by one.
But there's this dodgma that anytime a killer does bad it's because swf not because they might make mistakes, or the survivors played just a bit better. Let alone if it's 4 solos that know what they're doing the killer can't play badly and expect to 4k.
If the killer does something such as camp, tunnel, proxy etc. All survivors will give him abuse. People feel more powerful when they are the majority, it’s four voices versus one in the end game lobby. It honestly feels like 85% of SWFs are toxic because they don’t like how you, the killer, isn’t playing by their rulebook.
Ive said it once and I’ll say it again, if it’s end game, I’ll camp. If I see an unsafe hook save; I’m downing the wounded survivor because it’s the same as a survivor seeing a generator on 90% and 0%.
(Unless you're a wuss and a disconnect anyway) -
The latest Christmas event had ebony moris and red ad ons dropping like crazy.
-
This game I referenced was not really an SWF match. It was just me and one other buddy with two randoms. So there was no "hes camping" communication happening. We all just all let him hang as long as we could, knowing he had a Mori, and quickly learning the killer was camping. its usually not very hard to find out when a killer is camping, yano? Just gen rush the ######### out of him, easy counter.Morfedel said:@LegitAdventurer said:
Per example: i played a match the other day SWF with me and one of my friends, we had two randoms. The killer had an ebony mori, so in theory could kill everyone after a single hook. He played Myers and was camping, really hard. Does this work? It can. But honestly camping is a huge waste of time. Even monitoring the hook is a waste of time imo.During this one hook, we ended up getting almost all of the gens done and saving him just before he died on hook. Since he had a mori and was camping there was no reason to go save the guy till very last minute. The killer ended that match with only 2 hooks and 1 mori. We all escaped because he legit camped the whole game. Never checked gens, never left to check the doors. It was a very easy game for survivors. I felt bad that the guy basically got farmed and Mori'd but nothing you can do in a situation like that, even with borrowed time.
Especially now that they nerfed it for whatever reason.
The problem is, sometimes camping works. Sometimes the survivors come swarming and you can start dropping them like flies.
And when playing against a full SWF group that know what they are doing, and using voice, the moment you leave they know it and can tell their friends to come save them, or whatever. Against SWF its a catch 22 for the killer.

Also update. I played a game against a 4 stack and they steamrolled me. I only got 2 or 3 hooks before end game, they prevented alot of hooks through DS and flashlights. But end game I ended up killing 3 of them. It was amazing. None of them disconnected, I was proud.

It could also depend on rank and region since this game finds lobbys accordingly. It was a bad night tonight and almost all of my lobbys took at minimum 5 minutes to find a match. It was legit closer to 15 for most of my lobbies. It isn't always this bad but tonight was so bad that I got a group together to do Kill Your Friends because lobby times were so bad haha.Dehitay said:@LegitAdventurer said:

I play both, but i used to prefer killer over survivor. Now that I'm high rank in both, killer is way more stressful than it is playing survivor. I'm not complaining but being pallet looped by good survivors can be so tiring.
-
Per example. I believe I'm currently only a rank 8( purple rank) as killer since ive been playing less frequently since the reset. I played against all red ranks and 1 green rank. I dont really think they did anything that should be considered "cheating" but I guess you guys would disagree. I ended up hooking every single person 2 times a piece and then they all escaped and got away. Thats a win in my book. They weren't tea bagging a-holes. It was just a relatively decent back and forth. I consider that winning as a killer.
I understand all games arent like this as I too have played against the colorful hair teabaggers who chase the killer while his friends do gens. Thats an easy counter tho as long as you don't camp or tunnel. -

Friday is basically the same exact game as DBD. Sure there is the "walkie talkie" item in game, but other than that, it is almost the exact same game. And when that game first came out, if you were in a party the game would automatically change your party settings to "In Game" and not let you change them to "party chat", but they quickly reverted that because team communication just makes games more fun. So it is possible to prevent the use of Party Chat if they wanted too.Possible for what? Friday doesn't factor in.Dead by daylight has no mid trial chat at all.
It is supposed to be antisocial, even between survivors: -
They are literally the same players my guy. I play both SWF and randoms. Just like everyone else lol. There isnt some hidden objective that says SWF'S must teabag. The same people who play SWF are the same survivors who play solos. Jafeel?Orion said:@LegitAdventurer said:

You don't understand the complaints because you're only looking at it from your personal PoV.
Randoms do not teabag as much as SWF groups. On average, rounds with SWF are less fun than rounds without SWF.
And fun is in the eyes of the beholder I guess. Just because you don't get a 4k doesn't mean you cant have fun.
A friend of mine, who streams casually plays solo queue and is the scummiest player alive. Constantly tea bagging, uses that laurie sensory perk so the killer can see him at all times and he legit chases the killlers around being toxic as fuuuu- he much prefers solos over SWF. So it happens on both sides.
I feel ya though, i hate playing against scummy survivors. Doesn't mean I'm just gonna dodge every game I run into because they MIGHT be a SWF. Or they MIGHT be scummy. If that were the case I would never be able to play the game hahaha -
Friday canceled the ability to be in party chat while loading into a game in the early stages of the game, they quickly reversed this because they realized it made the game less fun. So it is definitely possible.Rebel_Raven said:

This isn't normal gameplay.
And neither is using outside chat. If it was something the devs didnt want to happen they would cancel it, just like they did in the earlier days of Friday The 13th, which they also have taken that concept away because playing team games without communicating with your team just isnt as fun.
Mixed rank SWFs vs a killer matched with the lowest, or next lowest rank are common.
Rarely we get 4 red ranks vs a rank 18 killer.
Spare the killer's feelings? Coming from the guy upset that killers dodge them? Why should killers spare your feelings? That's some irony for you .
Hey, you do you. You like the challenge? Go for it. Doesn't mean much of anything to me.
And it's not like you're a low rank killer getting stomped on by newbies.
It's pretty different when red ranks dodge red ranks and people who aren't red dodge because they might face survivors who are a different color rank.
How, exactly would DBD devs stop 3rd party voice chat? Or even prove it's being used?
P.s. chat is basically cheating since it isn't in the game at all during a trial, and the game isn't really balanced for it.
And sparing feelings in game is entirely different than just assuming the survivors are going to be scummy before even starting a game lol. -

I'm sorry but if you think communicating with your team is cheating thats just incorrect. Thats like saying call of duty with friends is cheating if the other team isnt using mics. Or Overwatch, or Friday the 13th etc.
Throwing at the hook can be countered, honestly, i love when survivors do that to me. Easy damage, yeah i lose a hook but i also just gained a huge advantage. And as a survivor I body block hooks wether I'm solo queuing or SWF. I'm not claiming to be the best killer, or survivor around. Suffice to say I'm just pretty causal player but playing solo queue vs playing with teams I play the game exactly the same as I would with randoms than I do SWF's. Yeah, no. If you use chat outside the game, you're basically cheating, and people don't like being cheated.
We don't know if you are until we're in the game, but most SWFs do use outside help.So why on earth should we have to roll the dice on if we're going to get cheated out of a fair game when odds are you are going to cheat us?
What's in it for us? Why should we have to put up with a difficulty spike? It's getting to the point where I have to roll the dice on if a SWF is going to be filled with #########, sweaty tryhards, and/or people using outside chat.
And don't get me started on mixed rank SWFs where you aren't even the same color in rank, and letting the higher rank prey on lower rank killers.
I'm not saying you and your homies pull the bullshit I mentioned, but too many others do to instantly have the trust of the killers that dodge you.
We care about your wait times about as much as SWF cares about the fun of a killer, and that's slim to none.
We can agree to disagree. How is chatting with your team cheating? Lol most everything in this game is discernable with or without outside chat. As someone who plays both killer and survivor, i don't have much of a differenc playing against randoms than I do playing against SWF.
And yeah sweaty tea bagging try hards are annoying to fight but oh so much more satisfying when you down and kill them. Plus, whats the point in pub stomping randoms? Id much rather get better at the game and play against talented, coordinated players. Makes the game much more fun than just, say walking all over easy noobs.
Well technically you are using a third party program (ts/discord) to gain an ingame advantage. Yeah yeah you wont get banned, but you know what we mean.. Fact is that playing against SWF usually is quite unfun, either they genrush you ala depip squad or they throw each other at the hook while clickin at you ala ochido-gang.....

This isn't normal gameplay.
And neither is using outside chat. If it was something the devs didnt want to happen they would cancel it, just like they did in the earlier days of Friday The 13th, which they also have taken that concept away because playing team games without communicating with your team just isnt as fun. -
We can agree to disagree. How is chatting with your team cheating? Lol most everything in this game is discernable with or without outside chat. As someone who plays both killer and survivor, i don't have much of a differenc playing against randoms than I do playing against SWF.Rebel_Raven said:Lmao
Yeah, no. If you use chat outside the game, you're basically cheating, and people don't like being cheated.
We don't know if you are until we're in the game, but most SWFs do use outside help.
So why on earth should we have to roll the dice on if we're going to get cheated out of a fair game when odds are you are going to cheat us?
Not at all my guy. Survivors queue times always take forever. They generally take give or take 5-15 minutes to find matches, just to get dodged and start all over lol.Master said:@LegitAdventurer said:
A message to all killers. I never understood why people are afraid to fight any sort of survivors. Are you not a confident killer? Do you think you're bad? I don't get it. I understand killers have almost instantaneous wait times but survivors do not. I can't tell you how annoying it is to wait 10-15 minutes to find a game just to get dodged, sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row.Stop being afraid of SWF groups, half the time i get dodged I'm only a group of 2 people. Sometimes people join up all at once, regardless of them being in a SWF together or not. Ontop of killers being afraid of specific survivors (???) I still dont understand that stigma. "Ope nope. I can't kill them, they have a claudette on the team. Time to dodge"
So TLDR killers, please stop dodging us. We understand you find games instantly but we do not.
-sincerely,
survivors and our ridiculous wait times.Im not confident at all when I play unviable killers because I know its up to the survivors whether I lose or win.
And tell me, why should I go against a SWF that clearly wants to bully me? Nah thanks, I will dodge and hand that group onto the next nurse/billy that wanna deal with them.Oh and btw, no killers dodges because of claudette, you wouldnt be able to find a game for hours probably

Also I thought survivor queue times are instant because killers got buffed so hard for ez 4ks that everybody wants to play killer?

Amen to this post.
So many killers complain and moan that "survivors just gen rush" "survivors pallet loop instead of playing the game how its meant to be played" like lol wut. Killers just want survivors to ignore the gens and just stand still and let them kill them with no challenge. Which will almost never be the case. Whenever I hear this mindset all I can say is "get good scrub"
Alternatively, like you said, so many survivors yell "you have to respect the 4%!" Or "wow camper!" "Just tunneled me the entire game!" Which are legitimate killer strategies. If you don't like this, make sure you and your friends run perks like kindred, or borrowed time.
The most annoying thing (as killer) is when, you haven't even had a chance to hook the survivor and walk away and the rest of the team is being way to altruistic and rushing to get the save before i even get a chance to leave. I'm supposed to just turn and walk away? Lolol even though i can see you nearby ready for me to leave? Why would any killer in his right mind do that? Lol. I defintely lean away from camping myself, mainly because i think its a waste of time, i would rather be patroling gens or starting another chase/hook. But if all your friends are crouched by the hook, you better bet your butt I'm not gonna just turn and run away because I'm scared you're gonna call me a camper lol. -
Per example: i played a match the other day SWF with me and one of my friends, we had two randoms. The killer had an ebony mori, so in theory could kill everyone after a single hook. He played Myers and was camping, really hard. Does this work? It can. But honestly camping is a huge waste of time. Even monitoring the hook is a waste of time imo.
During this one hook, we ended up getting almost all of the gens done and saving him just before he died on hook.
Also completely disregarding what you guys see as an exploit this is still a pretty decent tactic, regardless of downing them outside of a chase. Do you know how many survivors ive downed by, hitting them with my feral and faking rubber banding off them, acting like I'm going to another survivor and getting back on them catching them mending. This tactic works with or without bloodhound. This tactic works with our without "an exploit"
And saying "he doesnt work with his perks" just really is not a response for why he is "a bad killer" humans are ridiculous lol they just cant grasp onto anything new. Its really silly.
I use spirit without any of her perks. Still good. I use hag without any of her perks. Still a good killer. I use trapper without his perks. I don't see why yall are so fixcated on that lol. -
I'm kind of new to michael but I really enjoy playing as him. I use Rancor, Play With Your Food, Save The Best For Last, BBQ & Chilli. I generally do pretty well with this, good at putting fear into the obsession by constantly applying pressure to him, forcing him off gens etc. And also killing everyone else, games usually end in me getting a nice mori as well. Which is always a bonus.
Ive also been thinking about running a Dying Light, Remember Me build. If I had Blood Warden id probably add that too it. Not sure what else goes really well with the killing the obsession first, probably Rancor to spot him as soon as the first Gen pops, but that defeats the whole purose of the Mori so 😂
Edit: Nurses Calling, Thanataphobia, Sloppy Butcher are always good place holders if you're ever unsure of what perks to use.
