a lot of issues here but something I want to bring up as a whole is a kinda nostalgic idea
There is a reason balance landing doesn’t work while exhausted, there is a reason self care was removed from CoH
a lot of these changes are reverts which is fine sometimes, but there is definitely a reason why they were nerfed in the first placeYes shure, but a lot of the perk nerfs were questionable done and they overnerfed them instead of nerfing them properly. COH only needed a basekit way to counter it, but instead they made it trash.
Overall I think most changes would just make those perks better without making them meta or too strong. The ones with a ✔️ are balanced in my opinion while the others might be strong but still fine if done correctly.

More likely they can't say anything until it's all approved by the license holders. They have to give final approval to my understanding
I don‘t about that, but there are only killer tweaks (small number changes) and no killer updates (reworks) on the roadmap, which is clue.

Distortion won't be useless if it couldn't be recharged. It still would announce most of the killer's aura perks to the survivor, so the survivor could manually avoid them. For example, Distortion will tell the survivor of the killer has perks like BBQ or Nowhere to Hide, so the survivor could know if they need to hide from those perks. And that value still happens even if the tokens can't be recharged.
And no, Distortion isn't necessary at all. Anti-teamwork perks are never necessary for the game.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3772841#Comment_3772841
Billy's "crouch tech" exploit isn't how the game is intended to work, and should be fixed. If Billy needs balance adjustments afterwards that is fine. But we shouldn't be encouraging BHVR to leave obvious bugs in the game, just because they are a quick and easy counterplay.
How do you expect people to hide from Nowhere to hide? Should I stay in a locker 5mins in advance before the killer comes? This perk makes hiding around gens impossible and I know that because I don‘t play distortion, but all my friends who are bad loopers do. It‘s a necessary evil for them to make the game not completely frustrating and unfun.
This perk got value for the team, the same way it hurts the team. My friends always run this perk, which makes me an easy target, but they can also tell me when my aura is shown and they can bump through the gens quicker without constant interruptions, which benefits all.
Like I know behavior they will only touch stuff if it‘s necessary, which means Billy is strong enough and doesn‘t need crouch tech removed.
-
Distortion should only recharge token slower, but not too slow. I doubt the devs will make a fair nerf. They did the same with Adre/UW, where they gutted it. They will probably also not listen to any of the feedback to it since they always make their perk changes regardless of feedback.
If they nerf distortion too much they have to hard nerf lightborn too, because his perk actually hard counters blinds while distortion actually got counterplay.

They actually hinder the killer quite alot.
Killers who need to tunnel most (freddy, trapper, Myers etc) have a nightmare going through those defenses against good teams. They give so much time to good survivors who know how to use them. Basekit BT, for example, guarantees you can get to a loop before the killer can hit you again unless you're hooked in a deadzone and the killer is camping.
What this actually shows is that there are many bad survivor players who would rather beg BHVR for another basekit feature than actually use the numerous tools given to them.
If you ever go against a 4-man, try tunneling one of them out as a mouse 1 killer, and you will see the extent to which these features handhold already good players who don't need them.
Not every killer is on pig level. Most killers can tunnel someone very easily and don‘t say killers should all have it easy to tunnel. Tunneling is far too efficient and even with those perks it’s still easier to tunnel than to go for someone else, which shows how good they are.
Basekit borrow time only gives you a chance to do something to not make it completely unfair.
You can‘t compare all players to comp players. Comp players are not a big part of the community and not everyone got the time and will to become as good as they are.
Maps become easier and easier for killers, which means survivors can do less and less against tunneling, which then means they have to change something to make it not completely unfair.

Ultimate weapon already got nerfed into the ground, and Weave attunement is already on the roadmap to be changed.
If tracking perks are too powerful, then they should be looked at individually. And there are healthier perks that block auras, like OTR, that exist for anti-tunneling, instead of encouraging survivors to excessively hide.
Having Distortion limited to 3 or 4 uses per game, places Distortion in line with perks like OTR. It’s better for the game, if the “excessively hide” perks are nerfed, and changed to be more of a limited duration anti-tunnel perks, or limited edition “helps escape chases” perks.
Distortion would become useless without a reliable way to recharge it. They only have to make the recharge slower, but I doubt that they will make a fair nerf, they will probably make it useless. Also distortion is necessary for as a way against aura reading since we have so many (strong) aura perks.
The only thing I don‘t understand about this perk is why it hides scratch marks.

Also, the most important Billy change that needs to be made, is to remove the "crouch tech" exploit. Billy's chainsaw should be able to hit a crouching survivor just as easily as it can hit a standing survivor.
That’s extremely unlikely to happen since he is one of the strongest killers.

Sad to see that Freddy still isn't in the roadmap. When the AMA said Freddy had an update planned soon, I thought that meant the next dev update, or the next roadmap for that matter.
But then again, I've already waited 5 years for something amazing to happen to Freddy. I can wait a few more months.
It is what it is.
I think he will be in the next mid chapter and he is supposed to be a surprise. They said above that there is not everything on the roadmap. Also there are no killer updates (reworks) on the roadmap only killer tweaks (number changes).
I hope for the best.

I want them to remove the auras of his illusions and that his grenade attack gets a smaller radius, but he can shoot more often.

That's not quite true. Doctor got a lower CD when using blast without hitting any survivor. That's not quite a purely number change. I don't expect we'll see Victor, but Twins presence makes sense if you consider the original update fell flat.
Shure, but the v2 version would be a rework while the cooldown change just was a small buff.

The original update to Twins got pulled with a few number adjustments going live. Likely this is just the v2 of the original update now that they had more time to work on it.
But it is only a killer tweak, which means the will only adjust some numbers.
-
@Crowman said:
The killers on the roadmap are listed as "Tweaks" which a dev said in the thread a tweak is nothing more than just minor adjustments. Would you really be happy if Freddy got a few number adjustments like Doctor or Nemesis on the upcoming patch?
Yeah you are right it would be very disappointing

I miss that you return old first Sadako with current buffs in the roadmap😭. That is my suggestion:
@Langweilig said:
My main problem with her reworks is that survivors are forced to grab tapes, which makes them turn off all TVs 📺 that I wana use for teleporting. She was so much more fun back in the days when she could still use her TVs frequently. I don’t think this can be fixed in this version, so I want her old first versions mechanics back. I know many felt like condemned was too weak, but I think with more opportunities to spread condemned like with the removed or reduced cooldown of TVs, lock in condemned and new things here, this would have changed significantly.
Old mechanics being reintroduced and current ones changed
- Passive condemned: Every 25s of holding a tape you get 1 stack condemned
- Only one TV spreads condemned
Buffs
- TVs no longer turn off after projection (was 45s) - might be too much, but maybe not 🧐???, would need to get tested
- TV auras getting removed - This is one of the most annoying things when playing her. 1. Survivors instantly find a TV and turn it off 2. Her tp is so useless, because survivors always know where you will tp to and then they just run the opposite direction. Imagine survivors always knowing out of which locker dredge would come!
- Condemned gets spread in a 20-24m range (was16m) - to help with prerunning, which was a problem back then and to get stacks easier onto survivors
- Tape ineration speed 1,5-2s (was1s) - In live it‘s far too fast
- Visible duration while flickering is 1s (was1,5s) - to make the invisibility happen more often
- The lullaby range decreased to 12m (was 24m) - so survivors do not instantly run away when it shows up in the visual heartbeat
- Her invisibility flicker is 1,3s long (was 1,2s when excluding the bug, that makes it a lot shorter than intended) - I think her flicker should be made better and please don‘t make the addon bad, because of it
Quality of Live
- In Sadakos post manifest flicker the red stain is hidden or she gets there undetectable there (new) - to make her flicker better for mindgames since it gives you away
- She no longer gets slowed down when manifesting or demanifesting (was 4,0ms) - It is unnecessary in my opinion and her hindered addon would actually become good through this change
- Flickers for 4s after projection (new) - would be a nice little change and she also does that in the movies
- Demanifest flicker and manifest flicker get the same values - I never understood why there is a difference, especially why we have 2 addons for the same thing
- Her invisibility does not deactivate through breaking pallets, vaulting and switching from demanifest to manifest - this would give her more ways to mindgame survivors (new)
- TVs no longer turn off when spreading sadakos curse by putting away the tape - it makes no sense that the last TV you put your tape away turns the TV off, it should probably even turn the TV on since the curse is spread and cleansed by others watching the clip on the TV
- Hooking a survivor gives all other survivors 1 stack of condemned - this is to encourage hooking over slugging and to actually chase someone instead of tp spamming (new)
Addons
- 🔴Iri videotape: Hitting a Survivor within 8 seconds after Manifesting turns on the last 2-3 TVs turned off
- 🟢Well water might need a new effect since the red stain would be hidden now while flickering
- 🟢Ring drawing: Condemned Survivors spread their Condemnation to other Survivors, who complete a Healing action on an injured Survivor. - The old effect was a lot cooler/stronger/uniquer and it‘s basekit
- 🟢Rickety pinwheel: Survivors suffer from the obvious effect and hear no lullaby, when within 16m (was 8m) of any TV. This effect lingers for 7 seconds after turning off a TV. - This addon got rarely used, because it doesn‘t really activate in the live version since there survivors are encouraged to take tapes and in her former version it was ok, but not really useful since you are normally not walking around the map outside of her power. The range was also too small and often didn‘t even reach gens.
- 🟡Yoichis fishing net: Reduces the time it takes Survivors to acquire another stack of Condemned by -12 % when holding a tape (revert to its old effect) - The current effect does not really activate often and the older one was a lot more useful. We also do not really need 2 blindness addons.
- 🟡Sea-soaked cloth: Survivors suffer from the blindness Status effect when within 16m (was 8m) of any TV (was only turned on TVs). This effect lingers for 7 seconds after turning off a TV -The range was too small to be useful and in live TVs are always turned off, so it didn‘t activate much.
- 🟡Reikos watch gets a new effect since its effect gets moved to 🔘old newspaper. I never understood why there is a diffrence between demanifest flicker and post demanifest flicker in terms of addons and power. Old newspaper would still be +33% for manifest and demanifest flicker invisibility
- 🟡Clumb of hair: Reduces the threshold for full Invisibility while Demanifasted by 10m (was 4m) -The 4m don‘t really matter and until 8m it would probably still not matter. The addon could be really cool if it wasn‘t that weak.
- 🔘Cabin sign and 🟡well stone need both new effects since their effects are too minor already or they need a big buff and cabin sign would do nothing if there is no cooldown after projection
- 🔘Videotape copy might need a new effect too or it needs to be increased to 6m (was 2m), but l don‘t know how useful that would be
Many of her current addons are bad, because they are designed for her first version, so reverting her would automatically make some of them a lot better.
Addon ideas
- The haste she would get from protection, gets turned into slowness and given to survivors for the duration of the speed in a 16m range of the TV. - Would be a fun meme addon. I would make this addon yellow or grey
- Sadako can tp to a turned off TV and activates it afterwards again, she does not spread condemned when doing it. - would be strong addon and would give you unlimited teleport as her. This addon would be greeen or purple
- Hitting survivors with tapes, breaks the tape - As a small little counter against tape delivery. I would make it grey. Wether or not it should give condemned, I let you decide.
- Every time a generator gets completed every survivor gets a stack of condemned - Another way to spread condemned, could maybe even be basekit in this version. I would make it yellow or green addon
Also can we please get a chest update, where you make „Ace in the whole“ basekit, special/more basement chests and the loot better. -

nothing has changed about that, it's still planned…just a lot to add to the roadmap - it's definitely not exhaustive.
Does that mean there is more coming what isn‘t on the road map like the other perks from the next update?
Is answered: The comment from peanuts showed up later.
-
What is the difference between a perk update and a tweak?
-
What happened to all the perks you said you would make useful in the Ask me anything? You said it were 12perks or more solely buffed in fall.
-
Please don‘t make moris bp offerings!!! They are fine while only being a cool gimmick. You would ruin ghost face with this.
For the perks, that you will probably nerf, please don‘t ruin them like you did with MFT, UW, Adre….
-
This shows that anti camp and anti tunnel stuff doesn‘t get its job done.
Those things are only a small annoyance, but don‘t really hinder the killer.
1-3 are good, that we have them.
No idea what 4 even is.
5-6 I don‘t like that they removed hook grabs. They were a fun part of the game and 6 did nothing good. The AFC made only camping worse by turning most camper into proxy campers, which is stronger, turned them into tunnlers or some people leave you on the hook, because they think the AFC does anything.
The +10s on hook are very good, because it discourages it and makes it weaker. This is how I wished behavior would have done it, instead of the anti camp face mechanic.
You forgot babysitter buff

It’s something I care about too. It takes too long to spend Bloodpoints. I wonder if Bhvr will make it so that you can spend all of your points in one go.
The only thing they‘ve changed was the auto bloodpoints spend option. Before you needed to have the character you were leveling on prestige 3 to use it and now you only have to prestige one character and you can use it on every character immediately.

I suspect part of the reason it's this way it's not just the playerbase being split, but a huge chunk of survivor queue just being friends that want to play together and jumping to play killer because, let's be honest, killer is just way more fun than survivor.
And I think this might be the case because it's odd to me that they'd have to boost the survivor queue bonus to 400%. BHVR even tweeted "That's a lot of killers!" and I doubt this game mode just triggered a bunch of newbies to start playing and suddenly all of them agreed to play killer.
It feels like people are migrating because the only thing tying them to survivor play was the co-op aspect of it.
I only play survivor when killer ques take too long (like now), when I play with friends or when I want to play without headset. Survivor is in a bad spot for long time already in my opinion since the circle of healing nerf.
-
I suggested making it token based too, that would make this perk and the other gen perks a lot better. Maybe if they made that a flashback item had 3 charges, they could gives us more flashbangs and they could do the same to firecrackers.
-
They need more people to play survivor to make que times shorter for killer and how would you do that? Exactly survivor buffs.

@k3ijus said:
long rant so it’s alphabetical btw lol, listen to this while waiting for killer queues
The Artist-Fine as in, mybe decrease dispelling time of crows
The Cenobite- Okay standing point
The Clown, afterpiece(hinder) and anti-afterpiece(haste) are not shared bottles. Afterpiece has 4 and anti-afterpiece has 6.
The Deathslinger-Increase chain range from 18m to 25, buff addons that decrease reload time.
The Demogorgon- The epitome of balance itself.
The Doctor-Really good killer, but shock should not(or not repeatedly) be able to cancel ungrabs from hooks
The Dredge-Increase teleporting speed through lockers much faster.
The Executioner- Cancelling power hinders the executioner,
The Ghost Face- Make revealing mechanic more accurate
The Good Guy- most controversial change but maybe increase red stain size to make up for being 1 meter tall? Power is fine.
The Hag-Passively allow a ability to teleport to phtantom traps, increased setting speed would also be nice.
The Hillbilly-Good killer.
The Huntress- Revert buffs.
The Knight-Fix current bugs regarding switching, flag spawning time should be halved (24 → 12)
The Legion- mending time for this killer shouldnt be standardized. Maybe for a tradeoff for less mending time the mending bar dissipates much faster.
The Lich- Relatively still new, dont know where he needs commentary.
The Mastermind- Fun killer and counter-play on both parts, no complaints
The Nemesis- Would slightly increase infection for tier 2, zombies should have increased walking speed.
The Nightmare- Dream snares and pallets should both be basekit, failing skill checks will not wake you up, awake and asleep surviviors should not be able to interact with each other
The Nurse- Dont recharge blinks while fatigued, teleporting through objects will shorten the distance youll be able to blink
The Onryō-Holding cursed tapes will passively apply condemn; is not removed after being hooked,or is removed but inflicts condemned.
The Oni-Love him, no complaints
The Pig-Crotch mode has a time limit but increases speed by a + .2 m/s ;Increase bear traps to 5 and decrease death timer from 150 → 130. RBT can be activated from hook stages.
The Plague-Surviviors downed or on hook cannot be infected with vile purge
The Shape-Can mori fully stalked out surviviors,Allow stalking meter for surviviors to decrease when doing objectives but halve the original points theyll get for stalking them again
The Singularity-Decrease time for slipstream to spread from survivior to survivior drastically.
The Skull Merchant- No.
The Spirit- Make the addons more versatile without such drastic tradeoffs
The Trapper- Make much of his addons base-kit, easily solution saw from new gamemode.
The Trickster- Change laceration back to 6, Increase needed laceration hits for main event
The Twins-Implement a way to prevent slugging, such as letting victor swap positions with killer, or letting victor take hook stages
The Unknown-Make removing weakened state remival 10s → 7s, equal to uvx(m2) so killer cant do stalemates and win.
The Wraith-Perfect “stealth” killer
The Xenomorph- Increase charge time for crawler mode, increase range of turrets from 10m to 12?The cannibal? The blight? Never heard of em. Am i suppose to care? (Cannot be biased with 2 of my fave killers)
Lol, i didnt include any reasoning behind most of the changed but ill be sure to explain why if you want to know; wanted it short as possible
Artist/wraith/nurse/hag... should get lightburn back. Unknown and knight could also get light burn.
Deathslinger having a higher range sounds good and about the reload addons, I don‘t know.
Doctor is fine. You ONLY NEED TO DODGE.
Dredge: He needs multiple things. He needs a way to unlock lockers, so that not all lockers are locked at the end of the match. Nightfall could reset the locked lockers to unlocked again. Also that you always automatically to into the locked locker in a group of lockers is so stupid.
Huntress: Agree she should get her buffs reverted.
Legion is fine.
Freddy is the only killer, who needs a new power. I found his first power in the past way more interesting.
Sadako/Onryo: I wish we would get her first version back, she was so much fun back then. I really loved this killer.
Pig: Limited crouch is unnecessary and I‘m all for reducing the timer of the traps, but I would test 140s or 135s first. I wish they would give her traps a lot more love.
Myers doesn‘t need a rework he just needs some buffs and small changes.
Trapper: Unpopular opinion, but I don‘t think he is bad. The only time I really have problems is if survivors decide to follow me and disarm all traps
Trickster should be reverted to his old form.
Ghost face: Maybe a better reveal mechanic could help, but if it‘s to nerf him, no thx. I want him to not loose his power and stalk by hitting someone and there should be something against people constantly following to reveal you.
Twins/unknown/xeno are fine in my opinion.
-
Perks would make this mode a lot more interesting. I find the classes relatively boring honestly and except of the sprit burst one, no class is good. Also addons for the killers would be cool.

Okay, it hides auras, okay, visibility is no further than 24 meters, but people will react negatively to your proposal because the problem is that for many killers this will be an OP status effect.
Thanks for the comment!
I don‘t think it would make blindness op on some killers. It would give players more options how they want to play and make it a lot more useful. Even on pig it wouldn‘t do that much, because the boxes are all separated in different areas of the map and they are very obvious placed, but it would be funny if someone fails to find the last one 😁. I know that many react negatively to this, but it‘s honestly overreacting.
Survivors could still see too far with 24m. There is an addon for Onryo that (I think) does make you invisible in a 24m range and it‘s not good. Most of the time survivors can‘t see you anyway in that range. With 18m it could be better.

I hope there is something I like on the 2024 roadmap :(.
-
It‘s a bad idea to waste more resources on her, that could go into making the game better. This character will always be hated no matter whether she is fun to play against or not. They should just nerf this version a bit like removing the undetectable and haste at least they should remove that from the basekit.

Because we find them attractive. And because a lot of us a lot of times don't want to hide, but engage in chases. I would rather wear bright clothes and enjoy what I see on screen than go wear full stealth clothes just to be less seen. I see a lot of Aces wear the classic "comp", stealthy fit, but I love styling my Ace with what I find fashionable, and that's almost always bright, colorful clothes.
I like to engage in chase, but still playing a female can make the difference between the killer seeing you leave the area in a chase or not. I‘m not playing comp like, but being gigantic exposed me all the time as yoichi and made it almost impossible to hide. I also don‘t play stealth clothes, I play what I like. (Maybe I would when there where actual camouflage outfits). The other things are understandable.
-
I like your idea, but I think the only real use of this perk is autodidact and instead of playing both perks to make autodidact viable, I would prefer that they give autodidact a 10% increase skill check chance while healing.
-
This was my favorite event in dbd. It was so much fun on both sides. The only thing they should slightly change that killers do the event stuff a bit faster than survivors. Everything was great last year (and I rarely say behavior did something good).

Tying a perk's strength to whether or not people run it is not a very wise tactic, in my opinion. People run mediocre perks like Windows and actively bad perks like Self-Care all the time, and some very strong perks don't get much play. What it would be safe to say is that most new perks haven't been appealing enough to break into the meta, but that's a very different statement to saying that they're actually bad. Some of them have been very strong, even.
To that last question, no. I don't think many perks were made all that bad by their nerfs, and they HAVE been buffing perks to be more appealing at the same time. They've been both nerfing and buffing, and most of the post-nerf perks are still perfectly okay. Not all of them, mind, but most of them to my recollection.
But even when they are strong like you say, they aren‘t appealing nor interesting/fun/useful so that people would want to play them. Most of the newer perks are too extremely niche and have stupid conditions for what they do.
The only good perk change was grim embrace and coup de grace in the last year. Adre got nuked, STBFL got made useless for any not m1 character, MFT is useless and far too difficult to activate (they could have just reduced the haste to 2% and it would have been fine), UW bad, Hangman‘s trick was okey before not even strong and they nerfed it, Buckle up got nuked whether or not justified, wiretap got worse (I used it before, but since it takes 50%, it‘s just not worth it), Prove thyslef unnecessary nerf, POPGW, COH bad (they should have reduced the self healing speed and make shattered hope basekit) and COB/Overcharge both overnerfed like most of the other perks. One that was a buff, but was a nerf in my build is Autodidact and emphatic connection. It was so much better before. They reduced perk variety by a huge junk.
Shure they buffed perks, but in such a minimal way that they can‘t really be better and that it doesn‘t really matter, while making liked perks bad.

Why would someone want to play male characters?! They are so gigantic and give you a disadvantage by playing them. Everytime I try to hide with my former main yoichi, my head sticks out of the bush while sable is perfectly hidden. As long as they keep making males gigantic and females small I don‘t think males will be any success for behavior. It just doesn‘t feel good to play them. As long as this is like it is I don‘t think anything will change for males.
My hope for the skin contest is a sable with a ghost face like costume.

Hmm, well, we sort of need to ask if we're talking about the release version of these perks, or the current versions… I'll go for release versions, and we'll go character by character here.
Singularity: So, Machine Learning released kinda bad. I think it's a bit more worth it now? But still clunky and awkward to use. Forced Hesitation has some use as you mention, and Genetic Limits is a good perk but it's unappealing because you get zero feedback when it's working. Overall, Singularity's perks weren't terrible strength wise, but not very appealing for other reasons.
Gabriel: This is where I question whether we are talking about release versions, because Gabriel released with Made For This. That was obviously a good perk, lol. Aside from that one, Scavenger is terrible by necessity because toolboxes are broken + it's PTB version was broken for the same reason, and Troubleshooter is a very solid solo queue perk. Overall, good offering, one bad but two good.
Alan Wake: I have no idea why people act like Champion of Light isn't good, but it is, that's just a good perk. The other two are underwhelming but still have niche uses so I'd call them mediocre, not terrible. Overall, average offerings.
Ripley: All her perks are at least "decent". Lucky Star is a fairly reasonable info perk (+ with a bad stealth element, admittedly), Chemical Trap is a little bit RNG since you need the right pallet but is good on those pallets, and Light-Footed is very strong since denying the killer tracking is almost always good and specifically footsteps are a strong thing to remove. Good offerings overall.
Xenomorph: Now, I'm of the opinion that Ultimate Weapon was massively overrated, but it wasn't terrible either, it was just only decent on a handful of killers. Alien Instinct is a solid info perk, and Rapid Brutality is niche but strong within that niche. Good offerings overall.
Nic Cage: No arguments there. They're all meme perks, but they're fun ones and they all have some reasonable strength too. Weaker than some other options, but good additions anyway.
Chucky: Two Can Play is bad but both Friends Til The End and Batteries Included are solid perks. BI is a bit more niche since you generally want to build around it, but in that niche it's pretty good. Decent offerings overall.
Sable: While Weaving Spiders released pretty bad + is only "okay" now, both of Sable's other perks are very dependable and solid. Strength in Shadows is a very reliable self healing perk, and Wicked provides a crazy amount of killer info after you're unhooked which is very useful for avoiding any incidental/opportunistic tunnelling + for knowing if you have the freedom to let your teammate heal you under the hook or not. Great offerings overall, even factoring in that Weaving Spiders is not great.
Unknown: These perks were pretty bad. Unforeseen is okay and niche, but the other two were pretty mediocre, I have a hard time justifying running them. Not great offerings overall.
The Bards: As this thread points out and I agree with, all of these perks need buffs. They have pretty good designs, though, so at least they only need buffs and not reworks. Bad offerings overall. Bonus points for the meme potential of Bardic Inspiration, though.
Vecna: All Vecna's perks have good use cases. Weave Attunement is nasty, Languid Touch is a very dependable anti-Exhaustion perk, and while Dark Arrogance is the weakest of the three, its downside isn't quite as bad as people made it out to be and it stacks well with others. Good offerings overall.
Lara: All of her perks are good and have strong effects, but require a little work. Finesse is very strong but requires solid play to keep up, and the other two provide respectable value. Good offerings overall, with an asterisk.

Overall, perk design has been pretty good, with only a few outliers. I think the impulse to downplay recent perks - especially survivor perks - comes from a combination of not getting very many broadly-applicable passive perks, and from the fact that some perks have analogues that already exist and people think any perk that's just outclassed is necessarily also bad in its own right, which I don't think is fair. For an example there, Lucky Star is outclassed by any of the perks that are dedicated to showing one of the specific things that perk reveals, but the fact that LS only takes up one perk slot to show you a little of multiple things makes it a perfectly "okay" perk at worst.
To the wider point of the thread, too, it's worth talking about specific bad perks and how we'd buff them, and the idea that recent perks have all/mostly been terrible is kind of irrelevant even if it weren't also completely untrue. It helps to have a clarity of purpose in a discussion like this, and there's nothing wrong with only focusing on specific perks to suggest fixes.
EDIT: forgot Alan Wake, added him in where I think he is chronologically lol
Your and my definition of good are two different worlds, but since most of the newer perks aren‘t played, it‘s safe to say that the majority of perks were just bad and that there were a few okey/good ones, but no great ones.
Edit: I was talking in my post above about current versions of perks, that means MFT and UW are in no way good.
Other question: Do you agree with me that they made more perks bad by nerfing them instead of making more perks useful in the last year?

I agree the coolest part about pig are her traps. While I‘m not against buffs for other parts of her kits, her traps should never be nerfed just to compensate them like they did last time. Things I would like to see:
- Box auras back
- Trap timer reduced by 10-15s (without nerfing the addon)
- Huntress lullaby works for boxes or they make the skill check addons a lot better
- Faster crouch speed (without nerfing the addon)
- Smaller terror radius(like she once had: 24m) to make stealth better
- Better addons
- Faster charge of the ambush basekit (without nerfing the addon)
- (Bringing back how the box search used to work, where every survivor had a physical key, but to prevent afk-killing there should be a fifth box and that the fourth box guarantees the key)
- Pig can hide in a locker and ambush out of it (might be useless for some of you, but I would like that)
About your suggestions: I think 1min and 30s is far too less and the timer should stop in chase. Rule number 2 and 6 bear traps would be cool, but they would need to adjust the search rng, otherwise her traps would become a lot weaker.

that's the point, it should run out just barely before you hit a person if they're running in a straight line away from you.
that encourages you to actually play smart and catch survivors out of position instead of just bluntly pressing m2 & m1 and guarantee hit almost any time like you would with soma's photo.
3% haste is actually enough to catch up in most tiles, but not enough to guarantee hits, UNLESS you somehow make survivor lose distance when you TP.
in other words, you don't need scaling overclock if you actually know how to outplay your opponents.
it's perfect balance between not being useless and being consistent hits unless your opponent instantly predrops
I never played somas photo before or rarely, so I don‘t care about the haste.
It is just frustrating to play him and his power runs out right before the pallet drops 99% of the time. Before the update his power lasted a lot longer.
How am I supposed to outplay my opponents when all they have to do is run in a straight line and when I have to take my first chance in his cams, because otherwise I can‘t see them anymore?

as singu main, i like how the new version turned out.
not addon dependant, worse at all unhealthy things he could do, better at all healthy things he could do, actually has fair counterplay for both sides, much smoother to use.
it has a few rough edges (soma's family photo), but the basekit / low tier addons are peak balance.
His power runs out so fast. I would prefer removing the haste he got basekit, but bringing back overcloak skalling.
-
I go with neither sided.
-
This would help a lot against tunneling or at least reduce it a bit. It could mean the difference between getting healed and not, when the killer doesn‘t notice it directly. I‘m all for it.

Is it that true? What was the last outright trash perk we even got outside of the DnD chapter, Weaving Spiders? And that's just release WS, since it's kind of okay now.
Release Scavenger, maybe? That was a little while ago, at this point. Some perks are kinda underwhelming, but it's been a while since we got an outright trash one.
Maybe I should call it bad perks that nobody will ever use (aka trash perks). The perks I don‘t talk about are just bad.
Singularity: Forced hesitation is good for slugging.
Soma: All not good.
Ripley: Chemical trap/Light footed both mediocre and not really good.
Alien: The perk with a bit of use is rapid brutality.
Nick cage: All meme perks, which is fine. Plot twist is good.
Chucky: Hex two can play is bad, but could be fun with a longer duration. Friends till the end is the best perk we got last year. It‘s still not really strong.
Sable: Strength in shadows is bad, but okey.
Unknown: Unforeseen is good.
Vecna survivor: Nothing good.
Vecna: Languid touch and weave attunement are good.
Lara: Fineese is okay, but still too restricted.
Overall killers got some good perks while survivors got majorly bad perks. Some of them would be easy to buff tho.

Soon they will be useless as BP offering😿.

I personally like doctors addons. He got the coolest ones in the whole game (I wish we would have more addons like that). It would be a shame if they remove the different illusion types from his addons. I would want them to make his illusions move by imitating what you do (like mirage from apex legends). This means you move forward/turn around/make any animation the illusion does the same.
Pig got still nerfed. The coolest part about her are her traps and since she lost the auras, she became a lot more boring. For pig I have multiple things I want:
- Box auras back
- Traps timer reduced by 10-15s (without nerfing the addon)
- Huntress lullaby works for boxes or they make the skill check addons a lot better
- Faster crouch speed (without nerfing the addon)
- Smaller terror radius(like she once had: 24m) to make stealth better
- Better addons
- Faster charge of the ambush basekit (without nerfing the addon)
- (Bringing back how the box search used to work, where every survivor had a physical key, but to prevent afk-killing by making that there are five boxes and that the fourth guarantees it)
Hag is very strong. I just don‘t like playing her. I don‘t want her to be 4,6m/s. A buff I can think of would be to bring back light burn.
