Personally, I think the hitbox change is what makes Wesker fun for both sides.
With a smaller hitbox, Wesker doesn't get stuck on random map objects that prevent hits and Survivors feel like his power is dodge-able.
His current hitbox just goes straight through survivors.

Make the perk turn off after all gens are powered. Then all it does is reduce all that easy play for killers at the hook. Just leave the hook for gods sake.
Or how about survivors don't unhook literally as the killer is hooking.

Those are separate hit boxes. They reduced his survivor hitbox to more then half

Now that Basekit BT is reasonable I would kill for a perk that provides the Endurance effect to rescuers. It’s not like 10s Endurance for the hooked survivor solves camping. Killers camp hooks to either get the cheap hit on the hooked survivor or on the rescuer. They know proxy camping the hook is the DBD equivalent of shooting fish in a barrel. They’ll always hit something. And even with a good basekit BT teammates in solo queue still hesitate to save because they know there’s a solid likelihood they’ll just end up trading hooks. I think it’s time for this.
No. That perk would make every rescue effectively free.

Sadako is in need of proper balance changes. That's the type of stuff BHVR likes to wait with a bit.
Wesker more just needs bug fixes. His hit detection not always working properly is surely not intended. Those type of changes can happen much sooner, and I can see BHVR fixing at least some of Wesker's bugs in one or two hotfixes.
That is far from the only bug. The fact that if you somehow do manage to grab someone they just bounce off half the objects in the game, and even if you somehow get someone who's infected sometimes he will just let them go.

Chase music is a banger.

He has so many bugs. Twins level of bugs
-
Definitely needs a nerf. 20 seconds of invulnerability and road runner speed is insane.

His hitbox seems a bit incosistent. So I am not even sure if the problem some people are having is the fact that the hit box was reduced to 20 cm, or because it's just a bit buggy.
I have been having a great time with Wesker however. He is such a well designed killer, and so fun. And I do like how you need more precision with his dashes now, so whatever the devs do, I hope they don't inrcease Wesker's hitbox noticeably. Increasing it from 20 to 25 cm would be fine, 35 cm would definitely be too much though, for example.
But maybe all they need to do are some fixes to his hit detection so it works more reliably.
30.
But they need to fix the fact he Flys through survivors at the same time.
He nay also need another token base kit.

It baffles me to this day on why a weaker huntress needed those nerfs to begin with - and then leaving him in this barely played status.
-
I would probably give him an 8 or 9 out of 10 (and did on the beta)
But they massively nerfed his hitboxes to the point its common to charge straight through survivors and STILL clip random terrain that is invisible.
If they quickly do some small buffs and a lot of bug fixes, 9/10.
For now bug/10

and yes its endgame but he was already doing that before i just didnt get a chance to take a screen and even if its endgame it doesnt make it okay
There is nothing to defend in end game. Gens are done. So now he has to defend his hook instead of gens.

Please remember that Hyperfocus + Stake Out takes up 2 perk slots. Yes, it might be strong (not always) but it also makes sure that the survivor can't bring other strong perks.
In the end of the day the meta will most likely get back to "normal" after a few weeks.
It is the same with every chapter, we heard it with:
- Power Struggle
- Deception
- Flashbang
- Blast Mine
- etc etc etc
These perks where supposed to be too oppressive and a lot of people cried for nerfs, yet now we mostly see them in meme builds.
Nah! Blast mines was just nerfed!

This is 20cm
Buff it to 30cm.
That proves beyond a shadow of a doubt it needs to be increased. In what world is that not a hit?

The framework of a good killer is there. I think they were a bit premature in reducing his grab radius. He needs the original grab radius back or just a *little* curve to his second token. I've slid/deflected off survivors multiple times without actually grabbing them.
Just giving him the ability to curve would be massive I agree. The other thing that might help is giving him 3 tokens.

Solo queue shouldn't have to use perks, items, add-ons or offerings to get the same information SWF do at base and to think they should perpetuates the balance issues in the game
SWF effectively have a map wide aura reading perk on the killer, and a constant communication perk that the game was never balanced around. It's a combination of multiple very powerful survivor perks

I'm truly hoping for the custom match bots. I'm still going to play online but it would be so nice to just casually play killer. That's exactly what I did when Friday the 13th released their bots. Play a match or two as Jason against the bots and play live as a counselor.
This. Can we please finally practice killer instead of getting murdered our first game because we are fighting against our MMR survivors?
