Can't be helped. Survivors are not the power role in this game. Survivors cannot survive on their own. They need teammates.
Also, survivors teabagging is not their ego. It's them taunting you.
If you feel bad about it and tilt, that means your ego was fragile enough to be affected by such a useless gesture. So whose ego exactly is the problem here?
@Mochan I agree.
Like I said it’s only affecting you because they got exactly what they wanted out of you.
They are not “bullying” or have an “ego” they wanted to get a reaction out of you and they got it.
This is why when it’s done to me I just laugh it off and ignore them. I won’t even go to the exit gate. Unless I have BW in which case I do and the t bags suddenly stop 😈
-
So you’re upset cuz someone crouched up and down at the exit gate...
Best thing to do is to move on to the next match.
-
The Pig.
I scream 😱 every time she sneaks up from behind!
-
For some reason when I play Huntress I feel relaxed... maybe it’s her lullaby? maybe it’s her aiming? Dunno.
-
The only thing I would change about moris balance-wise is that the killer shouldnt be allowed to camp so they can just down and mori a survivor.
Should work kinda like MYC. They have to be away from the hook.
-
Agree with this 100%.
I noticed ever since they started releasing perks/powers where it’s better if survivors were clumped together 8/10 matches I spawn in the same little section as my team.
Which is why I usually scatter right away.
Anyway, they need to change the Shroud of Binding offering because it has become kind of pointless now after seeing this. In fact, I’d argue that it now benefits the killer more to have everyone spawn together in this new meta.
-
I think (This is me guessing) he has a Rinse-Repeat feel that people find boring.
The mending mechanic while interesting on paper is just meh in game. You mend and that’s it you are now ready to go for round two.
This killer to me has so much potential. His lore is so poorly written and doesn’t look nor feel as menacing as they should. So this doesn’t help matters when it comes to facing him as a survivor.
-
@MandyTalk Thank god..
Sometimes during the week while I’m at work I only have time for rituals so it’s always something I look forward to when I hop on DBD.

She can blink almost directly after fatigue, you only have to wait 3 seconds to blink twice. Also, the changes aren't live, if the devs see fit, they will buff her. Don't make it seem as though the Nurse won't be buffed when she probably will with the amount of repetitive backlash given from the community, ONE DAY after the PTB was released. Keep playing her and give your feedback after the PTB ends, not at the start.
@indieeden7 Don’t you mean the day before she hit PTB. There was a full page of people claiming she was trash before the changes loaded into the Test Build.
I went in for a few and went up against one, she didn’t seem that bad, plus she is faster.
I think people like to spam blinks or something.
-
I don’t know I would argue that it didn’t require “skill” to use them before considering many people would use it in specific situations.
They weren’t that OP for an ultra rare item.
-
I don’t know, maybe I’m in a special region but I see a mixture of different killers when I play.
Im a red rank survivor.

You are twisting my words by alleging I am merely comparing Leatherface and Huntress as overall Killers rather than comparing Leatherface to a very specific playstyle of Huntress.
@TAG You're comparing how LF has to get up close in order to use his "insta down" power ...
Correct?
Well this isn't the same as Iri Head and Pinky Finger, simply because you don't need to charge their weapons. You just need aim. Aim which is guaranteed for simply hovering behind a survivor.
So no. I don't think they suddenly become Leatherface because of an extreme effect that shouldn't be in an add on that is that easy and straightforward to use in the first place.
-
@TAG said:

I am comparing Leatherface to a Huntress player who only throws an Iri Hatchet when they are right up to them, just like you were discussing earlier. Please don't twist my words.
@TAG I'm not twisting your words dear you're the one who brought up Leatherface in the first place.
You are making a comparison of one add-on, to a whole killer's power, which is why I don't think it's a good comparison. Most Leatherfaces I face end up M1'ing me when they are that up close because of him having to rev his chainsaw anyway.

Like I said. It's only when an ability not designed to be an instant down becomes one that it's a problem.
That's why perks are always conditional and have a counter of some kind.
The only Killer perk that causes Exposed that isn't in response to something Survivors do is Devour Hope, which has a considerable set up time and risks being destroyed before it can do anything.
MYC triggers on Survivors unhooking.
Haunted Grounds triggers on Survivors breaking a totem.
NOED and Rancor both trigger on gen completion
Iron maiden only triggers on a Survivor leaving a Locker.
See, like I would have no problem with Pinky Finger and Iri Head if there was a meter distance condition. At least then I could see how you would have to still be skilled but with a more extreme effect.
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746334#Comment_746334
No, because I'm telling you that the methods you are suggesting turns those Killers into Leatherface. Do you think Leatherface needs little to no skill to do well? If so, why is he considered one of the weakest Killers? If not, what separates the tactics you suggested from Leatherface?
@TAG Are you seriously comparing LF to Huntress?
Welp. That's my queue.
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746323#Comment_746323
By this logic, Leatherface doesn't require skill.
@TAG See now you're getting into another topic.
Leatherface has nothing to do with insta effects because his power is not an add on.
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746304#Comment_746304
The condition they added was "Don't get hit for 8 seconds."
Also, again. Leatherface.
@TAG and they removed the effect of being "insta". Which is why I brought up other "insta" add ons. Because for the reasons I stated, they also don't require skill.
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746267#Comment_746267
That's fine, though, because they still need to be able to actually catch up if they want to do that, which still makes them effectively Leatherface. A Survivor didn't need to escape the Killer to be able to use the Agent/Syringe.
@TAG So if a survivor didn't need "skill" to use a Syringe, why not just add new conditions? Why remove the effect? I mean... if you wanna talk about skill we can talk about skill. Just, let's not pretend that an extreme effect, that is literally in those add ons (iri head, pinky finger) is not "too much" when you can literally lust a survivor and down them.
-
@Rydog said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746250#Comment_746250
You're describing something that takes a least a minimum of gameplay proficiency. Some survivors make it very difficult to get right up behind them, so it's not like you can do this 100% effortlessly. Stop with the "skill" gatekeeping.
Also, a killer should have access to these kinds of domineering tactics. They're supposed to be powerful threats, at the very least.
@Rydog Sure because every case is the same and every survivor is always in a position where they could easily make it "difficult" for a killer to get right up behind them.
Killers ignore pallets to keep their bloodlust, and they have an insta down add on on top of that... how does that take any skill?
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746250#Comment_746250
Iri head is fine by itself. The reason it needs to be changed is because it is problematic with Infantry Belt.
Again, then at that point, you are just turning Clown into Leatherface. With Iri, it is different because you can actually down someone at a moderate distance.
@TAG Most Huntresses I've gone against that had Iri head had to get up close to get the hit because they weren't confident and they weren't going to waste that hatchet to turn themselves into an M1 killer.
So at the end of the day, there is really 0 skill involved when you use these two add ons.
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746243#Comment_746243
Pinky Finger requires you to directly hit someone with a bottle, which does require aim. Insta-heals required you to push a button.
@TAG And like I explained... you can get right up the survivors' behind and not have to aim. Same with Iri head.
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746227#Comment_746227
Pinky Finger just turns Clown into a marginally better Leatherface.
@TAG I'm just comparing by the skill that is required to use it, since Peanits stated there is no skill in using a Syringe or Styptic. Not really focused on the Clown's abilities all together.
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746133#Comment_746133
Styptic Agent now grants a player protection from one hit for 15 seconds.
Anti-Hemorrhagic Syringe now takes 8 seconds to heal someone, and the heal fails if the Survivor being healed either changes health states or is picked up.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/746144#Comment_746144
The only insta-down add-on that needs to be changed is Iri head IMO.
@TAG Iri Head, Pinky Finger... You can basically Lust your way and be right up their behind to a complete down = No skill.
-
@NMCKE Honestly this is nothing compared to the killer outcry on Nurse changes.
Survivors will adapt they always do. I've already seen threads hooraying over this change and it's sad to see that the community is so split but at the same time its very obvious some people on these forums have double standards.
I never thought styptic agents were that bad tbh. Sometimes using those was the only way to stop a killer from tunneling someone or even get someone off the hook who is being camped when BT was not in play.
-
How about remove insta down add ons too.

If she has corrupt, she wont loop you to get stunned man, not every killer is a botx and also the context i meant was that it auto collectes corrupt purge
@WickedKatz Well of course not every killer is a bot lol That’s why there is a skill gap. You have bad Plagues but you have good ones too.
Like I said, I would suggest practicing in KYF and you will see that there are ways to evade her corrupt purge. You have to make sure you’re not in a “dead zone”, so if you hear her get it, it’s time to change positions.
If she gets it without it making the sound is because she has an ultra rare add on, in which case you may not be as lucky but like I said it just takes practice dodging her vomit.
-
Its not just survivor mains that think Nurse needed to be reworked. Killers and even Nurse mains agree.
what is your point exactly?
I am in red ranks and I constantly see other killers aside from Spirit and Nurse. You kids need to play survivor sometime and stop living in your own imaginary “red ranks” world.
-
@WickedKatz said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/743653#Comment_743653
It isn't, she just goes to you if you dont take her before it ends
@WickedKatz When she consumes the corrupt purge there is a sound indicator letting you know she has it.
I have countered it by initially hiding and then looping and dodging.
Also not to mention you can also remove her corrupt purge by stunning her with a pallet. Very difficult to do but not impossible.
-
Imagine claiming something isn’t fun when it hasn’t even loaded into the PTB yet.
-
Lol all the “I hope it’s a nerf to insta heals” comments but in the other Nurse threads “Doom and Gloom Bhvr broke the nurse”.... the double standard continues to amaze me.
smdh
-
Corrupt Purge can be countered... You have to play extra careful if you’re fixing gens, going for a save... and if you’re being chased you just need to have map awareness and make sure you find the nearest tile to use LoS blockers that will prevent her for hitting you with the vomit and if it’s not a full wall just crouch.
The ashed apple is on a timer so it will run out.
-
@Karl_Childers said:
For you guys that want it disabled when hooking someone else....ok, let’s completely get rid of the 60 second timer then! Cause you know what’s also unfair? Legitimately being tunneled and being unable to use DS because of the timer. So get rid of it as the tradeoff. The new “timer” is simply DS is active until the killer hooks a different survivor. Now you can continue doing what you claim to be doing in these complaints....hooking other survivors, and that DS will be gone. Now also when the unhooked survivor gets tunneled off hook, their ability in chase cant screw them out of their own perk because of the timer running. Problem solved.
@Karl_Childers They legit want the perk to be garbage like MoM turned out to be.
Because for some reason they don’t like it when a survivor gets an additional hit, even tho DS has conditions now and they can literally do what they would normally do anyway... slug.
-
Agreed!
Cannot wait for this. It will be like a breath of fresh air in DBD.

@altruistic said:
All these tears. What happened to the adapt and overcome mentality?
@altruistic Dont worry they will remember when the next survivor nerf takes place and survivors have something to say.
-
Is there an option for “I don’t care”
-
Oh it’s another one of these Survivors vs Killers thread.
-
I’ve been playing as Plague since she came out and I can tell you it is possible to dodge.
Like with every other “projectile” killer (Huntress, Clown) you have to find the right LoS to dodge it and if it’s not a full wall you just crouch. It’s not easy depending on your placement but it is very possible.
I think locking her animation in the way you describe would make very difficult to puke on survivors, especially in the stronger tiles and rooms that you’re guaranteed to miss if you don’t aim correctly.
As far as teammates being the cause of why she gets corrupt purge. I would compare that to the same teammates that instead of doing generators try to go for the save and get found, meanwhile someone else went to unhook and got down as well causing a snowball effect. Obviously not the same exact thing but I play survivor and this is the toughest part of the match... Not having reliable teammates. Luckily if you play in red ranks many of them know it’s better not to cleanse or only when you really really should.
So while I don’t wanna say that’s necessarily a “bad idea” I just felt like I should share my own experience with her.

It blows my mind that people still try to use this argument.
I've hooked a DS user, downed and hooked TWO other survivors, then found+downed the DS user again only to be hit by DS. And that was tunneling, how?
Not to mention all of the times DS users will play like complete idiots (running straight at you, doing a generator in your face, hopping in a locker, etc, etc) just because they know that they have DS.
It's not an anti-tunnel perk, it's a full minute of killer immunity that punishes the killer for downing the survivors too fast.
It should de-activate if A) another survivor is hooked B) the DS user is full healed or C) the DS user begins working on a generator/exit gate because clearly safety isn't his priority at that point.
@HP150 The problem is people thinking is strictly an anti-tunnel perk.
You get the "But I wasn't tunneling" ... Good. One could make the same argument when they slug and you think "But I don't have DS".
This perk already got nerfed to a basic form and now they want it nerfed even more. Go figure.
-
Not saying this happened to you because I wasn’t in your game... but there’s also a DC bug that is in the game where the game kicks you out of the match.
i’ve seen streamers experience in this I got kicked yesterday for no reason... this started with the ST patch.

The 60 second window is too large. That’s a huge amount of time in DBD. And when all 4 survivors run it?! Sheesh.
Entering a locker should disable DS entirely (if it happens to be active at the time)
Once again it’s players finding an exploitative use out of a mechanic that is not intended.
@DudeDelicious Lol what?
So using perks to their fullest potential or as a strategy is now exploitable?!
DS isn’t meant to be JUST an anti-tunneling perk. It can be utilized to play other ways.
If you’re going to claim someone is exploiting by simple using a perk that works AS intended. (I met the condition and got hooked now I gotta wait) Then you better be ready to explain how slugging isn’t exploiting, considering about 90% of the killers use this “strategy”.
Once again, DS isn’t an anti tunnel perk only.
-
As long as I had fun I don’t care about keys.
-
Usually people who try for the 4k are the ones that sweat, and I don't like to sweat, I like to have fun.
-
I just have to ask...and I mean no offense.
What is the point of these type of threads?
Just report them. Each and everyone of them. You have the chat log.
We already know players from both sides can be insulting in post match chat. We don’t need to be reminded.
-
Lol @ They cannot make out of beta stage.
Have you actually been in game during beta stage?
90% of the issues you’ve listed aren’t bad enough to deem them worthy of beta stage “problems”.
Also, I’m sure the art team would love to get their hands on how to properly balance the game...lol

If you noticed the negativity towards Spirit but still need to question why, then chances are that you are not actually reading what people's arguments are about her.
@Sairek This so much.
Nobody bothers to read anymore before they make these threads.
For me personally, the core problem I find with her is her ability to hear. It’s too good. Too good that her weakness which is to not be able to see survivors becomes pointless. You can easily track someone through their grunts/sounds, this even with iron will.
My suggestion would be that maybe the survivors’ sound have like an echo effect so she in order to pin point where they are she has to kind of guess.
Thats just been my experience playing as and against her.
-
Idk, I am in red ranks and yesterday alone I faced a Demogorgon, Hillbilly, Trapper, Clown.
-
DS is not strictly an anti-tunneling perk.
It can be utilized as more than that. Which is why people seem to have an issue with it because then they think "But I wasn't tunneling...".
-
Yes I believe they will probably make it available twice per hook.
