Why not make them all spawn on hooks already with a 4% chance to unhook themselves in order to actually play the game?

Srsly some people need to 'git gut'. The game is way more balanced than back in 2016. I play both sides (around 60/40) and have a variety of P3 killers wth all perks. I mix up my builds and don't only run meta..Yes, holding 'w' and pre dropping pallets is annoying but most of my games I still 2k, which according to the devs is the balance they want. The only change they should make is hooks counting more than kills. Getting a 4k is easy but going for 12 hooks is not. They should increase the points you get for hooks and make the actual kill effect pipping less.

I agree some map sizes should be looked into but killers for sure don't need a 1 shot mechanic to be able to "win".

    Do you camp/tunnel ?

At what MMR are you playing ?

I play both sides aswell and did a post with my stats on 16 games in a row at high MMR as a soloQ survivor :

    Personal escape rate = 75%

Average # of hooks the killers did = 3,8

    Hook rate = 32%

    Average # of kills = 1,3

    Kill rate = 33%

We are far from 2k average and far from a balanced game when the average # of hooks per game is 3,8 lol.

So you should "git gud" as you say and go play killer at high MMR :). You clearly have no idea of what it is.

  • Yup, one of the best DLC going away :(.

Short of reducing the base terror radius or making other wholesale changes to the core design, there's not much that can be done.

You can make tiles less safe to counter pre-dropping, but good killers will win every single exchange due to the asymmetry. Tiles in this game are almost completely safe or playable for all of 10 seconds at most before the survivor gets hit. And then survivors W and stealth even more.

It's not a unique problem for a live game to encounter, but it presents itself uniquely in DbD because DbD is unique. Players have, in some ways, become better at the game than the devs ever anticipated when they built it.

The best change would be one hit down and removing Iron Will.

Staying injured would grant the killer extra information with noise you do, that would be the only downside of staying injured.

And with the good loopers around and so many pallets/windows, one hit down would not be too much i guess, reducing chases from 1min30 to 40 seconds.

Also, injure hits could be done when you take hit around a hooked survivor. For protection hits, you would need to use a medkit with a Skyptic agent.

  • Yeah, less pallets to force survivors to optimize their usage, they would be forced to mindgame and to choose wisely the pallets they drop.

  • @Myla said:

Anyone get that feeling? It's just not possible anymore on certain maps and you're an M1 killer lol.

I'm not even doing anything wrong really, Fast chases and sometimes survivors just not bothering looping just drop pallet then run again, Generators are just popping left and right. Even as a hit and run Wraith it's pretty much pointless with Circle of healing now(revert his nerf pls), Everyone's running around healthy to hold W to another safe pallet when they get injured and it's obnoxious. Generators are designed that each one takes at least two minutes hence you don't get anymore xp after 10 minutes but when your early game is so non existent with your first chase popping three generators if you got awesome RNG then you might as well open the gates.

Guess I just have to bust out my dusty Nurse and Blight now.

By the way Overcome might be a sneak peak of M1 killer's futures if you have no snowball potential.

In a game environment where gens need 80s, 47s or 38s to be done when there is/are respectively 1, 2 or 3 survivors working on them, survivors clearly don't need to be good loopers.

From my experience, if a trial lasts around 12 minutes or more, average survivors will loose most of the trials, only really good survivors would win.

But fact is trials are lasting 8 to 10 minutes top at high MMR. The game design (gens speed, pallets, windows, semi-infinite, DH, Lithe, hit boost etc...) allows the survivors to do all gens without the need to have any skill.

Only survivors that would fall down in 20 seconds cannot win a trial. Any survivor pre-dropping pallets, holding W and not failing skill checks is good enough to win most trials against all killers beside Nurse. And when you face great survivors, your trials end up with 2 hooks, they all escape.

    That's the way it is.

With such a state, at high MMR, 1 hit down should be the normality.

In L4D1, survivors were so strong that all the changes below have been made to balance the game at high level :

    • no more T2 weapon (all auto weapons removed, only standard pump-shotgun + uzi)
    • no more medkit and no more pills hidden on the map, only 1 pills box/survivors at the start of the round
    • 1 tank on every map, random spawns
    • no more molotov nor pipe bomb
    • Hunter pounce deadstop disabled, you had to one shot them mid-air to prevent a pounce

All those changes came step by step with the level of the community increasing. First everyone played the CEVO mode (1 tank per map) then it was Frustian (CEVO + medkit at start, only pills on the map, only T1 weapons) and then Rotoblin mode (Frustian + pills only at start).

And the game was greatly balanced at high level in Rotoblin mode only.

BHVR should also balance their game depending the MMR level (less pallets, less windows, slower gens, some perks disabled etc...).

I always see the same killers each game, Huntress (85% of the time), wraith, trapper, hillbilly ect....I never see any of the "fun" killers i would say (45-50% hit or miss) like Trickster, Nemesis, Pyramid Head, Blight, Twins, Spirit, Oni, Demo, Nurse, Pin Head (hes okay but not that interesting) It just seems like i see more of the free killers then anything else. I know more new killers are playing the game lately but its so boring going against the same killers everytime.

    Most killers :

    • 1st hook = 3 gens done
    • 2nd to 3rd hook = doors at 99%

Even when you are good. What is the point to play those killers ? So players are playing stronger killers.

Wrong again!! lol I win way more than i lose and killer has nothing to do at all with MMR which shows how much you know. Since i win more my MMR raises and i have high MMR so you can fall back with that comment.

Again i dont care about how good streamers are i care about how good "I" am! I already know the top streamers are good but im my own person so call it ego or whatever you want. Im "confident" in my ability and thats not a bad thing at all.

High MMR does not equivalent to a loss like your saying. Once again im godlike and play at high MMR so my opinions are valid!

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2637404#Comment_2637404

Why do you keep mentioning Pinhead who is tiers above Trapper and those killers? lol

Myers IS better than Trapper and Wwraith because he's better than them and at what they do. Myers with Tinkerer and Bamboozled is very good. Trapper with a good end game build is not lower than where he is

Sry but i do not believe you then :).

When the SBMM works properly again, do some streams.

I know you will say you have nothing to prove, proof that all you say is just not true.

  • Yes, either MMR has been reset, either it is disabled, either they tweaked it because high MMR kill rate was terrible.

Maybe the MMR system is where the breach is for the leaked IP ?

Anyone from BHVR to tell us what is happening with the SBMM ? We are all noticing some weird changes with the matchmaking.

So huntress is exploiting too by using truck resized hit boxes ? Or survivors do while revealing ghost face behind walls by abusing the reveal mechanic ? Tell me if oni’s abusing the game when sliding off objects or tiles ?

No as it is designed like this and it's mainly due to ping, hatchet is never where you see it.

Revealing ghost face behind walls is broken yes and it's exploited with stretched screen. And same for Oni of course. Every techs are exploits.

  • @my_name_jeff_69 said:

I see this more and more, people saying a Blight is exploiting when they have no idea what they're doing is just game mechanics?

For example, people who say the hug tech is an exploit, I see it a lot surprisingly, this is just abusing collision in the game, it's not an exploit. This is like saying a Billy who can curve and not bump into a wall is exploiting for okaying around the collision of an object.

S flicks, Z flicks, moon rushes, and all these, are no exploits.

The only real exploit a Blight can do currently, is a lag flick.

"abusing collision in the game, not an exploit"

Abusing collision is the pure definition of exploiting 😂

"In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, speed or level design etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers"

So with Blight and Billy, high level players clearly abuse wall hitboxes to get speed and slide through most tiles. It's an exploit and don't tell me it was intended by the devs, don't forget that they buffed the nurse and will nerf Pinhead...

Exactly as 360 are exploits, it was clearly not intended and triggers the aim assist as during left/right fast movements but more as it is a complete turn.

  • So, i up this thread to know how it has been for you guys.

  • The game is literally at its worst place since Clown Chapter release.

SBMM is clearly the huge problem. Boon totems are just another reason but it's because it's way too strong against good survivors.

Anyway, i'm now playing killer without try hard, i even often let 2 survivors escape. So i'm slowly de-ranking and will leave the high level MMR crap away from me as a killer.

Survivors of this level won't find any decent killers pretty soon, only tunneler and camper. I guess they will have a terrible experience.

I will know as i also play survivors bt last days, SBMM has been off putting me with babies while two days ago i was matched with commando survivors.

BHVR has clearly tweaked the SBMM, unfortunately.

  • LT loops are really strong against trickster. Play with the windows to juke.

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

Eh... Hard to tell with my sample size. I guess I will keep an eye on it, but as a general rule of thumb, in my experience, developers do a lot of behind the scenes tweaking to mmr systems. So it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

SBMM was working perfectly, that's the game general balance that is a problem.

I don't understand why they tweak something that works to "patch" the global design that is broken. If they don't work on the balance, they can tweak anything they want, it won't bring anything good...

  • @Volcz said:

Yea I've noticed it too, made me take a break yesterday lol. Will see how it goes today.

Good luck, you will need some courage seeing your teammates throwing every trials :D

  • @chargernick85 said:

Solo Q was terrible last night.....Laughable even.

    ######### that's normal.

This evening, impossible to get a game with any competent survivor. I'm not asking for commandos survivors, but just decent ones, i can carry the game in chases if needed. But they all fall down in 10 seconds... They clearly changed something to please the killers.

I mean i understand as the killer gameplay was unbearable but tweaking a MM system to match noobies with pros to balance the game is not called balance.

What is the concept they don't understand in "balancing the game around high skill" ?

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Something strange happened with the reset. Killer games have been super easy.

I have the feel they tweaked it without saying anything. I'm now matched with some pros and noobies mixed together. Of course, the noobies are throwing all the games now 😂

And queue times have never been so long as a survivor.

  • @Wampa1 said:

Yep MMR has a lot to answer for,I’ve posted this before but worth putting it up again.I have insider information on how the system works.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/K1K4XBDDX7MS/d42b7255-1fbc-42f0-9aaf-ad6a81fbb92e.gif

On how the system doesn't work cause it's total garbage for killers.

The system is so garbage that my 10 hours nurse end up being matched against full squad of 4000 hours surv. Why ? Because i have won my last 8 games against barely average survivors.

But well, honestly, give me one thing that BHVR implemented and was good ?

    • servers should have been the best of the world = they are terrible, ping fluctuates all the way everytime
    • MMR should give fair trials = everything is unfair
    • they promised to fix performance issues 6 months ago = never fixed
    • they aim for bringing more balance to the game = they bring boons and MMR
    • they brought crossplay to increase the playerbase = they mixed two communities that clearly have a huge huge skill level disparity
    • they buffed the nurse and nerfed Pinhead
    • update the game with a huge breach allowing IP leaks

All this in 2 years, maybe 3...

DbD has been a game with constant complaints for years now. I have never seen a game with so many complaints. Maybe R6S before the Operation health but still it was not so much on so many subjects...

  • @coolmacc said:

Boons are only used to give survivors and edge survivors have to worry about doing 5 gens, looping, unhooking, healing looking for hexes, doing 5 totems for noed, thinking about killers perk, and also having a good perk load out

Killer has to worry about defending 7 gens, looping, hooking, injuring survivors, looking for boons, breaking pallets, breaking doors, defending the exits, thinking about the 4 survivors' perks and also having a good perk loadout. And the killer is alone to do so.

Survivors have less objectives and they are 4.

Now do you see the problem ? Can you stop to see things only through your small little selfish survivor PoV ?

  • @Tranquil_Blue said:

For the people who are having a horrible time playing killer right now: does it simply mean that you don't enjoy playing at a (presumably) high MMR? The new system is simple enough that you can easily lower your MMR (yes, it will take time if you have a very high MMR, but still...), so why do you want to keep playing at a high MMR? It seems like self-torture for no reason. I guarantee you could get your MMR down to a point where you have much more fun matches, while still keeping it interesting.

If you are good and play normally, at start the MM will give you babies survivors, you will 4k, then you will get average survivors, you will still 4k most of the time as they are not efficient enough to do gens, saves etc... and so, you will end up at high MMR, getting reckt.

You will hover at high MMR, the lowest of high MMR but you will still face unbeatable survivors...then you will go back to the high average MMR where you will again 3k/4k to go back to high MMR.

So your experience will be trials where you get 3 to 4k easily and trials where you cannot win.

It's not fun in both cases.

    Rising, okay...

Played for 20 mins as killer tonight and left to play survivor which I did for 30 mins.Left killer as it is so frustrating, then left as survivor as was to boring. The game is totally imbalanced, never played as a 4 k killer or expecting to survive.I was happy with a fair balanced game that lasted more than 5 mins and loved the challenge.Played this game since its release on both PC and console and really loved it despite some of its gameplay issues, but c’mon BHVR get it together the game is absolutely rotten and no fun to play as killer and boring and repetitive as survivor. If something is not done soon this game will be a dead duck soon.

    ,.

Game is already pretty much dead.

60k players during the evening, 10 minutes queue as a survivor and once you find a killer, it's a noobie.

All good killers have left the boat. It's a matter of a few months now.

Try harder next time and hope they get better and learn what they did wrong. Probably staying in chases longer then they should have instead of pressuring gens, or maybe a different load out or different killer.

We fall down so we can get up again and learn by our mistakes. Remember the two benefits of failure. First, if you do fail, you learn what doesn't work, and second, the failure gives you the opportunity to try a new approach.

Or to put another way, if you are beat then you are beat, take the chase points, pallet break points and try on the next game. You don't have to win every game.

Or maybe you should start playing killer and then come back here to explain us how you can pressure gens on 4 survivors while you are solo, and that everything is done to make it easy for survivors.

You cannot end a chase in less than 1 minute without the nurse.

It's not about mistakes, it's about 15 pallets on strong loops, 5 windows, the Shack and sometimes 1 semi-infinite.

Ask BHVR for better balance and you won't be face camped once killers will be able to have a fair game.

If you are camped then you are camped, take the struggle points and try to not be caught next game 😆. You don't have to escape every game.

  • Bored as hell.

    Killer is impossible.

    Survivor is too easy.

SBMM and boons ruined this game.

Queue times are extremely long as a survivor.

Matchmaking is sometimes a broken mess, matching 50 hours survivors with 3k hours one... crazy.

And BHVR devs seem happy about it while everything i see is complaints everywhere, here, on reddit and in my friendlist.

  • @naughtylittlekiller said:

The wait times to even get into a game are getting slower & slower for survivors. Why do you think that is? This game favors survivors more than killers now, but without killers, this game isn't playable.

There was a time I complained my ass off about OP killers, but definitely haven't in a while. Especially not now. That boone totem has changed the game. Killers can't keep the pressure anymore. I've seen people place multiple Boones in a game. Hell I've even seen 2-3 players placing Boones at the same time. I can't tell you how many 4k surviving wins I've been in lately. It shouldn't be this easy. Where's the challenge?

I've been trying killer just to see how strong it is & it's very strong. Little to know scratch marks, people off the hook being healed within 20 seconds, people healing mid chase, all while some commit hard to gens. You can go waste your time snuffing all the totems placed, but why would you want to while gens are popping left & right. They'll just place another right after you snuff it out.

The gen rush mixed with the constant healing is insane. It's actually too easy to survive now. Unless you go against noob survivors or people with no communication, you don't stand a chance. Anybody saying otherwise just loves it being easy.

Queue times are every day longer when i play survivor. It's incredible, there are a few killers left and soon there will be none.

I should check in my old comments but i have predicted that DbD would be pretty much dead by the end of the year in its current state.

Queue times are so long & killer gameplay is so impossible that i will soon stop to play completely.

  • Can you actually disable RPD now ? It's a ######### maze, it's a pain in the ass to play on this garbage map.

That map has nothing to do in DbD.

    • Impossible to find gens
    • Impossible to then find the doors
    • Corridors everywhere with 1000 rooms, you are lost the entire time

It's impossible to find your way there to do anything.

The whole community has complained about it but it is still here... When will you listen anything ? What is the point to do PTB & surveys while you never listen to us ?

Its not fair to say that Nurse is the only killer doing well at high MMR and everyone else sucks. Its not fair and it has no validity. I constantly rank up, pip and or double pip with all my killers Pig included. Everyones different and that statement isnt true. Im alone proof that it isnt true. Btw most streamers dont do what they need to do to win and want to entertain they're followers. Sometimes streamers are taking other build request as well so you cant just go off how "bad" they do 1 game. Everyone has a bad game no matter what killer you have except mastered Nurses

Pip means nothing anymore. You are two months late... And emblems are now called grades and have nothing to do with rank/MMR.

And sorry, didn't know you were the world champion, the golden survivor, better than streamers with 12k hours.

    Praise the lord 🧚‍♂️

If you do pretty good with many killers = you play at an average MMR. High MMR = trial is over in 8 minutes... you cannot do much.

  • @hiken said:

the game its in the worst state ever been for sure.

Yup, prior to MMR, losing as a survivor was okay, there was less tunnel/camp, you could get your 20/25k even when you died, game was fun, every survivors had a chase, some gens and some saves...

Now trials are way too short, nothing is happening... definitely not the same game as before.

Plague is definetly not weak at all even with survivors not cleansing. Try winning or watch how a Plague does with Thanatophobia and Dying Light or Pop. They definetly wont be doing bad like Clown or Ghostface consecutively. Plague is buffed this patch and she is not lower than A.

People dont think for themselves and are just repeating what others think or feel. Spirit is still top tier she's just not as dominant as before because you can hear her now. She's still good at what she does shes just not OP or broken. Still quite a strong killer! You cant say a killer is weak and then NOT bring up points to how they're weak like you just did with Spirit. Tell me why Spirit is low tier (which shes not) in your opinion! Tell me how a top 3 killer goes all the way down to D or F tier like your saying from a few minor nerfs.

Hag is great period. Dont get it twisted, she does body newcomers more easily but she also wrecks experienced survivors as well, depends on add-ons, perks and her approach. Hag is best with Frankilins Demise and MYC so tell me why Hag is not good again

Well, all Plague i have faced, some were killer main streamers, still lost the trial with 3 to 4 escapes...

Same for Spirit, but i see he rarely. She is not strong anymore, but sure, still better than a Ghost Face...

Told you why hag is trash, because if you have 4 survivors knowing how to disable her traps without being hit, she is weak.

The only killer doing well at high MMR is the nurse... all other killers are trash getting between 0 and 2k and well, when they tunnel.

Make no sense what you wrote. Reads like "killer hit me ones and leave me alone" so I can heal on a boon totem. Makes really no sense for me.

And on mother's dwelling are boons in you're eyes ok because it's a bigger map?

    Make really no sense.

If you think it's broken, it's ok. In my 3K hours solo Surv experience I really can't say "it's OP"

Maybe in a SWF group for sure but my solo experience says something else.

Makes no sense cause you have no experience at all as a killer. And in your 3k hours xp you might start to learn the basics mechanics and timings...

    I explain you :

You are in chase, the surv #1 is injured, a healthy surv #2 comes to take a protect hit, he/she has a speed boost and you are stunned for 3 seconds, now you have two choices :

    • follow surv #1, he/she is 12 meters away you need 20 seconds to catch up
    • follow surv #2, he/she is 18 meters away, you need 30 seconds to catch up

By the time, both will be at a strong loop, and after some time surv#1 or surv#2 will be healed and be able to take another hit thanks to the boon totems. It already worked great before CoH, now it's even stronger.

You don't know this ? With 3k hours ? Great...

And check my other threads where i put all the results of my soloQ trials... I don't know what is your experience as a soloQ player but problem is on your side if you find the survivor gameplay balanced cause on my side, i pubstomp pretty much all killers.

    Average # of hooks = 2,3

    Average # of kills = 0,67; kill rate = 16,75%

    Personal escape rate = 83%

I'd agree on PH, but his tunneling capability is the best in the game so I gotta give him that.

Demogorgon might just be bias lol.

Plague counters Boons completely and her Corrupt Purge is one of the best Antiloops in the game, baking able to hit over most loops

Spirit has MDR with DCB which make sher better than pre nerf Spirit (should probably get MDR nerfed next time they rebalance spirit again)

Blight is S tier because of his insane mobility and 1v1 (flicks are amazing)

Also Hag is under Blight, I accidentally put her over him

Plague is weak against survivors that never use the fountain. She is just a M1 killer even though you are always injured, looping her for 1 minute is not a big deal.

Blight is weak unless you exploit the high DPI play, which is an exploit.

Tried Spirit after the nerf, she is awful. Faced some as well, really easy to dodge.

And Hag is good against noobies but you can remove all the traps doing circles next tot them, she will TP and miss the hit.

This is my most recent tierlist, it's not that accurate since Boon: Unbreakable isn't fully in the game yet but I'm going to presume it'll be released to live as it currently is

Demo, PH, Plague and Spirit are clearly not tier A, especially at high MMR.

They are all really weak M1 killers. For me they are all tier C.

Blight is Tier A, not higher.

    Everything else i agree.

48 meters radius around the totem. So it's 2 circles with 24m radius each = almost 4000m2 total = almost half the map.

All killers that heavily rely on Hit'n'run strategy :

    • Demo
    • Clown
    • PH
    • Ceno
    • Blight
    • Legion
    • Pig
    • Freddy
    • Wraith
    • Spirit as well now...

All those killers are now useless with the boons as they are weak at looping = they need time to drop pallets and to break them = they need the survivors to loose time on healing = impossible with CoH = 2 hooks when both doors @99%.

As on its strength is far more situational then the other two and so they’re not equal on strength. And crawling to it would take so long someone else would probably get to you first unless there’s tenacity. It’s not an S tier perk.

Well situational when the totem area is 2000m2, i don't call this situational anymore, especially because there will be two totems per trials... it's around 4000m2, pretty much half the map...

Or they might have gotten killed in a swatting incident, considering the huge security violations happening at the moment.

    😂😂

Honestly, the game is unplayable with all killers beside Nurse.

You cannot do anything. Chases are way too long to prevent any gen rush. The first chase, seeing the amount of pallets/windows and semi-infinites, lasts at least 1 min 30+ with most killers, it's 3 or 4 gens done.

The game is in such a state that even if devs would remove all the pallets, so 0 pallet on the map, high MMR survivors would still win 50% of the time. Just holding W, some windows and some sneaky plays would be more than enough for them to do all 5 gens.

    😂

  • Saturday 30th Oct = 80k

    Saturday 6th Nov peak = 70k

    Saturday 13th Nov peak players = 60k

It means a lot... And i guess 70% are killer players leaving.

This is the 3rd game in a row someone in my game including me has died because they are being face camped by a killer and my team can't do anything about it. Maybe change it so if a killer is within a certain distance of the hook the time is slowed or something to prevent killers from being able to just sit there and camp 2 or 3 kills.

End of the second chase, 4 gens are done, killer has 2 hooks. What can he/she do ?

    Explain us =)

I can get 4Ks, if your pro killer has trouble getting 4Ks the level of play in Germany must be abyssmal.

Otzdarva can do 50 4k kill streak, what are you talking about. He can crush any team if he wants to.

Nope all Otz 50 4k streaks were done prior to MMR, what are you talking about ?

Otz is now tunneling and camping saves like crazy to win his games lol... You should look at him more. I have stopped to look at his streams as his gameplay is garbage now.

And he is playing more and more survivors.

    https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1194068895?filter=archives&sort=time

    Spirit = 2K

    Spirit = 0K

    Spirit = 2 DC

    Nemesis = 4K

    Plague = DC

    Larry = 0K

    https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1193181253?filter=archives&sort=time

    Larry = DC

    Trapper = 2K

    Trapper = 4K

    Nemesis = 4K

    Trapper = 4K

    PH = 2K

    Trapper = DC

    Spirit = DC

    Spirit = 0K

Yes, he is clearly winning all his trials, you are really objective here. Last streams prior to PTB he won 4 games out of 10 (DC removed). Not even half the trials lol.

And he is so toxic and hard tunneling that he has 33% DC which is really huge. I never have any DC, it's extremely rare.

You don't know how MMR works. Nobody knows how MMR works. I bet even BHVR doesn't know how MMR works.

That is a giant ass-pull. Killers who have "high MMR" would be extremely good and get 4Ks most of the time. Yet I get a mixed batch of great 4K-quality killers and newb killers who can't end a chase if I stood still right in front of them. Back to back. There is no way that reconciles with your theory. There is no way that my MMR fluctuates so wildly that in between matches of the same very fast queue time, I will get a high-MMR killer and a low-MMR killer back to back.

However MMR works (if MMR even exists, frankly I doubt it) it doesn't work the way you describe.

W know it, they explained it during a stream lol.

    Update yourself.

    • there is a soft cap, players above this cap can be matched with lower MMR players depending the playing population
    • As a survivor you die = loose MMR, you escape = win MMR
    • As a killer : each kills give a positive MMR, each escape gives a negative MMR
    • Hatch escapes don't count at all and = 0 MMR for both sides

Your MMR does not fluctuate, it gives you the nearest opponent available to shorten queue times. If the nearest opponent is at 50% of your MMR, you will still face this killer.

I bet you're the type that runs Tinker Undying Ruin BBQ Blight.

Sorry, I have zero sympathy. Killers can't handle it now that they're the ones who need to start hunting totems down.

There is a huge difference being a solo killer having to hunt for 2 CoH during the whole game as they re-pop all the time and 4 survivors looking for 1 or 2 hex totems that are gone forever.

Let's the devs rework Devour Hope like every time the totem is cleansed, it will reappear somewhere else 20 seconds later. We will see what's your reaction :).

I can't handle new survivor mains that always think they know everything better than ppl with 2k hours on both sides.

If you find CoH balanced, it means you are a terrible DbD player and i'm pretty sure even abusing Meta perks you are still unable to escape on a regular basis.

Let me tell you, i escape 70%+ of the time in soloQ, most killers i face are doing 4,7 hooks average and for you it is balanced ?

Problem is clearly on your side.

And the high skill killer population is draining, thus, high skilled survivors are matched with lower, sometimes way lower skill level killers, they get stomped hardly, it's hugely concerning. If it continues like this, in 2 months there won't be any killer left.

And i'm pretty sure one of the next boon they will create is a 2000m2 area prove thyself with 30% increase speed... it will be a huge joke.

  • @DieGräfin said:

I don't think the boons are OP. You need to find first a totem. And that tooks sometimes a long time. So not really efficient on gens. The extra heal is cool but I really don't think is broken and OP.

When i see survivors saying "first you need to find a totem" when all totem spawns are generic is a joke. How many hours do you guys have ?

Exactly the same kind of players saying someone pre-shooting a common spot on Valorant is a cheater. No he is not a cheater, you just stick your head to a common super well known spot...

It's annoying. They come, take a protective hit, and then disappear again. 10 seconds later they stand in front of you again, fully healed. I now always take forced penance with me. That gives me at least a little time...

"just do boons" funny ... Had 4 survs with boons today. Now please someone explain to me how I should proceed against it? While everyone is repairing gens, I'm supposed to hunt totems?

Survs don't need deadhard or other exhausting perks. CoH + lucky break + iron will ... Not even nurses calling counters that when shadowstep is there...

Yes, moreover they were good survivors, they have played well as i did but there was nothing i could do.

They were heavily carried with boons, DH, Lithe etc... Without CoH, i would have got 2k sure, maybe 3k.

I had to take a hard break from this game for a while, and just watching what goes on, honestly makes me not want to come back sometimes.

I get on look at my characters and decide, nah. Pretty regularly. I want to like the game more. But it lacks what it had even a year or 2 ago. The vibe has been off for a while.

Personally I think The Clown's patch/chapter was one of the best times to play.

Dunno man, sometimes it's time to move on.

Especially when they keep messing with your favorite performing as expected killers :(

I agree. I have often say to my mate that the game was perfect after the Clown Patch release and that BHVR should have let it untouched from there.

It needs to be worthwhile for how long it takes to set it up.

Remember killers don't have to setup their HEXs.

Either you clearly have never understand any DbD mechanics and then you are the worst player i have met at this game.

Either you are just a troll.

The effects are weak and then killer can remove it again.

Effect is weak ? Being able to heal in 5 seconds and to infinitely replace it in 14 seconds is weak ? And when you have 1 boon on both sides of the map then what, do you hunt boons and once you snuff the second, the first one is back again.

CoH is better and more useful than any other surv perks, what are you talking about ?

  • @Junylar said:

    Just do the bones.

Don't want to be hit by Unbreakable - don't slug.

    Problem solved.

2 CoH, one on one side of the map and the other one on the other side. So you snuff one, go for the other, snuff it and the first one is back again. So how do you take care of boons ? Especially when it takes 14 seconds to bless ? If it needed 50 seconds to bless okay but 14 seconds is nothing for 4 survivors, especially when they gain ton of time healing in there.

  • "Boon totems are so weak they will never replace the old Meta"

"Boon totems are not game changers"

"Boon totems are easy to deal with"

All those idiots on this forum that know it's OP and abuse them in all trials.

    image.png

2 CoH in the game, there is a healing totem 100% of the time on the map. Impossible to hit anyone and run, they are all healed in 5 seconds (with the extra medkit).

I mean come on. They all came to take protection hits and ran to a boon and they were healed in 5 ######### seconds.

But yes, everything is okay, being fully healed in 5 seconds while the killer needed 30/45 seconds to get a hit is perfectly fine and fair.

All trials are like this, every ######### trials at high MMR.

But no worry, BHVR will now bring a boon totem doing like unbreakable but an infinite amount of time and for the whole team. Once again it's okay, it is situational.

Survivors are so confident that they don't even feel the need to cleanse the plaything totems...

  • @Triplehoo said:

Pinhead. Hands down. Every time I hear at the beginning of the match that I have to go against him, I give up entirely. I don't care anymore about the match.

Take the box and resolve it when someone is downed.

Without the box, Cenobite is terribly weak.
