  • I played a Clown game for a daily recently. One 2 man swf, 2 solos (as later confirmed after post game messaging). I tunneled the rank 14 Claudette in the swf out of the match, because if I hadn't, it would have been an easy game over. With two gens left and three survivors left, I ended up with a 4k. I apologized for tunneling Claud, but they understood where I was coming from as far as map pressure and structure of the game was involved. Sometimes, but rarely, tunneling, camping, proxying, etc. is necessary. That doesn't mean every red rank killer plays every game that way.

  • Also, @gatsby my girlfriend's favorite book is The Great Gatsby, and I believe this is the second time we have conversed on forums. You are her favorite forum member. lol

  • @gatsby said:

Honestly, it seems sort of weak. Decisive Strike can be powerful, but it also doesn't get used in plenty of games. And we're gonna live forever is mostly just for bloodpoints. Aftercare is somewhere in between it usually gets use but its inconsistent.

I bet you have a lot of games where the only perk that gets much value is Dead Hard.

My solo Survivor build is Dead Hard, Blood Pact, Kindred and Spine Chill. And I feel like every perk helps contribute during my games

    Edit: spelling

DS is situational for sure, but when it procs, it's a lot of value, similar to Unbreakable.

WGLF gives me the bloodpoints, obviously, but in slug situations I have picked up all three slugged survivors by myself before, which makes it a powerful tool against slugging.

Aftercare is especially useful after the above situation. I pick up all three other survivors and know exactly where they are and what they are doing.

If you are using Blood Pact in a solo queue, you are wasting a perk slot. There is almost no use to having a haste effect when you're close to another survivor. If survivors are grouped together, they are not being efficient. Aftercare is my substitution for Kindred because I believe one aura 100% of the time is stronger than all auras for 20 or 30 seconds. I don't bother with Spine Chill unless I'm running a vault build because I always pay attention to my surroundings. I can count on my fingers (and probably my toes) how many times in three thousand hours that I have been caught off guard by a stealth killer.

  • @Klakky said:

Dead hard is weak very few survivors can get it past me, I always consider everyone has it so I get up close unless they used it then I chased them and lunge while they on cool down.

Wglf is great against slugging for 2+ people in queue so one can take agro and the other one picks up but it's almost as useless as BBQ n chilli, it's just for bloodpoints.

I would suggest running kindred so everyone can see each other that way all your teamates can see themselves crouching all 3 trying to "save" you and maybe one will do a gen.

But there's a lot of perks I'd suggest u switch it up every now and then.

I usually use BT wglf (that perk i can't remember the name of 100% healing speed when unhooking) that with wglf worked really great at one point when I played with 3 teamates slugged and got them all super fast, and dead hard but I switched few months ago, still occasionally use dead hard but I get hit when I use it every time and a second or two later my exausted disappears like I never used it.

Now I use healing claudette, (100% speed when unhooking) self care, empathy, and botany knowledge or kindred, I prefer kindred but teamates usually still all go for rescues so I rather focus on gen unless I'm close

U just gotta experiment there's a lot of good perks. I sometimes use Nancy and her fixated and locker healing perk just to mix it up.

Your perks overall are not gonna help against the killer much if u can't loop him. Sadly I can't loop since they turned on validation always get laggy killers that slice me trough window 2-3 seconds after I vaulted. Used to be pretty decent, my max was 12min loop I believe( and yes 1 teamates left hiding in corner waiting for hatch instead of doing the gen next to him on other side of the map) probably same reason my dead hard almost never works, I didn't really use it alot before but it always saved me when I did.

    I miss those times

I use Dead Hard to extend loops, not to avoid a hit while in a dead zone. Using DH at simple pallet loops helps a little bit. Using DH to reach the window at a jungle gym/large structure helps a LOT.

In the majority of my games other survivors get slugged. Using WGLF makes it much easier to pick slugs up and negate killer pressure.

I usually switch Aftercare for BT if I'm playing in a SWF, but I think making safe saves and getting the cross map info on solos is more valuable, especially if they can do gens.

I am a fairly decent looper, so I think only having one chase perk works fine for me. The build I'm running is for information, bloodpoints, and situational awareness. I've had some really good success with it recently.

To everyone suggesting Kindred as opposed to Aftercare, I find Aftercare to be more helpful. Kindred only helps when someone is hooked. Aftercare lets me know where my teammates are 100% of the time. I just had a game where I knew where 2 teammates were and it basically changed the game from a killer 4k to a 3 man escape. Using WGLF and Aftercare is an underrated setup imo. Use WGLF to pick up slugs and get their location, or unhook for information. I spent over half of my last match knowing exactly where all of my teammates were and what they were doing in a solo queue lobby with no comms. That's pretty strong, if you ask me.

  • I play with a couple guys that only have 100ish hours or less and they all can't loop for anything. I'm no god looper, but I generally hold my own in red ranks. Last night I started running OoO and told my baby teammates to stay on gens because we lost like 6 games in a row because they couldn't loop. After I put on OoO, we won like four games in a row, and two of them against red rank killers. OoO definitely needs the nerf.

  • Most people dont play killer once they start matching up with below-average (as opposed to newbie/trash) survivors. The game is obviously survivor sided. So when people just want to have fun, why bother playing the more stressful role?

  • On PS4 I played a full rank reset from Rank 10 to Rank 1 with only Nurse at one point. Not worth it. Just end your torture now.

  • PS4 here. One time with old rank reset I went from rank 10 to rank 1 with only Nurse. Worst two or three weeks of my gaming life, but damn, did some of those victories feel good. Some days it just clicked with me and I massacred teams. Other days I couldn't hit anything or anyone. I rarely use her now.

  • Sometimes I run a fun healing build with Botany Knowledge, Desperate Measures, Empathy, Aftercare, and a medkit.

Tank build is Mettle of Man, Breakout, WGLF, and Dead Hard.

End game only build is Adrenaline, Hope, Wake Up, and No One Left Behind.

Totem hunting/meme build is Detective's Hunch, Inner Strength, Q&Q, and Head On.

  • Edited for clarity

Unfortunately, the first perk would be way too strong for OoO users that are even halfway decent in chase. With all resources available at the beginning of a match, OoO users could easily find the killer immediately while teammates slam out gens. Even if you set the minimum gens needed for the perk to activate to 3 gens, that can be the first chase of the game. Having to hit that first survivor 3 times for your first down with two gens left is basically a lost game at that point.

As the other person said, I think Exhilarated should have either a prerequisite OR cause exhaustion, not both. I also think the values are a bit too high, particularly for gens. Maybe if you remove gen speed it becomes a balanced perk. I also think it would be strong but not OP if the unhook prerequisite stayed, because if you make sure the killer follows you, that 20% vault speed is great in chase.

Third perk is a solid perk. Not easily abused by high level chase survivors or SWFs, but still easily activated and useful, especially if you're trying to draw a killer away from a particular gen.

I mean honestly Bubba is plenty strong to play into a meta SWF. I see too many Bubbas who never saw when the play is to literally saw at every loop. With purple chili + bamboozle he can saw you though basically every loop in the game.

As a backup you probably still could have just camped out a 2k which is a tie game.

I was using brown addons and the only "meta" perk I used was Infectious (unless BBQ is considered meta) because it was a daily challenge. And it was painfully obvious at the beginning of the match that the team was abusing the "get downed at the bottom of the preschool so it's impossible to get hooked because we brought two petrified oaks" tech.

I was going for a daily. This team wanted to abuse a killer and make them miserable. So I just camped out a 2k, as per your second suggestion.

Don't have to justify yourself. As you said, they made it clear they didn't want a normal game.

I just figured someone would come in and be like "hOw CaN yOu CoMpLaIn AbOuT tHeM wHeN yOu FaCeCaMpEd WiTh BuBbA??" lol

  • Also, I was only playing Bubba for a daily, not even to sweat or be memey or with the intention of facecamping.

  • @Kirkylad said:

Sadly it be like that sometimes, you'll probably end up against some uncoordinated solos next match. Just the luck of the draw tbh.

I was playing Bubba. Facecamped the first survivor I downed. Got a second kill during EGC. I figured since they didn't want to play a normal game, I wouldn't give them a normal game.

  • I play 50/50 killer/survivor, and I can say that I'm never toxic to a player unless they are toxic to me first.

But I also have days where I go against toxic players almost every match. Sometimes the dice just don't roll your way, friend.

I'm sorry you have had a frustrating day and a frustrating evening playing this wonderful game, but tomorrow is a new day, and I hope it is amazing for you!

Honestly, i'd be one of those people who'd Urban evasion away because I dont got time to save you again. I'd also be one of those people to watch in the distance. I'm highkey guilty of that but what I wouldn't do is complain about it. However 90% of the time I leave the guy on the hook and do gens because if we dont, that's an easy way to a gen 3 which is disgustingly common now that high ranker have to be forced to play with low ranks.

At this point, I've learned a lesson and that lesson is that "Go fix what you can't save." Meaning if I can't save the person on the hook cause two survivors are forcing the killer to camp then imma to do my job and get us from getting gen 3'd. I also live by the EFTS rule (Everyone for themselves.) Teamwork is fine but if your teammates are idiots, leave em. Let them burn. I dont got time to play with stupidity.

I mostly agree with you. I don't agree with Urban Evading away after an unhook, because I think if a rescuer can't get a heal off, they should be the one taking aggro. The person you saved has already been hooked. Buy some time for them to heal/do gens so they can do the same for you later.

But I DO agree with the, if these guys are gonna be idiots I'm gonna pound gens and hopefully find hatch before the last person dies, mentality.

  • I saw my first (for sure) hacker in over 3k hours just a few days ago. I have had suspicions before, but I'll never say someone is hacking unless I KNOW.

I was playing a solo queue survivor game against a Clown. Clown is having a hard time downing people, doesn't get many hooks, and the exits are opening before we know it. Then this flashlight scroll spamming, teabagging, Dwight (I believe) got downed in front of the gate. Clown picks him up, and immediately gets hit with DS. Weird, I don't remember this guy going down, but maybe I just missed it because I was rushing the last gen.

Then Dwight gets downed again... and stuns the Clown with "DS" again... and again... and again... all while flashlight spamming and teabagging. I teabag back at the hacker and bodyblock him while he's trying to leave, trying to give this poor killer a chance to hook him. After the other two survivors leave, the game freezes. As if I didn't already know, this just confirms my suspicions of hacking. Then he messages me, and I quote, "I froze the game. Was waiting for Dwight [other Dwight] to leave before doing it lol. Enjoy the penalty." This dude went out of his way to hack on PC, then got salty when I was trying to stop him, then hopped on his PS4 to message me to "enjoy the penalty."

In 3k+ hours I've never seen a hacker until then, much less one that is so spiteful and hateful. I wish I had this guy's Steam ID so I could report him and get him banned.

  • @EvilJoshy said:

You can always spot the people who only play one side. In the situations you listed. Anyone who has a decent amount of time into killer would do the same because it's the best option for your objective. Anytime I get tunneled, moried, camped or whatever. Before I get bitchy I ask myself "In the same situation wouldn't I have done the same?"

I try to do the same thing. If I'm getting camped on my first hook when all the gens are done and the killer hasn't killed anyone I don't complain. When I get unhooked and my rescuer Urban Evades away and the killer can only find me, I don't get mad at the killer when I get "tunneled." There are so many scenarios where the killer's hands are tied, and only those who ONLY play one role are going to complain about those problems.

No, it is a game of direct seconds, not seconds randomly scrounged from various indirect sources that barely even impact the game due to other indirect factors. Saving a teeny bit of time cleansing totems, unhooking teammates, or personally getting healed a little faster by a teammate rarely correlates to faster gen speeds and more escapes, and is rarely worth a perk slot.

You mean like the multiple "direct second" scenarios that I previously listed? Of course cleansing a random dull totem a 2 seconds faster isn't going to affect the outcome of the game, but there are plenty of scenarios that Leader helps with that WILL help.

Personally, I don't run Leader. I don't think I ever have except for when I first started or for a memey "help your teammates" build. But when I see someone else running it in a game I'm in, I genuinely get excited. I can unhook in front of a killer faster without getting grabbed, I can heal my teammates faster, allowing them an extra 3 seconds on gens, I can open an exit gate faster for that last survivor that is running the killer and PRAYING that someone is opening the gate they are running towards. There are so many "direct second" scenarios that you are choosing to ignore simply because you wrote the perk off as useless because DS, Unbreakable, Soul Guard, and BT exist. lol

  • @MadLordJack said:

None of that is particularly useful, though. And not because it isn't flashy, but because its all stuff that gets done anyway without Leader helping in any real sense. Shaving a few seconds here and there sounds all well an good, but it's only a few seconds if you add up the sum total across the entire trial, because unless you're throwing to get Leader "value" you shouldn't be sticking together too much.

DBD is a game of seconds, making the perk extremely valuable. There's a reason survivors will often finish a gen in a killer's face at the expense of getting injured or even downed; because that gen might not ever get finished otherwise, due to Ruin, Pop, Surge, etc. I've seen survivors get heals off RIGHT as a killer is lunging, which goes from a down to a 30 second chase where two gens get finished. Popping that NOED totem right before someone gets hit. Opening the exit gate just as the killer is approaching. In a game of seconds, you can't say that shaving off 30+ seconds of action speed each game is not valuable.

  • I find myself running Decisive Strike less and less as a survivor. Even for all it's great uses, offensively and defensively, I feel it's overpowered, but not applicable in every match. I've started running WGLF a lot, because I can get an extra 50-100% extra BP almost every match with it. I tend to be altruistic, and not just with hook saves, but with taking protection hits, especially if someone is getting tunneled.

  • @Gravnos said:

That's one of the biggest issues in this game. I've never played another game where I have to go so far out of my way to make sure the other side has an enjoyable game.

When playing killer it's just more effective to go for tunneling and slugs if your goal is to win. Then again we still, 4 years after launch, don't know what a 'Win' is.

I personally go by hook count so it helps me not tunnel, but truth be told the best way to make sure no survivor leaves a match is to play like a slugger/tunneler/camper and make sure they don't enjoy the match. It's a shame.

How many other games have you played that are, specifically, a 4v1? Also, how many other games, speficially, have you played where only five players are matched in a lobby? Also, how many games, specifically, have you played where a total of 5 people are in the lobby, all (mostly) the same skill level, and all play the game for fun as opposed to competitively?

This game is essentially a party game. If you ruin someone's Mario Kart game by being an ######### and BMing, you're an #########. If you simply outskill them, that's a completely different scenario. I'm a 50/50 killer/survivor with 3k hours, and I never go out of my way to make someone's game miserable unless they do it first.

Obviously everybody wants to win, but camping and tunneling is exactly what turns people away from this game.

  • I broke one pallet with Spirit, so I figured if I played Trapper they would HAVE to drop more pallets. I was wrong, I guess. lol

  • @RamblinRango said:

Good survivors will loop around a safe pallet a couple times before dropping it, waste as much time as possible

I'm aware of that, but when I can 3k or 4k with 3 pallets being dropped all game, that's just funky.

  • Imo the only sounds cues that need to be removed/reworked are Demo's portal noise (eliminate it), Pig's ambush roar (make her roar AS she is attacking, not before), Clown's vault (why?), and Hillbilly's roar (again, why?)

Sound is just as important to survivors as it is to killers, so if you just straight up eliminate killer sound queues, that gives killers an upper hand that is unnecessary. And I'm saying this as a former killer main, now 50/50 player.

  • @Warcrafter4 said:

Reading your post it sounds less like the killer doing something wrong other then over commiting to a chase and more you're having bad teammates in those games.

Solo que sucks but don't blame the killer for your team sucking.

I can't really say I had bad teammates, at least in the sense of completing gens. As far as totems, taking aggro, lasting in a chase themselves, or just positioning themselves correctly to help the person that ran the killer for most of the match, they weren't the best. But at least most of my teammates were pumping those gens like you're supposed to do when someone is getting chased.

Killers were definitely overcommitting, and I've played this game long enough to know within 2 or 3 minutes whether someone is a NOED gamer or not. Unfortunately, my suspicions were proved right multiple times last night.

  • @Creepa99 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/201998/hard-tunneled-three-times-in-five-matches

To wait a sec was you playing against me? I was running Deathslinger, you and one other person I kept hooking because the fourth person was hiding and my obsession kept saving you but I was saving up my STBFL tokens, you kept messaging me on Xbox and being salty? If not then sorry but there were these people last night being salty as all hell I tunneled when it was their teammates fault for never coming by me. Whoever I was "tunneling" kept on running towards me literally just asking for it.

Ironically, the only Deathslinger I went against last night was the most fair killer, and he COMPLETELY caught me off guard with his Iridescent Coin addon. First time I had been a victim of it. lol. But no, I don't play on Xbox, I play on PS4, so it definitely was not you because it would be impossible for me to message you.

  • @Phaeris said:

So you're saying that whilst you were being chased, the other survivors were all just doing gens instead of trying to help you.

In fact in all your scenarios you seem to do all the gens, and the killer only gets people at the very end due to noed. If he didn't have noed what would the outcome be for him. Probably zero kills. you sound like someone who never plays killer.

No, what I'm saying is that I was running the killer for an extended amount of time, going down, and then getting soft and/or hard camped (depending on which match I'm mentioning), and then getting unhooked with no BT or heals, and then the killer purposefully ignored everyone else to chase me down again. As I stated at the beginning, I was only complaining a little bit, because I am a team player and don't care about dying if the rest of my team escapes. But it gets frustrating when I have 9k or 10k points per match for the only few games that I played in a day because I was relentlessly tunneled and chased for literally the entire trial.

On the basis that I "don't play killer," I have 3k hours and was a killer main for my first 800ish hours before moving to my current 50/50 split. Hence the reason I typically don't run DS, considering I know how overbearing it can be when there are multiple survivors running it.

  • @MrLimonka said:

That's why it's necessary to run DS. If you also get slugged - run Unbreakable. This perk combo always works perfectly in these kinds of situations

I ran DS one match but tried to save it for third hook because 4 gens were done. Then, naturally, I died on second hook because NOED.

I don't like running DS if I can avoid it, personally, but I might have to stick it on for the foreseeable future if this keeps happening.

Oh, thank you! I was trying to use it to track people/gens.

No problem. As a survivor I one time ran into a Spirit running Tinkerer (before Tinkerer got buffed but after Prayer Beads had been nerfed) and they were baffled that I knew she was coming for me until I pointed out that I could still hear her phasing. So I just didn't want someone else thinking the same way.

  • I haven't seen someone mention this, but in case you didn't know, Tinkerer does NOT mute Spirit's phase noise.

  • Thanks, everyone! I haven't been as active on DBD as I have been the past two years, so I was trying to figure out what everyone else thought. I definitely noticed the effect during my killer games. I was convinced someone had We'll Make It one game, but it turns out two guys were just double healing with DM. I'll keep trying this out with some different perks.

  • Oh, and to make matters worse, this dude brought a map offering and STILL acted like this.

  • @humanbeing1704 said:

Killer main here, just realized how some of the Tome challenges can cultivate a bit of a...unfun play style for set periods of time while people try to complete the various challenges. Curious to see what other people think. Please try to be respectful to each other in the comments :)

Ahhh, so this is why I have been mercilessly tunneled in three out of my seven games tonight. lol

  • You should play fair because this is a game and people play it to have fun. Granted, sometimes I like going hardcore mode as killer. Bring OP addons and a pink mori and such. But those games are few and far between.

The only time I act "toxic" as a killer is if survivors act toxic first, and I always make sure I only "punish" individuals, not a team. I can't blame Meg because Claudette teabagged and clicked her flashlight 7492 times at me, etc.

If you're good enough as a killer, unless you go against a 4 man sweat squad with 10k+ hours, "toxic" survivors will usually start respecting you halfway through the trial, when they realize you can actually punish their arrogance.

  • As a PS4 killer and (95% of the time) solo queue survivor with almost 3k hours, I've noticed that everybody is still potatoes. Having said that, my first PC Nurse, Huntress, Deathslinger, and Pyramid Head that I went against were on a completely different level than their console counterparts. I've slowly gotten better at running and juking PC killers, which has made me an even better survivor against console killers. At the other end of that stick, I've now played three survivor games in a row where I've completed two solo gens, gotten an iridescent benevolent emblem, and been left to die on my first hook, all while having at least two cross platform players in my lobby (cannot confirm they were PC survivors). This makes me a better player, but also infuriates me when I can't get a single decent survivor lobby to finish these tomb challenges.

  • A well timed used of an exhaustion perk can turn a two minute chase into a five+ minute chase, especially if you can get to a good tile set up. I've had plenty of solo queue survivor games where I ran a killer long enough for three, four, even five gens to pop. Usually chases that long, for me, are attributed to an exhaustion perk.

I wouldn't say an exhaustion perk is necessary, but they definitely help extend chases (when used correctly), and therefore give your teammates more time to complete objectives, which gives all survivors a better chance to escape.

  • I've had this happen during two separate trials now. Once on Badham Preschool IV and once on Fractured Cowshed. Happened on probably six or seven of my hook attempts between the two games. It seems to occur when coming at the hook from an angle and spamming the "hook" hotkey.

  • I'm on base PS4 and have only played three matches so far, all of them as the Blight. I get random frame drops while using his power, but only occasionally. Everything else seems smoother, with the exception that frames almost always seem to drop when bloodlust activates.

I would not say that Autohaven is used because people want an easy game. If they want a Survivor-sided map they can burn Ormond or Haddonfield or Coldwind, hoping for Cowshed.

If someone burns stuff like Autohaven or MacMillan, it looks more like they want a normal Map and not end up on The Game or stuff like that.

    @Topic:

Cannot really confirm that Map Offerings are that common on PC. Maybe one out of 5 games, at best, has a Map Offering. More like 1 out of 10.

That's what I was thinking. If I get multiple games in a row on certain maps, specifically indoor maps, I'll burn an Autohaven or MacMillan map, just so the game is more balanced. But I played six games tonight (four as survivor, two as killer), and five times somebody brought a map offering. I'm just trying to understand the new meta. I just don't know if it's a PC meta or console players trying to even the playing field meta.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Don't know much about how often Map Offerings are used on Console, but this is pretty typical to PC.

Couple of days ago, I played Demo. I got Autohaven 2 times in the row without map offerings, then I got sent ot Autohaven 4 times in the row by people looking for easy game, little did they know I main demo... Let's just say it did not end well for them. Did I mention I got 3 more map offerings afterwards?

PC Environment is pretty darn toxic

Interesting. Sounds like it IS a PC thing then. I have never seen so many map offerings, ever, even when new maps get released. I guess it's just something I will need to get used to.

  • @kaeru said:

You mean you have rare map offerings before or you haven't them at all?

No, on console we get map offerings in the bloodweb, but people rarely use them. Usually just swf bringing Ormond or Haddonfield offerings. But I feel like I see a map offering every match now, even when it's 4 solo survivors. Autohaven, MacMillian, Crotus Prenn, everything. It's throwing me off. On console we usually just use bloodpoint offerings. lol

  • Beast of Prey just seems like a significantly less powerful version of the already niche Dark Devotion.

Other than that, I could get on board with most of these. Maybe swap rarities for Phantom Head and Infantry Belt.

What system do you use? I have a PS4 and I have an alt account with rank 20-17 for both, that never moves because I rarely play on it. If you purchase the DLC pack through the PS store (as opposed to just using cells in game), it applies to both accounts.

But don't you need PS Plus for both accounts? I don't want to waste more money just to try out a new killer every 3 months.

Unfortunately this game is very grindy. To get an exceptional loadout, you will need to get the unique perks for multiple characters. If you have only leveled Jake, I would say a good loadout would be Iron Will, Spine Chill, Lightweight, and Deja Vu. IW and LW are teachables from Jake, SC and DV are common perks for all survivors. IW and LW help you get away from the killer, SC will help you know if a stealth killer is near you, and DV will help a newer player locate generators quickly.

Yes. This would make the game so much more enjoyable for Survivors. I can't remember the last time I had to actually think for myself as Survivor.

Did OP mention something about how it would affect survivors enjoying the game? Because I didn't. Survivors have far less to think about during the course of the game as opposed to killers. Should killers get a notification with a survivor's perk loadout every time they see them? Should the killer automatically know who has Dead Hard or Sprint Burst or Borrowed Time or DS or Adrenaline or anything else? Because survivors are notified about perks that can change the outcome of a game, so why shouldn't killers get the same benefit? Killers already run a risk by running hex perks, considering they can be completely removed from the match. That risk grows exponentially when survivors get a prompt that screams "HEY LOOK AT THIS THING HERE!"

And before you try to complain about me being a salty killer main, I have over 2k hours and play both sides fairly evenly, but I've actually been playing more survivor recently.

  • I have a better idea. Stop giving survivors a glaring, "HEY YOU ARE BEING AFFECTED BY THIS" notification for everything. If a killer starts one shotting people, he has Devour Hope. If your healing takes longer, Sloppy Butcher. If your skillchecks seem faster, Lullaby. If a gen starts regressing when you leave it, Ruin. Make survivors use half their brain to understand the killer's loadout instead of just straight up telling them.

  • Survivor queues always take longer because more people in general want to play survivor. Playing killer right now is basically masochism. The fewer killers in queue, the longer the survivor queues take. The more survivors in queue, the faster a killer will find a game.
