Yes the crouching bugs the heck out of me. But here's why:

-Disconnects... Once crouching, ambushing, then picking them up. If they disconnect it bugs out the Crouching feature where your POV is equal as if you were standing. It is unknown if this means if you are standing to the survivor, but you still get the slowness from the crouch but if you "Stand" after that bug your speed is normal.

-Speed, Speed is key in DbD I'd say crouch should be 50% of a Survivors running speed. but even that may be too much.

-Detection Perks, Being silent is pointless if you will be found out sooner than you wanted. But, currently there's no way to fix this lol. Maybe a EXTREMELY Rare Addon that makes the Pig undetectable even with Perks? [Does not apply to Aura Perks]

    But good Feedback!

I've never heard of that dc bug for Pig. Sounds really odd.

The speed for crouching definitely needs to be looked at. She should have at least a little mobility while crouching.

What if Pig couldn't be detected by perks while she's crouching?

This would also affect OoO like the way you can't see Freddy unless you're asleep. You wouldn't be able to see her unless she's in normal stance.

  • I think that Pig's crouching needs some love.

I'd say increase the movement speed to the crouching (maybe to survivor running speed?) so she can stealth around a lot easier. Increase the duration of the Ambush to make short loops more dangerous. Removing the insidious screech gives survivors less time to react.

  • Clown and Freddy.

Clown, because it sucks to try and see through the gas and I get headaches from the effects after playing against him too much. Most are very jerky too. Also that exhaustion add-on. Makes me appreciate Nurse tbh.

Freddy just makes you hold m1 for even longer and makes games boring, especially when they just hard tunnel one person every game. The bright side to Freddy is that I know when to cleanse totems.

  • I think Legion has more potential to be more viable now that they're not in a broken state. Now that they're reworked it's time for them to receive some buffs imo.

Vault Speed needs to be reverted.

The stun should be reduced back to 3 or 3.5 seconds.

Making it to where you can use FF when it's halfway full would be nice too.

  • The thing about dlc character in a mulitplayer game like DbD is that people have to realized when they buy these dlcs, that these characters are prone to change in either positive ways or negative ways. They have a chance to become stronger (take Hag for example) or Freddy (Yikes).

  • Now that End Game Collapse is implemented are there future plans for perks and killer powers that affect it in different ways?

  • I want to think that they wanted to give Ghostface a semi-original design to match the darker tone of the game, kinda how they made Freddy's sweater black and red rather than green and red. The new design look really nice in my opinion at least, but it would be cool to have the iconic robes.

  • I got Jane from P1 to P3 level 30. Life's good

Dedicated servers will hopefully allow more active dodging. Keep in mind that hitboxes are broken for both sides

I'm aware. That's why I said the phantom hits. The chainsaw hits that were obviously suppose to hit but you end up hitting air behind a survivor instead. I wasn't sure what to call them.

  • Billy is probably one of the most balanced killers (without add-ons). They just need to fix phantom hits and revert the hitbox change a while ago. Getting hit through corners, trees, and far away from windows is very unpleasant. His charge add-ons need toned downed as well.

  • What if when you prestige a character it starts you off with a random half of the perks tier one on your character? And then you can get 3-4 perks on your bloodweb? The grind would be reduced but still be grindy enough.

  • Data for Plague's survival rate across ranks?

  • As of right now a lot of environmental sounds (injured survivors, breathing, footsteps) are bugged. She also makes a glass breaking sound at the moment when she enters her phase, which can really ruin a mindgame for the Spirit's side. There's a way to play around this I think? I haven't played killer in awhile so I can't say for sure.

What makes her really good is that she has potential to spread injuries pretty fast across survivors. Chase someone, hit them, pretend you're phasing towards the injured person running away and go for another person in the terror radius.

Her mindgame potential is strong. The survivor usually can't tell when the Spirit is phasing or just standing still. They're forced to react someway somehow. They can try to mindgame around the pallet or run away.

  • She's good... when sounds aren't bugged. *cries in Spirit* But for real she's very solid despite her bugs.

  • What if she had a corrupt fountain spawn base kit? Survivors not cleansing then consume that. It's a hit or miss type change. If you use it incorrectly then you won't get a strong start at the beginning.

  • Now that Deep Wound doesn't go down while mending and in the Terror Radius, have you considered mending to be a healing action that can be seen through Nurse's Calling?

  • Having perma Hope would be like perma NOED back in 2016. It would be too strong. I wouldn't mind it lasting for an extra minute though.

  • I loved the Hallowed Blight and Shattered Bloodline. Least favorite was the Curtain Call theme.

  • @Mister_xD said:

    no.

that way it would literally never activate.

NOED is a punishment for survivors who failed at their secondary objective. it can be prevented from activating at all, just by survivors cleansing the totems instead of genrushing like hell.

imo, NOED should light up any remaining totem instead of just one, to punish survivors who didnt give any ######### about totems and allow players who took down 3 or 4 to deal with the perk easier. we could also say it reveals all totem locations to all players.

that way it serves as a punishment to players who failed the objective and the ones that came close to fullfilling it wont have such a hard time taking it down.

Buffing NOED is not the way to go with this. Survivors don't have enough reasons to destroy dull totems. Survivors breaking totems for 1 out of how many perks in the game? NOED cushions killers for not playing aggressively enough to win by the time gates are powered. Like Sprint Burst cushions survivors that get found by the killer while hiding.

  • From what I've heard, EAC really only detects things in the pak files. If you change UI icons you "should" be okay. Don't take my word for it. I've been using custom icons on and off for awhile and haven't been banned for it.

  • Slugging is a much better strategy for killers. Some killers can't apply that pressure as well as others. It's one of the effective ways they can apply pressure better. Would you rather have slugging or camping and tunneling?

  • Hmmm, that would be pretty cool if those L-T pallet structures came back, but they shouldn't spawn as common as the other structures such as the jungle gym structures and long wall loops.

  • I was just going to say make it 2 hooks to unlock the mori. Not hook states, like you have to hook the survivor twice.

  • It's an okay perk for the most part. I enjoyed using it while leveling up my Spirit and it was pretty efficient. There's many other better perks to use though. I use Nurse's Calling, Sloppy Butcher, Ruin, and BBQ.

I think the fountain heal needs to be removed and some kind of extra penalty for staying broken to incentivize using the fountains. In tandem with this they can also increase the amount of puke needed to transition someone into broken. This actually incentivizes her to spread pressure with her plague rather than just tunneling into one guy which is what we have right now. It fits her more thematically and is more fun for both sides.

These changes I think would make her rank 1 viable but still not better than say Spirit and most killers and survivors alike generally consider Spirit as one of the most balanced killers while also being rank 1 viable, so I believe that's a good point to aim for.

Most rank 1's just ignore using fountains which means a very fast gen rush as without healing or going to use fountains she has zero map pressure. Yes now they are all broken and can be one shot, but between the vast amount of pallets available and zero time wasted on healing or going to fountains they have more than enough time to get the gates powered before even 3/4 of the pallets are used.

Now inversely sometime you get a group that does use the fountains. Now you have a discount huntress ability and a tiny bit of time wasted going to fountains, but once again with fountains healing you have no map pressure again which leads to fast gens. This is still a better scenario for you than the first, but not rank 1 viable great.

I honestly don't think she really has much upsides. Her Corrupted Puke if she actually gets it is easier to use than Huntresses but less powerful, that's about it. Having the survivors control if she gets her power isn't a good design idea.

Okay, what I got from this is that survivors need more incentive to actually cure themselves from the sickness. The pallet issue is more based on the amount of poorly designed maps such as Coldwind and Ormond. A lot of maps need reworks. How would you give survivors more reasons to cure? Action speed debuff? Hindered while vomiting?

"She's fine how she is right now." "she's around mid-high tier when played correctly"

These can't go in the same response as they are contradictory. If she's fine then she wouldn't be mid tier and if she's mid tier she isn't fine. Mid tier isn't rank 1 viable. That means you're only winning if the survivors are potatoes.

Let me ask you something, how do you think Plague could be improved on other than my movement speed proposition? What do you think her downsides and upsides are?

  • She's fine how she is right now. I'd just say give her 115% movement speed while holding Vile and 110% while holding Corrupt. Most survivors don't want to be injured with a 115% movement speed killer with Enduring and Spirit Fury. I personally think she's around mid-high tier when played correctly.

  • Kebabs sound really good right now.

    What you having for supper?

Why thank you! : D I have no idea tbh I usually just eat whatever I find in the kitchen. You?

  • I feel you dude. There's nothing I hate more than seeing my team Urban Immerse everywhere and not do anything beneficial to the team, and then Self Care through Sloppy Butcher. I get more irritated at my team more than the killer them self most the time.

  • Killer shack is an infinite? Well, you learn something new everyday.

  • There's been multiple times where I've been petty, but here's one that stands out. This David was Urban Evading (please revert it BHVR) around the hatch while I was kiting the killer, hoping he would do the last gen. I realized what he was doing. I get hooked, I miraculously kobe, and I run right to David and took him down with me. Don't be a bad teammate! : D

  • Solo is in an awkward state. Most the time you get survivors that Urban Evade in very unnecessary times. They Self Care at the wrong time. They sit on gens while someone is hooked, which leads to the hooked survivor eating two hook states then probably getting farmed. But if you have a good team, killer gets wrecked.

It just all leads to the fact that most players in this game are, in nice people terms, not very good. Survivor emblems are now very orientated towards a SWF squad rather than a solo gamer. It feels like no matter how much you do, you can't pip up.

The Ruin changes aren't very good. The idea that perks get better as they tier up is nice. Now it's basically the same on all tiers of Ruin. I don't think it's a crutch on killers minus Nurse and Billy. I agree that games can end ridiculously fast without it sometimes.

  • Ruin Billy is really irritating to go against most the time. The best thing I'd say you can do is force M1s out of him. If Ruin is such an issue, try to find the totem or power through it.

Spirit Fury isn't an issue if you drop pallets a little early. If you get hit near the pallet, let it stand and run to the next loop. If you drop it down he can just Spirit Fury the pallet and two tap you.

Dead Hard, Adrenaline, Balanced Landing, and a perk of your choice are my recommendations for a build. I personally use either BT or Resilience for my perk of my choice. ; )

There's a little something called look around before picking up a survivor immediately to look for sabo gods..

You dont get it. Let's say I do find a hook in reachable distance; then, the survivor goes to that hook while im carrying the other survivor and sabo's that hook. Now do that over and over. So tell me, what am I supposed to do? Keep picking them up, have them sabo, then the survivor escapes? Im supposed to do this over and over?

drop the survivor your carrying and beat the sabo to death

    Slugging's always a good option!

Survivor has no skill cap. It's literally easy mode. Survivors aren't having fun unless they can loop 4 daz and teabag on their way out with their 4 escape. Just be honest.

I have to disagree with that. Survivors actually do have a skill cap. Compare an immersed survivor who is extremely weak in chase to a survivor who is able to run the killer for awhile before getting downed. If you're having troubles going for the more skilled survivor you can always go for the weaker link in the group.

We have another very strong killer. Deal with it.

Being stealthy around Legion is incredibly important. The changes to him are amazing. They simply need to leave him be.

He's strong, as a killer should be. They did buff Self Care, but no one cares about that lol

People were starting to not heal at times against him. Now you need to. Maybe they could make it 1 second in between stabs? So it can't be spammed?

I think he's top tier and strong. As he should be. PLaying against him is intense and tough. ADapt.

How are survivors suppose to adapt to a killer that has very little counterplay? Even Nurse has more counterplay than Legion. Let me ask, should a high tier killer have no skill ceiling? Should the killer and survivor be forced on the same skillcap no matter how much experience one side has because of what killer they play?

There seems to be a lot of hyperbole in this thread. This isn't a very big buff. If you are walking around injured then you deserve to go down faster. That is just common sense.

It's not common sense for a killer to ignore gameplay however.

That doesn't really have anything to do with this change though. If you want to argue that the killer's ability is fundamentally broken that is one thing. But with the killer's ability as it currently stands it just makes sense that if they stab you while your are injured that you don't get the full deep wound timer. It should never be the optimal strategy for survivors to ignore being injured against any killer.

The fact that staying injured is the most viable strategy is on of the reason why Legion is so poorly designed. The fact that they're using this horrid bandaid fix instead of gut reworking them is absolute asinine.

BVHR: Releases a killer that is poorly designed and conceptually broken.
Community: Expects BVHR to put time and effort into reworking said killer.
BVHR: Changes nothing and buffs killer.

They're offering this to us as a solution because it would take forever to rework him...How long have we been waiting for Freddy to be reworked?

I'd rather have a band-aid than wait forever for a rework that may never come!

He needs to be viable without a rework because bhvr takes their sweet ass time with reworks...

Is this band-aid fix really the right way to go though? It's known that the majority of survivors, even killers think that Legion is very unfun to go against. This band-aid fix is not the way to go. Yes, it makes Legion viable, but decreased their fun factor even more. Hopefully the Freddy rework is going to arrive soonish. It's been more than a year and he's still god awful.

  • So a Nurse that you pick up and master in one or two games? An S tier killer that you don't have to spend hours and hours in to master? That totally makes sense.

  • They're testing the Frank's Mixtape on injured in the PTB. O-O They didn't even put it in the notes.

  • I also have to say that we are extremely limited to PTB changes. We only get to play one iteration and they make changes; we don't get to test these changes. We even have to level up the characters to test the perks and that's just ridiculous. They were on good track when they shipped mulitple updates to the PTB on the Clown. If they let us test different changes that would be fantastic. I'd rather have a longer PTB to let us test the stuff rather than ship an unfinished product.

Mainproblem is, that the devs don't play the game and don't have a fundamental meaning of "how the players play the game" so this time it's legion next time it's another new killer. I slowly stop to play this game. One big issue is this killer. I hate him as killer and survivor, cause it does not feel good to play with or against him.

That is also one of the issues. Most of the devs don't know how to play at all. Only like two of them play the game and are actually good.
