I really want it now just to see people complaining about it all over the forums
-
Damn bro, that's a really well thought out idea. Probably one of the most in depth chapter designs I've seen, with the map and lore and chase music and everything. Not gonna lie I kinda wish it was a real chapter
-
Nobody, I have my fingers crossed every chapter that the next one is the one but it never is... maybe someday... 😔
As for survivor they're all pretty much the same but I like Ace and David the most. Jake is cool too but I never really play him much. And I do like the occasional pizza Dwight
-
Normally we'd be playing the ptb right now (Twins PTB was on 10th of November iirc, which means going by the 3 month pattern and the time between all other ptbs and chapters, the ptb should be happening already or very very soon), hopefully it's not much longer. Currently everyone is distracted with everything else and is probably the reason there aren't already 10 posts saying "ptb when"
-
I've always wanted to set some survivors on fire
-
I dreamed there was a new mode, 4v1... But it's 4 killers and 1 survivor. The survivor was about the same speed as killers (maybe a bit faster), had super fast interaction speed, and could take several extra hits. Instead of gens the survivor had to go to these ritual circles on the ground to complete them. It was basically like pacman but in dbd
-
I think it would be cool if there was a special black/iridescent chest on the map somewhere that can only be opened with a key, and it can contain special items that don't appear in the bloodweb and you can't bring them with you when you leave. I don't know what kind of items, but it would have to be better than any of the regular items to be worth the effort to get it
-
Yeah I've always hated gens, literally any other objective would be more fun
-
Asymmetrical multiplayer addiction too strong
-
It's one of those perks you only need when you didn't bring it
-
With how many bugs Plague has, fixing them all would feel like a rework
-
Hopefully it's a bug and not intentional, they got a shitload of other bugs in this patch so it wouldn't be a surprise at this rate
-
If you don't play the game you shouldn't get rewarded for playing, bottom line
Also why post on the forums if you're not going to actually listen to/consider any opposing views? Seems like you just want a circlejerk or validation rather than a real discussion
-
I agree, besides SWFs already have this advantage- "hey guys I cleansed a totem" "bout to do last gen how many totems have you guys done?" stuff like that should be given to solo survivors, it's not going to break the game or anything to bridge the gap a little
-
It gives me a headache, honestly I'd rather play without a hud than this
And there's no other game that does me that way, it's just this one
-
Inb4 they won't change it because "people just need to get used to it, this change is good people are only complaining because it's different"
-
The new UI gives me a headache. It's not because it's new and I'm just not used to it yet, the actual placement of information and having to look all over the place to see the stuff I want/need to see is nauseating. I don't know why they would arrange everything that way and expect people to actually be able look at all of it while they're in a match. I'm probably not going to play much unless they change it back or until the new chapter drops
-
When I go on that map I just check myself into the facility as a patient
-
Also it takes 3 seconds even though it says 2.5 in the game
-
I would be a Plague main if the puke velocity was like 10% higher and her BP gain wasn't completely horrible. I can be basically breathing down their neck and still not hit them going around a corner
-
I just about bent over and started chewing on my toenails when I saw the title
-
I wish there was a killer perk like Distortion but without the 3 token limit (also Distortion itself could use a buff)
Not unlimited aura blocking, just like... I dunno, something at least
-
- No unique survivors. Killers are all unique with different stats and powers, but survivors are just skins. WHY?????????? It makes no sense whatsoever! I've always ######### HATED this so much. I could go on forever about how sad this makes me but I don't even want to get started because it'll be an endless rant about how a whole roster of 24 people are actually just one singular soulless mannequin with a skin plastered on it. They do some silly stuff sometimes but they really got me with this one
- No new interactables or secondary/alternate objectives. Game's been out how many years and we still just got gens. The only new thing (that isn't tied to a killer power) they've added to interact with since release is totems. Think about that for a minute
- A lot of perks are not very viable unless you're a meme build psycho (like me). It's great and all that they occasionally buff a few underused perks, but most of those perks that they buff have been hot garbage/barely used forever and they're just now becoming okay but not even that great. I wish they'd do more of them and more often. I want to have more viable options to shake up my gameplay without feeling like I'm intentionally hindering my performance
-
Pretty much my current relationship with the game goes like this:
- Start the hints/speculation about a new upcoming chapter, getting excited at the possibilities
- Find out what it is
- Disappoint
- Maybe the perks will be cool?
- More disappoint
- Bored because nothing new in the game that I like
- Quit until the next chapter
So for me personally it's dead until I get something to revive my interest
But for people in general I'd say, if we keep getting ######### chapters like the last one, or maybe once a good competitor comes along with developers who aren't greedier than Mr. Krabs or literally 3 guys in their basement working on games as a side job, then maybe they'll have to step up their game a bit
But for as long as it holds the monopoly it's not going anywhere. Even if they announce tomorrow all characters are gone and the only survivor is Joe Mama, the only killer is RTX Morshu, and the only map is the inside of thompson house with no exit, people still have to play this game because there's no other asymmetrical game for all us severely addicted mofos to run off to
-
Do you even lift (pallets) bro?
📏💪
-
Sometimes I have those 1 in 100 rounds where I was like "man if only I had some super specific perk combo that would help in this exact situation" this build is one of those combos
-
I think it'd be cool to have a perk that lets you break walls (as survivor) and you get tokens from it that do something (but I don't really know what they could do)
-
I'd rather pay 1,000,000 BP than play a game against hag. I'd rather play 10 rounds against a double killer glitch with Spirit and Nurse than play a game against hag. I'd rather play m1 Nurse with no power against a gangbang bully squad than play against hag. I'd rather play a 2 hour long 3-gen game against forever freddy than play against hag. I'd rather have an elephant stand on my balls for 6 hours than play against hag
-
like 90% of the perks in the game pretty much
But in particular I wish Distortion was better. It's a really cool effect for a perk, but only having 3 tokens is really limiting especially considering everyone and their dog runs BBQ so you'll end up losing all your tokens to it unless you run to a locker every time someone is about to get hooked. Also I feel like there should be a way to get more tokens somehow

It doesn't say that lol.
Cripple them all
10
In public matches, with the Trapper, catch a total of 10 survivors in your Bear-Traps.
Reminds me of the achievement that says, word for word, "Escape by bringing a new item to the campfire" I swear to god I spent a total of 30 minutes throughout several games trying to figure out how I could burn an item in one of the fires around the map to escape. And this was when I was new and the game had just came out so I didn't know anything. I seriously thought I could somehow sacrifice and item and it would just whisk me away to safety. Turns out it just wants you to escape with an item 😑
-
You don't need to hide in the corner/locker for 2 minutes every time you hear the heartbeat
Also it's not a good idea to drop pallets in advance so they serve as a barricade while you're working on a gen
-
Hag: Just a huge pain in the ass, the traps are so annoying, the constant gurgling is annoying, I hate everything about her
Freddy: Just a huge pain in the ass, the traps are so annoying, the constant lullaby is annoying, I hate everything about him
Doctor: Just a huge pain in the ass, the shocks are so annoying, the constant screaming is annoying, I hate everything about him
-
Step 1: Dive bomb a locker
Step 2: Wait
Step 3: Die
-
I've always wanted this but it's a pipe dream unfortunately. I'm sure they could do it but they probably won't since they aren't motivated enough to innovate new ideas. That's the same reason we don't have secondary/alternate objectives or new gamemodes or new items or literally anything to do besides hold m1 for 80 seconds
-
The game + all the dlcs except maybe one or two I got with shards. So whatever amount that adds up to, maybe over $100. Doesn't seem too bad when it's spread out over the span of years
I haven't bought any cells. I just feel like I won't get much bang for my buck, like one outfit for one character is $10 and I'm not gonna get any use out of it if I play a different character or want to use a different cosmetic or if I'm playing the other side or whatever. And I'm gonna be trying to play the game rather than just sit there and look at myself, and if I'm killer then I don't even get to see myself except in the intro camera spin
-
Hag, Freddy, Doc, Plague, Deathslinger, Legion
The rest I can tolerate (even nurse and spirit) but damn those guys make me want to scream and roll around in the floor and jump up and down like a monkey
-
I used to wait on the hatch sometimes if I didn't feel like going to a gate (due to being injured and/or too far and not wanting to chance running into the killer) so I could escape after the other survivors left but this exact thing is why I never do that anymore. I've actually died to the entity before just because people wouldn't leave until the absolute last second
-
I hate having to look literally everywhere, I can't even focus on the game
- Perks in the bottom right
- Interaction buttons on the bottom
- Item/Power/addons in the bottom left
- Hook counter on the left
- Status Icons in the top left
- Objectives on the top
- BP gain notifications in the top right
Before, everything was compact in the bottom half of the screen and you could see everything at a glance while the rest was empty for you to see the game, now it looks all spread out for no reason
-
I can just imagine the Clown survivor laughing every time he gets hit and grunting whenever he vaults or drops a pallet
-
Everyone hates it and have been begging to change it forever but despite numerous reasons to get rid of it and practically no good reasons to keep it it still hasn't been changed
-
Monstrous Shrine:
Two basements spawn on the map
In the back of the basement there is an Entity portal you (only the killer) can use to teleport between them
Survivors who are hooked in the basement take 30/40/50% longer to rescue, and get 1/2/3 fewer self escape attempts
-
I love Devour Hope but Undying said bye bye to all my tokens, now I can actually use it without getting banged back to 0 every time
-
Well if it's a bug I hope they don't fix it, this perk might actually be useful now
-
With the upcoming trapper change, solo hook escapes will be the only thing in the game that luck still has an effect on, so I think they are going to change it eventually. Not sure how they'll change it but almost anything would be better than what it is now
Or maybe they'll remove it entirely and rework the perk and offerings to do something else. Either way I like things that give a team-wide buff so I hope they keep that aspect of it
-
Hopefully they'll listen to feedback and not use the excuse of "well nobody likes it because they're not used to it yet"
-
I wish they'd just get rid of perk tiers so they don't have to come up with some random value just to have a reason for the perk to have tiers in the first place (and only having to buy a perk once instead of 3 times would be nice)

ok first of all it should be changed a bit because its not exactly what swfs "shows", u should change it to makes every other Survivor see the Killer if one mate see's the Killer because your Statement sounds like having wallhack 24/7 which swf isnt, everyone that say's "no I know always where the Killer is" is just stupidly lying, especially if the Killer uses perks like tinkerer + a fast Killer.
Second. being able to see every Gen another Person sees + progressions, doesnt sound broken at all because all it does is create a lot more counterplay for the Killer (perks like discordance or surveillance will get a buff), it decreases pressure by the survivor because a lot of people would do gens together because they see Who is doing which gen. ofcourse you could say that they would still do gens alone but then this feature is almost unnecessary. About the hatch Part, yes it may be strong especially if they use a Key but first of all if they dont use a Key it wont be a big thing because it doesnt change if you get a 4k or 3k because of the hatch, secondly if they have a Key and find the hatch u never had a Chance to get more than 1 or 2 Kills in the first place because of the Design of keys.
All your "OP" perk is doing is give Information that changes NOTHING about how good youre playing. what does it help you to have all these information if your team cant last more than 20 sec in a chase (a lot swfs are that bad), I will tell you what is going to happen, the Killer will either always kick the gen with Pop or Plan B start to camp a gen because he knows the survivor now know the Progression and a lot of survivors are too stupid to do another gen because they want to finish the gen they almost finished. and with this you will create a simular scenarion like 3 gen tactic and you know what if the Killer plays it right he always wins.
All im trying to say is yes it would be a good perk but swf or lets say the communication with each other in the game doesnt mean someone is cheating and its definitely not impossible to win against them.
The only point I'm really trying to make is that swfs who communicate (and almost all of them do) have a straight up advantage that they shouldn't have and solos just get the short end of the stick because even if they're using perks they can't get the level of info swfs have access to. Yeah I guess the perk I described isn't exactly spot on but still, swfs get info that was not intentionally designed to be a part of the game (which is why basic info perks still exist)
Even if swfs only got the effects of one perk (but they don't just get one, they get like 10 and they get some stuff that perks can't give you) that's still an unfair advantage which they give up nothing to gain, and an advantage that not everyone has access to or the ability to utilize. And in either case the advantage is something external to the game that the opposing player has no control over and they have no equivalent to since they play alone. Just because they are still beatable doesn't mean everyone should pretend it's not a problem
-
Visually speaking, I think Pyramid Head looks the most badass. Like if there was one killer I wouldn't want to run into in real life, it would be him (but if I did it would be epic until I died)
-
Here's a perk idea: Broski-Vision
Any time you see the killer, any teammates that also have this perk see the killer and vice-versa. Any teammates that have this perk know the progress of the generator you're working on and vice-versa. All survivors with this perk can see each other survivor with this perk. All survivors with this perk will also see the hatch if someone else with the perk sees it.
Does that sound OP? Well that's what SWFs have and it doesn't take up a perk slot

We don't want it triggering on getting downed by an addoned Bear Trap, or going down to Deep Wound, etc. It's better game design if we don't start stacking up a series of exceptions.
Make it work with special attacks, boom it's fixed. You could do the same with Franklin's. They aren't exactly going to break the game by any means, and perk variety should be considered a good thing rather than a bad thing
