15 minutes at most, after that the match start to become boring imo, specially if the killer is 3-gening or the survivors are hiding.
-
I'm tired of the argument of WoO being a fantastic perk for beginners. Beginners don't use WoO, it is a Kate's perk not a Jake or Claudette perk for example. Unless the player unlock Kate as first survivor with their first 9k iris they're no longer beginners when they unlock and prestige Kate. Also if you see the people using WoO they are usually using it with Resilience and/or MfT and if you check their profiles they are most likely to have 300 hours or more.

Felix and his "OOOooooh-oh" when getting hit.
-
No, but I don't like the people who play public matches like it were a championship with a 50.000€ reward for the winner, carrying everytime the most OP items/addons, map offerings, the strongest perk builds and genrushing/slugging/camping/tunneling.
For the people who like to play chill like me it feels exhausting and make the experience more unenjoyable. But it is just an opinion, you can't call "toxic" someone just because he/she want to win at all cost.

Reducing the pallet stun duration by 50%.

I thought Call of Brine was a bamboo instead the Sadako eye.
I thought Red Herring was a bunny from the side-behind.
I thought Bitter Murmur was a guy touching his biceps.
-
It's over exaggerated indeed. I don't have any P100 survivor, but I watch streamers who have P100s and they are mostly dodged two times in a row and rarely, extending the waiting time 2 minutes at most.

Bad argument, because that's all he has and he even has a big cooldown on his radial dischange.
Read the damn third reply of the thread which is only two replies below my first reply, it's not that hard and it's not a "hidden" reply below 20 replies. The same for Annso_x and C3Tooth.

When they swap doctors powers onto blight, let me know.
OK, my bad, I never used that perk despite having the xenomorph and I thought that perk work just after checking a locker (like doctor power), not during 30 seconds. I just checked again the description.
-
The Doctor is an easy mode killer then, I guess. Because his power let him do the same thing but everywhere.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Skull Merchant is still the most hated killer in the game and gets free injuries out of nowhere. They needed to tone it down a little so that is a great change to see. Borgo we will have to see. 18 seems like a lot, but the map was massively empty of pallets so this will bring it up to a similar place as other maps.
I don't get what's the problem of "free injuries" from Skull Merchant. Legion and Plague also have powers with free injuries, and less countereable than the skull merchant one in fact, and almost nobody complain about them, well some people used to complain about Legion, but about how boring is to face them not about their free hits.

DBD Community always was very meta heavy. I have never seen a community that blindly abides metas (and content creators) that much at all. The only thing that keeps it in check is that the cost of unlocking perks so high that many get discouraged.
Hell even games like R6 Siege aren't that meta heavy in my experience even in ranked.
DBD community is meta heavy because most of non meta perks are too situational or directly trash, there are only a few underrated ones.
-
In my opinion it should be.
I faced a full troll premade a few months ago whose purpose was hidding for inducing a DC from me I guess. They put the Badham offering (the map in which more easy is to stay hidden in the game) and with stealth builds, I managed to kill two of them and when there were two of them remaining I couldn't find them, I even stayed afk for about 10 minutes to see if they get bored and start to make gens but they didn't and when I was about to DC I found one of them in a locker and of course I camped him.
I've said this several time in the forum but for me the solution for this problem is making the survivor get the crows if the killer didn't interact with any survivor for more than 5 minutes, even if they're moving.
-
They didn't make another boon because it is a failed concept, they aren't capable of designing boons which are neither too bad or too strong, the only successful boon (circle of healing) had to be nerfed several times and despite it being pretty decent now (specially when playing in premade) the people mostly refuse to use it because they think it is useless now.
-
That perk is unhealthy only if a full premade decide to use it and put an offering for playing in a map with problematic hook spawns like RPD. I've never seen this happening tbh.
-
Indeed.
I only do it when I want the adept achievement.
-
In soloQ she have almost no counter because you can't tell your team mates to not use the pools until they're injured (at least) and they usually use the pools as soon as they're infected and also you can't tell them to use the more cornered pools first for making more difficult for the plague to get the power. The people are usually idiot enought to not figure out this things in soloQ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
-
Because most male survivors lacks of charisma imo.
The only excepcion are:
- Vittorio: gigachad DILF.
- Dwight: goofy meme character trope.
- Felix: considered sexy by female players.
- Leon: he is Leon from Resident Evil.
- Ace: I don't know the reason, he's just Ace.
However most of the female characters are either sexy, or cute or have some kind of charisma.

Do you think that we were born yesterday?
this killer can destroy any torrent with his tail attack, and he has addons to reduce the torrents effectiveness. Not only mention that you can’t place torrents mid chase, so if you are pushed to an area away from torrents, you are basically dead. Also, there is a limit of placement for those torrents, if there is one across the map, you will have to carry this until another area of interest (you lose a lot of time due to the negative status gained). Also, if you get hit while carrying the torrent, it explodes. Also, many players have been exploiting the oppressive power of alien to tunnel down and camp at 5-4 gens. Because it is easy to to that, they eliminate a player from the game and guarantee a win because, guess what, the slowdown of this killer requires a heavy and coordinated team work to have a small chance to survive.
stop trying to hide the problem by gaslighting other people’s experiences in the game.
Using the tail for destroying the turret is very hard, most of the times the turret remove your power before you can use the tail.
I'm not too good playing survivor and I managed to place the turret in good spots just dont put the turrets in middle of nowhere, put it in middle of jungle gyms and near safe loops. Of course sometimes you can't reach a turret before the alien can use the tail two times downing you, but all the killers need win-win scenarios sometimes to actually achieve their objective of hooking survivors, you know, in fact the reason why the weakest m1 killers of the game are so weak is because they almost never have that scenarios and rely too much in mind games and bloodlust to catch any experienced survivor.
Maybe the only thing I woulf nerf in the xeno is increasing a bit its recovery time after failing a tail attack, but not to the point it was in the PTB which was too much imo.
-
I don't know why they made the xenomorph having specific hooks, it feels arbitrary and make non sense imo.
I hope they don't make it with more killers, it would nerf indirectly some stealthy killers, mainly Myers, Ghostface and Wraith and I also see more appealing the map specific hooks and make more sense.
-
Why is there so many people lying here?
"That perk is used by new players and good only for them"
Don't make me laugh.
This perk make the new player not learning the structures and pallets because they rely on the windows/pallets wallhack, in the long run this is negative for them.
And also nobody believe the statement of "this don't benefict experienced players" so why this perk is so massively used even by good players? The perk make them even better because despite knowing the structures they can know where a pallet or window is even in a non explored zone of the map even when there are some obstacles or wall which in their line of sight due its long range and the wallhack. And also nobody talked about average players, this perk make the average and low-average survivor players way better, I'm not a main survivor but I have experience playing survivor and that perks made me extend the chases considerably when I used it some time ago, I stopped using it because I knew it would be nerfed eventually.
Also if the perk is good only for new or bad players why are are so many people angry here? Don't make us believe it's because you feel sorry for the poor new players haha.
-
He/Him unless you're playing the queen skin.
-
Me.
I don't mind if my boy is one of the weakest killers, he will always be one of my mains.
-
That's a PTB bug (already reported), all hooks in all maps looks like the ones from Nostromo map.
-
Enduring + Spirit Fury is for pussies, that combo carry bad killers in chase when they don't know how to do mindgames.
-
The Kid's Ball Glove was ridiculously good for being a brown addon tbh, and it's still his best brown addon by far.

But then what about Steam, Sony and Epic
We would lose a lot more then we would gain if that were to happen
Microsoft is OK with Steam, all the Xbox "exclusive" games are getting PC versions in Steam, Starfield for example.
-
He is maybe the best killer in the game considering the "amount of skill ceiling - results" ratio. His power is very simple and easy to use and you can stomp very easily below-average survivor players and also he have good map pressure, however against decent survivors he isn't that strong.
Tier B- or C+ killer (being the S tier the top tier).
-
If you have been playing this game for 3 years non-stop is normal that you eventually get bored.
I started playing this game in 2018 one week or two after The Spirit was released and I have "only" 1750 hours. I took numerous breaks, sometimes for weeks and I usually don't play more than 5-6 matches per day unless there are an event. Anyway this is my most played game by a long shot with Black Desert being the second with almost 900 hours. I think I didn't get bored because I don't play that muchs and due the numerous breaks I take.
One important thing to no get bored is having friends to play in SWF, I play duo sometimes, but my friend don't want to play always so when I play survivor I play mostly solo Q which are way less fun and way more frustrating than SWF. That's the main reason why I'm killer main.

Tombstone is fine and infinite is fine but together they're frustrating. I guess you didn't read first
Neither of them is fine.

Darkest Dungeon 2.
Leper as killer.
-
Demogorgon.
Rat Liver and Black Heart are his best addons and are both common, haha.
-
-
Trapper.
I lost several matches in a row (about 7 or 8) and I only won when the MMR was so ridiculously low that survivors were lasting 10 seconds in chase.
Aside the Trapper, I achieved the rest of the adepts I have in first, second or third attempt.

Yes it is an ongoing issue for some of us with another one being corrupted data files.
No penalty as you didn't participate in the game, correct?
Do file verification and relaunch the game.
Not true, at least not in all cases.
I have played a match this afternoon, the game freezed while I was playing and I got that error message. All the players appeared as disconnected in at the end and I didn't get any penalty. I think the problem is that there are overflow in the servers due the amount of people playing the event at same time, including returning players for the rewards and BP.
EDIT: There are almost 80k players online currently, only in Steam.
-
I think Doctor and Legion are way better farmers than him.
And I disagree with the Deviousness, his deviousness score events give too little BP.
-
Other thing I don't like about the event. The gen auras looking yellow for killers: Perks like Surveillance and Discordance are mostly useless during the event.
-
I wonder that too. This hadicap feature of losing a hook is a non sense and is problematic sometimes and in some maps. This isn't an huge issue, 85% of the times yo can reach another hook when you down a survivor near a destroyed hook, but the other 15% feels really bad because you can't do an essetial thing which is achieving your main objetive due that mechanic. Sometimes the survivors even notice that you can't reach a hook from a spot and they go there to get downed, It happened me a few days ago.
-
The problem of Made for This is not the perk itself but combining it with Hope.

I feel like the nerf of temporary items drops cenobite to B Tier, Pig isn’t D tier level I don’t think
The nerf to temporary item drops doesn't decrease his tier imo, the Hoarder + Franklin's build is more a troll build than a strong build.
-
Switch Sadako with Freddy, put Cenobite in Tier A and put Pig in tier D and the Tier List is more or less OK.
-
The reasons why I don't like this chapter and for me the hated Knight chapter is better:
- In terms of perks and from a killer main perspective, Forged in Fog brought more interesting perks for killer, including a new Hex which can be fun with some killers like Pig and Sadako, and Nowhere to Hide is fun due the tendency of survivors to hide near Generators they're repairing and you get a lot of free hits due it. End Transmision killer perks are very very niche and/or situational Machine Learning is the only one which can catch some interest for me and I think I wont use it a lot.
- Character visual desing-wise The Knight>>>>>>>The Singularity and Vittorio>>>>>>>Gabriel, for me The Singularity is one of the ungliest killers (in the uncool way) of the game if not the ugliest, however The Knight is one of the coolest and more badass killers in the game, and I don't like to have an Astro Boy like Gabriel in the game as survivor.
- In terms of killer powers: Is way easier to use and capitalize The Knight Power and for me personally the Knight Power is more fun.
- Map wise, the maps of both chapters are bad gameplay-wise, but for me Borgo is more cool despite that ugly fog, I don't like the alien planets, I consider it doesn't fit in the game.
-
I prefer facing Knight than Nurse, Blight, Hag, Skull Merchant and Ghostface honestly.
Yes, he is annoying, the Shack is almost useless against him and if you are zoned you're basically down, but Full W work against him in a lot of situations.

Honestly this reminds me a bit of release Plague where survivors could completely block her ability to get corrupt fountains by not cleansing. There were addons to start with corrupt fountains, so it was possible to still get a corrupt purge and win the game. But it didn't feel great to not have access to your whole power without addons.
Also Plague at least got something out of survivors not cleansing to not give her corrupt fountains. Survivors are just capable of firing off EMPs with no downside to it and they are still quite plentiful being auto charging and 5 boxes.
The people kidnapping Victor when the twins were released is another example, haha.
-
I didn't play yesterday and this morning I've played about 8 matches as survivor and I haven't face him a single time.
-
All those cosmetics are not only outfits, the faces of the characters look more yassified than the PC/consoles version, do they look like this in the mobile version?
-
It is a very good perk, however I almost never use it because I don't like to use endgame perks in my survivor builds, the same reason why I almost never use Adrenaline, I don't like the sense of having one less perk until the endgame which maybe I won't reach because I will die before a lot of times, specially in soloQ.
-
The Game, Badham and Mother's Dwelling gameplay wise.
Coldwind design wise, losing the immersion of the cornfields at night was one of the major disgraces for DBD.
The rest are more or less OK.
