No. You bring up the same old flawed reasoning. One side needs to be strong enough to beat the small % of outliers on the other side. It’s indefensible. If killers have to be strong enough to beat the small % of killer swfs then they are OPAF vs the MAJORITY of teams. Get it?? And why wouldn’t it be just as fair in reverse?? All survivor teams need to be strong enough to beat the best killers. That’s the GD same thing. Imagine the uproar and outrage if your average group of solos actually had an even chance vs a Blight or Nurse. Lofl. You killers live in such a world of entitlement and delusion and BHVR will never wake you up because it works for them.
Dude… let meeeee breaaaakkkk it dowwwnnnnn.
Buff all killers to be able to handle strong SWF’s…
Buff solo Q to be on par with a strong SWF.
I play survivor just as much as killer. The entitlement is baby survivors like you asking for killer nerfs because you get outplayed and don’t like not being able to bully the killer. Tell me I’m wrong.

“Y’all want easy games”. LOL. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. No you entitled Blight Main. We want an actual balanced game vs whatever BS this is. If mid to high tier Blight and Nurse don’t have an 80% or higher win rate vs solos I will shut up and leave these forums.
Don’t be mad because you won’t take the time to learn his counterplay. Lemme guess, you tried holding w? Maybe you tried to greed the pallet? Running out in the open? I see it allllll day.

@Audiophile said:
Bring out the killer mains to defend their posh life. Face it: some killers are balanced but 2 and 3 ks aren’t acceptable to your egos. You must play the OPAF killers so you can go entire days without a single loss. DBD Killer remains the easiest gig in gaming.
Again, skill issue. Every killer should be brought to the strength of blight. He and nurse are the only viable killers that can keep up with a really good group of survivors. Even then, it’s sometimes not enough.
It is mind - numbingly obvious you haven’t touched blight, or even killer for that matter. You can’t speak on the matter unless you put a good amount of hours into both roles.
Edit • just faced a blight earlier, 2 man SWF and 2 solo. 4 man out with only 3 hooks. Learn to counter blight and you wont die to him so often.
-
yawn…. skill issue. He is far from unbeatable in chase. If y’all had your way, you’d have no killers stronger than trapper. Y’all want easy games.

The only thing I'm not sure how to really handle are jungle gyms with two vaults, and shack. But maybe a dozen games on him now and I'm slowly getting a feel for him.
What's interesting is that he looks like a very 'twitchy' killer like Billy or Nurse, but he's actually more tactical - like Hag or Dredge. You need to anticipate where you'll want to be in a few moves and how to finagle your way there.
T&L walls if that’s what you’re referring to can be difficult if there is no outside objects for bump logic. Sometimes you just have to play it normal M1.
Many of the shacks have slippery walls, so you can bump either doorframe to bait the window, and then rush along the wall to meet them there. It works about 80% of the time if they fall for it. Or if you’re comfortable bumping through doorways, you can either slide to the window if they vault, or commit inside of shack and get the hit either way.

and im Main Survivor with 8k+ hrs over 4yrs playing dbd but i dont begin to lie about facts in dbd, i can quiet and play everyday swf with friend and abuse it... if you say that "you cant nerf swf" then buff solo q (example giving action buff) and then buff killer too, but that's not allowed either :DD I don't care if one or the other happens, but it can't stay that way the SWF is much much stronger than solo q and killer, btw swf nerfs would only hurt the people who "tryharden" those who play with friends just want to have fun and have a good time together, so i only see cheap excuses and only cries from people abusing the free aura reading perks, and on top of that the matchmaking doesn't work properly on a swf (you get killer who are much more below your level)
my little dude, can i ask you how many hours do you actually has ?
That’s quite literally what they are doing…. They just buffed solo q.
I’m not your “little dude”. I’ve got enough hours to know that anybody with “8k hours over 4 years” would know that this argument is something noobie players would bring up.

the developers said that the game with friends
playing with friends does not = using third party programs
So is Xbox party chat a 3rd party software? Is Xbox party chat illegal in DBD? Your argument has NO legs to stand on.

Most are bad with Nurse, Spirit, Billy, Freddy and many other killers, however they were nerfed into the abyss, you can tell this cheap excuse to someone else, according to your logic, they should never be nerfed
"yOu cAnNoT pEnAlIzE pPl fOr pLaYiNg wItH fRiEnDs" but nerfing killers although most players weren't good with them and just want to have fun with this killer, they still got hardcore nerfed because a few could handle it
stop that double standard bs!
What?😂 Why double standard am I portraying? I’m a hard killer main. It’s not an excuse, so many of y’all use the term “SWF” and presume it to be this god tier force to be reckoned with. It’s really not.
No, you cannot penalize a player base for playing with friends. That’s stupid. And killers recently got a huge blanket buff…. So I don’t know what you’re talking about. Killers haven’t been nerfed.

well, if the constant knowledge of where the killer is and all your allies without any perks is fair, then for good the killer should also receive all the information perks simply by running the discord
by the way, constant communication in a game that is designed for the fact that survivors cannot talk to each other
1) Again. Not all SWF’s are good.
2) There is nothing in the rules about using discord or communicating with your friends.
3) You cannot penalize people for playing with friends. You wouldn’t have a game after that.
-
It’s already been an announced change in the next update.
-
Why wouldn’t I? You’re doing it in my face, and what if I want those bloodpoints? Killer>survivor.

DM me. I’ll show you some nasty flicks.
-
Because it’s not against any rules. It’s an app for gamers to use to talk to their friends while they play games together.
Playing with friends is a large part of the game. You are allowed to use discord, it is not free aura, and it does not make every single SWF a god tier team.
There are many many SWF’s that aren’t any more effective than a random solo q team.

There is no point in talking with Blight mains, they repeat the same thing and talk about skill issue.
You both main Blight with Alch Ring and you use hug bug. That's literally a skill issue.
The worst part is, that @HugTechLover thinks that Blight is the hardest killer in the game and that hug bug is part of his skill ceiling.
I actually never really use alch ring. :) Name a killer with a higher skill ceiling.

It's genuinely hard to play vs blight. But no other killer allows for both sides to have counterplay at the same time consistently.
As you said it's too bad survivors just don't see or understand collision. IT"S NOT MY FAULT THEY DON"T REALIZE THAT ANGLE ON THAT T-pee doesn't have collision. I know it's overused and used poorly on this forum but it really is a skill issue.
I would say it’s hard to play against a GOOD blight. Which they are not too common. A beginner - intermediate blight can be pretty easy to beat and even bully depending on the skill of the survs.

MMR doesn't work very well but if there is an excess of killers around your mmr you will get matched with them. So if you enjoy a good blight, try to raise it. I would think late afternoon to early evening is prime time for getting matched with what you are looking for, though I could be wrong. Although an actually good blight is probably really rare. There's a good chance that a high mmr is a mediocre blight running c33 or tunneling straight off hook with alch ring.
Just as I play at 12AM-4AM in hopes of going against the rare truly skilled survivors, only to get matched with marginally more skilled survivors running really strong builds, you may experience the same thing with killers. I don't tunnel because I want to see a survivors full potential in chase starting healed. But at least 95% of the player base don't think like that.
Same. It’s so rare I see a survivor that has the actual knowledge to counter my flicks and bump logic. Too many of them just try to hold W. Edit: or the most common, them trying to greed a pallet that’s surrounded by bump logic objects. I don’t know why they try and greed so hard EVERY TIME.
-
@foods said:
2/30 killers in dbd are viable vs teams of 4 good survivors but its definitely the killers that are the problem
Exactly this.
-
This is the “shoulder flick”. While I’m a straight rush, the hitbox is tiny. But if a blight flicks hard towards a survivor just before hitting, his hitbox is MUCH wider. It ONLY WORKS if he’s touching you. As somebody said, do not let him touch you like that.

Skill issue doesn't apply to a killer that counters BASIC RUNNING. He's like Nurse, except we trade solid objective phasing for the ability to do it 4 times.
Oh boo boo, you can’t mindlessly hold that precious W key against blight. I’m sorry he calls for actual skill to be in chase with.

I don't know how exactly that works but you can moonrush with Blight. That happened to me twice yesterday. Also Hug Tech is still in the game. Then there is the issue with certain slippery collisions that can sometimes (though very rarely) work in your favor.
I would argue moonrush is not a bug. Being able to slide off objects was intentionally added via blight pov at the time of rushing.

This, also I wonder when exactly are we getting rid of this bug or the players who exploit this bug.
Idk why has Mandy not made any comment since may on this bug and why it hasn´t been fixed yet.
But I assume, next mid chapter when they also nerf Blight addons.
Maybe they won’t fix it. Plenty of “bugs” get left and added as base game. It happens ALL the time. But time will tell.
I don’t think y’all realize that the hug tech is simply a more fun way to go for flicks. 95% of the hits I land with a hug tech are me taking a risk for the sake of fun, where I can get a GUARANTEED hit using bump logic. Not to mention, the hug tech is MUCH more counterable than simple bump logic. It is easy to see if a blight is about to hugtech because it takes 2-3 seconds to set up.
If they patch it out, it’s going to be less fun for both sides.

You play on controller? With keyboard and mouse he is much much easier. It does not take that much to skill do fine with him. At least I never see bad blight everyone plays him well and he is most common killer by far so even lot of casuals play him. But never ever I see console blight as with controller he is actually very hard and you can't use hug tech with him and survivors will spin your every hit.
Completely disagree, as a blight main. Nobody can just pick him up and be fine.

From Killer i really hate Lethal Pursuer users. It's the equivalent of SoloQ HUD buff. Free extremely powerful info. And the Passive Buff to aura reading applies to itself, #########! Why Fix Maps and Spawns if you can just give killers Aura Reading at the start of the match right!?
From Survivors i have to say i hate Items more than their Perks but if i were to name a Perk i'd name Hope because movement speed and hitbox differances benefit survivors so much and Lucky Break because you can Ninja vanish as reward for killer doing his Job.
THese things showcase perfectly how BHVR fails to understand and correct their game.
How does that show they “Fail to understand and fix their game.” 😂

Disagree there. Like wesker is pretty balanced and I think there are many more killers that need adjustments before him (blight's addons being one of those examples), but if I really had to pick 1 thing that needs to be fixed about wesker, then I would say it's his tunnel potential.
As a survivor (especially if wesker takes infection addons) once hooked, it's too easy to proxy camp, hit right after unhook (to proc more infection) and then just chase with guarantee of not a very long chase - because infection will do it's work. Even disregarding this - once somebody is unhooked and infected, he will need to go for an injection very quickly. And once he uses it, there's another beacon telling the killer "Tunnel me". I think this is not a good design. Everything else about him (even those hits which are sometimes really funky - for both sides - like as wesker I hate it how you bounce away from pallet/window just because someone was using it some time before and for survivor how he can sometimes pull you back from the other side of window - they are less of a problem then this).
I will agree with that. His tunneling ability with dual infection rate addons is INSANE.

You can’t be serious.

no thanks wanna no how long that will take to manually go from lvl 1 to P100 on any character 11 hrs in the bloodweb if you have infinity amount of points
8 seconds per lvl x 50 lvls x 100 prestiges = 40000 seconds / 60 seconds = 666.7 minutes / 60 = 11 hours
You’re not taking into consideration the small blood web levels. I can say for a fact I was not in the blood web for 11 hours. I made 100k per game and spent it all in between games while loading into the next match. Ez.

As I wrote earlier, the problem is not that he is strong or not, the problem is that those teammates who make these dead zones use this perk. The problem is that it's a challenge for survivors to drop everything that's highlighted, run towards everything that's highlighted, then fall off the Circle of healing. These are the teammates in random.
I don’t quite understand what you mean.

I absolutely understand. I did the same thing for awhile. Lmao
I would burn a black ward for purple / iri. But now my blight is stacked with thousands for each addon (5-6 hundred of each iri) so I pop whatever I want every game. It’s quite nice.. but I absolutely get where you’re coming from!
-
Dude, you ask for some strange nerfs on here. Lol
WoO is nowhere overpowered. Trying to loop without it, being brand new, is nigh impossible.
I can loop without fine, but it helps see what RNG we got, and what dead zones my teammates created. That is nothing super oppressive or deserving of a nerf.
-

I don't think I will commit to P100 a killer anytime soon considering I still have a couple and a few survivors that are not prestiged yet. And also, that it does nothing.

I wouldn’t say nothing. That’s permanent lvl 50 BW is fantastic. It’s guaranteed 2 iris.

I got blight to p100 a couple days ago! Would have gotten it awhile ago but I got nea to 25 then started blight. Took me about 200 hours of game time to hit p100.

Because Wesker also counters "W" pretty well.
He has broken bits with geometry, and its a little too consistent that he can be dodged in a second bound, but he is close enough to being able to manage most game play styles used against him.
And this makes people angry, which you already noted, just using Blight as an example.
100% agree.
-
Blight’s basekit (including hug tech) are perfectly balanced. They have a ton of counterplay, and can be very strong if you put many hours into learning him.
He absolutely does not need to be reduced to a 4.4 speed. That makes no sense.
I have put more than 1,000 hours into blight. He has by far, the highest skill ceiling of any killer. The issue, and the reason people like you call for these stupid nerfs, is the amount of survivors that simply DO NOT know how to counter his power. I’ve seen people want him nerfed because they cannot mindlessly hold W against him, and cannot mindlessly loop him around a pallet 7 times then drop and repeat. (some tiles you can)
I will die on this hill. I knew as soon as nurse was nerfed, y’all would want the next strong killer that inconveniences your agenda of wanting to pub stomp killers. Blight bridges the gap between a really good SWF and your weak c-d tier killers. We HAVE to have s-tier killers.
Common ground I will give you, his alch ring and c33 could be reworked. His other addons are fine. But his basekit it completely fine.
As for wesker… wesker is also completely balanced. Don’t know why you would even bring him up. Lmao

Yup.
It's actually a little irritating, as I'm done with my killer archives for now and also Iri 1.
But that does make me wonder...
If you're, say, a very low MMR survivor but a high MMR killer - is it possible to have 100% on both?
Yep. Same boat. I got iri 1 shortly after reset, and just recently got blight to P100. I need to get Nea to p100 now but my bonus is on killer. I’d love to play some survivor, I just don’t make sh*t for BP.
I average 100-120k a game on killer, and lucky to pull 35-40k on survivor with a cake.
