Define "acceptable results"
-
Knockout only exists to bully soloq survivors. It is in dire need of a rework.
-
Considering I've never actually seen a vanilla blight, it's hard to say. If he continues to be an issue after the add on nerfs, then yes. If his only problems were the add ons, then no.
-
day = only true masochists want to actually play soloq -> game needs more survivors -> 100% bonus for survivor
evening/night = friends start playing together -> game needs more killers -> 100% bonus for killer
-
It's a trade off. You get the benefits of larger FoV but in return you are easier to blind. Also, it's a slider. You don't have to use it (like the visual heartbeat, which some people find distracting, so they don't use it). Also if you genuinely believe they are redesigning the blind system with an entirely separate "blind" hitbox, you are... very optimistic to say the least.
-
if you really want to bully soloq survivors, you bring blindness
-
It would at least somewhat punish tunneling and that's better than nothing
-
Lobby dodging needs to be reduced, not encouraged. Also, if you think killers will stop sweating if they see they are facing 4 solos, you are delusional. They would probably camp and tunnel even more because they know soloq lacks the coordination required to adequately deal with that.
-
She's just a pub stomper with non existent skill floor. Of course a lot players enjoy that. They need to nerf the condemned playstyle and buff other aspects of her kit.
-
A lot of people play soloq. Without woo, you have absolutely no idea what pallets were already used by your teammates. Even if you know tile and pallets spawn logic, you simply can't know that meg already dropped every pallet in a certain area until you've been there to check. So if you get chased there, you are a free down because you didn't use your sixth sense to know that there were no pallets left.
-
Infection progression after being unhooked should be paused until the survivor performs a conspicuous action
-
One of the most hated killers for a good reason. His counterplay is severely lacking, even worse since the recent buffs. The only "counter" is a high wall structure, otherwise you just die. Dodging blades is nearly impossible and not even rewarding if you manage to do it. Dodge one and you get hit by 2 others. Also he's one of the better campers, which many trickster players will gladly do from the very beginning.
-
In over 90% of pub matches, killer is the "power role", as it is rather easy to decimate a casual swf group or soloq if you just camp and tunnel your way to victory, though this wouldn't even be necessary in most cases.
-
It's a Christmas miracle
-
Most artist players simply aren't good. They only use the crows for anti loop instead of cross map snipes, which may not be very engaging to play against but it's not op. She doesn't have broken add ons, she doesn't ignore core gameplay mechanics and she has no crazy bugs she can exploit. She is not weak at all, but also nothing special. Plus, her pick rate is rather low, so people aren't facing her that often.
-
What would be the point of the tail attack in that case?

it's sad how people rely on bugs to win or think that exploiting bugs is a genuine skill expression at the game. they aren't winning the game by the rules devs set, they're actively breaking them because they can't win fairly.
you aren't good at the game, you are good at cheating at the game. gold star for you, you are a joke.
Exactly. On oni's wiki page it is literally stated that he isn't supposed to turn further than 90°, but apparently exploiting a bug to circumvent this limitation is "skill expression".
I guess I should have made the "skill" argument when the invisible dredge bug was a thing. It was "skill expression" on the dredge's part to get it to activate and the survivors could easily counter it by listening to ambient noise. So if they complained about it, it was just a "skill issue" and they simply needed to "git gud".
-
Remove survivors from the game. Put in dummies that the killer can freely hook without having to chase them.
-
That's like saying "ugh, I hate urban evasion because my teammates are just using it to crouch walk at the edge of the map". What you are describing is a player problem, not a perk problem.
-
this has major "how do you do, fellow survivor mains?" energy

You’re missing the point.
No, I am not. A bug fix is a good thing. It allowed you to circumvent limitations that the devs put on his power on purpose.
-
Oh no, the power is working as intended
-
M&A will probably just lose the FoV part. The perk is only used for its TR manipulation anyway
Shadowborn will most likely get a new effect that is also related to tracking survivors to fit with wraith's perk scheme, but I have no idea.
-
Skill floor is pretty much non existent and she is a pub stomper. That is an incredibly appealing combination for casual players
-
Dash after them? unless it's an indoor map you'll catch up very fast
-
"We're afraid we can't give you a concrete answer as of now"
-
It is definitely one of the perks of all time
-
most people will never play against actual comp swfs like in that video, but a lot of players will go against players that are simply better than them and look for excuses why they lost because it's always easier to blame something else
-
My best guess is that they'll probably start removing insta down add ons, which would explain why she's in the same update as clown.
-
the 4.6 ms is in my opinion problematic. Ranged killers are balanced around the fact that they can injure survivors from a distance, so having a ranged killer with 4.6 ms makes trickster really unfun to play against. On short wall loops, he still just downs you with blades with little to no counterplay and on the previously somewhat safe high wall loops he just chases like a normal m1 killer to force a quick pallet drop and hit the survivor with blades while they're moving to the next tile.
-
Basement only exists to camp and idk why it's still there. At the very least they should give it 2 entrances to make camping less effective.
-
I still think pallet scamper speed is too high. Unlike legion or wesker, Chucky doesn't have to go through an animation after scampering and can immediately m1 or slice&dice. This is further amplified by the running shoes add on.

Hopefully it’s something they fix as it’s weird seeing a portrait of Renato when you’re playing as a completely different person lol.
I’ve also noticed that he doesn’t scream when you get hooked, so I think he’s just bugged in general.
in that case you should make a bug report
-
that sounds like an oversight
-
but it wasn't programmed to do that
-
*the doctor would like to know your location*
-
shirtless Gabriel
-
The majority of players probably has no problem with sb. Of course there are those die hard killer only players that will complain about everything that isn't no mither + self care, but you should just ignore those people.
-
Tunneling is an easy way to win. Every killer can do it at any point in the match without needing any special perk/add on or higher game knowledge. It is easy to do, usually not punished and in most cases completely swings the momentum of the game. Countering tunneling on the other hand is hard. You need a considerable amount of skill to loop a tunneling killer long enough for it to be bad for them or have teammates than can communicate strategic body blocks. This stuff simply isn't happening in the average pub game, meaning that tunneling is an easy way to win against most pub survivors with no/minimal amount of skill required. So of course a lot of killers will do it. Many dbd players aren't actually looking for fun or balanced matches. They want to win as fast as possible with as little effort as possible.
-
It's because looping is actually hard on most maps and requires you to understand spawn logic, killer powers and accurately judge distances as well as knowing how to avoid getting mind game'd. Camping and tunneling on the other hand are extremely easy to do and don't require any higher game knowledge whatsoever, yet they are more effective than going for multiple chases in which you would need a considerable amount of skill to do well.
-
Troubleshooter is decent, but otherwise there wasn't really anything worth considering (ignoring og mft), except for memers, who can run all 3 of cage's perks
-
Makes sense. People wear PJs all year and not just on Christmas
-
Stealth killers in general. They aren't op but (imo) the hit and run gameplay is not befitting of a survival horror ACTION game.
-
Another argument for hiding prestige in lobbies
-
At this point I don't think BHVR can do anything to salvage skull merchant. She's a failure through and through. She was, still is and probably will stay an incredibly unfun and uninteractive killer with a nonexistent skill floor and this suggestion wouldn't really change that, in fact I think it would make her even worse to play against. The only good thing about her terrible design is the fact that she is so boring to play as that few people even bother to do that.
-
Agreed. We need shirtless Gabriel and pre-burn-accident singularity.
-
They're fine but once mft is nerfed, some killer players will need to find another perk they can blame when they lose and I guess it'll be those 2.
-
Easy to play killers shouldn't be strong and hard to play killers shouldn't be weak
-
Someone didn't read the EULA
-
They have. They are refusing to nerf nurse so she is probably their answer. Just use her and you can easily demolish 99% of all teams you meet in public lobbies.
