Future vision hag, greek legends dredge, alien queen, deadly games oni and the ikumi nakamura collection are all amazing and I've seen people using them a fair amount after their release.
-
I love playing as Carlos and James, but I also use Jake, Felix, Vittorio, Gabriel and Yoichi a fair amount depending on my mood
-
yes, we get it. BHVR doesn't care about killers and the role is in such a terrible state that it's basically unplayable. The devs need to give general killer buffs like making all survivors start the game on a hook in the basement. Then killer might be playable again, right?
-
You simply have to read the killer's mind to know exactly when they plan to open a locker. Then you hide in a locker for the next 30 seconds. It's super easy.
-
Every knight player plays the same: get to loop, skillfully press m2 twice to poop out guard, survivor (in an equally skillful way) has to hold w to the next loop, rinse and repeat until survivor is cornered at an unsafe pallet/edge map, where knight gets a guaranteed hit thanks to his guards. As you can see, knight is really fun and engaging and allows both sides to express their skill in chases.
-
Unpopular characters don't get skins because no one plays them. Haddie only got some cosmetics because of twitter complaints.
-
You (presumably) read and (definitely) agreed to the EULA where it is very clearly stated that, and I quote:
"BHVR has the absolute right to regulate, discontinue, update, modify or eliminate any Virtual Goods at any time in its sole discretion and BHVR shall have no liability to you or anyone else for these actions."
-
That won't happen
-
There is a difference between a skilled player using woo to avoid dead zones and baby Kate who throws every pallet on the map within the first 10 seconds of her chase.
-
finding a TV that isn't turned off by her constant teleport spam can be quite difficult, especially on larger maps like mothers dwelling or maps with complex layouts like RPD

You can still hate the player, because there are many other killers to play that actually offer gameplay, and Skull Merchant does not have any of that. You put a drone at a gen and camp it, there is really not much to learn or outplay or get good at or anything. This killer just offers nothing and I simply don't understand what people could possibly enjoy about it.
They enjoy the easy wins you get with her. As you said, there is nothing to learn, but she is still quite "strong". Low skill floor killers with a high power level have always attracted people who just want to win without doing anything
-
Bot movement speed is the same as normal survivor movement speed

It would be cool if some Legendary skins aka characters were added as well but at least I have Ada :).
Yeah, I was hoping for Carlos or James but this is better than nothing
-
you just copied this over from reddit and as you can see the responses here are largely the same
-
You don't. You pray that you're facing a new player who still misses tail strikes and that your team is quick on the gens.
-
That is an absolutely wonderful idea ... if your goal is heavily reducing the player base and inflating queue times
-
Agreed. Every other scream perk/power is blocked by lockers, which is the only counter play outside of running the meme perk calm spirit. I don't see why a strong perk like that gets to ignore lockers.
-
Yes, unless I'm playing on borgo. I win some and lose some but usually I do feel like I'm having a noticeable impact on the game.
-
Blight, nurse and spirit all have their own problems and should not be used a standard for balancing, but at the very least there is some skill required to play them and you are punished for messing up with their power. Wesker is also a strong killer who isn't incredibly hard to play and even he is punished for missing his rushes.
-
Her head crest already clips through a lot of doorways
-
It took them almost 5 years to slightly nerf mother daughter ring, so blight's add ons will probably receive minor changes in late 2025
-
I think borgo is uglier but swamp is really giving it a run for its money
-
Xe/xim for the worker drone and xe/xer for the queen
-
People always tunnel when a new killer releases because it's quick and easy way to win that works on every killer and you don't need to understand the killer's power to do it.
-
Oh no, random forum user, please don't quit. BHVR would be absolutely devastated if they lose 4 players.
-
One of the most bizarre changes I've ever witnessed. The perk is mainly used by new players to learn pallet and window spawns and soloq players to compensate for not being able to communicate with their teammates about pallet drops. So this change only targets those player groups and doesn't affect swfs in any way. Isn't that the exact opposite of what the game needs?
-
No
-
Steam family share was never intended to work the way it did. You were basically taking advantage of something that shouldn't have been possible to begin with. I don't know Steam's terms of service, but I'm relatively sure they don't offer compensation for you abusing the system. BHVR doesn't refund anything bought with auric cells.
-
I get that it's a movie reference but I don't think that implementing blaring alarm sounds into a chase theme is the way to go. It's irritating. Layer 3 sounds really good and I had hoped that they'd do something with it and not just insert the "wind shield wiper" sound at max volume.
-
In a game where one side needs to visit certain places on the map and stay there for prolonged periods of time to progress the game, an aoe ability that completely passively makes this extremely dangerous and punishing is a core design failure in my opinion. No other character can just passively lock down 3 (theoretically even 4) places on the map at the same time and prevent the other side from meaningfully progressing the game without putting themselves in massive danger, especially if no comms are involved.
-
Balancing around top players is not a good idea, because the vast majority of players aren't at that level and will never be there, which is why most balance changes are made for average players.
-
Compared to ye old times where we had infinites, double pallets, pallet vacuum, insta heals, insta gens, insta blinds, etc.? Yes, definitely.
Compared to the 3 gen kick meta with overcharge/call of brine/eruption? No.
-
It should not be removed but it should be harder to do. Currently, tunneling is not only the most effective way to win, it is by far the easiest.
-
Oh no, you only got a 3k because of the hatch. I hope you can recover from such a brutal defeat.
Most players are so bad that pretty much every killer can win even against "impossible" odds like this. This is what your screenshot is showing us.
If you 3k 3/5 games that should be considered normal, but I guess some people are only happy if they 4k 5/5 games against survivors running exclusively no mither and no items because they don't have to sweat for their win.
-
No, obviously it will just be the vast emptiness of space. Gens, hooks and pallets will randomly float around and all characters (except the 2 new ones) will die instantly because they can't breathe
-
they aren't removing pallet interactions just for alien. Maybe it'll have a powered state like singularity where it can ignore pallet stuns or it can quickly destroy them like nemesis, but it certainly won't be completely immune to them
-
The main value of WoO isn't to show you where pallets and windows are, because learning spawn logic is pretty simple, it's to show you where pallets aren't anymore because meg has dropped all of them. In a swf, people can tell each other which pallets are gone, but in soloq there is no such thing, meaning you have no clue if that jungle gym, which always spawns a pallet, still has said pallet or not.
TLDR: WoO is just another soloq band aid like kindred and bond

Wrong you can 100% SB aka icon is active without actually activating the perk
- When starting to run, break into a sprint at 150 % of your normal Running Movement speed for 3 seconds.
Sprint Burst causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
Sprint Burst cannot be used when Exhausted.
You can't recover from exhaustion while running
With the above information how can you run with an active SB? You need 0 exhaustion to even have SB active and as soon as you start running, SB triggers, making you exhausted again.
-
We have reached a point where people are seriously complaining about survivors using no mither. I'm at a loss for words
-
if we have reached a point where perks need to be changed because weak killers like legion are affected more than nurse than we'd need to remove 90% of all perks.

Wait until you figure out how to 100% SB so you can get injured loop for longer with MFT and then activate SB
That's impossible. As soon as you aren't exhausted anymore SB will immediately activate if you're running, which causes exhaustion. SB and MFT literally have anti synergy. No mither and self care levels of anti synergy
-
that's like saying the killer has too many advantages when carrying a survivor who is on death hook towards a hook
-
Even if the devs just completely removed hookicides, players would just find another way to get out of a game. You can't force someone to play a game. If they want to get out without a penalty, they'll find a way. For example, if hookicides were removed or a reportable offense, players would likely just throw themselves at the killer.

most intelligent leather face player
-
how else are people meant to sabotage their team without making it blatantly obvious that they're throwing?
-
they are a "limited" resource. I have so many other killers and survivors to level that I can't just use add ons every game, especially not the rarer ones. So while people who already have every character at p3 or more can easily just use all their bp on their favorite characters (and thus get plenty of add ons and items for said characters) I don't have that luxury yet.
Perks are different. Once unlocked, I can use them without running out of them. So if I level the characters with strong perks first, all of the others have immediate access to those perks.
-
Sounds like the issue here is the god awful back filling mechanic. If matchmaking just did its job properly, it wouldn't matter if players dodge.
-
Not even bots want to play against certain players/killers. Honestly, kinda based /s
