    1. the perks are kind of the whole point? maybe combine the super similar perks into one, balance the already OP ones (NOED,DH Etc)
    2. they do that already, new content is what keeps the fan base happy/expanding
    3. thats.... that's not even an issue? that's personal preference. does not affect anyone in the round whatsoever.
    4. Fair. Buddy of mine has a god tier claudette with every possible perk at purple. Dude put more into dbd than I've put into my whole life. Granted, if that's how you want to spend your time, fine. But yeah, too much grind, not enough pay off. Don't abandon the blood web entirely, make it more conducive to skill acquisition and skill expansion on both ends.
    5. blood points are there to spend. if you want to point dump all at once, go for it. But, a million blood points is totally justifiable. if you get to that point, dude just upgrade.
    6. yup.
    7. i don't follow that at all. Gibberish but, sure ill vote yes.
    8. also don't understand this (colorblind so ill just agree)
    9. leave the hatch alone. it's a last hope type of pressure in EGC and it makes it way more immersive that way. Yes, keys are lame and hlaf the time are a waste. change the keys, find other criteria for the hatch, then we're good.
    10. nah. the whole point as is: killer knows who they're hunting, survivors are none the wiser until they're face to face, even then, if survivors are sfw, i mean, that's kind of the bare bones of ANY horror movie in the last decade. if playing sfw makes the killer re approach how they play, so be it. If killer gets an advantage of knowing who they're playing against (solo v team), survivors should get some sort of heads up too.
  • devils advocate here: i've gotten heinous messages from killers all because my team and i clean sweep with CoH and other less than favorite survivor perks. I agree, end chat is toxicity at its finest, but at the same time, if tunneling, camping and what have you are viable strategies, yall gotta realize Coh and DH are viable as well, albiet annoying.

I say we just nuke the end chat all together. no toxicity if theres no chat.

Yikes can this overly forced overdone meme take a break? Surely I can't be the only one who finds this meme to just be straight up cringe worthy.

Survivors already complain over next to pretty much everything in this game at the very least can you not lecture me when I don't follow your stupid rules some content creator preaches you should do whenever you go against Pig?

Unfortunately these content creators who make this sort of childish "meme" creates a self entitled mentality that once one person does it creates a mob mentality that therefore everyone should and if you don't you are a horrible person ruining the game 👺to then be lectured in end game chats to then be raided with -rep -rep -rep on steam profiles.

I want to play the game as intended not stand still simulator allowing the opposing side to do as they please and treat me like a 5 year old. I've never ever played any other online game before where sides make demands on how the other should play and that they must follow their rules.

"survivors complain over next to pretty much everything"

*scrolls through forum to see every post is killer mains whining about nerfing every survivor perks for no reason other than because they work*

    lol

  • i don't have any dbd tats, but i have one from borderlands if anyone digs that game

if i were to get a dbd tattoo, it would have to be super niche/specific to fit in with my hobby leg sleeve ive got started.

  • killer mains have an issue with every single g dang survivor perk.

does anyone even use spine chill anymore? if spinechill needs a nerf, barbeque and chili does too

  • Dyl_pickles666

  • she was replaced with sadako

eehm they are not? They are giving up they are literally stop playing becasue they get mad / annoyed that someone is better than them instead of playing and maybe learning from that chase they think more like this "he is good now he's gonna die" and "omg he's gonna be so mad when he dies" maybe think more like this "why didnt i catch him" "how did he loop" "what did i do wrong" "was this a good chase" and stuff like that generally speaking not getting a hit or a pallet within 15 second as a killer is a BAD chase that means that you have ALMOST always made a mistake (there are some exceptions like them looping killer shack). So before you even start the chase you gotta think like this "can i catch this guy or get anything out of this chase withing 15 20 seconds" if not dont chase that player break chase look for someone else...

By camping ur shoving away all learning possibilites and just ruining the game for that survivor and yourself, there are so many good youtube videos giving simple but super effective tips on EVERY and i mean EVERY KILLER and lastly as i said THE ONLY WAY TO REALLY IMPROVE IS BY PLAYING THE GAME! :)

But they're still playing. BHVR has even stated camping is an effective killer strategy.Hate it all you want, justify it whatever way you want,

your whole spheal there is great, but you can't really make players play any differently just because you don't like it. If they want to face camp, well. They totally have the right to do just that. The only thing YOU can really do about it is: get over it.

  • are we talking Shelob? Aragog?Arachane? Ungoliant? The spider that bit Peter Parker?

powers along the lines of : webbing- slows down survivors movement speed

    venom- much like the plague

something along the lines of "its very prescence un nerves anyone unlucky enough to meet eyes with the creature: all survivors suffer a 7% speed penalty when unhooking, healing and cleansing etc etc.

peter parker spider- all auruas for everything are always visable at all times. SPIDER SENSE

  • @Anthony15 said:

Everyone that plays killer knows how frustrating that the survivors can hold their sprint with no punishment and make it to a pallet. So what if the survivors can run but for a short period amount of time. I think survivors can hold their sprint for 45 seconds, if they run longer than 45 seconds they will be hindered and exhausted for 10 seconds, but they can't run if they what to loose the hindered and recover their exhausted. This would solve the holding sprint problem and making survivors think more carefully if they want to use their exhaust perk.

yeah this is baseless. No sprint action can really last long enough to cause a game breaking issue for killers. Killers are already faster, base speed, then you got sadako who gets an even bigger speed boost. Survivors who are familiar with maps will use the sprints to their advantage, as they should, but at the end of the day its ont inherently the sprint thats ruining it. It's the strategy you employ to pursuit said survivor.

likewise- i think a stamina mechanic would be a good idea, if its balanced for both killers and survivors. Perhaps the killer could recover quicker from missed attacks, but the more you chain back to back, the longer it takes for your stamina to rebuild back to full (much the same way the bleed out mechanic works, but opposite, sort of?)

Probably 30-40% or more of the matches I’m in are hook campers, which ruins the game play.

A suggestion I have is this .. if someone is hooked and the killer stays within or lingers close to the hook radius of XX distance for more than XX seconds teleport them to the emptiest part of the map and disable any special abilities for XX seconds. Basically give them a penalty for camping.

I think that is fair and would discourage camping, and encouraging the chase and hunt the way it was meant to be.

BHVR has stated camping is an effective killer strategy, albeit frustrating for survivors. I think camping in and of itself is already a penalty, as most survivors just work on gens. If that survivor dies, yeah thats a massive bummer for that player and their team, but that's like killer mains suggesting something along the lines of "every time a survivor heals with a boon/uses dead hard, they should be negated for xx seconds/ have xyz disabled.

It sucks, yeah. The intrinsic ability to camp or spam in this game is one of its major drawbacks, but it's part of the game regardless.

yes but thats not my fault im just playing the game i dont tbag i dont use flashlights i literally loop them and do a spin or window tech once in a while... like they are literally throwing the game because im playing normally just to se me dead xd

i mean... theyre technically playing the game to, so...

Thank you for understanding the point, and yeah, I don't understand why everyone got so worked up. Behavior has set the standard not me. I'm just asking the question why a map and not anything else.

that question has been answered multiple times, you just refuse to let it go. They dont break the game.

I agree or they could have kept it bugs only and not killswitched Haddionfield setting a new standard it's that simple. You can't disable a map to rework it and not expect people to not question other things that are in fact a problem sure they might not need to Killswitch COH no problem but what about Dead Hard which has been admitted will take months to rework is that not an issue in your eyes? Does that not bring up the question whether it should be killswitched since it's already been lined up for a rework in the next months to year?

id like to buy a comma please, alex

  • i love that you're essentially telling the devs what to do, out of our own personal preference. even if they did KS anything, all the people complaining that they SHOULD killswitch would be replaced with the complainers for killswitching. Cest la vie; get over it

  • nah. the speed boost is a massive slap in the face, especially when she tunnels you

  • id play the game the same way i do now

not very seriously, and only as a distraction from the crushing weight of reality and the ever approaching grip of death.

    also for the lulz

  • @Mandy said:

I don't miss old Ruin, I think the new Ruin is a healthier perk and does reward much more for applying map pressure.

As a survivor, it's definitely much better - old Ruin was there before the colour blind settings were in game, so I must admit I used to struggle a lot with the red skill checks.

    ANOTHER COLORBLIND?!

im the only colorblind one in my friend group and i had THE hardest time with red checks.

  • no. The atmosphere within dbd is a well rounded feeling of anxiety and pressure. Having a robotic (whatever colors they are, im colorblind) bear with googly eyes make a b line to me would negate all feelings of actual horror. The bunny suit for legion is even too much to take seriously.

  • news flash: thats society as a whole

hell, thats just humanity. There is no escape

  • usually when i play killer its only to get DR/ tomes done. I'll establish early on that im cool and wont give them the business. theres almost always one survivor that wont take my truce and proceeds to flashlight bblind me for no reason. At that point, i pursue them and them only (because the other survivors did their part in helping me). I'll slash others and down them but i wont go for the hook.

  • boy its like talking to a wall.

me not liking trucks is the same as you not liking skins. You dont like it, dont buy it. I dont like trucks, i dont buy one. Plain and simple dude. The more you try to justify your stance the more intolerable you become.

even the humble brag just sounds like absolute clownery now

so just because YOU dont like "going against" an alternate skinned killer, you think the game as a whole is flawed? news flash, no one really cares what you think, and as long as people wiill pay, there will be skins.

also, ghost face isnt ghost face. The mask is ghost face. Watch the movies or read the lore dude. You're grabbing at straws to justify your holier than though ideals here.

  • isnt there a yugioh episode like that?

    im in.

Comparing stickers to licensed characters? What's the point of having ghostface in the game of he's not gonna look like ghostface? The Elsa's outfit ruins it lmao

you know you can let oother people enjoy things?

you dont see me screaming at everyone that drives a truck just because i dont like them

how about this: dont like the skins? dont buy em

there ya go just saved you a whole lot of hassle

Thanks to recent perks and updates this game is officially in the tank! I've had my fill of this game. Every single match it's camp tunnel repeat and mash up trash combinations perks to secure a 4K! I can't wait for a better game to come out by a decent developer team!

welp, you all heard him. Supreme ruler of everyones opinions has stated the game is trash. everyone has to log off now because he said so.

  • @Erd69 said:

Why do you do it? Why do you add skins for licensed characters that aren't even in the movie? Look at what you did to ghostface, he has literal ice outfit and am I expected to get excited when I see him? It's dumb. Nemesis with his blighted outfit, why? You ruined his look from RE3. He should've gotten a skin from the older games but not a blighted one. I just really hope Michael Myers doesn't get a blighted skin because I thought dbd was a game where we have these horror icons but you're changing their appearance? Oh I'm going against sadako? Hell yeah, oh wait, what is that new skin she has? THAT'S NOT EVEN SADAKO. All I hope is for people to not buy these outfits because they completely change the characters look and makes a licensed character less worthy. I mean, would you have bought nemesis if his blighted skin was his default?

youre the type who gets upset when other people put stickers on their own belongings, huh?

Imho toxic behaviour doesn't involve the kebabbing/camping/tunneling/tbagging/clicking, and does involve harassment, slur usage, and other side behaviours like breaking in-game rules of conduct.

All of the above can stay in the game because they aren't toxic (though they aren't fun either, so that's an argument for removal and compensation) except flashlight clicking, which poses a serious photosensitivity threat and as such should be removed or the game given a photosensitivity warning

agreed. Teasing and all that is fun if its not meant in a heinous way.

Post game chat is more or less scum of the earth

  • i think if the killer tunnels, face camps or babysits, they're fully deserving of all flashlight spam, t bagging what have you.

Like wise, if a survivor is a douche right off the bat and only exists to piss off the killer, they are deserving of alll tunneling, babysitting etc that ensues.

    karma, or whatever its called.

You feel like to attack someone over a post. Oh man you must be strong.

Survivors try to play dirty before the match even start, Killer can simply drop the lobby. I would play through it because I dont really care, but I dont blame other killers.

"survivors play dirty before the match even starts" has the same energy as "women don't go for nice guys"

you could just, i don't know. Get over it? its a video game. If anyone is really going to throw a temper tantrum because someone decided on using a different character, you probably shouldn't be in an online forum

  • the way i sees it, you can grin d and point dump into one character, match after match. OR, you get a good blood point mule perk set for your preferred player (weather thats killer or survivor is up to you), get on with some friends and have fun for a few rounds. Bank alllll those points until you cap, dumb it lal into your player of choice and repeat.

as a Legion main, yeah OP 4 some SWF meta jerks make it hard to enjoy the game, but if you and three buddies wanna run a train on some killers and get hella points, well..... thats kinda the game.

  • BIG MEANIE HEAD SURVIVORS ARE DOING EXACTLY WHAT THE GAME IS DESIGNED FOR AND NOW I DONT FEEL LIKE MOMMYS SPECIAL BOY ANYMORE

Get good or find a new game

  • bubba can't run across the map and constantly mow down survivors. after he downs one survivor, chainsaw jams for 12 seconds/cool down takes twice as long if successfully downing a survivor

  • i stopped reading as soon as i got to "their a sfw"

cmon dude its 2022. Figure out the diffferences between there, their and they're.

  • so, you throw the whole match making off, make everyone sit through another queue time, and miss out on blood points just because someone has a flashlight?

    YIKES youre fragile.
