We have auto aim. It automatically aims at nearby bushes and the environment.
This game just makes me want pallets and vaults irl. Just pallets scattered everywhere. Trying to shop down an aisle but don't want to be crowded? Drop a pallet.
Authority figure attacking you? Blind him with a flashlight and keep looping.
Then vault like the survivors do. I've never seen someone make a fast vault in real life but it's got the spirit.
-
I love it, good on ya lad.
Survivor 3 and 13 look a wee bit similar though. Must be my imagination.
-
Yes Ace's perk lets you keep item add ons.
As for the white ward be warned that if the killer has Franklins Demise the only way to keep your item that match for 100% certain is to hop into a locker before the killer can hit you. You have to decide what is more important: The item or the game. If you do not escape with that item because the killer knocked it out of your hand even with a white ward it's gone forever.
I've never tried using a white ward without an item but it sounds like it would work? Not 100% on that one.
-
It messes with my mental memory of the maps. I'm used to every map looking a particular way so even if it's just a fresh coat of paint/new breakable walls it throws me off.
-
...or a kill your friends match.
Y'know I tried the CJ tech once. It was on a wraith.
He hit me. That made me pretty sad.

I FINALLY just got it.
Eyyyyy good job!
-
Congrats! I'm happy for you!
Remember to play other killers though, Doctor can get you stuck in a rut of bad habits when it comes to finding survivors and learning tiles.
-
Hang in there friend. There's always the "hide in a locker until the first survivor gets injured" tech if you really, really don't want to play with the killer.
There are survivors like me out there that are attention magnets. We'll tank it, just pull us off the hook.
-
Here's my idea.
For every minute the survivor spends crouching the Entity awakens. Three minutes of crouching leads the Entity to emerge from the ground and stab the survivor in the butt. The survivor then screams and is unable to crouch for five minutes and makes injured noises.
Urban evasion makes it impossible to awaken the Entity in this way, but you look stupid crouch walking everywhere.

I did not know about this cosmetic til I opened the thread. This was my exact response irl.
-
You know in all my time playing this game I use the prop system about as much as I answer the "Did you have fun?" thing at the top of the scoreboard.
That is to say, very rarely.

Yeah I use it with self care and botany knowledge to get some speedy heals
If you want to be really nasty run a green medkit with a needle. Use the medkit during chase to heal to full, but when your medkit is down to a little bit use the needle. When I'm on my main one of my favorite things to do is heal to full in the killers face, use the sprint burst from the hit to get some distance and use the needle.
Next loop should have you at full health again. (alternatively you can use purple bottle for armor but I've had killers just wait it out.)
-
Draw the triangle.
Have no less than 8 traps on the map at all time.
Chase like a fat person. ie don't.

I mean, conceptually, Herobrine is pretty interesting from a paranormal horror sense. He's a very enigmatic being that we know very little about. We never actually see him, we don't know who he is, we never hear him speak—he's just a mysterious spectre. We don't know what he wants with us, but it certainly can't be good.
But like, at the same time, you know... Minecraft.
Humanoid? Check.
From a license? Check.
Spooky backstory? Check.
He's in.
-
Why does it have to be sarcasm?
-
I click mouse and get reward.
Very enjoy.
-
They're not bad, they're just not meta.
-
These are my mains right now. The four warriors of Light.
They're not so great at hiding but boy howdy I run for 3 gens on average. (Dwight has all the perks, the others I just enjoy playing.)
-
This was happening to me all yesterday when I was doing Ace's Journey. I did not have the perk setup to deal with that bologna.
I was mad.
-
It does completely step on Thrills toes and Thrill might as well not even be a perk anymore. The only thing I can recommend to survivors right now is to run soul guard. Rise like zombies against the sluggers.
-
I like the new forum banner btw.

See I love iron will but I realize that it's mostly used for stealth but the outfits I use are definitely not dedicated to that playstyle.
Here I made this for you cutie
-
I'm gonna play the devil's advocate and say a Healing Perk. Iron Will is great for not getting tracked down by the killer, crouching in the corner in a pool of your own blood.
"Oh please terror radius go away. If he finds me I'm instantly down. I might as well be running No Mither!"
But not you. You're a self care chad. You stand on top of rocks and start your guitar solo right in front of the killer. In a chase? Self care a little while he mindgames himself. He better hurry up and hit you or you're gonna heal to full.
I'm too aggressive for Iron Will. My fashion disaster I call an outfit lets the killer know where I am at all time.

"shake up your gameplay"
Normal chases; mindgame a loop/pallet and use my power/knowledge of the killer's power to outplay them.
Slinger; hope they are bad. getting zoned for free is not. Like it or not, the height of this game is the chasing, its where the interactions happen, its where outplay potential happens, etc. Playing immersed is not fun for either side.
sidenote; am i the only one who finds it weird to call killers by their names? (Rin, Caleb, etc)I think it humanizes the killers for people. People won't accept that the slasher they're facing is a killing machine for the Entity. No matter what people will always, always try to identify with the bad guy. Yin and Yang and all that.
-
Honestly I think a lot of problems would be solved if they gave Deathslinger a red sniper dot. It'd let people know where he's aiming and let them know if now is the time to wiggle or juke.
-
Guys, if you slug the survivor that you suspect has DS (if he's being bold) and start a chase with a new survivor do you realize how much pressure you're putting on the enemy team? It's the difference between "Oh god guess I better go get him." and "His timer will let me finish this gen, the killer is gonna camp."
Didn't say you had to let him run around and do gens etc. Just bap him.
-
Decisive being an issue is amazing to me in the first place.
Just go after someone else for one (1) minute and it's a non issue.
-
Lol, like everyone else is saying Pig is notorious for being a bad killer to vs. when it comes to tunneling, but I like the rest of the list.
-
This post is slightly/considerably/tremendously accurate.
-
It would open up a new playstyle where you drop all your hatchets at the start of the game and use Play with your food and other shenanigans. Might be interesting.
-
Licensed Killer Tier List in my opinion strength wise.
Freddy
Executioner
Cannibal
Ghostface
Shape
Pig
Demogorgon
-
I like playing Ghostface when I don't want to think. Just go into stealth and patrol gens. If they're not paying attention either stab them or expose them. If they are paying attention and you're not, the red spider web will tell you where they are. Then it's just a normal chase like every other killer, sprinkled with going undetectable mid-chase. (Double edged sword. It hides your glow but you're not registered in a chase so the Entity may not block windows)
-
I just can't believe someone would lag when playing against the Doctor. That never happens.
Also you can free up 3 perk slots by shocking at pallets and vaults.
-
Demogorgon, Legion when I'm playing my main survivor. I'm not bored of Blight yet so I enjoy my matches against him.
Trapper's nice. It's a bittersweet "we meet again" moment.
-
Alt title: Doctor main gets so confused by pallets it scares him too bad to continue playing.
-
Our local tournaments here ban killers, loadouts etc, trying to make an even playing field on an asymmetrical field if you catch my meaning. It's about as competitive as Super Smash Bros. which is to say Fox only, no items, final destination.
It's boring.
-
The only one I really break is the shack wall on Dead Dawg Saloon. I just ignore them the rest of the time. I haven't bothered figuring out which walls are good to break or not.
-
I did the thing. I was very Respetful.

I think they broke Blood Pact. Killer's, prepare to see SWF's zipping across the map INDEFINITELY now.
Cruel Limits, agreed. Still not appealing.
Mindbreaker, indeed. It really doesn't take long to get 50% of the gen repaired.
Slippery Meat, ehh...I kind of feel like they should increase the base chance of escaping Trapper's Bear Traps if they're gonna make this change because as it stands it's usually impossible to ever escape them. I oftentimes find myself attempting 5 or more times with no success.
Thanataphobia, Yeah, I guess that might be an interesting change to see. I don't know about it being a meta perk for Plague though since everyone knows you just cleanse and insta-heal back to 100%.
We're gonna live forever, I don't understand this change..David's a meathead, why would he be able to heal people faster? Doesn't really feel right with the character or in general what with all the other healing perks but I guess at the same time it still isn't all that appealing either. Hopefully BHVR wont screw it up and give him +100% healing on dying Survivor's though..
I imagine David healing people with WGLF like this.

Oh no not the store!
-
It's fine dude, feels like rank 20 drama though to be honest. (Which isn't bad. It's just it is what it is.)
Try what I used to do when I was a nooblet. At the start of a match hang out in a locker until the first person gets injured, then get out of the locker and get on a generator. That takes the starting match heat off of you which is good because the first chase can make or break a game in one sides favor.
If it's a tunneler you won't be the target, and if it's not the later chases aren't as high impact. If you know you're the weakest link, don't make yourself visible on the chain.

I never thought about using insidious. That sounds like a fun build to do. *laughs maniacally*
Oh Lord let me tell you I have seen some 500IQ plays from Doctors. Everyone expects Distressing from Doctor since it increases the range of your shock. You're not gonna sneak up on them. That would be silly.
I've seen Doctors run Dark Devotion and put their terror radius on the obsession, then use their static blast which makes the circle appear on the obsession instead of the Doctor, which just confuses everyone. On top of that I have been personally pulled off a generator because I saw that and was like "Okay the Doctor is over there." Nope. He had zero terror radius after doing that and I was completely caught off guard when he gen grabbed me.
There's also an add on that makes your illusions appear in Tier 2, right? Insidious only takes like, 2 seconds to hide you so if you lose sight of a survivor (or vice versa) just stand still. You lose your red glow and you look just like one of the thousand copies of Doctor that they've already seen all match. Sit next to a gen they're trying to push in an obvious position (ie don't try to hide, you're just a derpy illusion) and enjoy your gen grab.
Distressing+new trail of torment is gonna be nasty on Doc, for the same reasons. Doctor mains, on top of being able to consistently shut down loops and pallets are some cheeky little buggers. You really gotta keep an eye on them at red ranks. They're there for a reason. (Even if they usually have the game sense of a mole.)

What has happened before? Did they reduce the grind in the past?
Yeah. It used to take a lot longer to fill up the bloodweb nodes to buy things too. It was like 2 years ago iirc, but they let more perks be available in the bloodweb and I think some prices got cut. Plus they have bloody party streamer style offerings show up more. We're up to what, 60 or 70 perks on both sides now? Might be time to scrap tiers imo.
-
It has happened before, so never say never.

His Phantoms will give away a calm spirit user. Also still get the score event when hitting them.
Actually real talk that reminds me:
Newer players, if you see a Doctor phantom, walk into it in order to despawn it. Unless it's the actual Doctor using Insidious, then you probably need a change of trousers.
-
Between the sounds, tunnel set ups and a brown add on being required for him, I really think Demogorgon is one of the weakest killers on the roster, and I've never seen the Stranger Things series so I don't know if Demo is a noisy boy in canon but...
...he should just embrace it as soon as you load in, just start screaming the entire match. It wouldn't be much of a change from how it is now.
It won't make him stronger, but everyone likes inhuman screeching.

As someone who ranked up real fast as Hag & Trapper (level 50 & 40) because I like Trap Killers and then decided: "hey, let's give Bubba a try against Red Ranked Survivors"...
... this is way too ****ing accurate.
Oh well, if I lose another 30, or 60, or so, I'll be back where I need to be. Ridin' the Fail Train back down to low rank. Choo choo.
<3
I say it with love.
Edit: Doctor's counter is Calm Spirit not because it blocks the screams, but because we all know the Doctor player doesn't have the game sense to manually search for survivors.
