Tell me then, should killer be able to keep 5 gens up if he does nothing (no chases, no hits, just stands still) for first 5 minutes of the game ? Ofc not, he's not playing at all meaning he's failing utterly failing to put any pressure on the other side failling in his objective to kill survivors.
Now imagine that survivors somehow manage to all go down early when all pallets are up, when they are 4 people on 4 different places of the map, when they should be pressuring 4 different gens. Why should survivors that fail to evade / outplay the killer be given free get out of jail free card when killer did his job founding & downing all of them ? They shouldn't, at least not without investing in countering such strategy with perks, the same way killer shouldn't have strong stall that prevents survivors from winning just by default.
The problem is not in the game itself but in the players. Evading a hard sluggging killer either trough doing gens or just beiing good at picking up teammates is part of skillful gameplay. Pity that so many red ranks survivors are incredible potatoes, giving them more get out of jail free cards that they will rely on will make them even worse players while giving the good ones unneeded buffs.
even if they don't chase u noed is a free card for them one hit and the survivors out yk. Pair it up with bloodwarden and you have free kills even if you did chase badly. especially if your able to slug all of the survivor before you escape free 4k.

I don't see that many Bubba's who camp. If a Bubba decides to camp, it's usually against someone who they perceive was being toxic, such as a flashlight clicker or someone who sabotaged a hook in his face. Only other instance I've seen him camp is if he got someone in the basement or gens have flown by and they have no choice but to camp.
For me, I have found the most campy killers I face are the Twins (thankfully I only see them once out of 100 matches), most Hags and lots of Huntress's who like to proxy camp.
Contrary to what the forums want you to believe, I don't see an overabundance of camping, but I do see tunneling almost every other match.
Lol the thing is I never tbag or flashlight spam I thought about it but since I have also played killer and it's kinda annoying so I don't do it. I play on box, ps4, and switch so it might just be that. Even though it's cross-platform I get a lot of bubbas and ghost faces.

Lol, I'm surprised nobody said, Bubba.

Survivor HAS been hit hard. Much harder than killers.
Toolboxes and all their add-ons aren't even useful anymore. They are junk. Lunar Offerings were removed. Self Care is a joke. Balanced Landing was gutted. Mettle of Man was destroyed.
Maps have been totally reworked to have no more infinites, almost no safe palettes, and shorter loops in general. Totems are well-hidden. And ever map is as bright as high noon. Windows auto-close don't even need Bamboozle, palette vacuum is gone, EGC was introduced, sabotage is 99% irrelevant.
That's not even talking about direct buffs to killer baseline like bloodlust, or the dizzying array of detection perks that make stealth impossible. Speaking of stealth, killers are now better at hiding in this game than survivors are! And some killers can instadown from stealth!
Most of these were changes that needed to happen, and they are mostly for the good of the game. Same as the Mori, Old Ruin and Undying/Ruin nerfs, three things which absolutely did not belong in the game. But come on let's not pretend that survivor-side hasn't been hit hard.
I agree lol I went against this tbagging Ghostface who was tunneling and would mori everyone lol. He was having the time of his life. We have been hit hard recently I play the SWF side more nowadays but when I play solo I mostly stealth the fact that most killers cant realize we have been nerfed a lot kinda irritates me. It reminds me of those survivors on the forums who always call for killer perks to being nerfed it's really annoying like not everything needs to be nerfed all the time but I agree sometimes things need to be nerfed.

Thats not at all what i said.
read my comment above both of you and tell me what you think also being a killer requires skill and can be stressful but it's not all EZ. I think personally if your a good survivor your also a good killer bc you know how a survivor thinks and where they would go and do. Also, I hate when people do that just nerf survivor nerf killer obviously aldofer your very biased. Killer can be very easy but don't just say nerf all killer.

Yea I was thinking more of 3 5 7 %increase tho because you don't want it go faster than killers like Billy or clowns bottles with mobility tools that would make their tools less special
5 and 7 are too high tho most survivors are already slow 5 percent added to a killer would be too much 3 percent would be a nice addition tho it's just right. 3 percent could be a definite percent you could patrol gens faster and when you find someone you would lose the speed boost it would be helpful to newer killer good idea maybe 5 percent could work for slower killers like clown and other depending on the killer your playing it could range from 3 to 5 percent.
-
Maybe just add kindred as a passive add-on for them there not much of a gap I play SWF pretty often its more or less a dice roll there not a steady supply of info. That and the survivor emotes would bring them up to speed and help a lot. Nothing else besides that should be don't lower rank solo just suck tho bc nobody does gens at the very least they should have kindred at higher levels its much easier at solo queue but maybe they should have kindred too.
-
Spine chill and sprint burst when I was newer but then I started a new account and bought nancy. I love her perks and plus spine chill would make me very paranoid but now the killer can never find me in any of the games I play unless they are running bbq or I'm saving someone and they are nearby. Even then I'm better at running now I used those when I was newer.
-
No, it's useless maybe adds a few seconds to your life but it doesn't cheat the killer though it is more like prolonging your life for a few seconds. Maybe try to instead do SWF or try being stealthy when I play solo queue the killer can't find me unless they have bbq or they are camping and I go for saves. Usually, I just walk away from areas is how I do it if your new you may need to learn how to walk away instead of run. If you are not new and just need help to prolong chases try getting megs perks.
-
I think first they should change the appearance of the broken keys and rainbow keys. I like to bring broken keys to see the obsession sometimes and instead, I end up getting tunneled into oblivion. They should make the keys to where the killer gets an alert to when you're opening the hatch while the game is still going if all the gens haven't been finished but only if there is more than one survivor. Also if they open it in the middle of a game let there be a timeframe that it stays open before it closes depends on how much time u want. maybe like 20 seconds or less and then it closes again and it goes like normal except nobody can open with a key again and they have to wait until everyone is dead except one person or two people leave through the exit gate and that person goes through the hatch when it opens. So if they are playing an SWF they open the hatch and their friends cant find it they can't escape and it would still allow for the 4 escape achievement there is just a timeframe for them to escape. 20 or fewer seconds and then the SWF would suffer from losing a teammate because they weren't able to find the hatch also as the killer if u find the hatch u can close it further preventing anyone from escaping. extra solution this should only be for SWF though (If the survivors open the hatch when all the gens are done then endgame collapse starts but the hatch doesn't have a time limit though but you can find and close it).

I think the idea was to stop the speed boost as soom as you find a survivor. Same as bloodlust stops when you hit a survivor
he didn't really mention the perk in detail tho also with the speed boost you have to consider gen patrolling and stuff like that it would enable faster speeding around the map now that I think of it meaning hed need a more in-depth analysis of the perk he wants to be created and think about its cooldown uses and how much speed increase it's supposed to do if he wants it implemented. But yeah this would be helpful for newer killers and a buff to more experienced players could be good. Could get a lot of outrage though too.
-
@AnnoyedAtTheGame said:
Nothing wrong with sprint or dead. Its ds and bt that is the proble in games.
Bt had no colld down. 2 surcicors on hook yeah get wm both off whu not
bt does have a cooldown for the survivor that gets unhooked it's not supposed to deactivate it's actually a perk that's supposed to encourage the survivor to go unhook meaning that a survivor that you found and could potentially hook and if you want also camp him. They went for the save and know your aware that they have the perk end them. Survivor main here.
-
Maybe as a perk but then it would be like a double boost since you also have bloodlust and on top of the considering the killer speed. Would be maybe too much of a buff maybe think of a timer also or lose the speed boost once you find a survivor and then you could chase the survivor till your bloodlust activates or you down them. Or maybe make it a 1 or 2 percent speed increase could be nice. I'm a survivor main tho so what do I know lol.
-
Dead hard is currently not working they are fixing it lmao. also, no exhaustion perks need reworking sprint burst just makes you faster but you're still able to get hit I hate to say this but maybe get good. also, balance landing is trash tbh unless you're at a map with extreme height I have it on a loadout on one of my characters and I can tell you that many times it is a wasted perk slot looking at this post might be a sign to trade it out tbh. I don't use sprint burst or dead hard but I see other people who use them and there is clearly a counter to them. also dead hard is broken now so try to hit the survivor they will end up exhausted on the ground since the perk has been broken for a while now. I used to be a hardcore sprint burst user when I was new but the downside is that you can't really run until it's time to use that perk unless you have a different button set to activate it. That was maybe 3 years ago I'm a console user btw. also prevent them from the window is undermining the use of the perk which is to prolong the chase if only by some more seconds unless they can get to a pallet and even then you could still down them as the hits are killer sided in ping.
-
Personally, I don't think ds is a perk that is supposed to be an anti-tunneling perk so yeah. Survivor main here its like a get out of jail free card nothing more. There nothing u can do to stop tunneling ds is only like a couple more seconds of your life you'll just die again. Its made so that people can escape possibly and for SWF. I have seen nobody mention this maybe it wasn't made to stop tunneling Devs know that killers have to tunnel. it is Mostly for higher-level survivor players who can hit the skill check. If they want an anti-tunneling perk they should make a new one altogether. Just my take on it I have ds but not as a teachable perk yet plus it's only one use so its kinda waste of perk many of the swf I play with don't really use it maybe one person in my team.

My point is that the killer is playing AGAINST you, and that there are situation when camping is mandatory aswell as situation that would make your game completely collapse if you do so.
When the last gen is at 99%, dont you facecamp and tunnel that gen as a survivor? Or do you start to work on a new one? Well, if the killer defends the gen you probably start a new one, if not you camp the gen until he leaves, don´t you?
huh no, I do other objectives if he's camping the gen why would I stay? That's wasting time when I could be breaking totems or healing someone else. Also if it at 99 I would probably find someone else. If a killer is that dedicated to camping the gen why would I stay

I think you dont get it. You pretend like its either impossible to get rank 1 as a killer without camping, or that its mandatory to do so...
You can´t be a very experienced or knowledgeable killer player. Its either because you are very naive, you simply lack the gamesenese to know whats going on around you when you play killer (no offense).
There are situations when camping aswell as tunneling, slugging or whatever the killer is accused to do wrong is necessary in order to win, or to get better results. There is nothing wrong in doing so.
This game is played VERSUS. The killer is not in your team. He is playing AGAINST you, not with you.
When survivors immediately unhook people or swarm the hook as a team, you can waste their time by playing around the hook or simply refuse the unhook completely. Why should you not? If you completely remove a survivor from the game by tunneling, there is 1 survivor less that can do the objective for everybody else...
Survivors dont get a debuff for being hooked... somebody that has been hooked twice repairs gens with the same speed as somebody that never got seen by the killer at all. To overall slow down the survivors objective you have to remove survivors from the game, there is no way around that.
And the only way to play a match where everybody gets hooked 3 times (12 hooks overall), is when the survivors actually refuse to play efficient. When you play killer you should know when you are at the point when you can go for 12 hooks, and when its bad play when you try to get the best possible result. If you lack that knowledge or gamesense, you are simply a toy for the survivors that will do nothing for you in return.
What is your point? That you need to camp?

Try playing killer and you'll probably get better at playing survivor. Idk tbh I keep getting tunneled lol even without ds everything is trash idk why the killers feel like they have to tunnel you out of the game. Im never toxic either. Seems like we both have problems.

As long as both get done it doesn't matter both are trash and ruin experiences as long as it gets done right there no problem. Obviously, moris were more of a problem but keys need their fair share of dealing with asap also.

As is consistently referenced above completing a healing action unlocks the perk no 100% heal nonesense. If you actually look at the average surivour build its has to compete with bt, ds, unbreakable iron will, adrenaline etc. Second wind has helped me out a lot but you need to tune some of the strong survivour perks so it seems to be more of an option.

The matchmaking doesn't work like that. It doesn't matter if they are the best survivor or not, they are close to your rank and the game will match you with them. This isn't bad matchmaking you just got outplayed. And a record absolutely doesn't mean #########. For all you know, the majority of those escapes could have been LUCK. Rank seven is three ranks away from rank 4, and matchmaking putting you against them is matchmaking working as it should.
Be respectful please.

You standing on the hatch, teabagging or pointing, is toxic.
You can't expect players to not play the game the way it is intended. That is not toxic to attack you as pig.
Every other game i play has a guy in the game who
- Has as script to spam flashlights
- Teabags constantly, bonus points if they have OOO
- Calls me the "N word" after the game is over
- Harasses me in chat for being a camper/tunnel/insert other thing.
As a survivor, i often get killers who offer me the hatch at the end, or do other nice things. Rarely are they toxic to me.
Survivors are more toxic IMO. Especially SWF.
not everything is toxic.

moris should not be an add on, it takes up too much bp from a extremely grindy game. just have it so a killer can turn it on or off or at this point just make one mori and give it out for free. Because the only bonus from the mori is avoiding unbreakable and DS now, but who saves DS? Only smarter survivors will ever save it. I am just tired of the grind and having like 10 red moris that are now just a way to avoid some perks when i would rather just farm more blood points to grind.
Edit: if the killer could turn on or off moris the survivors would know if it is on.
If I were you I would just get to a high rank im at rank 11 now I haven't seen survivors with any ds or deadhard. More experienced survivors may not use those perks I'm not sure tho.

To me, it is just another get out of jail free card that the survivors already have so many. They can plunder it without you knowing and win when they should not. Not all killers can patrol like Nurse, Spirit, Billy, or Freddy. So gens will be done. And the worst part is that it makes the killer think twice about killing survivors because if they do key comes into play. I new moris needed a change. So I only think it is fair keys get a change. espcially when they bring an addon to put the hatch somewhere they know.
yes they should just remove both of them.
-
Honestly, I think just try playing SWF with one other person you and that person can have each other's backs.
@Zaytex said:
You already have Borrowed Time as a anti-camping measure. As for this request, you already have it in the form of Camaraderie.
Also, I think people want to use that for other stuff instead of having to take up a perk slot for a potential camper all things aside there not much you can do anyway. It's a strategy that lots of killers use. Maybe just get to higher ranks those killers tend not to camp since they know how to play properly.
-
I only level up survivors for their perks I'm not really looking for an innate perk. Hopefully, they don't add this.
-
This may be a little too complicated trying to play minigames and focusing on you surrounding some survivor can't even hit the skill checks not to mention a long minigame lol. Seems too complicated. Chases should be the focus and hitting the skills checks.

@h0lden said:
Every community has a toxic portion. But logic dictates that since there are by far more survivors, there will be more toxic survivors. But that does not mean killers are not toxic. Like everything you said is true and it happens more than a killer looking like they will give hatch only to close it. Slugging is complained about, but there are many killers that need to at points. and sometimes "tunneling" is the smart thing to do, if they are right there, why not go for a second down? It was their own fault for not playing smart. I am a killer main, but when I play survivor I get tunneled, but I mean I suck and I get they wanna pick off the weak link. Personally I try my best not to tunnel unless or slug unless it makes sense or if they sent me to a bad map or brought a key.
Can you explain to me why keys are such a big idea I just don't understand?

so good news to all new killers. those toxic d-bags pretty much dissipate after about rank 14. green/purple ranks are generally not toxic. now i dont have hundreds of hours into killer so i dont know for sure but i noticed a serious decrease in toxicity once i got past those beginning ranks. i havent gotten a single ds yet either. maybe its good karma for not running ds as a surv
I agree I have never used ds and currently I'm rank 11 and I never see any of the solo survivors using ds seems like newer players may use ds. I tried using ds once tho I can never hit the mark lol.
-
I think this is slowly becoming true there are lots of toxic killers nowadays I'm thinking of becoming toxic myself but I would never chase a killer. The community is getting increasingly toxic by the day and I also agree. Every time I play solo I never get any good survivors I haven't encountered any toxic survivors tho except for one game where this girl was t-bagging me. I was playing Demogorgon inside of his map and I still won. If I'm playing SWF with one of my friends I won't be toxic tho I usually just buddy up with one person maybe try to do that. It's better to play with one other person instead of 3 other survivors in an SWF.

And I'm a survivor, not a killer.
There is a constant wave of nerfing killers in the past 3 months. Mori was fine as it was. Its a meme offering.

I literally saw this in action 2 weeks ago. Someone switched to a key with 10 seconds left in the lobby, giving me barely enough time to equip Franklins. Then 10 seconds into the match I saw her open a chest on a hill and deposit her key for safekeeping.
Needless to say I tunnelled her into the ground, because that was a scummy move she tried to pull.
Keys are very unhealthy for the game. They don't let you "earn" an escape. They allow you to escape without completing your objectives, which is sort of the opposite of earning it.
you have to survive and do the gens to escape with a key what are yall so toxic about keys for? Tunneling because of a key o.o what is wrong with this community. I could understand if they were being toxic to you but what if they needed to do a challenge or anything. This makes no sense.

eigther nerf both sides OP stuff or leave it all in.
i dont see why you, as the survivor, should be allowed to ruin my, the killers, gaming experience, but i in return arent allowed to ruin yours. that would be quite hypocritical.
What o.o mori was like a free win what fun is it to kill someone after the first down. Hatch ain't fun anyway it's no hypocritical it makes tunneling less hard and this may also decrease the number of people who bring decisive strikes to given games. On the killer side, tho yall are starting to tunnel harder because of the nerf of more which is really confusing like how is mori so important or fun. Do you not wanna chase or have to do anything to win and Michael Myers used to be able to mori people while they were alive which was really unfair also. Keys are trash and if your good then you could easily win practice makes perfect.
-
Keys are kinda useless tbh tho IDK why people care about them that much nerf whatever they suck unless ur in the endgame and trying to survive not to mention you have to find it first.
-
Actually today on xbox I got hit several times even though it never hit lol they really need to fix the hitboxes tbh I played against a wraith that kept getting hits even though it missed and also several other killers on pc its not like that though.
-
Bruh in a lot of places that's the only thing survivors can do is dodge and zig-zag what do you expect and also I was playing against a huntress on xbox and she was really good she hit everything and aimed really good I think with practice you can become way better. Survivors are not the problem and killers aren't either practice goes a long way.

Scroll up and read then.
If you camp, mori or tunnel you have no right to complain about these things and seeing as how toxic you are getting in the chat seems that you do might want to evaluate your priorities not everyone is in a swf and not every swf has an endless amount of information. If they put bloodlust tier 1 and take off mori, keys and hatches then maybe people will stop genrushing. As a solo survivor I believe lots of genrushers are solo survivors they have no idea whether or not someone else is working or gens or if someone is doing an objective either. Swf is a little better but unless their pros at communicating unlike most swf i've been in we just communicate if someone is being chased and whos working on gens. Don't group people into one group but people like you make me believe that survivors should be more toxic you do all this stuff and cant win without it but if someone was to bring ds you'd be pissed.

I do main Killer, but since this is how to be toxic as survivor, I went all out on what annoys me as Killer. If this was the reverse, it'd be the same thing (except no Killer or their perks really frustrate me, not even a first hook mori).
However, I do play both sides regularly, I just prefer Killer when it isn't bugged to hell.
Thanks for the advice but as a solo survivor you have to be as toxic as it gets since lots of solo survivors don't really do objectives or anything for that matter. Even if I deserve zero respect it doesn't matter the devs don't care about solo survivor. For the killers that tunnel and slug they also deserve zero respect but I mean its a tactic yk.

Adrenaline is also only toxic if in a SWF with 4 man Adrenalines.
Dead Hard is less toxic, but more infuriating, but it also says "I can't run the Killer around efficiently without being able to press E to make up for my mistake", so there's that.
BTW, I play both sides, and I feel this way no matter what side I'm on.

What about the dead zones that survivors are starting to have because there's no pallets due to the new random pallet spawns also have you forgotten there are no safe pallets basically its an easy win for you killers. Take that somewhere else.

Abundance of killers? Tell me how the majority of killers don't need to break the walls, which you even admit are infinites.
Which leads me to my next point, the walls require you to go out of your way to break them. If you do them while patrolling, that's 2.5 seconds, plus whatever time it took you to get there spent not patrolling generators. Which means all 4 survivors will most likely be on gens. That means 4 gens will have progress, and you can only go after one survivor.
If you break it in a chase, that will allow the survivors to get more distance on you. Which will allow them to get to another loop, which they can then string together with multiple other loops. This is without taking into account how balanced the loops are.
Do you see how much time it wastes to get it broken? And how the majority of the time it'll be a detriment to spend time breaking them?
Unless its a swf it very unlikely that all 4 would be on gens tbh now days not many survivors be on the gen like that. They are either trying to help chasing killer or just being slow. Then the one survivor trying to win has to face those problems what are you talking about? The walls are quick and it used to be two pallets on that area which would be about 4.5 seconds or more so basically the wall shortened the time and it also makes a pallet completely useless after that the survivor has nothing to use.
