Are you talking about on the HUD where it normally shows actions like generator or healing? In that spot the only diamond shape I can think of is the one with the skull in the center. That one shows the survivor is interacting with a killer object like Trapper's traps or shooing Artist's crows away.
If it's a diamond shape above the action bar, that just means the item's efficiency is being affected. Things like medkits have lower efficiency on self use.
Not sure if those are what you're referring to.

I used to use it to mindgame jungle gyms. Activate Insidious to make them think I left and then when they left the safety of the tile begin chase again.
-
Survivor has caps. The more I'm being chased means the less I'm able to do gens. There's only 6 unhook opportunities in a 12 hook game and the rest is through healing. Boldness is probably the easiest to get between chases and totems.
-
They wanted to bridge the gap between SWF and Solo but all these nerfs over the last year greatly impacted SoloQ more. They've made the gap even further. What you're feeling is how bad SoloQ is.
-
I was just thinking the match must be going terribly wrong for the killer for this to happen. Or survivors are playing the most selfish game and just let's everyone die and play for hatch.
-
Turrets are a waste of time to setup. It's like Oni or Legion where you're better off ignoring. I think the problem is Xeno is like Trickster and no matter what you do you're going to take a hit. Can't even mindgame pallets or vaults which I thought is what killers liked about chases.
-
They have been getting nerfed. And SoloQ is suffering because of it. The only way to play survivor anymore is to SWF.
SoloQ is just easy 4Ks for killers. SWF ruins that for killers so it's no wonder why they want it changed.
-
Lemme see those giant calves Vittorio 😍
-
Devs have been straight up nerfing survivor too much just to give casual killers a chance to enjoy the game sweat free but at the same time SoloQ is being pushed further to the bottom of MMR and killers get to deal with all the SWF in higher MMRS thus the cycle continues.
The other thing is survivors are receiving so many nerfs but it's doing nothing for all the things survivors are complaining about. It's still the least riveting gameplay.
-
It's actually been complained about from streamers I've seen. Doesn't seem like it's gotten into the "this must be nerfed" movement like so many other perks.
-
They've really been turning the game into 4K simulator lately. If I'm doomed to die at least let me have a good time but they can't even get that right. It's like they want everyone to play with their brains off.
-
I was just thinking this earlier and I think the answer is no. The devs are constantly nerfing anything inconvenient and challenging about the game. There is no incentive to try getting better when you know the devs with nerf things.
-
Not sure what people were expecting. Back in the first AMA when he was acknowledged it only sounded like he was a blip on the radar. Whereas Twins had something more definitive. Seems like it could be a long while. Especially with Skull Merchant and 3-gen stalemates being a higher priority.
-
Not very. Used to play 4 hours during the week and probably 8 on the weekend. Now the game's lucky if it gets 30 minutes out of me.
-
Last one opened an hour before they started answering questions. So I imagine by noon eastern time you can.
-
I haven't even seen a Xeno. Are people even buying the DLC.
-
I mean people were complaining about Singularity the first 24 hours and how EMPs were too strong so I don't know how it's any different this patch when it's the other way around.
-
I liked Jonah's old voice too. Had the least obnoxious injure sounds and the hook screams wasn't pounding the eardrums like most of the roster. Very chill voice.
-
I've stopped using BP offerings because whenever I do I get tunneled out at 5 gens and less than 5K BP all while killer gets all the benefit so it's no wonder survivors choose to genrush.
-
Were you playing Oni by chance? I feel like his FOV is weird lately.
-
3 gens happen even without the intention or survivor fault. Play Deja Vu on Dead Dawg a few times and you'll see it's a natural 3 gen.

I'd definitely love to see the math on this one!
My math is wrong in the original comment but the difference is negligible.
Survivors run at a base of 4.0m/s. To run 60m it takes 15 seconds.
Survivors with MFT move at 4.12m/s. To run 60m it now takes roughly 14.56 seconds.
Even in smaller numbers, to run 8m with MFT it'll take 1.94 seconds.
Of course tiles aren't 60m apart but survivots are still going to loop you the same without the 3% haste.
-
MFT doesn't even seem like a perk that extends chase time as dramatically as people think. (Every 60m ran saves .12secs which is roughly when BL1 activates).
MFT seems more like a whiffing perk which is why I'm guessing Coup got buffed.
-
Nerf Lethal and I promise you'll see less people using Distortion. People run Distortion because they don't want to be found within 5 seconds of starting a match.
-
Almost always on survivor until about 9PM. Sometimes it might switch to no incentive or killer but still survivor for the most part.
-
During the PTB the trap just falls off until the duration of the perk expired. I think the killer as to break it themself for the trap to work so perks like Dissolution and dream pallets wouldn't activate. Wesker and Legion can vault trapped pallets safely but if they use their Iri addons that break pallets then they activate it.
-
Resi got nerfed when Spine Chill did.
-
Congrats. I got mine during the anniversary and suddenly became a Vittorio main soon after.
For the memes I like to have out my P100 and then switch to P0 Scoops Steve at the last second for my own lol
-
I feel like incentives to be off gens are being removed without any suitable replacements.
I can't remember the last time I had survivors chasing me around with flashlights.
I don't see anyone run Clairvoyance/boon/Overzealous.
Any Means might work if killers choose to ignore Chemical Trapped pallets.
It's hard for solo to coordinate sabo's or Head Ons.
Thus survivors just do gens.

It's funny to see how people say the game should be balanced around high MMR and then there are tweets like this. Just seems like people want easier games than actual balance.
-
TCM isn't going to be balanced for the competitive minded or the people who want fairness. There's also zero matchmaking so you could very well be matched with new players. The serious players will leave after realizing this.
-
I do but it's been a lot less of killer lately. Maybe 1 or 2 matches a day. Nothing to do with fairness or balance...I just have a hard time feeling engaged in the role.
-
Snoozefest of a killer. I'd rather have Skull Merchant. At least there is some degree of interaction with her.
-
Seems too complex for me.
-
This post reminds me of the nerf DH but Eruption is fine threads from earlier in the year.
-
It's probably much easier for killer to reach higher MMR since the game is balanced for a higher killrate. Survivors also lose MMR if someone dies. So it's not any wonder why players have games like that
-
I feel like this combo is in the opposite situation that MFT is in. In order to run BU+FTP you need to be healthy which requires either a teammate or a medkit. On top of that, you now have 2 people off gens (the one in chase and the one waiting to make the FTP play). I do wonder how much time the endurance saves vs healing back up to do it again.
-
Is it really mistakes when a survivor can't be expected to run the whole match uninjured and if they do they are probably playing super stealth with no interactions to the killers.
-
BHVR is working on that Silent Hill project amongst other things. I think they are doing alright for themselves.
-
Honestly I'd report for not playing as intended. Not sure why the onus is on survivor to progress the game and not the killer who is right there.
-
As casual as I am things are fine.
-
If Spine Chill is at the bottom at 6% does it mean the remaining 115 or so perks aren't worth using in comparison. Just weird to see Spine Chill bottom out that list.
-
I'll take all the SM, Weskers, Knights even being camped by a Bubba. But give me a Wraith and I probably let out the biggest sigh.
I don't even find playing him all that engaging either.
They also removed Lightburn so the little bit of interaction you once could make is gone. At least that part was interesting.
-
If pickrate is a valid reason to nerf then do you think Wesker should be nerfed by that logic?
-

BHVR balances for low skill casual survivors, not SWF's.
The majority of the DBD player base are casual low skill survivors, so it makes sense.
I would have thought they balance for casual, low skill killers because heaven forbid 1 or 2 gens pop in an unreasonable amount of time. And considering hits to DH, CoH and BNP it still doesn't seem good enough to please the killer base.

Remove Yamaoka.
Rework Treatment Theater
-
Based on the questions of the last satisfaction survey we may get Fog Whisperers and other creators added. 😅
-
Get Felix as either Cloud or Cid.
Maybe Yun-Jin as Tifa.
Jeff as Vincent.
Knight as any one of my namesakes.
Dredge as one of the Jenova forms or even Chaos/Zeromus/Neo Exdeath.
And Clown as Kefka.
-
I liked old Sadako. Current Sadako feels a little mindless for my liking.
-
Don't think I like the idea of survivor perks being like anything suggested. I don't even think what they did to gut DH out of the meta is even acceptable.
