The better question is what would incentivize you not to tunnel. Definitely not longer gens because that's been proven that people will still tunnel.
-
I think it would be more relieving to know that when someone leaves the lobby that I can rule out it being a 4 man SWF.
-
That would just change his traps from forcing survivors into traps to strictly anti-loop. He could just walk through trapped pallets for free while survivors would have to play around it.
-
Remember--tunneling is a perfectly fine strategy and should be accepted but entity forbid gens fly.
-
Yesterday the Overwatch devs announce huge improvements to the Solo experience for next season. Meanwhile who knows when we'll get a better Solo experience (probably never according to the AMA).
-
Flashlights killswitched for the third time....I kid.
Maybe X Files? Aren't Mulder and Scully always seen with flashlights in hand?
-
Wraith -- power is too basic. Simply not interactive or engaging for me.
Jane makes injury sounds that I find annoying.
-
I know the focus is always on pallets but instead of less pallets they should give us more jungle gyms or T-L walls or even those weird tiles on Ormond/Yamaoka. Plus the consensus seems to be that mindgames are the best part of chase and those sort of tiles would be ideal.
-
Mikaela's looks like a recolor of another set. The hair is the only great thing about it.
Haddie's outfits are strike me as drab. This would be another. Almost like it was for a pajama set. (unless that is what they were going for)
Zarina's looks like a recolor too. Again hair is only good thing about the set.
If backpacks are becoming such a common thing I wish charms would be the location for them.
-
I recently got into Overwatch. I'd say people who play DBD are pretty well behaved in comparison.
-
If Kate becomes free then that means Clown would also be free along with free Pop.
-
Flashlights and related perks were killswitched twice recently.
Any Means Necessary was killswitched at one point for 2 months.
-
They probably are being careful about too many gen defense perks because then people will just have them all in their loadout kinda like how it was during Overcharge/Eruption/CoB/Pain Res days and forget anything else that exists.
-
Because every other survivor perk is trash level in usability.
-
For me to say it's a party game it would need more RNG elements and unpredictability affecting gameplay and that wouldn't make DBD what it is.

A Nurse's Calling.

Plenty of people who run Windows -don't- just run from pallet to pallet pre-dropping.
Plenty of people who don't run Windows DO just from from pallet to pallet pre-dropping.
Now I do think Windows should be changed due to it's absurdly high pick-rate, but dropping loads of pallets isn't a good reason.
You think a ~30% pickrate is absurdly high? Were you not around when DH had nearly a 60% pickrate? Also, nerfing because of pickrate is not a good reason to nerf.
-
That's a player problem and not really the perk's problem. I don't use Windows and even I'm guilty of that.
-
I don't think killers realize that once they get their first down and hook other survivors are slowed down tremendously as someone else as to take chase and another to unhook. And if chases are fast killers can gain a reasonable amount of pressure in no time.
-
I'd like to know where these genrushers are at because in my lobbies it takes 4 minutes for the first gen to pop. Absolutely no one is pushing objective.
-
Too drab. Could use an aesthetic update.
-
I also meant to put this in General talk...not really a feedback or suggestion. Probably should remove.
-
Can you blame people though for want to SWF. SoloQ is a killer stomping ground.
-
The dev update came out before anything so I feel like whomever it is will be largely overshadowed by Trickster.
-
Aura reading is very common on killers. It's a counterpick at this point. It's almost like killers running Fearmonger because they know how common Exhaustion perks are for survivor.
-
I don't know what it is with balancing survivor perks that require steep requirements for subpar benefit. I think the whole "getting value for free" narrative get in their head.
-
I hope they get flashy with them like Call of Duty's playercards. Allows for more personal customization. And if they really wanted to fill in the prestige spot, they could also do something like what Call of Duty does and put an emblem there.
-
The Deep Wounds screen is a handicap in itself for a measly 3%. If they were going for such a requirement I would have hoped it would be on par with Soul Guard in comparison where keeping a status effect at least feels rewarding.
-
If it means no hatchets thrown at me 2 seconds into a match then sure...make it a deal.
-
Seems like that would destroy any value from Corrupt since Corrupt buys you time for finding your first chase and down.

Final Fantasy is my absolute most favorite franchise of all time. It was only a matter of time before I confronted you about your name haha.
Haha. Great games. I especially love their mascots like chocobos, cactuars and the like.
-
S tier outfit. Tarhos wins this year's costume contest.
-
Early on when someone Plot Twisted near me I would heal them but never finish the heal. Isn't altruistic healing faster than the time to get yourself back up. Not sure why anyone would waste their Plot Twist when I'm standing right there.
-
And how would you make flashlights more skillful? It's no different than Trickster's power tbh.
-
Some survivors would rather go for blinds than do gens. Lightborn shuts down that interaction. 4 survivors with flashlights probably would tell me that's 4 survivors who aren't really focused on gens.
-
Kinda echoing what ChaosWam wrote but it's probably easier to nerf killer things because killer is just 1 person and can be easier gauged on what might be overbearing statistically. Whereas there are 4 survivors, 2 of them may have DH but neither of them are very good at using it so it doesn't really affect killrate much.
-
The meta is always going to be the same no matter how much they try to change it.
Survivors will always have perks that help their longetivty, extend chase or speed up objective.
Killers will always have gen defense, tracking or alternatives to slowing survivors down (Sloppy or Plaything).
Everything else is just overlooked.
-
I haven't seen new SM since the rework released. I imagine since Trapper is more accessible everyone would rather play him. But I imagine a stationary drone sensor would make scans easier to get on jungle gyms or many indoor maps where pathing is tight
As for Borgo, sounds like the added pallets are going to change very little considering the safety of tiles as been reduced.
Just initial impressions.
-
Whispers had always looked like someone breathing out and their breath being shown in tje detail.
More recently Call of Brine looking like a spide thing.
And Blood Rush. I would have never saw Renato and a heart in the perk. Not even sure what I was seeing.

So it’s not that good but you run it exclusively?
I run it because I hate being on gens and it gives me something alternative to do. Plus the few times I do pull it off is when a teammate can't quite make it to the exit gate. I can just pick them up and they are free. I find it far stronger in end game.
To add on, it likely has more utility from SWF as I can't coordinate downs with my teammate.
-
I've been running a BU/FTP build almost exclusively. Now I'm only SoloQ but I'd be lucky if I can pull it off. Seems to be successful 1 in 15 games.
I would think this combo would be great for killers. One less person off a gen. Sacrificing a health state...which needs someone else to heal me up again. A lot of the time I have to rely on a medkit since I can't coordinate heals.
-
One thing I've learned is if the Blight is very close to you and in the middle of a Slam...get up close and mess with their FOV. I noticed this causes a lot of Blight players to hestitate and may force them into cooldown which might give you time to get to a loop.
Also if a tile is tall enough and he's trying to Rush, crouch down. Break that LoS as much as possible. It'll make them second guess on the rush.
-
Thanks for all the answers all!
-
Ghostface. Especially when it's there and then suddenly disappears. My paranoia goes up wondering if I'm about to get jumpscared.
Also Dredge.
-
I don't use the overlay a lot but have you tried to manually turn it on? Pressing Shift + ` ?
-
This isn't a permanent way to get Endurance. It's just an event. Killers get the better effects from Haunts anyway.
-
They are good during boosted maps. Last week I was so sick of Borgo I had to resort to offerings.
-
I don't think they can even do tails properly considering dragon Artist and cat Plague both have their tails tightly hugging their body.

1- She can see scratch marks and hear voices with headphone. even a monkey can know where they survivor is
2- she has addons of low rarity that literally tells her the exact location of the survivor when near them
3- she has 2 addons that make her get her power back instantly. either be stuned or break a pallet.
4- she has a green addon that recovers her power by 40% faster.
5- she can come out of phase and hit you before you have a chance to dtop the pallet at the correct side
6- tell me you dont know what you talking about without telling me you dont know what you talking about......

i dont even know if you are trolling or not. i am assuming you are trolling for our sanity
The reason Nurse's blinks changed to special is she greatly benefitted from Exposed builds. I've never seen any Spirits run Starstruck/Infectious builds.
-
Not sure what that would accomplish. She can't really snowball like Nurse did.
