Why use multiple perks for suppressing your TR? Isn't that just wasted overlap?
True but I don't really make good builds at all. I'd rather play for my own amusement than making a build that makes sense.
-
I loved Trail of Torment before the buff and it's even better now. I've been doing full stealth builds with Dark Devotion, ToT, Machine Learning and Tinkerer. It's fun.
-
I never liked the Plaything/Penti combo. Sure you can say don't cleanse Plaything but try telling your SoloQ team that. Then you have to keep track of others totem and hope they don't break a dull for something like their Inner Healing.
Also your Solo teammates will prioritize searching over gens which is another slowdown in itself.
-
I'm probably more excited for the Christmas in July and Greek Legends sets.
Haven't really been feeling the game lately.
-
SWF perk. Especially when combined with Reassurance.
-
Corrupt is not worth running tbh. Better running Lethal.

I don’t understand how this combo has anything to do with CI
Corrupt deactivates once someone is downed. No Mither and Plot Twist let's you down yourself thus removing Corrupt.

I only see people who primarily play killer do this. I suspect they believe if they announce on the forums (and they think the devs peruse these forums regularly) that they’re quitting because X was difficult or bothersome for them as a killer—just like OP has done—BHVR will buff killers or nerf survivors or do whatever it takes to help killers flourish more easily in their matches. It’s basically meant to guilt the devs into making changes so that the people leaving (again, I’ve only seen killer mains do this dramatic leave announcement thing) are convinced to stay. Think about a kid trying to guilt trip their parents into doing what they want. It’s that, except with adults.
I watch his streams. He rotates back and forth between killer and survivor. If anything, he has a more unbiased opinion due to this.

Balanced Landing. I just hate the stagger. Feel like the main gen on Toba is a no go without it.
-
When it takes nearly 5 minutes to pop 1 gen and nearly 3 minutes for gens 2 and 3 to pop and still get accused of genrushing.
-
If it's anything like Tools of Torment's midchapter release it's likely going to end up 30-60 minutes before the actual update.
-
If they are alive by end game I don't think it matters if they have the combo or not...chances are they escape anyway.
-
I don't know but with my games lately it seems like killer has it pretty easy. AFKs, dying immediately on hook, disconnects, people hiding over doing gens. SWFing or uninstalling seems like the better options.
And this is probably why killers have a problem...they get used to the above happening that when I team actually tries suddenly they don't know how to manage.
-
Any killer is viable it's just people care way too much about 4Ks and streaks and not taking a loss.
-
Not crazy about replacements as it is and especially not of the idea of freely dc'ing either.
-
Doesn't matter to me if they nerf it or not as I don't use it but I still think people got gaslit into thinking it's a busted perk.
-
I sometimes turn off Anon and private profile. It's amazing the difference I am treated when I am public.
-
With content creators turning those broadcasts into memes and jokes it's no wonder why they don't do them.
-
Take advantage of that terror radius. Run Hyperfocus/Stakeout. Makes a difference. Who needs Prove.
-
Here I look at the Ranger Medkit and think I can get the same for free from Botany.
-
I've heard a few veteran streamers say that this whole movement of balance after 6.1 has sacrificed fun and DBD was at its most fun when both sides could bring OP things to the table. Also survivor have lacked the freedom to chill...it's either do gens or have zero hope of escaping.
-
I feel like you're talking about Dark Devotion?
-
I'd like to have some of these Weskers. All I'm getting are Wraiths and Huntress and I find them an absolute snoozefest.
-
Thank you for this!
-
The perk is wildly overrated. I think survivors only like it because it's a chase perk and chases are what everyone thinks is what makes the game fun.

well i did it they ask for my in game id and got back to me tell me they looking in to it but no code.
3.5 weeks ago they wrote me a "we'll look into it" and still haven't heard from them so good luck lol
-
Unless hatch spawns right at survivor's feet killer usually wins hatch. Then it's exit gates which also tend to lean in killer's favor.
-
Going to be feeling it more when PT gets nerfed. Not sure why they removed the BP bonuses from medkit addons as well.
It'd be nice to have a decent game and feel like I can walk away with more than 30K more consistently.

i'm curious... what's going on with ironworks?
I wish I could provide screenshots right now but the area in front of main building...the tiles and trees are lined up so it's clear LOS from killer shack all the way down to the other side. The area around the giant log pile and killer shack is mostly a giant dead zone with maybe 1 pallet. I just don't think it's a great map for Ghostface specifically.
-
They need to look into the Yamaoka realm, Coal Tower and Ironworks. Ironworks seems to have the same problem Suffocation did.
-
I've realized from watching streamers play the PTB with Nicolas Cage's perks and this chapter's Made For This that a strong source of survivor fun is from perks. The survivor role can't express themselves through unique powers like killers have. Maybe more perks that could lead to fun and interactive ways so survivors don't feel like M1ing a gen is the only thing to do on a map.
-
I remember getting a 2K and the survivors in chat were like "you ran a Starstruck build and still lost lmao." So apparently survivors think so.

I believe the Alice in Wonderland collection also comes with unique lobby music. It's a nice touch!
Oh really? I've been meaning to get Artist's before the anniversary sale is over. I'm probably in for a treat.
-
When are they going to remove BP gains from Distressing and Thrill lol
-
Breakout builds are already hard enough as it is without a squad quadrupling down on hook offerings. They really are de-incentivizing any reason to be off gens.
-
Where are people seeing this. I'm not seeing it in the Patch Notes or News sections.

theyre just desperate to hold on to low effort casual survivors so they keep throwing free things at them
for most survivors putting effort into winning feels bad but losing feels bad too. they are trying to give these players the option to win with zero effort or thought so they stick around and buy feng outfits.
Ironic because I would almost think it's the killer base who wants low effort games for themselves as well.
-
Yes because people are making 20% sound extreme when in a game sense it probably doesn't mean much.
-
For the stun/blind random perks I got Blastmine as one of the perks which counts as both a stun and a blind. Made that challenge pretty easy.
-
I doubt they are going to do anything to gen progression. It just makes early 3v1 games much easier and even more of a "free win." The whole cycle punishes people who don't use gen perks and who plays for hooks.
The whole reason people "rush" is because they need to keep ahead in case a killer does want to tunnel early. Survivors more or less are playing with 3v1 in mind.
-
I put Legion buff (yes, despite a rework), nerf Blight and rework Trickster.
-
I like the swirling orbs that currently circle characters with invitation powers. Gives me Maplestory vibes. Cosmetics that are merely a giant "look at me." Maybe something more grandiose.
-
Side question that I was meaning to post in Suggestions put is it ever possible to see matches people rate a 5 on the "did you have fun" scale. I'd be curious to know especially for killers.
But to answer the answer...for survivor feeling like I had a fulfilling game. Pipping is a good caliber I guess you could say. I don't want to be a gen jockey but I also don't want to be the person who runs the killer the entire match.
For killer, I'm not sure I can answer. I don't find killer to be as interesting as survivor. Survivors are capable of doing many things in a match, whereas killer is searching and chasing. I don't find it as engaging. I only play it when incentives are up and even then maybe for an hour or so.
-
To unlock a mask you need to unlock the gates and begin end game. Plus, 7000 points just for escaping so people want as much bloodpoints as possible from all the BP stacks.
-
Have some of the Huntress/Wraiths I've been having. I'll gladly take Wesker over those two...Skull Merchant and Knight even.
-
Seems to be working now if you restart Steam. Just got back in.
-
I'd like to have some of these farming/friendly players. My games are the opposite where I'm having little desire to even use the offerings.
-
Dead Island 2 - killer I won't say because spoilers
Survivor - any of the 6 Slayers (preferably Ryan 😍) or Sam B
-
For survivor, first game was Self Care, Distortion, Stakeout and Left Behind.
Second game was Better Than New, Decisive, Exponential and Iron Will.
For killer I played Wesker with Superior Anatomy, Territorial, Lightborn and Iron Grasp.
-
I'm not downplaying the math or anything but do people play killers like Wesker, Huntress, Blight powerless and exclusively M1? And yes, I know, some killers like Doctor are kinda powerless against it.
