"Blood warden. Blood warden was not nerfed and there's literally nothing we can do once someone has been hooked. 60 minutes is half the timer and makes no gameplay for helping people escape. Nerf the [BAD WORD] out of remember me but completely forget about blood warden? I know it slows it down when someone is hooked or downed but not by much."
No. Stop.
You're wrong.

Yea. It takes quite a while to find a game as a Survivor. Hell I ended up against a Killer at a much higher rank than me (which is annoying because I haven't played in a while) because it was taking so long to find a game.
It just feels like no one plays Killer anymore on PS4. Which means it takes ages for Survivors to find a game.

That's if you increase the time the EGC lasts by 50%, which is not the same as slowing the EGC gauge by 50%.

If they do have a cap, then it's not a 50% slowdown, it's a 50% time increase.
Exactly.

really? using dead hard as a free hit? also u should specify by potential you mean what loops can be opened up, I interpreted it as potential uses of the perk (as in how often u can activate it). sprint burst is the only exhaustion perk to elminate creating dead zones as an option. I understand the drawback, but it isnt nearly as much of a downside of not having the structure u need near by
Lithe and Balanced Landing eliminates dead zones too, unless you are already in one.
And if you go down before you can get to something to use Balanced Landing or, especially, Lithe then the issue isn't the Exhaustion Add-ons. You shouldn't need to start a chase with SB to get to a loop.

Y'all he's saying that the person will die on the hook whenever there is 1 minute remaining on the EGC timer (2 minutes passed) assuming they was hooked at the very beginning of it. Therefore, 2 minutes passed during the hook slow and 1 minute remains on the collapse timer, this adds up to a 3 minute EGC timer.
However, y'all are right, if the hook slow applied all throughout the EGC timer then we will have 4 minutes instead of 2.
I see.
I missed the "hooked" part. It makes sense if you look at it that way, but no one was specifically talking about only one survivor being hooked, they were talking about them being slugged, a survivor later being hooked and the game "being held hostage for the full EGC duration" by a killer and what not.
So @Almo is either being misleading or misunderstood what people were talking about. Or was truthfully answering that the EGC can not last longer than 3 minutes.

Self Care is still the most used perk at all levels.
I don't agree with it and think its a waste of time but many people are still trying to keep the self healing meta going.

No, the wording is totally fine. Youre just totally wrong.
Ooooooh. Everything makes sense now. lol

Nope. Not a bug.
Defaced Smiley Pin: Added a 60 second Mangled status effect when Feral Frenzy hitting a Survivor with Deep Wound.
Smiley Face Pin: Added a 60 second Blindness status effect when Feral Frenzy hitting a Survivor with Deep Wound.
The Legion Pin: Added a 60 second Broken status effect when Feral Frenzy hitting a Survivor with Deep Wound.

I like my free BP and (possible) item. k thanx.

how, in what world, does the perk that requires NOTHING extra from u other than pressing shift, have the least amount of potential?
Because it reduces your movement options and doesn't give as many choices or loop options as the rest?
The fact that you can't run until you use it should be reason enough to understand how it has the least amount of potential.

Why did I find this so funny?

Do you see her? How else is she going to some loving?

if i'm driving at 60 MPH and i slow down by 50%, i am now travelling at 30 MPH, i am not travelling at 40 MPH. If you slow something down by "half", it takes "double" the amount of time for it to get completed. Slowing the 2 minute timer by 50% should be 4 minutes if slugged/hooked at start of EGC, not 3 minutes, so which is it, hmm?
I feel they are wording it wrong, or something.
I haven't timed the EGC but they keep saying it lasts 3 minutes which means they must of coded it to increase the time it takes for the EGC to end by 50%, which is definitely not the same as slowing the gauge by 50%.
-
@Almo said:

This is not quite correct. When the timer slows down, it slows down by 50%. So if someone is hooked for the entire EGC, the amount of time maxes out at 3 minutes, not 4.
Either you guys aren't explaining it right or your math is wrong.
If the bar SLOWS BY HALF(50%) that means it will take twice the amount of time to run out. Meaning it will take 4 minutes instead of 3 as stated.
However if the AMOUNT OF TIME the EGC lasts for increases by 50% then it would last for 3 minutes.
-
@MegsAreEvil Never bring this up in these kinds of threads. These people are mad and think that all those who work at Behaviour work on all things. So they believe those creating content should stop doing that and get to coding and fixing bugs.
In reality this is nonsense but people like this don't live in reality, only in a state of anger and frustration where everything needs to bend to their will.

I love that people think you rely on exhaustion perks because you think exhaustion addons should be changed. it's really stupid you're limited to 3 perks the entire game because of an add-on. you simply never get to use your exhaustion perk effectively without being unreasonable about it (example: having to stay injured so u can dead hard a clown bottle lmao)
This is one of the most ridiculous posts I've ever seen.
If a Killer is running an Exhaustion Add-On you aren't always going to be exhausted, you WILL get use out of your Perk if you work around it/don't get hit before they inflict you with it.
Besides Balanced Landing isn't completely shut down. Neither is Adrenaline.

"DC the lobbies"
Lobby dodging is annoying but it has no where near the negative impact on gameplay as DCing survivors.
-
Meh. Its fine.

@GrootDude said:
Yes, I buy every DLC.

You didn't HAVE to DC.
Don't blame them for your lost BP.
-
Its hard enough preparing a "counter" build for a match as a killer, if they couldn't see what items the survivors were running then it would be even more stressful.
Survivor running a key? good luck figuring that out.
All 4 running a flashlight? You're getting blinded everywhere and probably didn't take Franklin's Demise.

yes using the hags most powerful add ons to say she’s a top tier hmmm. Logic, seems to go back to the whole point of killers who are reliance on that are bad killers
Oh my f**king god.
Its been a while since I've seen any one THIS delusional about the Hag.
-
This is similar to how they listed SWF stats.
They lumped it all together instead of showing it per rank which doesn't give you an accurate picture of the reality.
-
"Ok I do agree that if you do less toxic things you're less likely to encounter DC."
🤣
-
Survivor.
I rarely play Killer anymore because I don't find it fun and I find Survivor easier and a lot less stressful.
-
If I'm broken? Yes.
Otherwise, no.
She's rare though and usually I can avoid getting ill since I'm such a low rank right now. lol
-
Basically everything listed in this thread.
Also when they get hit and then immediately downed. Its like, what were you doing watching the killer clean their weapon?

Those two things are apples and oranges. People on the dev team have different skill sets, they aren't all interchangeable. The artists that are making cosmetics cannot fix bugs, and the programmers can't make cosmetics. Likewise, making a cosmetic does not require programmers, so halting the creation of cosmetics wouldn't have an effect on bug fixes.

I have never gotten Yamaoka Estate as a Survivor and hate when I get it as a Killer, which isn't too often tbh. lol
-
She is hurt by sound issues currently going on and has sound bugs herself.
If you are okay with this, and use a headset, she is good.

Thanks for the update @Peanits .
Both communicating with the community to help us understand what is going on AND cute?

I still feel bad running "No Fear" Jenny in Friday the 13th. Jasons never knew what they were getting into when they would chase me, and I would jumpscare the hell out of them every time from around a corner with a baseball.
Plus doors, and beartraps...
-
This is why I only play Survivor now.
The stress of playing a Killer was too much for me.
Am I weak? Probably. But I want to have fun, and I just don't find playing Killer fun anymore.

@Guilty87 said:
There are a few great nurses on ps4, The you Need a mouse and keyboard to play her is a meme just as bad as fighting game players who say you need a fight stick.
Not really the same.
Nurse is playable, she just takes a LOT of time to learn and master, time most people don't have, and you need to have patience and not be annoyed by dropped frames and more limited camera work/turning when compared to using a mouse.
-
Spirit(non-bugged), Hag, Myers, Huntress and (possibly) Clown. Are the most "balanced" Killers imo right now. In terms of Killer vs Killer strength.
Nurse and Billy are on the stronger end, but this is where I feel Behaviour should be aiming when balancing all Killers. In regards to game balance I would say these two are most balanced. Hag and pre-bugged Spirit are close though.
The others are either just weak (Leatherface), unfun to play against (Doctor[imo], Legion), they rely way to much on Survivor interaction/knowledge (Wraith, Plague), or they are too slow in the set-up (Trapper). Obviously this is my opinion and Killers fall into multiple groups but I feel these are their strongest characteristics.
And then there is Freddy. Who falls into all the categories and does nothing to make up for it.
-
Then she gets to use the fountain and its much harder to loop her.
Are we seriously saying she is weak to SWF now? Like, I dunno, all killers?
-
Freddy is annoying to face and Survivors who don't understand how he works will get destroyed. But Freddy is greatly hindered once you face people who know his weaknesses.
-
No. Holy fck.
-
Yes its normal right now, because there is no real penalty for DCing other than loss of Bloodpoints. If things aren't going their way they'll DC.
I don't DC but a LOT of people do right now.
-
Most people don't have the time to get good with Nurse on PS4. lol
-
As a survivor? Leatherface. Freddy is annoying but Leatherface is easy.
For me playing Killer I would say the worse Killer is the Nurse since she is so hard to use and I suck super bad with her. And that Stun drives me insane.
-
What's the point of them looking like Survivors though? This would be useless against SWF, and be annoying for Solo to deal with.
-
Probably not bugged, you probably just didn't meet all the requirements.
-
Calm Spirit and Small Game.

I'm curious if this is just for information's sake or if there is an alternative motive behind this.
The thing is is that this wass given without much context. Its not for information, its obviously here to say Killers have been "overnerfed".
-
@Peanits said:
That would be very cool to have, though I feel like it would be a jumpscare when I'm playing killer. (Not like that's a bad thing.)
Agreed.
Killer's already get jumpscared every other game by Claudette so it wouldn't really be any different. lol
-
"She is a Powerful killer and easy for her to Catch survivors especially now ... "
What? What do you mean "especially now"?
"She doesn't feel like she received a nerf and Her Dash Attack Range Buff is pretty noticeable"
????????????????????????
"Just catch one survivor and place a trap on them . Wait for others and set traps onto them"
If Survivors stick around that's their fault.
"The end game collapse timer even was reduced from 3 minutes to 2 minutes and the Exit gate timer reverted to 20 seconds from 15."
EGC doesn't start until a Gate is opened or the Hatch is closed. Also if someone is downed or hooked the timer goes slower.
"if you can't hit Survivors now with that Long Dash attack then it means you need to get better with her she can literally take a full circle around long loop spots now"
Like literally what?
Please stop you obviously have no idea what you are talking about.
