Maybe wait and actually observe it in action on a large scale?

Hitting a hatchet has a shorter cooldown than hitting a regular M1. As such, her hatchet-M1 combo makes basement rescues really risky, and trading against her nigh impossible.
The fact that she can hit at distance also allows her to ignore the anti-facecamp-measures entirely.

Ok but, what about filters? the light will turns on back with them
I think it's a substantial reduction of the drawing distance of the environment. Filters won't help you there.

Very pleased to see so many people pledge their fealty to the Rainbow Birb
I, of course, wear it as well, alongside whatever I feel suits the character best. On my mains, I have added the Ace flag as well.
-
Au contraire. This opens up the possibility of discouraging survivors to take tapes at all, meaning you won't have to deal with your TV's being unavailable. You can sacrifice gen stalling for aggression.
Ie., my original Sadako playstyle, perfected.

Just because you don't care, that doesn't mean others don't care either.

It is pretty fun that a player can come here and say a survivor was using DH, DS, UB and BT while the killer was running STBFL, NOED, PGTW and DMS and everyone instantly understands what the person is talking about.
What fascinates me the most is when there's a post that uses an acronym when referring to a killer add-on, especially when it's a lesser used/discussed one. Abbrevations aren't too hard to understand, but such acronyms become damn near impossible to decipher if you aren't super familiar with the killer in question. It's a jargon sphere within the jargon sphere. And as such... the inverse happens and people rarely use them.
The only ones I can think of that do have acronyms are the best-known ones, because of their notoriety (Spirit's MDR, Blight's C33).
-
I think it depends on whether you tend to verbally discuss topics, or through text. Acronyms are difficult to pronounce unless they are conveniently pronouncable by coincidence (NOED), so you don't see content creators use acronyms often. Abbrevations (Pop) are more favoured, for obvious reasons.
Us Forumites, however, are not typically discussing verbally, so we're free to use acronyms. On that same token, though, you're not gonna find such acronyms in spaces that aren't dedicated to DbD as a topic. It's jargon at its purest. Indecipherable if you aren't familiar with the context. It also carries connotations of "We know what we're talking about," for better or worse.
Gaming discourse in general loves its acronyms, likely because it's mostly discussed through text. At some point, though, it starts to backfire, especially when you get multiple terms that result in the same acronym (PT: Prove Thyself, or Plot Twist?) And with the sheer number of acronyms, people will eventually start to lose track.
Other, simpler factors include which one you heard first, which one feels better, and which one is easier to type.

I've unhidden my name once to test it, so.. maybe?? my research assistants were not quite as attentive as I was when experimenting with it.

Recently, I've been doing a Minecraft classic Skyblock. It has been a massive help with getting me to relax in this very busy January.
I've also been rounding off my remaining Binding of Isaac unlocks. Only Tainted Lost and Tainted Lazarus remain!
Before that, I did two playthroughs of Death's Door. A classic-zelda-like starring a crow.
Also in keeping the bird theme, I've played through Aviary Attorney this week. An Ace Attorney parody set in 19th century France, based on the works of J.J. Grandville. It's a bit short, but if you love bird puns and solving crimes this one's for you.

Knight.

Wdym "can't chase too fast"
Fast chases are your primary goal. More fast chases = more pressure = easier time = big good

Most likely the 31st.

White auras are typically not hidden when affected by Blindness.

Yep, it's de-prioritised due to Knight not having a high pick-rate and being unlicensed.
If a killer like Wesker had an issue that would require him to be killswitched, he would probably be back online within a week at most.
Having a character disabled for over a month is simply not acceptable.

I highly doubt that people who played from day 1 found the game easier now than back then with literal infinites at basically any window and double pallets everywhere.
Bold of you to assume most players knew how to use them, if they even recognised them as such.

The fallout of the single week that the game went Free to Play is still visible to this day.
A price reduction might be in order, but straight up free ain't it.
-
I do kinda miss the grass that was just pitch black.
-
Either that's a cheater, or they didn't turn the game off once in all the time that he has been killswitched.
-
19 killers would be eliminated immediately, if we went with the "no supernatural manure". They either wouldn't exist at all, be dead, or be so severely maimed that they'd be writhing in agony.
That's... a really strange rule.
-
1: They were never consistent in chase.
2: Asking a bot to "give up" is, from a technical perspective, really weird. There's way too many reasons not to give up. The the bot is simply unable to know for sure what you want from it. It is, quite simply, trying to survive, and giving up is very much contradicting that.
3: You can't make bots hit all skillchecks either. There'd be no point in making them face skillchecks at all, rendering them immune to Oppression, Overcharge, and the like. You'd be making bots better than players this way, which is undesirable.
4: It's not a 3v2. That really is just exaggeration, ngl.

My Billy is godawful. I cannot for the life of me understand why or how I ever mained him when I started out.

Sadako & Thrilling Tremors
Downtime? I don’t even know her!
-
Besides it being integral to gameplay, the Red Stain is one of those weird DbD things that I would hate to see removed, just because it’s weird and cool and such.
Just like basement. Issues be damned, it’s a part of DbD’s identity.
-
Huntress' Lullaby with 3 stacks makes me incredible at hitting greats for some reason.
And Doc with Merciless Storm somehow just does not work on me, but when any other killer with it does.
-
It counters Adrenaline
-
...Jack the Ripper is not an urban legend, eh? He was a real-life serial killer. It'd be a bit insensitive to glorify a man like that, no?
I think you mean "Jeff the Killer", from the now rather infamous creepypasta.
-
First time I've seen that specific spot, but I have seen the music room not having a gen before.
-
It’s not bannable per se.
But you will have to live with a lot of flak and rarely seeing a game be completed in full.
Also, as a general comment, consider pragmatic empathy.

Disney just lost the copyright rights to Micky Mouse. Maybe we can see a more where he shoves a mouskitool down someone's throat, lol.
the first incarnation of mickey mouse. I'm afraid they didn't lose the rights to their single most recognisable character quite yet.
That said, it would be very out there to have the Mouse running around the trials.

Really I thought it was gone entirely.
It's gone from the Autohaven maps that have received layout updates. Wretched Shop and Blood Lodge, I think. Gas Heaven was also updated but I forget if that map even has a bus tile.
Azarov's and Wrecker's Yard should still have the old fun bus.
-
The only ones that I can really see having full chapter potential are Silent Hill, and maybe Stranger Things.
Many of the IP's that we already have kinda lack important characters to fill out an entire second chapter (that also isn't RE). They don't have a good fit the survivor slot, ie., Evil Dead would need to have a survivor that can stand on their own alongsides Ash Williams. And most movie IP's rely on having a hallmark slasher character. Halloween cannot produce a killer beyond Michael Myers, for example.

Wow. The colours are spot on
Amazing

She’s far, FAR less mindless spammy than what she’s like on live right now. That alone is a massive W.
Also, I still stand by the claim her non-slugging style was way better than people gave her credit for. She is/was/will once again be the queen of the hit ‘n run. And now that Projection TV cooldown is more than halved, she’ll be quite the force to reckon with.

Amateur Ornithologist
Interact with a Crow to Pet and Befriend the Crow. Befriended Crows can no longer be startled by you.
Gain a Loud Noise Notification whenever the killer disturbs a Befriended Crow within 28 meters of you.
Befriended Crows can be Pet again, but doing so will not grant any additional effects.
"Crows remember faces, and hold grudges. Don't wrong the birds--they'll remember."
Crow Market
Interact with a Crow to Pet and Befriend the Crow. Befriended Crows can no longer be startled by you.
Dropping an item near a Befriended Crow will cause the Crow to take the item, and fly off with it. After 120 seconds, the Crow returns. Coming within 16 meters of said Crow will make it fly over to you, after which it will drop a different item next to you. The Item will always be of a different category than the one you gave it.
Crow Market can only be activated once per Crow. Crows will not accept items that you received from a Crow.
Befriended Crows can be Pet again, but doing so will not grant any additional effects.
"Corvids aren't actually attracted to shiny objects, but that doesn't mean they don't know what treasure is."
Cry Murder
Interact with a Crow to Pet and Befriend the Crow. Befriended Crows can no longer be startled by you.
Interact with a Befriended Crow again to make it perch on you. Up to three Crows can perch on you at once. Once you have three Crows perched, you can do a special interaction with a locker.
The Crows will perch on the locker you interacted with and begin cawing, creating Loud Noise Notifications for the killer, imitating the behaviour of Idle Crows. The Crows will continue to caw for 60 seconds, or until the Killer searches the Locker.
Once the Crows are bored of cawing, they'll return to their original positions. They will remain befriended.
Befriended Crows can be Pet again, but doing so will not grant any additional effects.
"Not only are corvids excellent at mimicry, they seem to enjoy the confusion they cause as well."

How will this interact with Ruin? If I let a gen start regressing and then repair it for 5 seconds, and repeat enough times, does Ruin not work on that gen anymore?
Ruin applies regardless of the time worked on the gen.
It also doesn't count towards the 8 hits a gen can take.

Blight is by no means dead.
His most egregious add-one got hit pretty hard. That is all.

I'm curious to see the new 'regression events' in action, though I usually don't play PTBs (mostly I just watch content creators and then have a go at it myself when the updates come to live).
Perhaps STBFL should only lose tokens when the Obsession takes a hit by any means (either M1 or M2), not by losing a healthstate by any means. Otherwise they can also cause the killer to lose stacks from simply using Plot Twist in a corner, which is completely out of the killer's control.
Twice per match, and even then that'd only work if you're the obsession.
That's a non-issue, I'd say.

oh ######### it might be

@Coffeecrashing said:
Excessive hiding will be the strongest counter play for 3-gens.
Coordinated survivors will be able to repair generators in short bursts of time (at least 4.5 seconds), then run far away to hide, and wait for the killer to patrol by, and potentially kick the generator. The survivors can then just repeat this over and over, until the killer is forbidden to kick those generators anymore, at which point they can continue the “short burst of repairing + hiding” strategy, until the generator is fully repaired.
The 3-gen solution was supposed to fix the “way too long” game lengths, but instead will make it the optimal strategy for survivors to extend the game to enormous lengths, to repair the last generator at minimal risk to themselves.
Doesn't Nowhere to Hide hard counter this exact strategy?

ok, having now read the thing

Doesn't Huntress and Leatherface have child like mentalities? So there is an argument to be had they are not aware of what they are doing.
I wouldn't put Pinhead in Irredeemable. Pinhead is a complex one to place.
I'd say Sadako is a victim too.
Most the the Bad, but Irredeemable I would move.
Huntress having a child-like mind was a fan theory, due to her aggravated yells when hit with a pallet.
Dunno about Leatherface, tho.

To answer the title, it'll always be The Evil Within for me.
we got very close when the creative director of EW designed skins for DbD, but now i don't know how likely it is.
